Let us hope that similar charges will not further drag down the current Assembly Majority Leader.
And speaking of lead -- he needs to demonstrate some real leadership.
SB 1146 has had key negative portions removed from the legislation.
But the bill is still bad, an attack on religious liberty and freedom of conscience.
Calderon needs to do the right thing. Constituents have already confronted his staff in his office.
Here is a welcome statement from Barbara Autry of Whittier:
I have tweeted to him a number of times to oppose this legislation SB1146. This was his answer:
@ArthurCSchaper do what you gotta do. Threats are for those that are weak and lack an argument/facts. Not a way to motivate me. #ignorant— Ian C. Calderon (@IanCalderon) August 11, 2016
I have shared numerous facts, and so did his constituents.
Check out his other tweet:
@ArthurCSchaper btw I don't represent Torrance.— Ian C. Calderon (@IanCalderon) August 11, 2016
Liberty matters in every part of the state.
But since he makes a point about the fact that I did not live in his district, why doesn't he listen to those who do?
Contact Ian Calderon's office, and demand that he protect the First Amendment and vote NO! on SB1146!
