Republicans of all ages donned patriotic hats during the meeting.
Congressman Ken Calvert gave a Washington, DC, update.
NOTE: As was anticipated, there were opposition, anti-Trump Indivisibles in attendance at the meeting. It was estimated to be about 5 people. At the beginning of the meeting, strict rules of decorum were read by the leader of the Corona Norco Republican Women Federated. During the question and answer segment, the anti-Trump Indivisible group intermittently posed various questions in opposition to the border wall, calling for Trump to be investigated for his "Russian" connection, and issues in regard to women's rights. The dialogue remained civil and Congressman Calvert directly answered each question.
During his Washington, DC update, Congressman Calvert talked at length about the issue of illegal aliens in the USA. He wholeheartedly supports the Trump border wall. As a member of the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee, he very confidently stated the money will be allotted and the border wall will be built. He talked about how the number of illegal border crossings plummeted by more than 70 percent primarily because of President Trump's stance on enforcing immigration laws. Congressman Ken Calvert has an A+ NumbersUSA Immigration Card.

After Congressman Calvert delivered about a 20 minute talk on the current state of Washington, DC, he fielded questions for another half hour. After the meeting ended, he informally met with attendees, in a casual and upbeat atmosphere.
