Statement of Arthur Schaper's Departure from MassResistance

Hey, everyone!

Many supporters and fellow activists have reached out to me over the last three weeks about MassResistance’s ongoing efforts. Local and international activists have been in touch with me about projects as well.

Today, it is time for me to make the announcement official:

July 31, 2026, was my last day working for MassResistance.

I stayed in touch with the organization day by day for the next few weeks to assist the main office with transition efforts.

My work with the international pro-family group that makes the difference has come to a close.

Their mission has not ceased. My mission has changed.

I am more committed than ever to standing for truth, and I believe—no, I know!—that MassResistance is the only pro-family organization that has maintained a steadfast commitment to telling the whole truth about the LGBT agenda, unafraid to confront cowardly conservatives as well as lame liberals and poisonous progressives intent on accommodating or imposing the LGBT agenda on others.

I have a growing interest in intellectual activism, not just organizing for wins in legislatures or government entities. There is a need to confront the lies and promote the truth in more ways, and I have enjoyed writing and commenting on these issues at great length.

It’s my hope that I can continue along those lines to fight the good fight and stand for truth.

Jamaica MassResistance: President Urged Jamaicans to Support Anti-Sodomy Law, Jamaicans Still Protest LGBT Perversion

In Jamaica, the pro-family movement is serious! Since the Biden Administration began flying the LGBT “rainbow flag” outside the US Embassy there (as well as others around the world), local citizens have been outraged.

The Jamaican Coalition for a Healthy Society (JCHS), the nation’s largest pro-family group, has been regularly protesting outside the front of the embassy demanding that the flag be taken down.

The group says that the United States’ efforts to push the LGBT agenda in their country represent the worst kind of cultural imperialism. As one JCHS spokesman told the news media, the US Embassy publicly flying the LGBT flag is “a symbol of disrespect on Jamaican soil” and “an insult to our country.”

Furthermore, the spokesman said, this violates the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations which outlines that foreign embassies must respect the culture of the host country and not attempt to interfere with the country’s internal affairs.

The Advocacy officer for JCHS did not mince words when interviewed:

You have to understand what that multi-color flag represents. It represents normalizing perverse sexual behaviors and lifestyle choices, behaviors and lifestyles that lead to disease and death. Our Christian duty is to speak the truth in love.

That’s what’s being said across Jamaica. We couldn't have put it better!

The group plans to continue protesting until the US Embassy removes the flag. At this point – in true Biden Administration arrogance – the Embassy staff won’t even respond to their complaint.

The 2013 speech that Brian Camenker of MassResistance gave in Jamaica!

Back in 2013, the Jamaican Parliament was considering repealing the country’s long-standing so-called “Buggery Law,” which makes homosexual relations illegal. To help raise awareness of how this could affect society down the road, the Jamaican Coalition for a Healthy Society invited Brian Camenker of MassResistance to come to Jamaica. For a week, Camenker helped people organize and worked with the Coalition’s leaders. During that week, Camenker was the main speaker at a large rally in Emancipation Park in Kingston. Over 400 people attended. He was introduced by Dr. Wayne West, the president of JCHS, and gave a speech that was broadcast live across the country.

Read our full report from 2013 on that event. It was a great evening and (from what we heard) our involvement made a difference!

Despite a big lobbying effort by foreign LGBT forces, the people of Jamaica forced their Parliament keep the “Buggery Law” in place, and it is still on the books. Of course, this drives the pro-LGBT international media crazy, and they periodically write hysterical articles wailing about it. But JCHS continues to be a strong pro-family force on the island!

Final thoughts

This should be what everyone is doing.

The rainbow “pride flag” is not innocuous. It is the political symbol of a movement that hates the Bible and Christianity and seeks to normalize unnatural and medically dangerous behaviors.  Those who fly that flag pretend to claim it’s about “inclusivity.” But they know exactly what the real message is that they’re sending. It is used to represent (and inspire) raw power by the LGBT ideology over those who disagree or hold traditional beliefs.

The Jamaicans (and others in Latin America) get it. But Americans and others are often too confused or fearful to do anything but become more downtrodden. And that makes our adversaries act even more boldly against us.

Unfortunately, this particular problem is not new. Even President Trump’s Secretary of State Pompeo let the LGBT flag fly at our foreign embassies (See our 2018 article here.)  

If you see this at your school, city hall, a local company, or anywhere else, complain loudly and protest! Over the last few years, across the US and even in Canada MassResistance has forced several schools, companies, and others to remove their “pride flags.” (For example, this past June we pressured the Westminster, CA, City Council NOT to fly the “pride flag” over City Hall, as they had planned to for “Pride month.”) That movement needs to spread!

Some good news is that one of our allies in Congress, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene - who previously was a MassResistance activist - has filed legislation to mandate that only the American flag flies over U.S. Embassies and other government buildings.

The Boston Straight Pride Parade was clearly put on as a parody of the annual "Gay Pride" parade in Boston. It was also pro-America and pro-President Trump. But to the humorless Left, such a public rebuke of political correctness needs to be demonized and destroyed by whatever means possible.

 These were on telephone poles around the downtown area.

We had a long conversation with one of the Antifa people on his way to City Hall Plaza. He was a young guy, about 25. He was yelling "Nazis get off of OUR streets!" We asked him, "Aren't these public streets?" He admitted they were, but said it didn't matter. So we asked him, "How do you know they're Nazis?" He said their writings have been reported in all the news. He then claimed had he had personally talked to the Straight Pride leaders, whom he said admitted to being Nazis and white supremacists. He said that they needed to be driven out of Boston. We told him that Antifa appears to be pretty Nazi-like itself with that kind of thinking and violent approach. Apparently no one had ever said that to him before, and he didn't respond. The whole conversation was like something out of the Twilight Zone. But make no mistake: this really is the irrational way that a whole segment of the population thinks.

 This woman told us she is a librarian in Somerville, MA. The obvious question was: if she's against ignorance, what's she doing here?

 Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's a joke or they're serious.

 This woman told us that Stephen Miller is someone in the Trump Administration (he's a senior advisor in the White House), that she apparently doesn't like!

 This guy took down his mask and posed for us with his "Black Trans Lives Matter" shirt.

 Another Leftist who believes nonsense.

 Oh, sometimes being a social justice warrior can get so boring! Need to check those phone messages!

My name is Arthur Schaper, and I am the Organization Director for MassResistance.

We are the international pro-family group that makes the difference. We set up the press conference at the Chula Vista Main Library on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

We had men and women of all backgrounds, and they were all Chula Vista residents aside from myself.

I read this part of your commentary in one of the articles you wrote about our press conference:

As with other similar events across the country, the storytime caught the attention of MassResistance, an anti-LGBTQ organization. The Southern Poverty Law Center has described MassResistance as a hate group.

Are you not aware that the Southern Poverty Law Center is a discredited hate group in and of itself and has been thoroughly discredited?

1. Its co-founder, Morris Dees, was fired for fostering a workplace filled with racism and sexism. He engaged in frequent acts of sexual misconduct against female employees, too.

2. The president of the Organization, Richard Cohen, was forced to resign as well for overlooking and enabling the workplace culture which shut out minorities and women. So did the SPLC legal director Rhonda Brownstein.

3. Former employee Bob Moser (himself politically liberal and openly gay) denounced the culture of hatred and dishonor within the organization, and patently admitted in his article in the New Yorker that the SPLC is not really interested in fighting so-called "hate groups", as much as merely engaging in smears against any group whose views they simply do not like. That is not a digilent organization of any measure, and therefore should not be quoted or referenced.

 4. Regarding MassResistance specifically, it is quite offensive for you to refer to this organization as a "hate group." Our founder, President Brian Camenker, is an orthodox Jew who suffered discrimination himself as a youth in Duluth, Minnesota. We have Orthodox Jewish communities in New Jersey and New York, as well as communities of many ethnic backgrounds who work with us. How can you possibly reference such individuals as "a hate group"?

5. For the record, the SPLC is facing at least six lawsuits for libel, and they were forced to pay a $3.8 million settlement to reformist Muslim Maajid Nawaz for smearing him as an "anti-Muslim" extremist. The SPLC had to issue an official apology, as well. That you would reference an organization which has such anti-Muslim and even anti-Semitic leanings is quite disturbing,

6. Marc Potok, another former employee of the SPLC, openly admitted that their express interest is to smear conservative groups, nothing more. They have no interest in stopping hate, but rather perpetuating it.

7. The SPLC has applied the "hate group" label to every pro-family organization they can. It's a joke. Here is a list of other groups and organizations which have been labeled "hate groups" by the SPLC:

It's completely meaningless and nonsensical.

In short, Mr. Hernandez, your remarks and references to the SPLC that MassResistance is a hate group are libelous. To call a group of committed Chula Vista residents "a hate group" is striking in its lack of professionalism. Mothers and fathers who care about children and their communities does not constitute "hate".

Furthermore, are you even daring to allege that a black pastor, himself a pillar in the community, Pastor Dennis Hodges, is a hater too? Such writing is completely uncalled for.

That reference to the Southern Poverty Law Center must be removed. It is libelous, inflammatory, devoid of any fact or basis in truth, and completely unprofessional.

Readers in the San Diego area deserve better than this kind of shoddy journalism.

Nick Martin,The Southern Poverty Law Center's Own Anti-Semite?

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a hate group in its own right, has spent the last ten years targeting political groups, interest groups, and non-profits which they don't agree with as "hate groups."

These malicious smears have endangered lives as well as suppressed good, strong healthy debate on key issues.

What is it about one of their so-called "investigative journalists" named Nick Martin? He clearly has a loose relationship with the truth, and according to his Facebook page, he used to work for a local paper in Tucson, Arizona. Did they fire him because he couldn't report anything half-decent?

Or did they fire him because he hates certain ethnic groups?

Looking over some of his hateful hit pieces, I found two articles in which he targets Jewish conservatives, both Trump supporters.

First, there are his scandalous attacks against Harim Uzziel, also known as Harim Vargas:

The man, who goes by the pseudonym Harim Uziel and calls himself “The Hardcore American Patriot,” was in Austin on Saturday, March 3, for a pro-Trump rally at the state capitol. But his love for the president, coupled with a short fuse, turned into a full-on shouting match with a stranger that evening inside the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The incident was severe enough that it caused airline employees to call the police, bar him from boarding his flight out of Austin and deny him a seat on a later flight. He was eventually escorted out of the airport’s secure area by police and given a refund for his ticket.

Harim had a short fuse that day. OK ... but why does he insist on bringing a picture of him to the forefront of the post with the Israeli flag on his shoulders? That picture was not taken at the Austin Airport, but at LAX.

Does Nick Martin have some kind of problem with Israel? With Jews?

Perhaps he does, since he loves harassing them, especially if they are Trump supporters.

Consider how sloppy his reporting was on the March 3 2018 event in question:

Airport spokesman Jim Halbrook told the SPLC that employees at three different gates called police that evening to report “a disturbance” that involved shouting between passengers. Officers from the Austin Police Department later escorted a man out of the airport’s secure area, he said.

Neither Mohr nor Halbrook provided the man’s name, but Halbrook said officers approached the man after receiving a description of someone who had “a Trump flag wrapped around him.”

Why is this a thing? Why is this reported in the first place? Who cares about one guy, even if he is a Trump supporter, losing his patience or getting out of line in an airport?

Perhaps it's the fact that Harim is a Jew? Is that Nick's problem?

Then again, it's just one story, right?

Well, there's more.

Nick Martin lied about Russel Jaffe, also Jewish and a co-founder of Patriot Movement AZ:

A leader of the anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim group Patriot Movement AZ (PMAZ) was arrested by police earlier this month for allegedly assaulting a woman who was filming him at a “free speech” rally his group organized.

Russell “RJ” Jaffe, 49, was cited Nov. 10 by Tucson, Arizona, police for misdemeanor assault after officers saw him trying to grab a cellphone out of the woman’s hand.

No one in PMAZ is anti-immigrant. In fact, some of their members are immigrants, including two  born in Mexico, who came to the United States legally and expect the same from anyone else who comes to the United State.

 How can anyone with such low credibility, with such ignorance go to those lengths? Martin does not seem like a stupid man, but rather a hateful bigot looking to shame good people.

Jaffe did not hurt or hit anyone anwyay, in fact. He merely moved the camera out of his way because he was trying to clear the pathway.

But facts don't matter to Mr. Martin. Why does he go after Russel with such abandon?

He's Jewish, too. A pattern is starting to develop here ...

Last of all, SPLC has targeted MassResistance, the international pro-family group that makes a difference. I attended the Patriot Movement AZ rally in November, 2018.

MassResistance was founded in 1993 by Brian Camenker, himself a conservative Jew who has fought against the destruction of faith, family, and freedom.

Yet the Southern Poverty Law Center has routinely printed lies about MassResistance and Brian Camenker in particular:

Mass Resistance: Mass Resistance leader Brian Camenker has claimed that groups that back anti-bullying school programs actually want to lure children into homosexuality and, very possibly, sadomasochism. In 2006, he said that gay people were trying to pass legislation that would allow sex with animals. Camenker has falsely claimed that no gay people died in the Holocaust and that the pink triangle that the Nazis forced imprisoned gay people to wear actually signified Catholic priests. He has also repeatedly linked homosexuality and pedophilia despite the falsity of that claim. In 2008, he claimed without any evidence that “skyrocketing homosexual domestic violence” since same-sex marriage became legal in Massachusetts had cost that state increasingly large sums of money.

For the record, Camenker has never denied that homosexuals were targeted and murdered in the Holocaust. This is a total fraud.

Now we have Nick Martin smearing MassResistance, too ... Why?

Let's cut through the crap here: Nick Martin is an anti-Semite. The very thing that the Southern Poverty Law Center prides itself on--fighting hate--is all undone because they hire bigots like Martin, who attack people because of their ethnic background, looking for any excuse to discredit people, especially Jews.

This is really disgusting.

First, the Southern Poverty Law Center smeared reformist Muslim Maajid Nawaz, and they had to pay a settlement and issue an apology.

·         Bill C-16 added references to “gender identity or expression” to two sections of the  Canadian Human Rights Act and to two sections of the Criminal Code, one dealing with hate propaganda and the other with sentencing provisions for crimes motivated by hate.

·         The term “hatred” has been considered in several Supreme Court of Canada decisions, including R. v. Keegstra:

Hatred is predicated on destruction, and hatred against identifiable groups therefore thrives on insensitivity, bigotry and destruction of both the target group and of the values of our society. Hatred in this sense is a most extreme emotion that belies reason; an emotion that, if exercised against members of an identifiable group, implies that those individuals are to be despised, scorned, denied respect and made subject to ill-treatment on the basis of group affiliation.
