"Illegal aliens have more rights than citizens!"
The El Monte City Clerk responded with hateful disdain to the Hermosa Beach resident:

Thank you
K--- H------- for the feedback. Hope you can visit El Monte again in
the near future where your group can be respectful and be mindful of the
dignity of others.

Have a blessed day,
Jonathan Hawes
City Clerk

Here was the Hermosa Beach resident's response:

Mr. City Clerk,

I was not in El Monte.  I, as thousands of others, saw the videos online.
It's obvious you have no shame as you continue to cast blame on others
instead.  Another great leader.

Happy Easter!

This is the city clerk:

Not much of a man, that's for sure.

Send him a message loud and clear:

  1. The article (and video) covering what happened at this event also appears this morning at the Pasadena Star-News but is missing the reader comments (?)

  2. Go away, Arthur Christopher Schaper. Your small-minded racism isn't wanted in El Monte. We will promote inclusion and compassion whether you like it or not.

  3. The El Monte City Clerk answered the out-of-towner with class, which is something she and the rest of you lack.
