***We the People Rising will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their protests at the Huntington Park City Council, following their perverse decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions***

Huntington Park, California – In light of the growing opposition to illegal immigration in the state of California and throughout the United States, We the People Rising will commemorate their ongoing protests against Huntington Park City Council at:

Huntington Park City Hall
August 16th, 2016
6550 Miles Ave
Huntington Park, CA 90255

Last year, August 3rd, 2015, Huntington Park Councilmember decided to appoint two illegal aliens—Julian Zatarian and Francisco Medina—to two city commissions

At the August 17th, 2015 city council meeting, members of We the People Rising, a pro-immigration enforcement advocacy group, along with other outraged citizens throughout the region, protested this illegal and immoral decision.

For the past year since, We the People Rising have continued to attend those council meetings, demanding the removal of the two illegal aliens from the city commissions, and to have two of the thousands of law-abiding citizens in the city appointed in their place.

Their efforts have included:
  • ·         Filing complaints against the city council’s violations of the Brown Act and the First Amendment of the Constitution
  • ·         Ongoing outreach to Huntington Park Community residents
  • ·         Assistance and Advocacy for Nick Ioannidis, a well-respected legal resident, and founder of Immigrants Day, whom the city still owes $175,000 for improper directives for the renovations of his property on Gage Ave.
  • Exposure of the corrupting influence peddling of Efren "Chuck Cheeze" Martinez and his cronies Mario Beltran and John Noguez

We the People Rising are resolved to keep up the pressure until the city council undoes their unjust, unlawful appoint.

The Council meeting meets August 16, 2016 at 6:00pm.

“We the People Rising have continued to be the voice for citizens in the city of Huntington Park and throughout the country outraged by the senseless, lawless arrogance of this city council,” Robin Hvidston, the Director of We the People Rising, declared.”

“Their decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions merely perpetuates the rampant illegal immigration which is hurting our communities, engendering our citizens, and hurting our economy.”

Their efforts have ramped up considerably in the last year, following the untimely murder of Katherine Steinle in San Francisco, and the recent, brutal deaths of five American citizens, burned alive in an abandoned, Los Angeles warehouse by an twice-arrested illegal alien from Honduras.

Hvidston and her team affirmed that they will continue to protest and inform the residents of Huntington Park of the corrupt and immoral actions of the Huntington Park City Council until the illegal aliens are removed from the city commissions.

Hvidston later added: “If they [the Huntington Park City Council] will respect our laws, remove the illegal, and respect the citizens in their city, we will stop protesting.”
