Despite Muratsuchi’s efforts to paint Hadley as an extremist, the Sacramento Bee noted that Hadley voted with Democrats 79 percent of the time.
No, David Hadley is not an extremist.
This should be apparent to anyone who is paying attention or who has met the guy.
But he is not a liberal RINO either.

Let's face some hard facts.
The Democratic Party still controls Sacramento politics.
It sucks, but that's the way it is.
Just because a Republican votes a large portion of the time does not mean that he is caving on principles.
In fact, how exactly does the Sacramento Bee determine what constitutes a Democratic bill or a Republican bill?
David Hadley passed AB 306, school choice for military families.
How did the Sac Bee count this piece of legislation? Most likely as a Democratic bill.
The same probably holds true for SB 443, which drastically reformed civil asset forfeiture in the state of California.
This was a significant effort spearheaded by a libertarian-learning Republican.
The stats are not as critical as one thinks.
By the way, in 2015, how did the American Conservative Union rate Hadley?
