State Senator Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) was hoping to bankrupt or cut off business to contractors working in the state of California if they helped to build the border wall.
SB 30 was the bill, and Lara was going in the for the kill.
Anything that he could do to run on the anti-Trump agenda, Lara was going to do it.
But when the bill was set to go before a key assembly committee, Lara had to pull the bill.
Why? He couldn't get the votes!

I called Senator Lara's office earlier today and I told his snot-faced staffer we are going to build that wall come hell or high water!
