Call to Action, Torrance Residents!

 To all Torrance concerned citizens:

We have so much to celebrate! We now have Five Republicans on the city council! The winners edged out a liberal incumbent, to boot! This means that we have better chances of getting people to listen to us rather than the city staff and the public sector unions.

Here are the two new city councilmembers:

 George Chen:

 Aurelio Mattucci:

We need the entire city council to hear our concerns about a number of issues (And support the new city council members!!):

1.       Wild urban coyotes.
2.       Butcher Hill project (traffic issues)
3.       SB 54 (opt out of Sanctuary State)

4.       Forced city council district. Carson has just blown off the threatened lawsuit. Torrance needs to do the same thing and let Torrance residents elected their city council members at large.
5.       pension issues
6.       Public sector workers need to be informed of their restored rights NOT to join a union (per Janus decision)

The district issue is Item 8D on Torrance City Council Agenda.

This agenda item is a consent calendar item, but it’s time for the city council to open up discussion about stalling on this capitulation.

PLEASE - -we need lots of people to write to the city council and urge them to reject council districts!

The city needs to hear from everyone, the same way that they heard from everyone about the carwash on Sepulveda Blvd. last week.
