Check out the latest outrage on the left between establishment liberals and progressive leftists over Ocasio-Cortez, otherwise known as the Future of the Democratic Party:
Ummmmmmm......... yeah, just lost all support. pic.twitter.com/kNsPbEy9sC— Mr. Weeks ✊π½ (@MrDane1982) July 4, 2018
Ouch!
Susan Sarandon helped elect Donald Trump because she so despised Hillary Clinton and the whole Clinton machine of crime and corruption. Concerned partisans on both sides of the aisle were so outreached with the corporatism, cronyism, and Deep State collusion undermining the rule of law and our individual liberties. Of course, Crooked Hillary symbolized all of that, and progressives who wanted "progress" said no.
One of the outraged Democrats called Sarandon a Trump supporter. Crazy!
WOW! STINKY!— π⊰π♀️⊱Deby⊰π♀️⊱π (@UniversalSp1r1t) July 4, 2018
when a Trump Supporter like susan sarandon
joins with Alexandria
I watched Alexandria on the View- not
impressed with her bragging about being
a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST (a BERNIE WANNA BE)
they tried to STEAL the DEMOCRATIC Party.
that said. She is better than GOP
In California, I know Berniecrat who wrote in Bernie Sanders because they so loathed Crooked Hillary.
On the other side of this Democratic civil war, the mainline liberals all got behind Hillary Clinton because she was the DNC Candidate. Whom else would they vote for?
Ocasio-Cortez is rubbing salt into the bitter wounds, as they blame left-wing activists like Susan Sarandon for helping Trump win in crucial swing states.
Check out more of the outrage:
The right didn't force her into a photo op. Ocasio needs to know this history-- there is righteous anger among those who listened to #susansarandon malicious propaganda against HRC. If Ocasio wants to UNITE, she can do it with DEMOCRATS, not propagandists. Her choice.— BethπΆπππππππππππ ⓟππππππoπ ππππππ (@bcuriouswithme) July 5, 2018
Righteous outrage. Really.
Where was the outrage over Bill Clinton's repeated abuses of women? Where was the outrage over Crooked Hillary's double-talk and double-dealings against the best interests of the country?
Oh, and it gets better. Let's thrown in a little pinch of Russian collusion, and blame Sarandon for being part of it!
Ok, Ok, some strong, committed leftists will still vote for Ocasio-Cortez, but that's about it:100% right. I wonder if she knows that the Stein/Sarandon crowd is being egged on and manipulated by Russian online operatives and other far-right groups who want to split the Democrats? Repeat of 2016.— Phil Rubin (@MusicWriter561) July 5, 2018
Still, if there is so much outrage over this woman, is it possible for the Republican candidate to win?I worked really hard to be fair and give her a chance. She's probably better than the repub candidate...i assume....but i will not give one penny or postcard or any effort for her. Fk susan and her minions.— WonderWoman #RESISTS your misogyny. #FightItAll (@AlsoWonderWoman) July 5, 2018
One response suggested that the left needs to get their act together:
The right is loving all this infighting. Divide & conquer.— Patti Mulligan π¬✊π½ (@chachina) July 5, 2018
One critic actually compared this raging socialist to Presidents Donald Trump and George W. Bush:
ugh, this is who she is. https://t.co/xL3mzEljSX— TanyaBananyaRamya (@icyjuicy) July 5, 2018
Then check out the add-on:
So. I have multiple degrees in history and a Bachelor in Business Administration. Degrees don't impress me. Trump and W had them too.— PWM (William) πΊπΈ (@PWM62) July 5, 2018
So now the avid, rabid socialist is too-right wing for the Democrats' taste, too?
It's not looking good for the future of the Democratic Party:
Something seriously wrong here. Sarandon's face is just filled with hate, and Ocasio? Well, she has a long life in politics ahead, she'll have to manage more than this.— Heidi Jon Schmidt (@noelcourage) July 4, 2018
This is incredible.
Now, who is the Republican running in the 14th Congressional District in New York State? Anthony Pappas, and to say that he faces an uphill battle is an understatement.
The district is currently listed as D +29. and incumbent Joe Crowley won the district by a staggering 80%.
Anthony Pappas |
Still, is the Democratic Socialist so impalatable, that a Republican could compete? Pappas is a professor of economics at St. John's University. That should be interesting: two economists fighting for a Congressional seat in one of the most Democratic districts in the New York City area.
Will there be a real clash of ideas, or will Ocasio ignore the calls for a debate from her Republican challenger?
