Them Before Us Statement on Alabama Supreme Court IVF Ruling

Them Before Us is an excellent ministry/non-profit which is fighting to put Them Before Us, i.e. fight for the NEEDS of children ahead of the desires of adults.

Their research and advocacy turned me into an opponent of in-vitro fertilization and surrogacy. Their compiled research and evidence helped solidfy the intuitive truth, that children need their Dad and Mom, not just "two parents," a revelation which correctly undermines the fraud that is same-sex "marriage."

Check out their official statement on the recent Alabama Supreme Court ruling which rules that embryos are life, living beings as well:

We applaud the Alabama Supreme Court‘s pro-child decision which recognizes and protects life in all circumstances, inside or outside of the womb.

This decision is an important step forward in holding the fertility industry accountable, including their processes which lead to the demise of around 93% of lab-created babies.

Recognizing the humanity of children at every age and stage of development is foundational to justice.

No matter how challenging our personal circumstances, the solution must never be to strip children of their fundamental rights and needs. A just society never insists that the weak sacrifice for the strong. It is adults who must sacrifice on behalf of children.

We must put Them before Us.

Revelations from The School of Life

Selection from The School of Life

What happens to a child who is not loved properly? The answer one might expect is that they start to hate the person who doesn’t give them the love they need.

Lots of people do hate their parents, do not forgive them. That is a double-tragedy.

Far from it. The reality is that the child becomes filled with shame. What is shame? A sense that one is profoundly unworthy, dirty, soiled, sinful, ugly, embarrassing - and also, in danger; a fit subject of attack and ridicule by strangers. The child is unable to redirect the blame outward: it does not ask: ‘What is wrong with my parents for not loving me adequately?’ It simply wonders in a forlorn way: ‘What have I done wrong in order to have ended up on the receiving end of my parent’s disapproval?’

This is a profound revelation, if there ever was one! Yes, children do not turn around and start blaming their parents for being terrible parents. They will instinctively, automatically start blaming themselves. It's really striking.

A primitive fear of abandonment kicks in. The child prefers to attack itself for being bad than to confront a yet more awful possibility: that it is entirely dependent for its well-being on inadequate and unkind parental figures.

This shock occured to me when I was a child. It's tough to write about, but I can share generally that I understand the sentiment.

The child searches assiduously for explanations for the lack of love it has to endure - and comes to all the wrong answers. It might conclude: ‘I have not been impressive enough.’ And therefore it may undertake enormous efforts to prove to itself and harsh outsiders that it does - nevertheless - deserve to exist. At school, it might try seven times as hard as any other child to show that it is clever and ‘good’. Later on, the shamed child might turn into the over-achieving adult who works relentlessly for money and status in order to escape appalling feelings of being invisible.

As a rule, children blame themselves for not being good children. In their minds, there is no way that "mom and dad are wrong." That is too painful, too traumatic for children, since they are so dependent on them in the first plcae.

This conflict describes what I went through when I was younger. The trauma was considerable, and quite painful. I tried my best to be a "good boy," and I hoped that that would be enough. Of course, in the real world, being a "good boy" is really not all that good in the first place. There are so many bad people doing bad things, and you have to stand against this evil in every way possible. Being "nice" never works, and we have had decades of nice around the world allow utmost evil to take precedence.

Or else, the child may go down an anti-social route and graffiti the nearby underpass, as a desperate way of giving outward form to a feeling of badness it is tortured by inside.

I did not go into this route. I did not rebel against society in such a bold fashion, that's for sure. Sometimes, I think it might have been better for me if I had rebelled more against bad teachers in high school. Some of other kids did that, AND that got better grades than I did and went to better (?) colleges than I, too.

At the very least, they were having more fun, because they were not living under law.

There is so sadly no way out from the burden of shame available either by trying to be extremely good - or extremely bad. The only solution is to work against the grain of forgetting in order to perceive, for the first time, an awful possibility that one could never perceive as a child: that one has done nothing wrong at all, that wrong was done to one.

This revelation was not at all painful for me when I realized that I have a Loving Heavenly Father who is watching out for me all the time. When I realized that I was cared for all the time, no matter what; when I learned to rightly divide the word of Truth and receive the grace of God in greater measure, it was easier for me to stand away from past experiences and look at them objectively.

And I could see, at last, that it was my parents who were wrong.

I can forgive them all their failures, and I can confront the fact that for all their holy talk and nice-nice going to church once a week, and then going to men's prayer groups or men's breakfasts on Saturdays, my dad did not know the Gospel, and my mother was in bondage to a cult.

I am so glad that I am free of their lies, and I will never have to live in bondage to them again. Thank you, Jesus!

Texas Minutes Exposes RINO Governor Greg Abbott: Dog-Tethering More Important Than Protecting Children

Gov. Greg Abbott cares more about dogs than kids. Really? Where is the legislation to ban sex mutilation of minors? This is beyond outrageous!

Good morning,

Legislators left town last week without putting in place real, broad-based property tax relief for Texans. That’s the topic explored in the One Click Survey.

But first, here is today’s Texas Minute.

Modify your email preferences.

·         But first… donors have asked how they can get extra copies of the monthly Texas Scorecard print edition to place in their business’ reception and checkout areas. It’s easy: send me an email to get started!

·         FWIW, the print edition goes to Scorecard’s donors.

Third Special Session Starts Sept. 20

·         Gov. Greg Abbott has officially set the expected third special session of the Texas legislature to commence on Sept. 20 – with redistricting leading his agenda. Brandon Waltens has the details.

·         Rounding out the rest of the governor’s agenda: protecting girls’ K-12 sports from intrusion by gender-confused boys; appropriating federal coronavirus relief money; addressing vaccine mandates (not banning)… and restrictions on dog tethering.

·         Several conservative priorities are curiously absent. Perhaps most notable is his unaddressed (abandoned?) item from the last special session to prohibit school mask mandates.

·         And what else is missing? Based on his agenda, Greg Abbott is more interested in protecting dogs from bad tethering than he is in protecting children from being forcibly coerced into gender transitioning. He’s more concerned with how dogs are treated, than providing Texans with real property tax relief. Amazing…

MA MassResistance: Hatemongers in Ludlow Harrass Parents and Children Who Want to Stop LGBT Perversion

Unhinged local leftists attack parents on social media. Claim parents who want to shield their middle school children from pornography and “transgender” persuasion are “hateful.”

Leftist attack group includes a School Board member!

These clearly dysfunctional adults even attack a student.

Part 11 in a series. (See entire series here.)

August 4, 2021
ALT TEXT A few parents were outside of a Ludlow School Board meeting supporting the family whose children were coached to identify as "transgender." This is what a local leftist immediately posted.

Using social media to viciously attack conservatives is something we’ve observed across the country. It’s time to recognize it for the façade it generally is.

Ludlow is a conservative town. Located in deep-blue Massachusetts, the community voted for President Trump in 2016 and 2020. But as in many conservative places, progressives (i.e., leftists) managed to get themselves elected to the School Board. And as we’ve reported, they have brought lurid pornographic books for children into the local middle school. Staff members there actively groom children to identify as “transgender.” They purposely keep this from parents. And the school officials fired a teacher who informed some parents what was happening to their children.

Local parents (with the help of MassResistance) organized and relentlessly opposed these abuses. Since leftists have no rational defense when they do these things, they resort to demonizing and intimidating parents. In May and June, the School Board used their public meetings to harshly attack the parents.

But as in many places around the country, the relentless barrage of anger and vitriol against those who complained was done on social media, where the bullying went on for several months. Parents were called vile names, and told that they are such terrible parents that their children should be taken away, Christianity is profaned, and more. The leftists are not shy about expressing their hatred – but call anyone who disagrees with them a “hater.”

Is it really an organic “community” reaction to the parents? No. The attackers post constantly to make it look like it’s a community-wide movement. But in Ludlow (as in most other places), it’s actually just a small group of unhinged, obsessed people, including at least one School Board member.

Who are these people? We’ve seen similar types over the years: disrupters of conservative events, vandals who damage participants’ cars, threaten people’s employers, accost you close up in your face, etc. They are sociopaths: angry, hateful people with dysfunctional lives. Normal people would not behave this way.

From time to time we have infiltrated the meetings of people who do these things. Our meetings are orderly and fairly calm. Their meetings are invariably full of shouting, profanity, and bizarre anti-social behavior.

Here are some random posts from one of the Ludlow Facebook forums:

ALT TEXT

Alex, a 10th-grade student at Ludlow High School, wrote an email to the School Board about his concern that the middle school staff was pushing extreme ideas on sex and gender to children. The leftists attacked him for speaking out:

ALT TEXT
ALT TEXT
ALT TEXT

A father and mother asked the school not to discuss "transgenderism" with their 11-year-old daughter. They said she had some emotional issues, she was in counseling, and they were handling it as a family. The leftists attacked them for that:

ALT TEXT

Occasionally, parents would try to explain their side of the story. But these people aren't interented in any kind of civil interaction:

ALT TEXT

The parents simply want to be left alone, but the leftists keep bringing up Christianity:

ALT TEXT

One parent tried to explain that this was about the school giving children pornographic books. But these people fully support giving pornography to children, and their reasoning is weird and irrational.

ALT TEXT

They found out that the parent group was meeting at a local Catholic church.

ALT TEXT

Ludlow School Board member Sarah F. Bowler is also part of the leftist attack group, posting as "Sarah Frances." Below, she suggests that the group harass the parents at their homes and follow them to their meeting at the Catholic church. (Her reference to violating privacy appears to be parents "violating" the privacy of their own children's transgender behavior.)

Ludlow School Board member Sarah F. Bowler posts as Sarah Frances (below).

More unhinged hatred from the "tolerance" crowd.

Final thoughts

What you have been reading about the Ludlow, Mass. schools is unfortunately being replicated in cities and towns across the country. What that school system has been doing to middle school children is (in the view of any normal person) reprehensible. Our side must continue to confront this and speak the truth. We will not let a small, dysfunctional group of people denigrate, humiliate, and intimidate parents and others.

The recent resignations of the middle school librarian and Superintendent - after pressure from parents - have sent a message to the lunatic “progressives.” Now, the news of what has been happening must reverberate across the community and be honestly discussed. More heads need to roll, and their agenda must be derailed. With MassResistance’s support, these parents are not backing down!

Next: The School Board stages an even more outrageous attack.

My Mother Thought Fathers Didn't Matter

Dennis Prager just released a video about the importance of fathers.

Yes, Dads matter.

When I was growing up, however, my mother gave off this perverse impression that Dads do NOT matter. She even reduced the roles and importance of fathers to "provider and protector." She also said nasty things about men in general, since she was so bitter towards her father and her husband, and of course that would slop onto me, too.

I look back on all of that abuse, and it finally all makes sense what I was going through as a kid. My mother was indeed, crazy, but more seriously, she was so bitter and angry.

During high school, our mother (my sister and I) were walking around the Old Ports o' Call in San Pedro. We stopped at one of the tables near the fish market, and she led us through another one of her legalistic Bible studies.

I remember saying to her: "It seems that moms are all that matter. Why are Dads important, then?"

I get sick to my stomach when I think about this statement. I actually said that, and at the time, I really believed that fathers did not matter. So much of the hate that had been coming out of my mother's mouth was so denigrating towards men. It was a very sad time.

Today, I know very well that fathers matter. I submit that fathers matter even more than mothers, especially considering the increased societal breakdown which we are witnessing around the world.

It was such abuse that my mother treated fathers in general with such contempt. But Dads do matter!

Rep. Greene Declares the Truth About Sex, Gets Four Times the Views on Twitter Compared to Indoctrinated Child-Abusing Mother Marie Newman

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is making waves again in Congress.

Her Congressional colleague Marie Newman tried to provoke Rep. Greene with a transgender flag placed outside of her Congressional office.

Rep. Greene pushed back, and put up a great sign:

This is the kind of boldness we need to see in Congress.

It's time to stand for truth!

And Rep. Marie Newman should be in a jail cell for abusing her SON and allowing, enabling him to be pretend to be a girl.

More Winning: Equality California Forced to Shut Down

While the world is slowing down because of the Coronavirus Crisis, I notice more silver linings resulting from this necessary pause on a world that has spun out of control.

Homosexual pandering in public, in corporate America, among political elites has taken an unprecedented hit. It's a welcome sign that there is a slow return, if not by force, to biological and moral normalcy.

In their latest eblast/news release, Equality California announced that they would be postponing their award ceremonies and shutting down operations for the time being:

Friend,

This is an unprecedented and difficult time. Even as we physically distance ourselves in the name of public health, I hope that you are binding tightly together with your LGBTQ+ and ally community virtually and leaning on one another figuratively. We’re here for each other, and nothing can change that.

Out of concern for the health of our staff, all Equality California offices were closed last Friday until further notice and our team across the state and the country will be working remotely. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you need anything.

Our California LGBTQ Leadership Summit, Sacramento Equality Awards and San Francisco Equality Awards have been postponed until future dates. It is likely that additional events may also be postponed, and we will update you as soon as any decisions are made.

Due to these postponements and other uncertainties, we expect a significant loss in revenue this quarter.

While our short-term finances are solid, it is difficult to predict at this point the longer term impact that COVID-19 will have on our organization. We are working to ensure the security of our staff and existing programs, but we will no doubt have to run a lean operation and evaluate our programming for the remainder of the fiscal year.

At a time when the primary focus is — and should be — the health and well-being of our loved ones, we understand not everyone has the ability to contribute. However, if you are seeking an opportunity to make a difference right now and have the means to help make sure our organization comes out of the COVID-19 pandemic on even footing, please consider donating HERE. >>
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for considering assisting our organization in this time of need. Though our staff is working from home, we are still educating our community about the importance of participating in the 2020 Census, work that can’t be postponed. We are still advancing our critical legislation to protect LGBTQ+ students, people living with HIV from insurance discrimination and transgender people who face violence and danger in correctional facilities. And we are still advocating for safe and supportive schools for LGBTQ+ students, fighting big tobacco’s predatory marketing on our LGBTQ+ youth, protecting those living with HIV and more. Our work to ensure everyone has access to quality, affordable healthcare from providers who understand the unique needs of LGBTQ+ people is more important than ever. Every dollar will help.
An unfortunate reality of this crisis is that LGBTQ+ people are particularly vulnerable to the health effects of COVID-19 because we are more likely to belong to the various high-risk demographic groups. Please take extra care of LGBTQ+ elders and those with underlying health issues. Visit THIS SITE for daily updates and FAQs from the California Department of Public Health. >>

Our community is resilient and this is undoubtedly a test on the fiber and fabric that bind us together. Whether it’s washing your hands, practicing social distancing or avoiding public gatherings, you have a part to play in protecting our LGBTQ+ siblings and our entire community. Stay strong. We’re in this together.

In solidarity and health,
Rick Chavez Zbur
Executive Director
Equality California

Now this is welcome news.

They had to close all their offices.

They have to postpone their award ceremonies.

Oh, and it gets better (no pun intended). From the Twitter feed of Assemblyman Kevin Kiley:

Californians across the spectrum should feel safer, knowing that the state legislature cannot induce more harm than they already have.

This is a pro-family victory in itself.

Lots of bad bills have been introduced for this legislative session.

One of them comes from the infamous LGBT activist Asm. Evan Low. He has introduced yet another foolish, perverted, elitist pro-LGBT bill, AB 2826, which would phase our department store sections for boys and girls. This is beyond madness, and the fact that this and other lawmakers are going to such lengths to impose this LGBT hegemony on private industries is very offensive.

California Globe reports:

Meanwhile, some consumer groups have already come out in opposition to AB 2826.

“Toy aisles are fine since most stores already do that and most are for anyone anyway,” said consumer advocate Grace Wayne. “But many people are upset about clothing aisles. Children’s underwear is different for certain reason like adult underwear, and there are significant differences in clothing even at a younger age. It has nothing to do with clothes color or designs but more about shape and structure of it.”

“Some others I’ve talked to are outraged because they’re afraid that this could lead to a confused gender-identity, but many of us aren’t very much concerned about that. It’s more about how clothes is designed for each gender, even at a young age. Also, children that young may not be prepared to learn about certain parts of gender differences and other similar problems.”

“This shouldn’t even b a law since most stores already do this regardless. Give it 5 years and pretty much every store is going to combine aisles anyway.”

“And then, what about Amazon? They’re online in California and they separate. Do we do it to them too?”

“It’s not about challenging the freedom of expression, it’s teaching kids that different clothing for different genders has a purpose for each sex.”

AB 2826 is due to be heard in Committee in late March.

This legislation would probably have met a slow death in a key committee, if it gets assigned a committee at all.

BUT ... the state legislature has gone into forced recess for a month!

This delay and other delays will become more commonplace, no doubt, since the legislature is closed for a month. This pause will also ensure that Asm. Evan Low cannot gut an amend one of his bills to attempt to ban reparative therapy for adults.

So much winning!

"It's Wrong for Kids, but It's OK for Adults" Is All Wrong, Not Good Enough

"For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him." (Genesis 18:19)

There are so many adults which have acquiesced to homosexuality, transgenderism, and the rest.

But they at least say "Don't force these behaviors on children." Isn't that good enough?

No, it isn't.

Regardless of whether homosexual acts are consensual or otherwise, they are harmful, they are wrong.

Our communities, our cultures, our country needs to say "No" to what is wrong and "Yes" to what is good.

This doctrine of "Live and Let Live" does not work when those who want to live in sin insist that others celebrate the sins they live in. That is the natural of homosexuality and transgenderism. Those who engage in such behaviors are walking out of concert with God's natural law, and they are rejecting the law of the Spirit of Life.

No, it's not enough for people to protest these behaviors being exhibited around children, but to say that they are completely appropriate around adults.

Adults, parents in particular, have a responsibility to train their children in the ways to go (Proverbs 22:6)

Parents, adults cannot retreat into Drag Queen entertainment as if it's "no big deal", then get shocked and outraged that cultural marxists and LGBT bigots are using that deveiant form of entertainment to indoctrinate children.

It's time to call out the whole LGBT Agenda as wrong. Simple as that.

Why Drag Queen Story Hour is Wrong (HELP ME!)

Why is Drag Queen Story Hour Wrong?

Where does one begin?

Grown men wearing garish women's clothing, pretending to be women -- what could go wrong, right?

No Drag Queen Story Hour!

Well it's wrong, and it is not right!

1. Adult entertainers should not be around children. Period.

2. Drag shows are filled with illicit, explicit sexual contact. Why would we want this crap around our children? A casual look over the vast, vast majority of drag queens reveals some of the most salacious, disgusting, and completely inappropriate content!

3. Why are our taxpayer dollars paying to promote adult entertainment and entertainers to ... children?

4. Drag Queen Story Hour people have been connected with all kinds of criminal and unethical conduct. MassResistance discovered two sex offenders in one location (Houston). Another drag queen candidly admitted that Drag Queen Story Hour was about grooming the next generation.

5. This program is not about literacy. There are plenty of ways to teach the fundamentals of reading to children without using adult entertainers.

6. This is not about acceptance or diversity. No child, no parent should find adult entertainers reading to children "acceptable."  There are plenty of ways to expose children to different types of healthy, worthwhile role models.

7. Indeed, this program is shaping and distorting kids' minds about gender, sex, sexuality, etc. The Drag Queen Story Hour website admits it!

Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.

8. This program is inducing gender dysphoria in children, because they will grow up thinking that it is normal, acceptable for grown men to wear dresses. This does affect their perception and understanding of adulthood, too, since they begin to think that women can also wear or grow beards. This is confusing and psychologically damaging.

9. One of the biggest defenses for DQSH is that children will not turn into Drag Queens by going to this. THAT IS A LIE. There are more children being exploited into this perverse lifestyle. The state of Ohio is working on legislation to expand the definition of child endangerment to including drag entertainment, including bringing children into Drag. In Delaware County, OH, outraged parents and lawmakers shut down a "Teen Drag 101" program in the county library system. Yes, this program is about seducing children into this perverse agenda.

10. This program is pushing "queer" anything as commendable and imitable. That is wrong. Homosexuality, transgenderism, and other sexual paraphilias are dangerous, deviant, and destructive behaviors. The high incidence of disease, dysfunction, and death connected with these behaviors is just horrific, and these rates of deviance occur even in LGBT-affirming countries and locations. LGBT anything should not be showcased or promoted to children at all.

11. Common retort: "If you don't like Drag Queen Story Hour, then don't take your children." This is about protect the sanctity and security of ALL children. We are not talking about different preferences when it comes to reading matter or hobbies. We are talking about sexual perversion, and NO CHILD should be exposed to this. Every adult who cares about children should say "NO" and has a right to stop it. Besides, we does the community as a whole have to pay for it?

12. Common retort: "But if the parents support it, then who are we to judge?" Parental rights are not absolute. Parents are not allowed to introduce pornography to their children, or corrupt their children in other perverse ways. Parents are not permitted to molest, sexually abuse, or beat their children, either.

Prager Career Woman Regrets Life Choices: A Reflection

I read this article from Dennis Prager last month (and pretty soon, last year).

This career woman at age 50 was bemoaning her life choices, and her statement fits in with Dennis Prager's long-standing view that people need to get married, and they need to get married young.

He is affirmative on the argument that young people, especially young woman, are in big trouble, looking forward to an empty life if they do not get married.

Here are Prager's thoughts, mostly the words of the "career woman", and my thoughts interspersed within.

Every Wednesday, the second hour of my national radio show is the “Male/Female Hour.” A few weeks ago, a woman named Jennifer called in. For reasons of space, I have somewhat shortened her comments. Every young woman should read them. This is precisely what she said:

Everyone woman must read this! NOW! (Really?!)

“Dennis, I want to get right to it. I’m 50 years old with four college degrees. I was raised by a feminist mother with no father in the home. My mother told me get an education to the maximum level so that you can get out in the world, make a lot of money. And that’s the path I followed. I make adequate money. I don’t make a ton of money. But I do make enough to support my own household.

The truth is that anyone who pursues wealth and career status as a set of life-defining goals, whether you are male or female, will run into a lot of hurt and heart-ache. Money many answer all things, but it does not give or substantiate life.

“I want to tell women in their 20s: Do not follow the path that I followed. You are leading yourself to a life of loneliness. All of your friends will be getting married and having children, and you’re working to compete in the world, and what you’re doing is competing with men. Men don’t like competitors. Men want a partner. It took me until my late 40s to realize this.

This issue of "loneliness" comes us a great deal, especially among women. But what defines, or rather causes loneliness?

It's a factor of feeling that you are not "Cared for". Frankly, no one person can meet that need. It takes the gift, the goodness, the grace of God to be set free from the nagging lie that you are not cared for.

“And by the time you have your own household with all your own bills, you can’t get off that track, because now you’ve got to make the money to pay your bills. It’s hard to find a partner in your late 40s to date because you also start losing self-confidence about your looks, your body. It’s not the same as it was in your 20s. You try to do what you can to make your life fulfilling. I have cats and dogs. But it’s lonely when you see your friends having children, going on vacations, planning the lives of their children, and you don’t do anything at night but come home to your cats and dogs. I don’t want other women to do what I have done.”

"Losing self-confidence about one's looks ..." Hmm. A woman has more value than based on her looks.

Proverbs:

"Favour [charm] is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:30)

Yes, beauty matters, but a wise man is not looking to marry a woman just because she is beautiful. Furthermore, there are more stories which I have read in which elderly men and women do get married. I met one such couple last week!

I asked, “Was it hard for you to make this call?”

She responded: “It was. I want to be anonymous because I don’t want people that I know to really know my true feelings. Because you do act like ‘My career is everything. I love working.’ But it’s a lie on the inside for me. It’s unfortunate. I didn’t realize this until it’s too late. I don’t know if it’s too late. I would like to find somebody to go on vacation with.

"It's a lie on the inside for me," this woman states. For other women, their calling may include not having children because the calling, the career of their choosing has taken them on different paths.

I submit that the problem here is the feminism which was ingrained into her, which she never questioned. It sounds to me that she was convinced that men were part of the problem in her life, and that marrying a man would have created problems for her down the line.

It's not wise to avoid marriage because of such considerations. What someone else tells you about an experience or status cannot be the final determination on the matter. It simply cannot. For women, this bad advice has an even more adverse effect, since a woman's options do not narrow considerably by a certain time in one's life. It is very rare for women to have children after 40 years of age, for example.

“You have other concerns when you get older and you live alone. Who’s going to take you to your medical appointments? If something should happen to you, there’s no other income there to help you. These are things you don’t understand when you’re in your 20s because you don’t think you’ll ever get old and have health problems.

This woman is full of cares. A husband alone cannot take care of those cares. She has it all wrong. Sadly, it sounds like this woman went from one extreme of "I don't want to get married", to "I need a man, but now I cannot get a man because X, Y, Z, etc.")

“I’m stuck now because I go to work every day. I smile like I love it, but it’s very painful to not plan a vacation with someone. It’s painful to not have a Thanksgiving dinner with someone. You sit home alone and you do nothing. I avoid my friends now that have children because I have nothing in common with them.

Now we have the deeper diagnosis. She is jealous. She is playing the comparison game. Dennis Prager has a video for that:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MPG-aLD-EY

“Somebody asked me the other day, ‘Why did you stay single and never have kids?’ There’s answers: Because I was brainwashed by my mother into this. But it’s hard and it’s shameful to tell people, ‘I don’t know. I ran out of time.’

Now here's the point. The issue is that this woman went along with someone else's idea of what life is best. She didn't make the decisions for herself. The solution is not for her to get married. The issue is not about

“There’s not a good answer for it except ‘I was programmed to get into the workforce, compete with men and make money.’ Supposedly, that would be a fulfilling life. But I was told that by a feminist mother who was divorced, who hated her husband — my father.

Wow. More issues come to the forefront. A troubled home, no father, a broken family. Such pain that causes. She would like all of that restored or replaced, most likely. Being married would not fix that hurt, however.

Marriage is supposed to enhance your life, not complete it. I learned that from a Divorce Court Judge ... in fact THE Divorce Court Judge Mablean Ephraim:

“She tried to steer me on what she thought was the right path, but feminism is a lie. That’s what I want women to know.

There. That is the real issue. The ideology of radical feminism is the biggest issue for this lady. She missed out on having children, but she should not feel as though the rest of her life is lost becaus she did not marry or have children.

“I didn’t realize this until late in life. I want to tell women: Find someone in your 20s. That’s when you’re still very cute. That’s when you’re still amiable to working out problems with someone. It’s harder in your 50s, when you’ve lived alone, to compromise with someone, to have someone in your home and every little thing about them annoys you because you’re so used to being alone. It’s hard to undo that, so don’t do what I did. Find someone in your 20s.”

She has too many globalized ideas. "I will never find someone now that I am older" seems to be the gist of her comments. How does she know that? God opens doors and closes doors. It's not like all her best options are gone just because she may not be able to bear children.

Consider Sarah:

"And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken." (Genesis 21:1)

From this blessed example, Isaiah prophesies great blessing and honor even for the most barren among us:

"1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;" (Isaiah 54:1-2)

And why?

"For more are the children of the desolate than the married woman, says the Lord."

God is in the business of blessing us, restoring us even in the midst of our worst times.

Final Reflection

Dennis Prager's musing often are quite insightful and beneficial. I have learned a great deal from his Prager U videos.

When it comes to marriage and life, however, he misses the mark.

And there was more to plumb in this Career Woman's life than originally revealed.

If a woman makes a choice to remain single based on affirmative goals and personal experience,  there is nothing wrong with that. The issue ultimately is not that she rejected getting married at 20 or older, but that she is looking at her happiness outside of herself.

Marriage does not answer every need. On their surfaces, single life or married life presents blessings and challenges. The true blessing, the real challenge comes into play for which choices people make based on their individual lives, learnings, and leanings.

Let's hope that more people, men and women, make better choices for themselves based on a plenary review of many ideas, not just following a set of dogmas coming from one's parents.

By the way, here's an article from another 50-something career woman who chose not to have children and does not regret it!
