Do you know what time it is? Too many Republicans still think it’s the 80’s and 90s, when our biggest fights with the left were over marginal tax rates. Let’s take the temperature of our country: The United States of America, the greatest nation on earth, is flailing. President Biden is clearly not running his administration, but is a figurehead for an unelected and unknown group of bureaucrats who are making decisions that affect the whole world. We continue to fight endless foreign wars, sending billions of dollars in aid even as our own countrymen suffer. Leaders in both parties are handing out blank checks to continue a deadly war in Europe even as U.S. citizens continue to face repercussions of recent disasters. Inflation continues to consume the savings of regular families, and the costs of groceries, gas, and housing make a middle class life difficult for more and more Americans. Schools continue their race to the bottom. Graduation and literacy rates are plummeting, no matter how much taxpayer money is pumped into the system. Woke ideology is being pushed in our schools, resulting in children who cannot read or write, but can recite all the leftist articles of faith. In fact, schools cannot even define “man” and “woman” anymore, and encourage children to explore a so-called gender spectrum that ends with permanent mutilation to their own bodies. Depression and anxiety are off the charts, marriage is becoming outdated, and our birth rate is far below replacement level. Relationships between people have deteriorated, replaced by relationships with technology. Children are growing up in a world where online has almost entirely replaced real life. Faith has suffered too. America was once a Christian nation, but the percentage of people who claim a religious faith has fallen drastically. Faith has been replaced by personal truths, political crusades, and endless victimhood. At the top, the administrative state is out of control, ruling our nation with no accountability. Intelligence agencies, once tasked with protecting the American people, now persecute them for their political positions. The southern border is wide open, not only letting in untold crime and drugs, but making a mockery of our legal immigration system. Free speech, once sacred to all Americans, is now derided as right wing extremism as the government partners with Big Tech to censor conservatives. Now, do you see what time it is? Those who call conservatives “radicals” just don’t get it. They bury their heads in the sand, pretending that today’s challenges are simply political, rather than existential. As former Trump security advisor Michael Anton put it in 2016, we are the passengers on Flight 93, our country has been hijacked, and we are going to crash if we don’t stop it now. But there is good news! Thousands of regular American men and women are waking up to reality every day. They’re desperately looking for leaders who will show them how they can take back their country. The Idaho Republican Party is raising those leaders as we speak. We are restoring a sense of self governance and a belief in the vision of our founders. The cure for the years of horrific damage to our republic is patriotic men and women like you getting involved in the political process. If you want to maintain the conservative values in this state, you need to join the Republican Party today. The hour is late, but America can and will be restored. It won’t happen without your help.

Cancel Culture: Republican Club of Laguna Woods Accepts Men in Dresses, Rejects Biology, Cancels MassResistance

Well, the decline and fall of the California Republican Party continues unabated.

The CAGOP has liberals masquerading as Republicans running the party brass. The whole apparatus has turned into a patronage operation. Fewer party leaders are actually interested in running for office, or in winning elections, shaping the culture, turning California into a livable state once again.

Instead, they continue to pander and cave to the Left, turning themselves into Democrat-lite. Why vote for the Lite version when you can go all in and vote for the Democrat Party completely?

The CAGOP top brass is interested in watering down the party platform even further. They want to cave on the fight for life, marriage, family, etc. I am sure in a matter of time they will start saying "It's OK to modify Prop 13" and "Guns aren't really that important."

At any rate, the latest sign of this tragic trend occurred for me earlier this month. To get the whole story, I have to go back to July, 2023, when I attended the latest Orange County Republican Assembly picnic, based in Stanton, CA.

One would think that the most conservative Republicans attend this event. The "Who's Who" of conservative activists, what few remain in California, often show up to this program and tell everyone how to keep fighting the good fight. One of the attendees, the husband of a city councilwoman in South Orange County, heard that I work for MassResistance, and he was really excited to meet me. I eventually connected him with our President, Brian Camenker, because he wanted to speak with him. Why? MassResistance had presented key oppo research to Republican voters in 2008 and 2012 telling them to reject Romney at all costs!

Fast forward a decade later, and conservatives like this man were still grateful for the work that our organization had accomplished!

Then another club leader, Pat Micone of the Republican Club of Laguna Woods, met with me. We talked about a number of great things, including MassResistance's fight against the LGBT agenda in all of its forms. It really seemed that we had a lot of great things in common. She even invited me to give a presentation to her club, the Republican Club of Laguna Woods, about MassResistance!

They suggested that I give a presentation on the first Friday in September. I was prepared for that date, and I started putting together a key presentation for them just a week before. They contacted me, and they said that their calendar was actually going to be full for that day, so they suggested that I give my presentation in October.

Here were the first remarks that I received from Pat Micone, just before I sent them my PowerPoint presentation:

I sent them my full presentation, which talks about MassResistance, our goals, our efforts, our effectiveness in fighting the culture war against the LGBT agenda in all of its forms. In that presentaiton, I also went after so-called LGBT "Republicans," and pointed out that for any political party, or any political movement, to be effective, you have to stand for truth, tell the truth, fight for the truth, and not give into lies.

I then received this response from Pat:

She acknowledged that the PowerPoint presentation that I sent to her was good!

She then comes forward and shares with me that one of the members of the Republican Club of Laguna Woods is a man in a dress. The fact that Pat Micone described this man as a "transgender woman" right away was really disturbing. Whatever happened to standing for truth? I wonder if Pat Micone, who is a woman, can even define "What is a woman?"?

Notice how in the response above Pat Micone insists on calling this man in a dress "a woman," and that "she" is a good person .... and "getting active in our Republican [sic]"

First of all, there is nothing good about a man stealing and deceiving the general public, calling himself a "woman." There is nothing good about a group of people, or a community, or a country for that matter, celebrating someone who lives in a delusion, engages in deception, and make everyone go along with the dysfunction.

I also found it particularly galling that they added he had been a "transgender woman ... for 30 years," as if that makes the whole thing better. It doesn't matter how long a disordered, confused individual pretends to be something that they are not. A man cannot become a woman, and a woman cannot become a man.

One would think that the Republican Club of Laguna Woods would have some integrity on this issue. After all, one of their previous guests was key Epoch Times commentator Siyamak Khorrami, who has not been afraid to tell the truth about many problems in the state of California:

This is total madness. And this is in a Republican club in what used to be "conservative" Orange County. Congressman William Dannemeyer must be rolling over in his grave. As for Congressman Robert "B-1 Bob" Dornan, it's no surprise that he moved to Virginia and stayed there at this point. What real conservative Republican would want to sit around and watch not only the state of California, but the so-called conservative opposition party collapse into a morass of liberal irrelevance?

So, the Republican Club of Laguna Woods is willing to sacrifice truth so that they could have another member. Really?

What's next? Will the Republican Club of Laguna Woods accept Democrats? Perhaps they already have  ...

At any rate, here came the final response from Pat:

Why did I get this message? Pat Micone had been so excited to have me present to her club. She was interested in my story, she was aware of my views on key issues. Then all of a sudden, she and her club said: "No thanks. Hit the road." 

Why?

They didn't want to offend the man in a dress. They probably have out-homosexual members of their club, too. And worse yet, they are worried about offending the weakened and liberalized Republican Party of Orange County. They probably feared that diminishing club would cut off what few remaining privileges remain for them if they had me speak.

This the California Republican Party, folks. This is the state of the Orange County Republican Party, too, especially in South Orange County, one of (what used to be) the most conservative sections of the most conservative county in California, if not the entire United States.

How demoralizing!

But I refuse to give up standing for what is right. It's time for activists to stand up to all of these lies, and if necessary start their own movement to get people elected to local and higher office. These "Republican" clubs are becoming a joke, a bunch of people who sit around, eat a nice lunch (or dinner), listen to a speaker tell them how terrible Democrats are and how bad things are in California, and then ... go back to doing nothing; and along with their quiescence, they invite confused men wearing dresses and call them "good people."

When does the insanity stop?! Are older adults so cowardly now, that they refuse to stand up to a confused man and tell him: "You are not a woman!"?

ICYMI: DeSantis Stands Out Against LGBT Issues

 

My Facebook post from 2020 summarizes all the good things about Governor Ron DeSantis in the fight against the LGBT agenda. I have also made current additions below, which are in bold:

DeSantis is taking a stronger stance against the LGBT agenda than President Trump.

1. DeSantis repealed LGBT "protections" in Florida's government on his first day in office.

2. He vetoed funding for LGBT "training" in the Florida state budget. The legislation was supermajority GOP in 2022, and they wanted to push LGBT!

3. He refused to promote or discuss the homosexuality aspect when comemorating the Pulse Nightclub Massacre. He even cut off funding to promote a pro-gay plaque for that event.

4. He signed off on the bill to keep boys out of girls' sports without blinking. Noem caved, and Abbott dragged his feet. DeSantis gave the most stunning, stirring defense against transgenderism: "Are we going to be a society based on truth, or based on deceit?"

5. He does not celebrate "PRIDE" month. Still has not.

6. He signed off on the "Don't Say Gay" bill. No one should be talking about homosexuality or transgenderism in the classroom.

He has signed off on the parents rights legislation to cover K-12!

7. He signed off on legislation requiring people (not just students) to use bathrooms based on their biology, not their lunacy.

8. He signed off on comprehensive legislation to end sex mutilation of minors AND require adults to sign off on recognition of dangers associated with sex mutilation of they choose to go through with it.

9. He has pushed back on all the Critical Theory garbage destroying colleges, which is founded and saturated with LGBT.

10. He forced the AP (Advanced Placement) tests to remove Queer Theory from their exam on African-American studies.

This man is a pro-family powerhouse. I want him to be the next President of the United States!

 As soon as the bill was passed by the Kyrgyzstan Parliament, the leftist media attacked it for keeping LGBT "information" from children. But the pro-family momentum was there and the President signed it into law.

Here is an international story that we’re happy to report, in contrast to all the negative news from around the world.

Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia located between China and Kazakhstan. It was part of the USSR before declaring its independence in 1991. It is approximately 90% Muslim and very conservative on family issues.

The LGBT agenda pushed in by foreign money

Starting in 2019, Kyrgyzstan’s pro-family movement began protesting the LGBT agenda coming into their country. It was being pushed through foreign NGOs (non-governmental organizations) and foreign non-profits. The Kyrgyzstan government was simply allowing it to happen, and people were outraged.

MassResistance joins the fight

As we reported, in December 2022, the Kyrgyzstan pro-family movement became aware of a U.S. State Department grant to a Kyrgyzstan LGBT organization with broad plans to promote the normalization of homosexuality and transgenderism and to transform the country’s culture.

The pro-family people were shocked and incensed at this. They reached out to MassResistance for help. It was decided to communicate a strong message against this to the top government officials – to halt this funding and its agenda. Since they knew some members of the Parliament, it was decided to create a video which would be presented to the Kyrgyzstan president, Sadyr Japarov.

They asked Arthur Schaper, our Field Director at MassResistance, to create the video message. They felt that since Arthur is an American, he would have more credibility in imploring them to counter the U.S. State Department’s actions. In February 2023, Arthur made the video. They quickly translated it into the Kyrgyz language and began sending it to their allies in the government and fellow pro-family activists.

The message spreads!

Over the next few months, the MassResistance video made a huge splash across Kyrgyzstan and other countries in Central Asia.

As we reported, on March 14, a prominent podcaster in the neighboring country Kazakhstan featured MassResistance's message, then a few weeks later she interviewed Arthur on her show. On March 28, a professor of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences published an article on a Kyrgyzstan site reacting to Arthur’s warning. The video’s message was also covered on several Central Asian news sites, and even a prominent Russian web magazine.

 This prominent podcaster in Kazakhstan featured MassResistance's message. Her audience was shocked at what they learned.

The government responds – and passes a landmark child protection bill!

The video also made a big splash politically. The Kyrgyzstan activists sent it to nearly every government official. And they demanded some action. As a result, legislators began taking a stand to stop pro-LGBT funding from coming into the country!

But the real problem wasn’t just the funding grants coming in. It seemed as if there was a Western-based LGBT propaganda war targeting the country’s children coming from all angles: books, social media, Big Tech, the leftwing media, and local “gay” organizations. But with the relentless work by the activists, the politicians were finally being forced to recognize that.

In June came a huge breakthrough. A strong bill protecting children from LGBT propaganda and other destructive agendas made its way through the Parliament and was passed on June 22. All that needed to happen was for the President to sign it.

In particular, the bill attacks a mainstay of the LGBT agenda. It bans “denying family and traditional social values, promoting non-traditional sexual relations and forming disrespect for parents or other family members.” Moreover, it broadly applies to media and even social media.

Not surprisingly, as soon as it passed in Parliament, the leftist media in the region immediately started attacking the bill, saying it was “a crude effort at censorship” and an attempt to stop children’s “access to information.” They complained it is intended to “marginalize minority communities.” They urged the President not to sign it.

But on August 15, our Kyrgyzstan MassResistance leader emailed us with the exciting news:

Our team has succeeded in passing the law. Yesterday Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan signed a law aimed at banning propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations in the country. The new law amends existing legislation to create a safer information environment and protect children and adolescents. This includes a ban on the dissemination of information that denies family and traditional values in the media. Violators will be held liable in accordance with the Kyrgyz Code of Offenses.

According to press reports, the country intends to work with Facebook and other Big Tech companies to ensure their compliance with the law.

The day after the President signed it into law, a prominent pro-family magazine in Krgyzstan sent out this in-your-face graphic responding to the leftist media:

The day after the President signed the bill into law, our Kyrgyzstan MassResistance leader contacted us with this request:

Could you film a video presentation about the importance of the pro-family agenda in Kyrgyzstan and send your video to me?  We will translate it into the Russian and Kyrgyz languages. Afterwards we will disseminate this video among the Russian communities on social media.

So Arthur got right to work and created another short video with a strong message of congratulations to the people of Kyrgyzstan – and urging pro-family activists to expand their great work around Central Asia. Here is the English version:

 Final thoughts

Our Kyrgyzstan leader noted this was a very courageous act by the Kyrgyzstan politicians. He told us that most of the Kyrgyz official authorities have felt they are dependent on accepting the Western LGBT agenda because of the overall financial aid from the West – and they are afraid of sanctions. That’s why no one from the Kyrgyz government and Kyrgyz Parliament has, until now, supported or financed any pro-life or pro-family projects.

But this time the pressure to protect children won! It’s a great victory.

Loser Jean Adelsman: Lying Hypocrite, Sore Loser (Trump Wannabe?)

 

Jean Adelsman ran against incumbent Torrance city councilman Aurelio Mattucci in 2022. She was the liberal candidate who pretended to be "bipartisan." She called herself "purple" on her website.

Of course, she lost. She's not on the city council dias today (thank goodness!)

She attempted to play nice shortly after the election, even reaching out to Aurelio briefly to have coffee with him.

That obviously went nowhere.

But she doesn't want to go away ...

Here we are now. Jean wants to recall Aurelio ... and Jon Kaji, too?

Why, now?

She and other wagging tongues in town say that it's due to Kaji and Mattuci's opposition to extending the LA Metro into Torrance. But let's get serious about this: they don't like the fact that a more conservative, a more principled set of politicos is now serving the city on the city council.

That bothers them.

They don't like the fact that the current mayor didn't kiss all the brass rings, from commissions to public sector unions, to become the next mayor of the city. He didn't go through the usual "Torrance Way" to become the next head of state for the city.

The same thing applies to Kaji, of course. He didn't kiss rings and glad-hand the "Good Ol' Boys" in Torrance in order to get elected. That bothers some people in The Balanced City.

It seems to bother Jean, as well.

But what about Aurelio? Why don't they like him? He did sit on commissions, and he participated in a number of city events. He even took pictures with local Congressmen Henry Waxman and Maxine Waters at one time.

They don't like that he speaks his mind, and that he wants--and gets--results. He has certainly disrupted business as usual, and he does not "play nice" with some people.

All of these reasons are not reasons at all. They are embittered excuses from sore losers who don't like the fact that creeping liberalism, and big-spending wastrelism are no longer the order of the day. One can be sure that the local Democratic Party is all over this, too. Jimmy Gow got stomped on--TWICE--after spending time and money and collecting every endorsement from every who's-who in the LA County Democrat zoo. 

He even posted non-stop about me on the Torrance Democratic Club Facebook page last year!

Now, what is it about Jean Adelsman that makes her a lying hypocrite?

One of the voters in District Five made it plain as day:

Jean didn't support the recall of pro-criminal district attorney George Gascon becqause "she didn't believe in recalls." Now she suddenly believes in recalls? Really?

And she says that part of the reason for the recall is that Aurelio and others are opposing the extension of the LA Metro into Torrance. For the record, I confess that I supported this move, and did nothing it would be a big deal to have an extension of the metro rail from Redondo Beach to Torrance. But five years later, and with the rising crime, and the worsening conditions on the LA Metro, the fact that the Board of Supervisors have removed heavy police presence to protect riders on the Metro, and the fact that fewer people are using public transit, I am now inclined to oppose it.

So, Jean wants the LA Metro, she seems so upset about the current council opposing its extension.

And yet ...

Pamela Combar calls out Jean Adelsman for not even showing up to ANY OF THE MEETINGS on the proposed extension!

In short, Jean is making up excuses. She is a lying hypocrite and a sore (liberal) loser who can't stand the fact that she got beat by a stronger candidate who, despite almost every political force against him, prevailed in his re-election bid.

You know, for a lady who hates Trump so much, she is sure starting to sound a like like him,

She lost by a very slim margin in 2022, just as Trump did because of slim margins in key states in 2020.

She is belly-aching about losing, the same way she bellyaches about Trump, who contested his loss in 2020.

She is trying to overturn a legitimate election, and yet she criticizes Trump for doing the same thing regarding Election 2020 (for the record, it do believe that the election was stolen, but a big part of it was his own fault. See here).

She is all in on big government transportation projects, just like Trump.

She is talking about "Take Back Torrance," kind of like how Trump campaigned on "Make America Great Again." But she wants to take us backwards! Does she want Don Wilson to redline housing, too?

She is connecting with the previous Democratic establishment, the same way that Democrats have tried to attach themselves to Trump, who was connected with Democrat politicians for years. She wants to reach out to both sides, all while upsetting the Republican base. Trump wanted to make deals with both sides, he has upset his Republican base, too.

But the big thing is that she is staging an "insurrection" against city hall and trying to remove two duly, lawfully elected people from Torrance city council. It sure sounds like Trump when he shouted "Fight Like Hell!" on January 6th, 2021, but a handul of Antifa miscreants broke windows and assaulted police officers.

Still, the fact that she can't give up complaining aout losing ... yet at the same time she thinks Donald Trump lost and shouldn't complain at all. Wow, how the tables have turned in Torrance!
