Dear Arthur,
No doubt you've heard of sanctuary cities, like Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and others. But, did you know Oregon is a sanctuary state? Yes, Oregon, by law, was the first sanctuary state in the country. As such, it has become safer for criminals and more dangerous for citizens.
The Stop Oregon Sanctuaries campaign is working to give Oregon voters the opportunity to repeal the state law. ORS 181A.820 interferes with Oregon law enforcement's ability to cooperate fully with U.S. immigration authorities. Every day, criminal illegal aliens are being arrested and then released right back onto our streets instead of being handed over to federal immigration authorities.
Here’s the good news: With your signature on our petition, you have the power to put an end to Oregon’s dangerous sanctuary state law. But time is running out to collect signatures.

Our opponents are well funded and organized. Cheap labor politicians and like-minded organizations are aggressively doing everything they can to stop our citizens' initiative by harassingStop Oregon Sanctuaries petition circulators and businesses supporting our campaign, and much more.
Will you take a stand and sign the Stop Oregon Sanctuaries petition?
The human cost of Oregon’s sanctuary policies is real and heart breaking. In 2017, Oregon gained national attention when notorious illegal alien Sergio Martinez was arrested. Because of ORS 181A.820, he had been released multiple times before by local law enforcement. After yet another arrest and release, he violently assaulted two women. Fortunately, he was arrested and convicted! He should have been in federal custody. Now, he will serve his sentence here in Oregon at an estimated cost of one million dollars. Oregonians pay financially, as well.
Your signature, and those of your family members and friends, on the Stop Oregon Sanctuaries petition could prevent the next tragedy from ever happening.
Go to StopOregonSanctuaries.org to sign and learn about all the ways you can help.
