Two weeks after British Columbia father Rob Hoogland was sentenced to a prison term, he has been freed and is back home! He was imprisoned for violating a “gag order” that barred him from discussing his teenage daughter’s gruesome government-supported “sex-change” procedures.

An angry judge and harsh punishment

As we recently reported, British Columbia Supreme Court Justice Michael Tammen angrily overrode a preliminary plea bargain and sentenced Rob to six months in prison (which would likely have ended up being about 4½ months) and a $30,000 fine. (We have since learned that Rob’s lawyer had rejected the final version of the plea deal, which made it easier for the judge to intervene.)

Tammen was furious that Rob had told MassResistance and others what the government is doing to his daughter – and that MassResistance had subsequently posted incriminating documents exposing the terrible behavior of the “gender clinic.” Tammen said that unless Rob were imprisoned for several months, it would “bring the administration of justice into disrepute.” This sentence is widely considered overly harsh given that it concerns a relatively minor crime and Rob is a first-time offender.

Tammen’s emotional obsession with this case and with punishing Rob is exhibited in a detailed 18-page “Reasons for Judgment” paper he wrote after the sentencing. Like the punishment he gave out, it seems rather excessive given the relatively mundane nature of the “crime.” (Note that Tammen refers to MassResistance in the document only as "MR" so that no one will look us up and see our posts!)

A new attorney takes on the appeal!

After he was jailed, Rob’s friends and family contacted one of the top young criminal-appeal lawyers in British Columbia, Attorney Vincent Larochelle, who has taken the case. Larochelle is a graduate of Oxford Law School, a Rhodes Scholar, and is considered a “rising star” in this field. His fees are coming from the money Rob raised on his GoGetFunding page.

Larochelle successfully filed an appeal for Rob, arguing that his rights were clearly violated under Canada’s Charter of Rights. On April 30, the British Columbia Court of Appeal granted the application for Rob to be released on $1,000 bail until his appeal hearing, which has been scheduled for Nov. 1, 2021.

Strict release order

However, the Court of Appeal’s Release Order has outlined several strict stipulations which Rob is required to obey during this time. These include:

1. A full and thorough reinstatement of the “gag order”: Rob may not in any way, directly or indirectly, identify himself, his daughter, or anyone else involved with his daughter’s situation by name, nor may he discuss or provide documentation about her medical status, mental health, or treatments. He also may not, through any means, identify himself as the father.
2. He must keep the peace and be of good behavior, and diligently pursue his appeal.
3. He must maintain his current employment.
4. He must remain within the province of British Columbia, and surrender his travel documents to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Rob spoke with us a few days after he got home. It was basically to let us know that he was free, because he knew we were very concerned.

He said that he intends to fully abide by all the terms of the Release Order. During the conversation, he did not identify himself by name, nor make any reference to his daughter’s situation or to any of the other people involved.

In the prison

He talked about his experience in the prison since being incarcerated after his initial hearing in March. Rob was a first-time offender who had violated a gag order – a fairly minor, non-violent crime. But Justice Tammen purposefully placed Rob in the North Fraser Pretrial Centre, which is a high-security facility for violent offenders. It has a history of being a brutal place.

It was horrible, Rob said. He was in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day. But during the one hour he was out of his cell, it was even worse. “It’s a very violent place. You had to be very careful because confrontations happened frequently. And the guards would only step in after a person gets beaten up,” he told us.

A letter from a Member of Parliament

What has happened to Rob’s daughter and the grotesque way that Rob was treated by the Court has reverberated across Canada, despite a virtual blackout by the mainstream media. (Only Canada’s alternative press, Rebel News has covered it with any consistency.)

While he was in prison, Rob received a letter from a Member of Parliament, Derek Sloan of Ontario, who is an outspoken conservative. MP Sloan was very supportive. He told Rob:

Stay Strong. The biggest changes come from government overreach like this. This is a tough time, but know that you are in the hearts and minds of many. This is a low point, but it’s things like this that will cause your plight to spread and the government to eventually break. You’re in all of our prayers.

High praise for MassResistance

At the trial, Justice Tammen blamed MassResistance’s refusal to take down the incriminating documents as a reason he was so harsh on Rob. But despite everything that has happened to him, Rob still has high praise for us. Although he was careful to speak in very general terms and not bring up specifics, Rob said that he “absolutely supports what we did” and “is glad that we stood up” to the pressure.

He added that he is angry at the few detractors of MassResistance in British Columbia, particularly the “transgender activist” Jenn Smith. Rob clearly understands the larger fight!

Final thoughts

The government of Canada has become completely out of control in its frightening oppression of citizens who do not submit to the increasingly radical and destructive LGBT movement. The appeals trial starting on Nov. 1 will likely be a landmark event. This time, Rob will have an energetic and skilled attorney with a track record for winning. Will it turn the tide? Rob is personally very upbeat about it! We’ll definitely continue to report this case.

Yes, this is coming to a library near you if you do not take a stand. This abuse of power and the corruption of children's minds must be confronted at all costs!

Insanity: Two "Transgender Men" Allow Child to Choose Gender

This is insanity on a level I have never seen before.

Transgenderism is not only a mental disorder, but it is child abuse, in that adults are not taking charge to do what is best for children, but instead are not providing neither guidance, nor wisdom, nor answers to do what is best for the child.

In the final week before the election, many people in Massachusetts still hadn’t heard much about Question 3, regarding the transgender “bathroom” law, which is up for a statewide vote. Even fewer had a sense of what was at stake -- a lunatic ideology being forced on everyone -- since both the LGBT and the pro-family “establishment” have been avoiding that key issue in their arguments.  

What’s a good way to get your message out to thousands of people in a short period of time? Highway standouts would seem obvious, but it’s amazing how few people do that these days. But in Massachusetts, which is full of packed highways, you’ve got a pretty captive audience. And our message is pretty simple. So we said, “Why not?”

The No To 3 Committee had some banners made, and people got to work on highways and Interstate overpasses across the state. And it was a lot of fun! (We got several to send us photos!)

The transgender movement is now using children in their videos to promote the acceptance of so-called "sex-change" as normal.

The radical LGBT lobby is showing their true colors – and it’s a scary picture. In Massachusetts they are promoting the gruesome concept of “transgender children” in their advertisements. They hope this will persuade people to vote to preserve a statewide Orwellian transgender “bathroom bill” law.

This law requires public accommodations (and therefore the general public) to validate the irrational and destructive transgender ideology. It forces people to deny biological reality. It should be overturned with a "NO" vote on Question 3.

The gruesome video

Last week the LGBT advocates began promoting a video (which they’re also using in their fundraising emails and as a TV commercial) featuring a family with a mother, father, and two girls. But one of the girls has “transitioned” and now says she’s a boy.  "Ian was born a girl but always knew he was a boy," says a video caption. Although it appears that puberty blockers and male hormones have altered her features and lowered her voice a bit, she is still a girl despite her boy’s clothes and stylish male haircut.

The message is that it’s the girl’s “civil right” that the public be forced to treat her as a boy – because it’s the “right” thing to do. The law is thus portrayed as "protecting children."

It’s very slick and psychologically well crafted. But let’s look at what’s really happening in the background that the LGBT movement won’t talk about.

So-called “gender transition” is child abuse

As we documented as far back in 2007 in our Boston Children’s Hospital reports, the medical procedures used for these so-called "gender transitions” are horrific and experimental. Young children are given “puberty-blocking” drugs that not only stop puberty from taking place, but render the child sterile for life. Next, they are given opposite-sex hormones. Then, surgeries are often performed: breasts and genitals are removed, while body parts may be “sculpted” to resemble those of the opposite sex. It is ghoulish. In order to maintain this charade, opposite-sex hormones must be taken indefinitely (with long-term health risks).

In 2011 the Boston Globe wrote about these 14-year-old identical twin boys, one of whom had "become" a girl. For the past three years his parents had him undergo powerful puberty-blocking drug treatments. As a result, the boy was five inches shorter than his brother and had some female-like features. This was to be followed by series of female hormone injections and ultimately operations to remove male body parts and "create" female-imitating body parts - which would leave him sterile for life. This was celebrated as medical "progress."

What we do know is that responsible medical people, as well as former transgenders themselves, tell us emphatically that this does not solve the underlying psychological problems. It generally only makes them worse, and makes people more (not less) suicidal. Suicide attempts and deaths are sky-high for the “transgender” population.

Last year, Dr. Quentin Van Meter, an endocrinologist at Johns Hopkins University who worked in their gender transition medical group, gave a shocking account of what really happens to children who go through this, in his speech The Terrible Fraud of Transgender Medicine.

In Massachusetts: Vote “NO” on Question 3

As the Nov. 6 election gets closer, this kind of truth needs to be told – not suppressed.

It is Question 3 on the ballot. A “yes” keeps the current law as it was passed and signed by the GOP governor. A “no” repeals it. The current law makes it a crime for anyone, punishable by fines and possible jail time, not to treat cross-dressing men as if they were real women (or vice-versa) -- in any public accommodation, including locker rooms, restrooms, bars, restaurants, etc. It is Orwellian, and was crafted to force people to accept the transgender agenda.

As we recently reported, MassResistance activists in Massachusetts have formed a “No to Queston 3” official ballot committee. There is already another ballot committee fighting this that focuses on the bathroom issue and men going into women’s restrooms. Our committee will focus on telling the truth about the transgender agenda that this bill forces on the public.

What’s disappointing is that our “No to 3” committee has gotten tepid (or worse) support by establishment conservatives in Massachusetts. They have said that this approach ruins their more politically correct “messaging” that their “focus groups” approve of. We believe that there’s room for both sides, and a necessity to educate the public.

We are dealing with a forced imposition of a lunatic ideology on everyone, with prosecution under the law as a hammer. The LGBT movement has a lot of money, a honed propaganda machine, and support by politicians, corporations, and the entire liberal establishment.

We’re all pushing hard toward Nov. 6!

MassResistance Call to Arms to Stop Transgenderism in Massachusetts

Dear MassResistance friends, activists, and supporters:

 

As you all know, Governor Charlie Baker signed into law the infamous transgender “bathroom” bill. This now makes it a crime for anyone to even comment when “transgenders” use opposite-sex facilities in any public accommodation – including bathrooms, locker rooms, restaurants, etc.

Luckily, on November 6, we will have the opportunity to vote OUT this law. It is Question 3 on the ballot.

 

But right now, we’re in big trouble. All the polls have the law PASSING by at least double digits.

 

Why is that? A big reason is that the LGBT movement says that this is a “civil rights” issue.  That’s their mantra. Civil Rights. And our side doesn’t have an answer for that. Frankly, it’s because our people are scared to death of offending the “transgender community.”

 

It’s much easier for conservatives to say that it’s NOT about transgenders, but about male predators going into restrooms to prey on helpless girls. There may be some of that. But the public isn’t buying it as a reason to vote against that law – and violate the “civil rights” of people.

 

Come on, this should be a much easier fight to win…

 

MassResistance has decided that someone needs to jump into this battle with the truth – that people can easily understand.

 

To start with, it’s not about “civil rights” – it’s about mental health.  Nobody is saying that, but it needs to be said over and over. So-called “transgenders” really do need help. All legitimate research shows that pandering to their condition only makes things worse for them. Instead, they take hormones and amputate healthy body parts.

 

And that’s just the start. This law forces people to believe a lie. Men can never become women. Women can never become men. Period. Anything else is fantasy. People should be able to say that without being charged with a crime.

Transgender Insanity Redoubled: Scarlett Johansson Forced Out of Trans Role

This is how insane the Left has become.

They are devouring each other. They are demeaning some of their most ardent advocates because they are too white, too straight, or too "mainstream." When institutions wanted to accommodate these radical Marxist movements, little did they realize that there would be no assuaging or pleasing this perennial, preening, demanding, and dangerous crybabies.

Scarlett Johansson induced a massive backlash when she announced taking on a role as a transgendered person.

Scarlett Johansson announced on Friday she is dropping out of the starring role in Rub & Tug, a film about a transgender man who ran an extensive prostitution ring during the 1970s and '80s.

After an onslaught of criticism over the past week, actress Scarlett Johansson announced on Friday she will be pulling out of the starring role in Rub & Tug, a film based on the true story of a transgender man who ran a ring of prostitution fronts.

It's called "acting." Someone does not have to be suffering from a mental disorder in order to portray someone suffering from a mental disorder.

"In light of recent ethical questions raised surrounding my casting as Dante Tex Gill, I have decided to respectfully withdraw my participation in the project," Johansson said in a statement to Out.com.

What? Ethical issues? The real ethical issues revolve around the basic lie that transgenderism should be treated like a civil right rather than a destructive lie.

"Our cultural understanding of transgender people continues to advance, and I've learned a lot from the community since making my first statement about my casting and realize it was insensitive," the actress added.

Oh brother? Insensitivity abounds with the perennial victims who have gotten away with blaming everyone else for their feelings.

Transgenderism should not be accommodated in any way, shape, or form. But this cowardice is par for the course with Hollywood. Movie executives did nothing when Harvey Weinstein and company were raping women, but they will do everything in their power to make sure that gender dysphorics don't feel offended.

Oh My!

She lamented turning down the starring role but acknowledged it has served as a catalyst for a broader conversation about transgender actors in Hollywood. "While I would have loved the opportunity to bring Dante's story and transition to life, I understand why many feel he should be portrayed by a transgender person, and I am thankful that this casting debate, albeit controversial, has sparked a larger conversation about diversity and representation in film," she said.

How crazy did the hyperbole become?

Actress Trace Lysette aired her frustrations in a string of tweets, writing, "Not only do you play us and steal our narrative and our opportunity but you pat yourselves on the back with trophies and accolades for mimicking what we have lived."

That's what acting is!

Following the initial hostile reception, Johansson had defended the casting by noting several famous cisgender people had won top prizes for past performances.

This latest downfall for a Hollywood actress to play a role is good news for the pro-family movement, however.

How much longer will the general viewing public continue to view transgenderism with any kind of sympathy and respect? The movement is based on lies, and its most fervent adherents are narrow-minded whiners who want everything their way and refuse to compromise on ... anything.

Now we have to wait and see how far this demand for absolute intersectional perfection will go:

Twitter Censors Truth About Transgenderism

I don't apologize for stating the truth on any platform.

Homosexuality and transgenderism are mental disorders. These are destructive, deviant, but most important dysfunctional behaviors.

A man cannot become a woman through hormone enhancements, surgical restructuring, and behavioral modification.

The genetic code and biological structure of every human being cannot be changed with cosmetic applications of any kind.

It's astonishing to me that people are still buying into this trangenderism nonsense.

It's just plain outrageous.

Hope for the Future: Millennial Conservative Avallone vs. Liberal Hag JacklynGlenn on Transgenderism

I have written about young conservative Millennial before.

He has a handle on issues in a way that younger generations can appreciate.

His anti-PC stances and statements are refreshing and give me a lot of hope for the future. Young people have been so force-fed with the liberal, progressive lies. They are sick of it just because it's so authoritarian.

It's funny seeing his name listed on hate-group watch lists, since he's 20 years old. One would hardly think to find a Millennial (or post-Millennial?) on any list identified as a hater, racist, bigot, etc.

When it comes to liberals trying to silence bright minds, especially bright young minds, people like Hunter Avallone should take such hollow smears as a badge of honor.

I finally had the chance to catch up one a series of videos he had done, specifically targeting transgenderism and a vocal liberal YouTube personality who mocked him and attacked his video in turn.

Reversing Obama policy, Sessions says job protections don't cover transgender people

The civil rights law that prohibits discrimination in the workplace does not apply to transgender employees, Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions has decided, continuing a shift by the Justice Department against the more LGBTQ-friendly policies championed by the Obama administration.

LGBT is a hateful ideology, riddled with lies and based on anti-scientific bigotry.

All of this is just plain wrong. Men and women are not born gay, and the notion that gender dysphoria should be treated as a civil right. Transgenderism is a mental disorder, and people in bondage to this problem need help, not enabling.

Sessions reversed a 2014 decision by a predecessor, Eric H. Holder Jr., that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination based on sex, also prohibits employers from taking any actions based on a person’s gender identity.

Sex is not gender identity. Period.

It's called English. Words mean things, and words have meaning, and when lawmakers create legislation, they have to say what they mean and mean what they say, or the legislation has no value.

Although it “provides various protections to transgender individuals,” Title VII does not prohibit discrimination based on someone’s gender identity because the law, written in 1964, does not mention it, Sessions wrote in a memorandum: “ ‘Sex’ is ordinarily defined to mean biologically male or female.”

YES! Exactly.

“The Department of Justice cannot expand the law beyond what Congress has provided,” said Devin O’Malley, a Justice Department spokesman. “Unfortunately, the last administration abandoned that fundamental principle, which necessitated today's action.”

Wow, that's refreshing! For the first time in 8 years, we have a Justice Department which is not interested in departing from the true meaning of legislative language.

How sweet it is. AG Jeff Sessions is restoring language to its original meaning, which means that our liberty has received its proper, prized status once again!

Sessions went on to say that he does not “condone mistreatment on the basis of gender identity” and is not expressing an opinion as to whether Congress should change the law. As a U.S. senator, Sessions voted against a 2009 law that extended hate crime protections to sexual orientation, but he said the department would continue to “vigorously” prosecute such crimes, including ones against transgender Americans.

The point? If you are an American, no one should be hurting you. Being transgender is not a special right, however, which any government is bound to protect or respect.

The Trump administration moved early to start scuttling Obama’s transgender policies. In February, the administration revoked an Obama-era rule instructing local school districts to allow students to choose which bathrooms to use based on their gender identity.

The memo on Title VII follows another decision this summer to intervene in a discrimination case brought by Donald Zarda, a skydiving instructor in New York who claimed he was fired because he was gay. In a brief filed July 26 — the same day that President Trump announced on Twitter that transgender people would not be allowed to serve in the military — the Justice Department argued that the civil rights law did not apply to cases of discrimination based on sexual orientation.

No, they do not. Homosexuality is a behavior, not an identity. These are behaviors, and the issue of rights--meaning that the state does not interfere in your decision making--the rights metric does not apply.

Also this week, the Justice Department filed court papers defending Trump’s right to exclude transgender people from serving in the military. A suit that seeks to protect transgender soldiers is premature, the Justice Department said, because the Trump administration hasn’t come up with a final policy. The department also argues that Trump has a right to exclude transgender people from serving if he believes they would damage a military unit’s cohesion, drawing comparisons to a list of physical infirmities:

YES! The military is not a social experiment. The military is designed to protect our nation and our liberties, not to promote a social agenda--especially a destructive, perverse one.

“A variety of physical and mental conditions presumptively bar entry into the armed forces, including asthma, history of severe migraines, discrepancies in leg length resulting in a limp, or any curvature of the spine that would prevent one from wearing a uniform properly,” the court papers say.

The latest contraction of Obama’s civil rights policies drew angry denunciations from groups that work for legal protections for gay and transgender people.

TOUGH!

“It’s another example of how, under Jeff Sessions, the Justice Department is no longer in the justice business,” said Sharon McGowan, director of strategy for Lambda Legal, a civil rights group.

LIE!

Senator Sessions is a consummate professional and legal mind. He has the utmost respect for the rights of all Americans--natural rights, not special rights drawn out of thin air by the government.

McGowan, a former attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division who left after Sessions became attorney general, called the policy reversal “nothing short of heartbreaking.”

Give me a break. Justice is not about feelings, but equity and moral response.

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco was equally scathing.

As if we care what she thinks.

“From banning transgender service members to dismantling protections for transgender students, this administration has consistently and cruelly put prejudice and bigotry before the civil rights of the American people,” she said in a statement.

Please, Alzheimer's Nancy, we are not interested in your playing the hate card, the discrimination card, etc. We are on to these games, and Americans will no longer be bullied over this pretend rights and social categories. Thanks.

Final Reflection

I am so excited about this. I am so happy that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is taking the lead on protecting the rights of all Americans. He is standing up for our religious liberties. He is rejecting the latest political Emperor with No Clothes, the transgender movement.

We should all thank God every day that Sessions is the chief law enforcement officer in the United States!

On Friday, July 21, four Texas MassResistance mothers gave some of most the most hard-hitting and truthful testimony of the day before a State Senate committee.

They spoke at a packed public hearing on Bill SB3, known as the “Texas Privacy Act” by supporters and the “bathroom bill” by opponents.

Bill SB3 applies to state and local government buildings, including schools and charter schools. It requires that multi-person restrooms, locker rooms, and showers be only used by people of the same biological sex – not one’s so-called “gender identity.” In normal times this regulation would not be controversial (or even needed).

But the bill has infuriated the Left. Hundreds of people came to the State Capitol. The LGBT lobby – including an army of “transgenders,” other activists, representatives of corporations, and the well-funded national homosexual group “Human Rights Campaign” – packed the hearing room to try to stop the bill from passing. They railed about “discrimination,” “civil rights,” “suicide,” and the other usual topics.

Texas MassResistance: Standing out in the crowd

A lot of pro-family people testified, too. Most of them stuck to the “privacy” issue or other non-confrontational types of arguments. Our side tends to avoid dealing with the proverbial gorilla in the room – the subject of “transgenderism” or the radical LGBT agenda.

But not Texas MassResistance. The four mothers who testified included two former teachers and an attorney. They told the committee what no one else was willing to say.

For example:

• Allowing “transgender bathrooms” in schools is an opening for the LGBT movement to promote gender confusion in children. Some schools are already doing this and more are ready to do so. The LGBT movement has been lying to everyone for decades about their goals.
• Recognizing that “transgender rights” is a political agenda with no basis in fact. Denial of truth is neither therapeutic nor compassionate. Collaborating with it is participating in dysfunction. It is abuse of children.
• These are people have deep emotional and psychological issues. The parents talked about the success of therapy for dealing with and healing “transgender” problems, particularly with children.
• Material from American College of Pediatricians. The Texas MassResistance parents also gave the each of the Committee members written testimony by Dr. Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians (ACP), supporting thehe Texas Privacy Act. Dr. Cretella tells the medical truth about this absurd idea. “The narrative of ‘gender identity experts’ defies science and threatens all children,” she says.
• Powerful testimony by Robert Oscar Lopez, leader of Texas MassResistance. Excerpts from his written testimony was read aloud to the Committee by one of the mothers. Dr. Lopez led a “gay” lifestyle as a youth, but is now happily married (to a woman) and has children. “When they say that nobody will be harmed or inconvenienced by transgender policy, they are lying as they lied about every other pro-gay initiative in the past,” he told them.

Virtually nobody else on the pro-family side is willing to tell the truth this honestly.

This direct approach obviously sunk in. During the Texas MassResistance testimony, Committee members actually responded – with questions about the ACP and about how schools would deal with “transgender” students under this bill.

Beneath the surface, it’s mostly about the schools

The LGBT lobby and their corporate and media allies publicly talk about this being a “civil rights” and “anti-bigotry” issue, etc. But beneath the surface is a larger issue for LGBT activists.

Right now in Texas the most aggressive focus of the LGBT movement is on the public schools. In cooperation with left-wing school officials, the Human Rights Campaign is even in many elementary schools pushing “transgenderism” on the youngest children. Having “transgender” children use the opposite-sex bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers throughout the state is a huge part of their strategy.

As a result, there were several teachers, school administrators, and many others from the education establishment testifying at the Capitol that day testifying against Bill SB3. (The National Education Association is working with the Human Rights Campaign to push “transgender” inclusion in schools across the country.

After testifying, this Texas MassResistance mother was interviewed on local TV.

Testimony by the “transgenders” reveals a lot

There were lots of “transgenders” at the hearing. Almost all of them were men wearing women’s clothes. The testimony of many of them was quite sad and very revealing. They talked about the “bigotry” in society. They also talked about molestation, sexual abuse, and living very dysfunctional lives. They described feelings of suicide. They repeatedly made the point that unless their demands to use the bathroom and shower of their choice are granted, they will likely kill themselves.

All of this revealed to any observer that these people need real mental health help. For these people, being “transgender” is clearly a symptom of other tragic pain and trauma that is going on inside them.

The bill passes the Senate and goes to the House

At the end of the hearing, the Committee voted 8-1 in favor of the bill. On July 25, the bill went to the floor of the Texas Senate. After a lengthy floor debate, it passed by 21 to 10 with a few minor changes. It now goes to the Republican-dominated Texas House of Representatives, where the real battle begins.

The back story – the political battle within the Texas House GOP over this bill

Blocked by the GOP House Speaker. Bill SB3 is supported by the Governor and Lt. Governor, and a majority of the Republican-dominated Texas Legislature. It could easily pass both houses. But since the beginning of the year, the Republican Speaker of the House, Rep. Joe Straus (R-San Antonio), single-handedly refused to allow SB3 and similar bills to proceed. This has tremendously angered conservatives across Texas. They are even raising considerable money for opponents to run against Straus in the next election. It has also outraged conservative House members.

Why is the Speaker against the Texas Privacy Act? Local political observers give several reasons, including: (1) Straus gets lots of contributions from wealthy LGBT-friendly businessmen. (2) He believes the LGBT-generated propaganda that the bill will be “bad for business in Texas.” (3) He buys into the rhetoric that “transgenders will kill themselves” if they can’t use their preferred locker rooms, etc.

The current legislative session ends in three weeks on Aug. 17. It must get through the House by then. The pressure will be on the Speaker. We will continue to report on this.

On Fox News: Dr. Cretella blasts the transgender agenda vs children

A few days after her Texas testimony was given to the Texas Senate, Dr. Michelle Cretella was interviewed on the Tucker Carlson Show on national Fox News. She has continued to warn Americans about the terrible dangers that the transgender movement is inflicting on the nation’s children – much of which can cause serious and permanent medical damage.
