Update on SB 1146: Assemblymembers Overwhelmed With Constituent Calls

The legislation passed out of committee on a party line vote.

Appropriations Democrats all voted for it, except for Eduardo Garcia (D-Calexico), who abstained or was not present for the vote.

Republicans have been voting against this legislation or abstaining already.

There Are 52 Democrats that need to know -- California voters do not want SB 1146.

I made phone calls to Democratic representatives up and down the state.

On five of the seven legislators I called, I could not leave a message.

Why?

The voice mail box was full!

The voters are giving their representatives an ear full!
