"Heartless" Dinesh"? No, a Hearty Response to Sob Story Guilt Trips Trying to Take Rights Away

So, Dinesh D'Souza is getting ripped up over this tweet:
The kids are learning that a ban on assault weapons failed in the Florida state legislature.

Deal with it.

The rampant emotionalism perpetuated by the hyped-up left-wing media is not going to work anymore.

We have seen too much derangement from people on the left, and now they want to go further and chip away at gun rights. This argument is a waste of time. Gun control measures are still in place even in these pro-firearm places. What's the point of allowing men and women to own a firearm, when they are not allowed to discharge the firearm to protect life and property in key locations?

The answer to the ruthless domestic terrorism of Nikolas Cruz is not to disarm more law-abiding citizens and making them easy targets for ruthless, evil people.

The solution is an expansion of concealed carry, the abolition of gun-free zones, and I would hope a full enactment of constitutional carry. No one should be deprived of their sacred right to self-defense just because a bunch of kids weep in front of a legislative committee.

We are not going to be bullied by the sob stories anymore.

Shame on the gun-control fanatics who want to exploit a tragedy for the sake of an all-out assault on law-abiding gun owners and the Second Amendment.

I issued out a response, and the backlash is staggering in its stupidity. How desperate has the Left become?

There's a lot of hate which follows underneath this tweet.

But guess what? I don't care.

It's time for all of us to speak the truth and not run away from the Second Amendment debate, nor should we allow emotional extortion to dominate the discussion, either.
