TRAVIS IN THE NEWS CA POLITICAL REVIEW: Breaking Poll: Travis Allen Only Republican Candidate That Can Make Run Off Travis Allen's support stands at 9%, more than double the support of his nearest Republican rival John Cox, who has dropped to 4%. The support for Travis Allen is more than the combined support for his two Republican opponents, John Cox and Doug Ose, who stand at 4% and 2%. LA TIMES: Travis Allen leads John Cox in tea party straw poll after first GOP debate in California governor's race The debate took place in front of more than 200 members of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots at a barbecue restaurant in Mentone. Prior to the debate, Allen had the support of 64.6% of attendees who voted, compared with 11.4% for Cox, said John Berry, a cabinet member with the group. LA TIMES: GOP candidate for governor Travis Allen says he hopes to tap into California's 'silent supermajority' "California doesn't have to be this way. California used to be the greatest state in the nation," Allen said. "We've been run in the wrong direction, and it's about time we changed that." TRAVIS ALLEN VS. JORGE RAMOS In the first televised debate of the campaign, liberal Univision anchor Jorge Ramos challenged Travis by asking if he was with President Trump or the State of California.
