Brian Dahle for Congress (?)

Brian Dahle

Let's face some hard facts:

California State Senate Minority Brian Dahle is not going to be the next governor of California. The voters turned down a recall effort against incumbent Governor Gavin Newoms last year by 2-to-1. It was just so discouraging. Newsom has the backing of very major political interest, and the woke cult has such a stronghold on so many voters in the state.

So, why is Dahle running for Governor?

He is propping up his bid for higher office, i.e. Congress, when CA-01 House Rep. Doug LaMalfa resigns, retires, etc., or Dahle will go after a seat on the Board of Equalization once Ted Gaines terms out.

That's what swampy Republicans in the California State Legislature do. They are not interested in saving the state. Most of them do not speak up to stop bad legislation during the legislative session, even. They make no efforts to improve the well-being and quality of life for California residents. They don't care because they don't have to. They show up, cast their votes, collect their paycheck, then prep for higher office or local office or set up their consulting firms once they term out.

They are looking to hold onto whatever political power is available to them or make whatever money they can, including running for whatever higher office may be available to them in the near future.

How has the Dahle for Governor campaign spent its money?

Campaign Consultant Josh Cook  $115,000  (Cook is also the Senator Dahle Chief of Staff)

The consultant gets 10% of campaign take. Wow!

Slate cards    $256,000

Where does he plan on sending the slates? Orange County?

Other consultants:

Matt Shupe (Contra Costa GOP Chair)  $7500

Call to Action Consulting (a Redding firm)  $10,000

Fortune Masters Group—also from Redding    $10,000

Farah Farr Consulting   $7421

Janessa Zimmerman   $5500

You have five other consultants listed. FIVE! What's this all about?

It's all about feathering the nests of the permanent minority of failure that runs the CAGOP.

Notice again how consultants have taken over as chairmen for key committees throughout the state. The activists and the grassroots voters do not run things in the California GOP. It's all run by a receding number of well-connected political technicians and wonks who just want to cash a check. They don't care about California. They don't care about the voters. They only care about their nest-egg and their next real estate investment (or the next campaign gig, or they next bid for higher office, etc.)

Julie Haff—LAGOP Treasurer/Executive Director   $4500

Lo and behold, even the Los Angeles County GOP is moving in on the money, too! Now we know how they are managing to keep the lights on for the otherwise abandoned LAGOP Central Committee.

I have looked at Republican State Party programs, platforms, and apparatus in the other states, and it just excites me and depresses me all at once. Florida, Iowa, even Rhode Island and Maine, have active state parties that are looking forward to taking back territory and winning seats in the state legislature or Congress!

And what about California? It's just a sad decline of excuses and corporate payoffs. A handful of people get rich, and the rest of the state suffers. It's almost as though the Democrats have fully infiltrating the California Republican Party to ensure nothing but controlled opposition comes out of them.

Brian Dahle is running for Congress or the Board of Equalization down the line, and in the meantime he is propping up a host of consultants and campaign vendors to keep them happy, so that he can take advantage of them for his next political push. What a let-down.

110 Ways Citizens Can Make a Difference NOW (From Idaho State Rep. Heather Scott)

110 Ways Citizens Can Make a Difference Now!

fh

At a time when our country and state are in disarray and crisis mode, I am reassessing how I will spend my time and energy to improve government and keep our great Republic intact.  Each of us should do this now, if we want to leave a lasting and positive legacy to future Idaho generations.  I still believe all governing power is in the people and when exercised in positive and purposeful ways, it is still the most powerful tool to overcome any societal issue.   We should never be waiting for a government fix because it is always more expensive, incredibly time consuming, and it discourages interpersonal dialogue.    We need to look no further than this “pandemic” to see how ineffective government can be with its “one size fits all” solutions loaded with hidden agendas and consequences.

In an effort to move towards more self-reliance and less government reliance, I have developed the following list of 110 suggested steps you can start doing today to make a difference and keep our Republic. These are meant to be a starting point and I am sure each of you will think of more.  I encourage you to pick three things to start with and attempt to accomplish them before the November election.  Please vote in November, since the fate of your state and country depends upon it.

110 Things You Can Do Now by Rep. Heather Scott

  1. Understand where your rights come from, what they are, and what unalienable means and be able to explain this to another person.
  2. Stop supporting any and all biased media or social networks that distort the truth, censor facts, and stifle free speech.
  3. Support local businesses who provide local jobs, help local communities, and respect your rights.
  4. Work to change the political campaign finance laws by pressuring your legislators for change and exposing special interest groups and lobbyists who use their influence money to promote increased government regulations, stifle competition, breed crony capitalism, and buy elections.
  5. Understand and believe that our Constitution works because all power is in the people, not government.
  6. Remind your elected officials regularly that they are there to serve you, the people. You are their boss, and when necessary use your vote to remove them from office.
  7. Stop worrying about what others are not doing, or what you think they should do, and take action and responsibility for yourself.
  8. Host or be a catalyst for regular gatherings to discuss current issues and solutions with friends and neighbors and develop a plan of action for uncertain times.
  9. Turn off your TV and consider opening your Bible.
  10. Understand the jurisdictional boundary of every government entity that collects tax or fee money from you to run government programs. Start by looking at your property tax statement.

  54. Understand how long the terms of the elected officials in your area are and when they meet.
  55. Join a special interest group or political party that promotes a policy or cause you care about.
  56. Home school your children.
  57. Read the Declaration of Independence.
  58. Work on talking about politics or religion in a respectful way.
  59. Attend local meetings: city council, county commissioners, library taxing districts, etc.
  60. Volunteer at a local charity and meet new people.
  61. Rely on various legitimate media sources to inform yourself on the issues and performance of elected officials.

  65. Sign wave for a candidate.
  66. Help register a new voter.

  97. Promote healthy conversations and debate.
  98. Offer solutions, not problems.
  99. Donate a book of stamps to a candidate or help them stuff envelopes.

100.  Write a bill to change or eliminate a law.

101.  Know what the law says and where to find it.

102.  Understand the limitations and the authority of the elected official you are asking help from.

103.  Visit your courthouse and sit in on a few trials to better understand the judicial system.

104.  Establish your credibility by offering good, truthful information.

105.  Defend our country.

106.  Report disrespectful treatment by government workers to their supervisors.

107.  Let government officials and bureaucrats know when they are doing a good job.

108.  Don’t complain about things you are not willing to work hard to change.

109.  Stop waiting for someone else to tell you what you should be doing, take initiative, and lead.

110.  Pray for our country and state and our elected leaders daily.

Ultimately, we are the government, and we will get the government and society we allow.  We owe it to our founding fathers, our veterans and our families to do everything in our power to avoid violence or a civil war.  What will we give to the next generation?

TUSD Fail: Sara Pearlman Strikes Again, Pushing LGBT on Kids

Sara Pearlman Strikes Again

When does the grooming stop?!

The Torrance Unified school year has started up again, and already parents are complaining about Sara Pearlman, English teacher at Richardson Middle School.

Here are the latest remarks I read in the Torrance Community Concerns Facebook group:

1. Pearlman has 17 LGBT flags posted in her classroom, all representing the 17 students which she helped "come out."

2. Pearlman does not allow students to go into her classroom during "Back to School Night." I wonder what she is hiding ...

Of course, there's a lot of other crazy staff that has been happening in her classroom, too. She is a clear example of a rabid SJW politicizing her classroom and indoctrinating students.

Here's a reminder of the crap that she has been pushing in her classroom, based on what parents have told me over the last two years:

1.            She has a “Bad Cop, No Donut” poster in her class

2.            She has placed LGBT flags in classroom, promoting sexual perversion

3.            She is pushing destructive Critical Race/Gender Theory

4.            She sponsors the harmful “Gay-Straight Alliance” program on campus

If you have anything else to report, please feel free to contact me: (781) 474-3005.

Equality Federation Wants to Push Perversion in Public Schools

Parents are rising up all over the country. They don't want their kids abused or indoctrinated in public schools.

Sadly, astroturf left-wing groups are pushing back on the restoration of sanity. They want to create abusive confusion among children in government schools.

They want to undermine parental rights and push LGBT madness as far as they can.

It's astonishing how decrepit and corrupt some activists can be. Just disgusting!

Check out the latest checklist of outrages that "Equality Federation" is pushing for in government-run education:

Hi Arthur,

The return to school has been top of mind for me as a queer parent of a 7-year-old. School should be a space where all youth feel safe to learn, grow, and be in community. Yet young people - particularly transgender youth - are going back to school across the country and entering actively hostile environments.

Here are some of the policies that have been enacted in one or more states that alienate LGBTQ+ youth in schools:

  • Trans school athlete bans
  • Trans school bathroom bans
  • Laws to allow the deliberate and persistent misgendering and/or deadnaming of trans students
  • Book bans of books touching on topics of race and LGBTQ+ identity
  • Restrictions on sex education
  • Restrictions on teaching accurate portrayals of history
  • Restrictions on teaching on topics of race and LGBTQ+ identity
  • Restrictions on mentioning LGBTQ+ identities in the classroom
  • Restrictions on diversity, equity, and inclusion training for teachers and school staff
  • Forced outing to parents of transgender students by school staff
  • Dismantling of anti-bullying policies
  • Restrictions on collecting data on sexual orientation and gender identity in surveys like the Youth Risk Behavioral Survey

These policies hurt students of all genders and sexual orientations.

Even in states where an anti-transgender bill has been defeated or is in court, institutions are acting as if it is law. For example, the North Dakota High School Activities Association has banned trans girls from participating in sports even though the governor vetoed the state’s anti-trans sports bill last year.

It is urgent we assert trans youth belong in school. No matter where you live, there's one thing you can do to support trans youth today:

Submit a public comment to the U.S. Department of Education

The U.S. Department of Education is suggesting a rule change that would amend Title IX’s nondiscrimination mandate to include all schools that receive federal funding. We support this change, which would go a long way to supporting LGBTQ+ students at school. Anti-LGBTQ+ operatives are organizing to flood public comments rejecting this change.

We need you to leave a comment by September 12 in support of this rule change and efforts to reduce discrimination in all schools that receive taxpayer funding.

To leave a comment, please go to this link and write a message. If you feel overwhelmed or too busy to write something personal, you can simply say, “I support the rule change and recommend its implementation.”

If you want more guidance on what to say, check out this guide from Montana Human Rights Network, one of our state partners.

Thank you for using your voice to support trans youth today.

Reminder About the 45 Goals of the Communist Party

A friend of mine in Texas sent this list to me. The Communist Party outlined 45 goals to destroy the United States of America. Here they are.

How many of these goals have been accomplished, by the way?

45 GOALS OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY – 1963

Source: The Information Corner Communist Goals (1963)

Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35

Current Communist Goals

Thursday, January 10, 1963

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and

articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she

dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following

“Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,”

by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral

strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or

not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the

German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as

long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a

one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the

world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with

each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their

activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist

propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under

Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy making

positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American

Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless,

awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive,

meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech

and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books,

magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and

emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the

principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern

needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for

the “common man.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground

that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the

Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education,

social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems

as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive

control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute

prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition;

that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic,

political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Karens Gonna Karen: Jen Graham Pushes More "Divisiveness"

Jen "Karen" Graham (Cracker?)

At the August 23, 2022 Torrance City Council meeting, Jen "Karen" Graham, the overweight leftist who runs "Torrance Community Group" hate group on Facebook, (which has a long history of defaming conservatives, constitutionalists, and any resident with common sense) went after me during the public comment portion of the meeting:

"Arthur is so divisive!" (Go to 2:26:30 mark)

The hypocrisy is beyond rank at this point.

I have been witnessing these left-wing activist groups popping up in the South Bay for the last five years. The South Bay Indivisibles, El Segundo for Black Lives, the South Bay 350 before all of that, and now Manhattan Beach United. Now we can include the (now hidden) Torrance Community Group.

They are pushing critical racist theory in the local schools. They want to normalize LGBT madness. They want to turn every city into a left-wing hotspot which gives into every health mandate and executive order from Sacramento. They routinely target and bully any business, and resident who has the courage to speak up against the Left and speak up for constitutional principles, natural law, and the right to peaceably assemble.

In other words, they are inherently divisive. They want to split up cities and create more categories of marginalization so that they can feel good about themselves and enable more people to dependent. Who is the one causing the trouble? They are, and in like left-wing fashion, they target everyone who calls them out, including me.

This local left-wing hate-group activism has reached a fevered pitch throughout the region. Thankfully, there are local parents and other groups that are pushing back on the encroaching anti-liberty, anti-morality movements fomenting in the area. Residents in Manhattan Beach have done a more than creditable job pushing back on MB United, for example.

For the record, let's talk about what really causes division:

1. a school district forces kids to mask up, even though research has confirmed that the masks were unnecessary and ineffective.

2. a school hires a teacher to also serve as wrestling coach without doing a background check, and this coach then abuses 20+ high school students, and the school district takes no steps to remove the principal who had appointed the wrestling coach in the first place.

3. a city council continued to spend down city reserves without considering where money would come from to recoup those losses.

4. an armed thug steals a vehicle, then parks in a grocery parking lot, then refuses to follow orders from a police officer and gets shot.

5. a hate group protests and shuts down city council meetings in order to protest the justified death of the above assailant.

6. local residents demand that one resident be "run out of town" simply because he believes in protecting the natural rights of children and parents alike.

Again, who is really causing division in the city of Torrance?

Apparently, I really do live in these people's heads rent free. I exposed their cancerous recriminations against me (and others). I have punched back at their rancor, and they don't like it. I sincerely hope that more residents will have the courage to speak up and fight back against this left-wing onslaught, which has become commonplace in small-town and middle-city America, including California. The last thing that we need is more people to turn into shrinking violets who let these bullies get away with the wrongdoing that they want to perpetrate on others.

The Parent Movement in California Compared to Idaho

It's been 2+ years since COVID-19 was foisted upon the world, and in that time parents realized that they needed to fight back against their local school boards to ensure the health and well-being of their children.

It was a disastrous overreach to an illness that was an overhyped version of the flu, nothing more. Sadly, the whole world panicked and went into shut-down mode all over. Later research has confirmed that masks do not work, that they were never necessary in the first place, and lockdowns had a negligible effect (if any) in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Parents learned what many pro-family activists had been saying for years: the schools are not safe for kids. They are indoctrinating children with all kinds of filth and perversion and calling it "good." They don't put the well-being of the children first. They care more about which political lobby has the power in the school district: the teachers unions and the contractors and the administrative bloat within the school district and throughout the state.

School districts are not safe paces. They are pushing mental illnesses like homosexuality and transgenderism, all under the guise of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. They are teaching kids to hate themselves and to hate each other because of their skin color.

They are not teaching children who to read, write, do math, think, create, build, or grow.

There is no accountability in government schools, since once a teacher passes tenure, it is almost impossible to fire a teacher

A number of parents started to band together to fight back against the health overreach as well as the critical racist theory and sexual degeneracy being pushed on children. But they didn't want to fight it as hard as it needed.

I remember meeting with a number of parents, telling them that they had to confront school board members and teachers, call them out for the abuse that they were visiting on students in the classroom. A Some parents were willing to share tips with me, and some other residents in the city also let me know what was going on.

However, when I told parents how they had to confront and call out teachers, not just the elected officials, I was surprised by how many of them balked at the idea. They didn't want to go aggressively after the very people who were pushing all the bad stuff on the children in the first place. In one Zoom meeting, a parent actually told me that she was friends with one of the teachers whom I was exposing and confronting! I was sickened!

That parent was more interested in maintaining a cordial, civil friendship with a creepy teacher instead of fighting back and protecting her kids and other kids in the local school district. This was really frustrating.

The more that I think about it, the more outraged I become. I hate to say it, but some of these parents were de facto enablers of the very abuse and bad policies that they wanted to stop, or rather that they claimed that they wanted to stop!

In contrast to a number of the parents I tried to work with in the South Bay section of Los Angeles County, I just found this incredible mother, a real profile in courage, in Northern Idaho. She and other parents work with the Idaho chapter of MassResistance, the organization that I work form, too. For the last year, they have been confronting and calling out the local library board for allowing all kinds of lew materials in the children's section of the library.

In the latest library board meeting, this one mother chewed out the entire library board and the library director for allowing filthy, pornographic books in the local library. (Click here)

Yes, this is pornography. Will you just get over yourselves and get rid of these books? You people are disgusting! Disgusting! How dare you have books like that in the library? You need to quit. Because you people are a den of perverts!

When they tried to cut her off, and when they told her to abide by the library code of conduct, this mother doubled down on her outrage:

You’re so civilized that you allow things like this for 12-year-olds to read. You are really beyond belief. If we didn’t have that special clause in the law, you would all be going to jail for providing this stuff to children.

The special clause is the obscenity exemption, which allows libraries and schools to push all kinds of filth on children under the banner of "education."

This is the kind of outrage that I was hoping to see from more parents in the South Bay in Los Angeles County. I was really hoping that parents would get this angry, outraged enough that they would confront the evil in the local libraries and the local schools. Sadly, too many of the parents wanted to stay civil, they wanted to ensure that their friendships with local groups did not get jeopardized. All too many of the parents were A-OK with homosexuality and transgenderism, just "don't push it on the kids ...." What an abusive outrage!

It just sickened me, and I got so tired of this cowardice. In contrast to the relative weakness of parents in Los Angeles County, I am glad to see parents in Idaho, Virginia, and elsewhere rising up with unfettered vehemence, demanding an end to this perversion in the local libaries. They are targeting the staffmembers that allow this trash in the libraries, as well, which is all the more important!

Idaho MassResistance: Parents Go Off on Library Board over LGBT/Pornography in the Library

Here’s how to confront your local Library Board when they push pornography on children.

Telling the harsh truth that no one wants to hear.

“You’re perverts. If there wasn’t a loophole in the law you’d all be in jail. You are porn purveyors to kids.”

VIDEO: Confronting Idaho Library Board over porn for children (6 min 1 sec)

During times like these, a strong dose of hard truth is the first step to success.

Across the country, anguished parents have been pleading with their local library boards to remove a growing tide of obscene and very graphic books – many with homosexual and transgender themes – that are written to sexualize little children and young teenagers.

In Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (just east of Spokane WA), parents have been complaining for months to the local library board about the explicit sexual books in the children’s and teen sections. As in many other parts of the country, the majority of the Board members have either ignored them or have been outwardly hostile and intimidating.

The Library Board (officially called the Community Library Network Board of Trustees ) includes six members, plus the Library Director. Four of the members, including the Chairman, support the obscene children’s books and impede any internal criticism of them. The other two members are shocked at the books but are routinely overruled and silenced by the others.

Over the past year, parents there reached out to MassResistance for help. We recently had a meeting with them about boldly using the truth to deal with the other side’s lies and intimidation. It’s certainly made an impression!

A meeting the Board won’t quickly forget!

The July 18 meeting of the Library Board definitely did not go as they expected (see video above).

Not surprisingly, the meeting began with an attack on the parents. The Library Director presented a formal “rebuttal” to the parents’ complaints about some books during the previous Library Board meeting.

The Library Director said that even though the parents may find part of a children’s book “shocking or provocative,” that needs to be taken “in the context of the entire book.”  That is, when the parents complained, they were taking things “out of context” from the supposedly positive message of the whole book. (This is a talking point frequently used by pornographers and LGBT activists.)

When the Library Director finished, one of the dissenting Board members asked her for a clarification about one of the books she was referring to:

The book Tricks is all about 15-year-old prostitutes. You’re not disturbed by the fact that it encouraged kids to be OK with their fathers molesting them, and then be prostitutes? Is that really what a library is for? This is also a question for the rest of this Board.

But rather than allow that discussion to continue, the Board Chairman then abruptly cut her off, saying, “This isn’t what this portion [of the meeting] is for.”

The parents take over …

After that came the public comments section of the meeting. There were two mothers who had come to speak.

The first mother first described a “North Idaho Pride Alliance” event the previous month where this same Community Library Network was on the panel. Parents who opposed the sexualization of children were described as “white supremacists, hypocrites, haters, and book-burners.” She continued, “So I’ll illustrate an example of what we oppose.”

She then began reading excerpts from an extremely pornographic sexual novel for young teenagers. She noted that the library carries three copies of that book. The book contained graphic sexual acts among kids and very profane language – truly revolting to hear. (You can hear her read it in the video above.)

As she read it, any normal person in the room would have been sickened. But the Chairman, her cohorts on the Board, and the Library Director appeared unaffected, with bored looks on their faces.

ALT TEXT While the mother was reading out loud the sickening and profane passages of of kids' sexual acts from the book in their library, the Library Board members looked completely boared and uninterested.

“You people are nothing but perverts…”

Then the fireworks started. The non-reaction by the Library Board leaders became too insulting to take. The mother who was reading the book stopped and yelled at them, “This is pornography.”

Suddenly the other mother stood up and yelled at the Board:

Yes, this is pornography. Will you just get over yourselves and get rid of these books? You people are disgusting! Disgusting! How dare you have books like that in the library? You need to quit. Because you people are a den of perverts!

The Chairman told her to leave the room, but she continued. She walked over to the Library Director and said, “How dare you talk about context?” The director started to answer, “Our code of conduct …” The mother shot back, “Oh, you’re so civilized, aren’t you?”

She then turned to Board members again:

You’re so civilized that you allow things like this for 12-year-olds to read. You are really beyond belief. If we didn’t have that special clause in the law, you would all be going to jail for providing this stuff to children.

The Chairman interrupted, “Thank you. That’s enough.”

But it wasn’t enough. She continued:

I’m sick of you. This is disgusting. This little town is full of innocence and you’re ruining it with your smut. You’re just disgusting.

She sat down and the first mother continued with her testimony.

The definition of pornography according to Merriam-Webster is: The depiction of erotic behavior as in pictures or writing intended to cause sexual excitement.”

Label me what you like. But you are porn purveyors to kids, which makes you complicit in the degeneracy and degradation of society. Thank you.

You could quickly tell that the Library Board leaders were clearly stunned and upset. One of them seemed on the verge of crying. Apparently, no one had ever talked to them that way. It definitely affected them.

Yet they didn’t respond at all. They simply went on to the next item on their meeting’s agenda.

But now the tide is changing in Coeur d’Alene. The focus of the parents of the community – and their wrath – will now be on the library officials, not the books. We fully expect that there will be some changes coming up before too long.

ALT TEXT When we watched the entire meeting, we noticed that at the beginning one of the Library Board members refused to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why are we not surprised?

Final thoughts

Conservatives don’t seem to realize what they’re up against. Normal people simply don’t do these things to children.

The second mother was right. There’s no polite way to describe it: People like this are perverts. The problem is not the books. It’s the people who are putting them on the shelves for children.

What normal library officials would participate in a revolting event run by a radical homosexual group, where local parents who oppose sexualized children’s books are denounced as “white supremacists, hypocrites, haters, and book-burners”?

Public libraries used to be safe, nurturing, and educational places for children. But in recent years libraries have attracted more and more repulsive and dysfunctional people as employees and governing board members – who often appear to be battling their own sexual issues.

And they would be in jail except for state laws made decades ago exempting schools and libraries from the child obscenity laws. (Those laws were intended only to allow for the nudity in artwork, and assumed that librarians were normal, ethical people with common sense.)

Unfortunately, the conservative movement is invariably too timid to do what’s necessary and tell it like it is – and force change. They are easily intimidated by the Left’s ridiculous arguments portraying them as “book burners” and “censors,” and accusing them of violating children’s “right to read” – all of which are easily countered.
