MassResistance Gets No to Three Message Out Across Massachusetts

MassResistance activists get the “transgender bathroom bill” message out over highways across Massachusetts

LOTS of positive response by passing cars!

As vote nears, many people still confused on this issue

November 5, 2018
ALT TEXTOver the Massachusetts Turnpike leading into Boston.
In the final week before the election, many people in Massachusetts still hadn’t heard much about Question 3, regarding the transgender “bathroom” law, which is up for a statewide vote. Even fewer had a sense of what was at stake -- a lunatic ideology being forced on everyone -- since both the LGBT and the pro-family “establishment” have been avoiding that key issue in their arguments.
What’s a good way to get your message out to thousands of people in a short period of time? Highway standouts would seem obvious, but it’s amazing how few people do that these days. But in Massachusetts, which is full of packed highways, you’ve got a pretty captive audience. And our message is pretty simple. So we said, “Why not?”
The No To 3 Committee had some banners made, and people got to work on highways and Interstate overpasses across the state. And it was a lot of fun! (We got several to send us photos!)

Pretty much everyone reported a lot of positive response from drivers -- despite what the liberal press says. For example, last week one sign-holder who was standing on a Pittsfield street emailed us this quick report:
Most people supported me beeping their horns. All the men who replied to me--supported me. Most women smiled in support. Only one college girl opposed so far. I will continue as long as weather is good.
Everyone's pushing hard -- and hoping for the best!

Wicked MA Lawmaker Holds "Neutral Forum", Yet Supporters Transgender Insanity Law

From Keith Davis, Treasurer for Vote No to 3 Ballot Committee:

lexington.wickedlocal.com
Lexington state Rep. Jay Kaufman's award winning public policy forum, "Open House," examines the upcoming election with its next installment “A Look at the 2018 Ballot Questions.” On Nov. 6, voters will face three questions on the ballot, all three the result of initiative petitions, citizen efforts to legislate directly without benefit of the normal legislative process envisioned by the Founders. The forum will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 7-8 p.m., at the Depot in Lexington Center,

A moderator of a forum event should not taint the proceedings with your opinions on the issues as you are doing. Organizers should stay neutral, as the League of Woman Voters tries hard to do.  (Your "award," whoever gave that out, what is it, is more like a participation trophy?)
But since you've opened the door for discussion, let's look at the questions:

Q1 - If passed, to start with, there wouldn't be enough nurses to fill the required positions.  This is a union led effort looking to get thousands of more nurses paying dues. Plus, the number of nurses per patient is reduced to the lowest common denominator of the slowest and most inefficient workers because you can't set a limit that is impossible even for a single nurse to meet.  By law, people would indeed have to be turned away from a facility if the nursing quota were to be filled.  When patient levels drop, dozens of nurses would be left with sitting around looking at their smart phones.
This is Marxism at its best.  Besides the enormous cost to healthcare, and thus to us all, Q1 takes away all incentive for a nurse to excel.

Q2 - Corporate money in politics is only a "threat" to the uneducated, uninformed, gullible voters, which is what you are calling voters by being for Q2.

Big money PACs by law have to identify themselves when they do expensive TV ads, which are taken with a grain of salt by knowledgeable voters.  Corporations are made up of people and if they prosper and profit because of legislation, their employees prosper.  The law creates another useless commission with vague goals and clearly violates the First Amendment.

Q3 - The "yes" people are feeding a big lie to the voters.  They keep saying that people born of 1 sex but believe they are of another sex are discriminated in "public areas," as if they can't take a book out of a library of buy a ticket at a train station.  This is pure deception.  The law, as signed by our democrat governor Baker, was never needed.  Existing laws already protected ALL people in "public areas."  The "bathroom bill" is just that.  Bathrooms, showers in schools or locker rooms in fitness centers are not "public areas."  They are areas of privacy and safety.  The law created civil rights and creates a new class of people for those with a disorder at the expense of other peoples' rights to privacy and security.

Maura Healy said they looked across the country and found no examples of problems in such places.  They apparently didn't look too hard because there are dozens of instances as enumerated on the main page of VoteNoTo3.com

Transgenders have been using facilities for years, but that's not the point.  The law permits any man to just stroll naked into a women's shower and know they can simply claim they "feel feminine" at that moment.  They don't even need to have the trappings of the opposite sex.  Try complaining about a pervert and see who's fined or jailed.  (Hint, wouldn't be the pervert)

The law also cheapens the existing support for true transgenders, the tiny percentage of people born with physical characteristics of both sexes who have a right then to decide who they want to be and to have everyone's support.

What's best for our society?
Vote "No" on all 3 questions.
Don't fall for the Marxist takeover approach

Regards,
Keith Davis

MassResistance: Fighting for No on Question Three the RIGHT WAY!

MassResistance activists fighting to win transgender “bathroom bill” referendum in Massachusetts

On statewide ballot in Nov. 6 general election

Opportunity to overturn horrible law signed by GOP Governor in 2016

October 4, 2018
ALT TEXTTelling it like it is. Too many conservatives are afraid to address this issue directly. But the public needs to hear it to break through the LGBT propaganda.
MassResistance activists in Massachusetts have filed papers forming an official ballot committee to fight the so-called “transgender bathroom bill,” which is being voted on in the Nov. 6 general election as Question 3.
With only a month to go, polls show the pro-family side slightly losing. A lot of people feel that another voice would greatly help educate the public, and bring a win. After a lot of deliberation, local MassResistance activists decided to jump into the fight with a bold message that goes right at the truth of this issue.

A terrible law got passed

In June, 2016, the leftist Massachusetts Legislature passed (and GOP Governor Charlie Baker signed) the infamous “transgender bathroom bill.” This onerous law involves cross-dressers and “transgenders” using any public accommodation, and allows them to use opposite-sex facilities such as restrooms, locker rooms, and showers. It is a crime, punishable by fines and possible jail time, to discriminate or even make an audible comment about it. In other words anyone who doesn’t treat men in dresses like actual women is liable for prosecution.
ALT TEXTAs the law now stands, you can be arrested for not treating these three men as women while in any public accommodation, or even commenting in public that they're not real women.
In our opinion, the conservative politicians never fought this vigorously, and were afraid of offending the Left. Their main argument was “transgenders already have rights.”

Fighting back

After this bill was signed into law, a conservative group (to their credit) went out and got enough signatures to force it to a statewide referendum. But it happened too late to be included in the 2016 general election, so it’s being voted during the 2018 election. A “yes” vote keeps the current law; a “no” vote defeats it. (That wording was determined by the Mass. Attorney General.)
The same group that got the signatures has been campaigning for a “no” vote. They’ve been working hard across the state. Their message is very compelling and has had success in other places. We’re certainly pleased they’re in this fight.
But the LGBT movement came up with revised strategy for this battle. They are focusing their “yes” campaign entirely on “civil rights” to go along with “equality.” As offensive as that seems, they are actually claiming that men dressing up as women is equivalent to blacks being forced to use separate restrooms than whites in the 1950s.
They have raised over $2 million, and have major corporations, labor unions the media, numerous politicians, the Boston Chamber of Commerce, and all the major Boston sports teams are vigorously supporting them.

MassResistance activists get into the fight

Make no mistake: The main purpose of these bills is to use the power of the state to force the normalization of so-called “transgenderism.” Public accommodations is their tool.
But so far, nobody has been focusing on what we believe is the necessary issue. Since the polls showing our side as trailing, some of our activists decided to jump in and help the fight with a bucket of cold water – as much as possible in the closing weeks – that may just turn the tide!
Their strategy is to tell the cold, hard truth, even if it is not politically correct.
  1. Transgenderism is a mental disorder. It is not a “civil right.” These people need psychological help. Amputating healthy body parts and taking massive amounts of opposite-sex hormones does not solve their problems. All legitimate research shows that pandering to their condition only makes things worse for them.
  2. This is the State forcing people to believe a lie, under penalty of prosecution. Men can never become women, and vice versa. Their male or female DNA in all their cells is always the same.
The truth is that entire LGBT movement is based on lies, fraud, and distorted science. But if the truth isn’t told, people won’t hear it.
There is a VoteNoTo3 website. Let’s see how we can make a difference in this election! This MUST be stopped. If you live in Mass. (and even if you don’t) you can volunteer at the website.
Very important: The group needs money for signs, banners, printing, and possibly even commercials. You can donate for that by PayPal or Credit Card (or by sending a check) here.
We will keep you informed on this!
BELOW: Up against the big boys. Not surprisingly, Twitter is living up to its hard-left bias and is blocking the the conservative position (and the truth) on this issue.
