Further Embarrassment for the CAGOP: Even Wyoming GOP Gains Voters, and the Pacific Northwest GOP Makes Gains (But What About California?)

However, we know that from July 1, 2022 to September 1, 2022 the Republicans gained 34,719 voters and the Democrat and Unaffiliated voters lost 21,721 voters.  So either way you read the data, cross-over voting had a huge impact in our Primary election and on Mark Gordon's final voter count.

I received this news from a conservative correspondent in Wyoming today.

The Wyoming Republicna Party gained 35,000 voters and the Democrats LOST voters. Doesn't that tell you something?

Let's work out the percentages on this:

Wyoming Population: 581,348

The number of GOP registrations increased by 6% in the state. That's considerable.

What about the California Republican Party, though?

Democratic numbers are increasing, and at a time when the Democratic Party's registration numbers are in freefall all over the country! In Florida, in New York, in New Mexico voters are switching to the GOP in massive numbers. In Virginia, Republicans are witnessing an unprecedented resurgence. Nevada is about to become a red state again across the statewide offices, including one of its US Senators as well as the Governor and other state offices.

But what about California? Our inept political leadership cannot even bother to register voters, aside from some middling bounty program, which means basically nothing, especially when a number of the county central committees have very few people attending them in the first place.

In Rhode Island, Republicans knocked out the Speaker of the House! In Hawaii in 2018, Republicans actually managed to GAIN a seat in the state senate. Sure, the new state senator is a RINO, but at least he opposed the noxious, abusive sex-ed programs that the Hawaii Teachers Association wanted to push on all of Hawaii's kids.

Republicans just won the city attorney's position in Seattle, Washington last year. In 2020, a Republican was re-elected as Secretary of State of the entire state of Washington! And this year, if the polling holds steady into election day, a Republican is going to be elected Governor of Oregon, a state which has not had a Republican chief executive in forty years! Polling also suggests that a Republican will be elected the next attorney general in New York State, too. And back to Rhode Island, it looks as though a Republican will be elected to Congress representing the Western half of the state, the first Republican in thirty years -- 30! -- to get elected to Congress from the hypermajority Democratic state.

These victories are incredible and unprecedented across the country. But they are a massive black eye for the California Republican Party, whose leadership seems conflict with managed decline and controlled failure, all while purging conservatives from central committees and shutting down serious conservative candidates for local, county, and statewide offices. At some point, will California Republicans have enough guts and resources to take back their party, or will they take the easier, softer approach and just abandon the state entirely?

Oregon is about to have a Republican governor--Let that sink in once again. And for four years previous to that, a Republican served as Secretary of state. California, are you embarrassed yet? California Republican Party, have you had enough with the perpetual losses or what?

Punching Back: Sports Grumblings Supports MassResistance

Conservatives need to learn to punch back, and they need to punch back twice as hard. That's something I have fashioned with greater precision during my work with MassResistance.

Along the lines shared above, this tweet below is one of the best compliments yet that I have been paid on social media:

Yes, indeed, there are too many Republicans, especially in California, who are content with being attacked and not fighting back. It's really sad.

Imagine how much better this country would be if conservatives acted like dedicated instead of controlled opposition.

Sports Grumblings in particular was commenting on MassResistance's latest article, in which the organization focused on my ongoing efforts to push back and scare off leftists in the city of Torrance, my hometown.

Unlike most conservatives, I have repeatedly exposed and humiliated the very left-wing activists who push LGBT perversion and BLM hate, and I do not hold back. I am not worried about what they might say about me, because I push back on them without even having to worry about what they will do to me.

People need to understand that most of these hateful liberals are really just cowards. They don't have the courage to stand up for what they believe in (because they really don't believe in anything. They have to believe with other people to have meaning). If more people just called them out for their hate, most of them would run and hide, never bother anyone in polite society ever again.

Brian Dahle for Congress (?)

Brian Dahle

Let's face some hard facts:

California State Senate Minority Brian Dahle is not going to be the next governor of California. The voters turned down a recall effort against incumbent Governor Gavin Newoms last year by 2-to-1. It was just so discouraging. Newsom has the backing of very major political interest, and the woke cult has such a stronghold on so many voters in the state.

So, why is Dahle running for Governor?

He is propping up his bid for higher office, i.e. Congress, when CA-01 House Rep. Doug LaMalfa resigns, retires, etc., or Dahle will go after a seat on the Board of Equalization once Ted Gaines terms out.

That's what swampy Republicans in the California State Legislature do. They are not interested in saving the state. Most of them do not speak up to stop bad legislation during the legislative session, even. They make no efforts to improve the well-being and quality of life for California residents. They don't care because they don't have to. They show up, cast their votes, collect their paycheck, then prep for higher office or local office or set up their consulting firms once they term out.

They are looking to hold onto whatever political power is available to them or make whatever money they can, including running for whatever higher office may be available to them in the near future.

How has the Dahle for Governor campaign spent its money?

Campaign Consultant Josh Cook  $115,000  (Cook is also the Senator Dahle Chief of Staff)

The consultant gets 10% of campaign take. Wow!

Slate cards    $256,000

Where does he plan on sending the slates? Orange County?

Other consultants:

Matt Shupe (Contra Costa GOP Chair)  $7500

Call to Action Consulting (a Redding firm)  $10,000

Fortune Masters Group—also from Redding    $10,000

Farah Farr Consulting   $7421

Janessa Zimmerman   $5500

You have five other consultants listed. FIVE! What's this all about?

It's all about feathering the nests of the permanent minority of failure that runs the CAGOP.

Notice again how consultants have taken over as chairmen for key committees throughout the state. The activists and the grassroots voters do not run things in the California GOP. It's all run by a receding number of well-connected political technicians and wonks who just want to cash a check. They don't care about California. They don't care about the voters. They only care about their nest-egg and their next real estate investment (or the next campaign gig, or they next bid for higher office, etc.)

Julie Haff—LAGOP Treasurer/Executive Director   $4500

Lo and behold, even the Los Angeles County GOP is moving in on the money, too! Now we know how they are managing to keep the lights on for the otherwise abandoned LAGOP Central Committee.

I have looked at Republican State Party programs, platforms, and apparatus in the other states, and it just excites me and depresses me all at once. Florida, Iowa, even Rhode Island and Maine, have active state parties that are looking forward to taking back territory and winning seats in the state legislature or Congress!

And what about California? It's just a sad decline of excuses and corporate payoffs. A handful of people get rich, and the rest of the state suffers. It's almost as though the Democrats have fully infiltrating the California Republican Party to ensure nothing but controlled opposition comes out of them.

Brian Dahle is running for Congress or the Board of Equalization down the line, and in the meantime he is propping up a host of consultants and campaign vendors to keep them happy, so that he can take advantage of them for his next political push. What a let-down.

Report: LAGOP Central Committee a Paper Movement, Propped Up By One Donor (?)

Fake Howard Hakes, CAGOP Vice-Chair for Los Angeles County

Now it all makes sense.

For a while, I could not understand why the California Republican Party (also known as the Oligarchy of Failure by Aaron Parks and others) had appointed Howard Hakes to take over as the regional vice-chair for Los Angeles County.

He was a do-nothing RINO who was foolish enough to go along with Andy Gharakani's grifter-machine consultant garbage.

And they were stupid enough to pose for this picture in 2017:

Howard is the pasty one on the right, by the way. Cheating Chad Mayes, in the middle, was the Republican Permanent Minority Leader in the state assembly in 2017, when the Republican caucus betrayed their base and the state and advanced the Cap-and-Trade renewal-betrayal. Some of those Republicans survived primary challenges that year, and Chad Mayes abandoned the GOP and went rogue as a liberal-leaning independent afterwards.

It was a stunning, embarrassing defeat for the California Republican Party, only made worse in 2018 when Republicans dwindled down to 18 seats in the legislature.

Now, back to Fake Howard Hakes ...

According to Steve Frank's California Political News and Reviews, Hakes is the only guy keeping the lights on at the Los Angeles County GOP Central Committee:

Now you have another problem with the LAGOP—they have little or no money.  Their FPPC# is 742145,  When you go to their filing for 4/3/22 through 6/30/22 you will be surprised.  Go to Schedule G and you will see expenses for rent, Executive Director, phones, Constant Contact and more was NOT paid for by the LAGOP.  No, Schedule G is for the reporting of Committee expenses paid for by a third party—in others words the Committee did not pay its own bills.

They can't even pay their own bills? Are you telling me that the LA County GOP has become the John Fetterman of the California GOP Central Committee system? For those who don't know, John Fetterman is the stroke-victim Democrat US Senate candidate from Pennsylvania who lived off his parents' money into his forties.

The rumor is that Howard Hakes was the payor of the bills.  He has been a major financier of the Do Nothing Committee, just to keep the doors open.  Too bad they can’t give money this year to candidates, for voter registration or a real GOTV effort.  They could not get candidates to run in the June primary in numerous districts.  The biggest County in the State literally has a paper Central Committee.

Paper tiger, paper central committee, weak and beggarly elements across the board.

I had received so much flak because I quit this Do-Nothing committee early last year. I see that my judgment was correct to quit as soon as I realized how corrupt and useless it is. This is a telling vindication.

And now we know why the CAGOP put Fake Howard Hakes in the regional vice-chairmanship: he's willing to spend his own money to keep the lights on and save the failing CAGOP from more embarrassment.

RINO Former CAGOP Vice-Chair Endorses Democrat for Central Valley Congressional Seat

If the end of the CAGOP is not upon us now, I don't know what to say.

The former Vice-Chairman of the California Republican Party, Kristin Olsen, was one more established-backed blight on the state party.

She helped orchestrate the Republican caucus' cap-and-trade betrayal in 2017.

She was having an affair with former GOP Assembly minority leader Chad Mayes, who then cheated on the state party and become an independent voting with the Democrats on a number of issues.

She then left the CAGOP Vice-Chairmanship in the middle of her term citing the challenges and time commitments she faced, but the truth is that grassroots conservatives (including yours truly) filed a censure resolution against her for her moral and political failings, and she wanted to avoid the shameful fallout.

On top of that, she got arrested for DUI, and she ended up pleading no contest. It's as if she is deeply determined to ruin the Republican brand in the state of California.

And she hasn't stopped there.

Check out this tweet from Democrat state assemblyman Adam Gray, who is running for Congress in the 13th District:

With Republican sellouts like Kristin Olsen, who needs Democrats?

The California Republican Party is still governed by self-serving consultants and establishment hacks more interested in lining their pockets and filling up their social calendars instead of winning elections and getting the state of California on the right track.

When will CAGOP delegates wake up and demand structural change in leadership, too? This rampant betrayal by the CAGOP political leadership must cease!

Endorsements for CAGOP Convention 2022

Hey everyone!

Here are my endorsements for the California Republican Party slate at the 2022 CAGOP convention this year.

Senator Dahle is as swampy as they get. He has blown off calls for change from the grassroots for years. Jenny Rae supports amnesty. Leo Zacky is a good guy, but he is pretty much a one-man show at this point. The other candidates are no-name or no traction. And then there's Major Williams, who is a bilking, grifting fraud who claimed that he was running for Governor during the 2021 Recall election, and then at the last minute, he did not file. What a joke!

Anthony Trimino is the only candidate I know who has been out and about getting votes, getting people's attention, and wanting to make any kind of difference. I am supporting Anthony Trimino. (And he was born in Torrance, my hometown. You can't beat that!)

Angela Jacobs is the last minute establishment pick. I will always go against the consultant-class establishment. I am voting for David  Fennell for no other reason than that.

Rachel Hamm has been seeking this seat for months, and she is not afraid to sound the alarm on the rampant voter fraud in the state of California. You know a candidate is good when even the hate-rag The Daily Beast has to defame her! Bernosky is the last-minute establishment pick with outstanding campaign fines. JW Paine is runnig to expose Bernosky. I respect that, but I am focused on general as well as the primary election. Vote for Rachel!

So let’s start off with the Moderate versus Conservative issue. Today, Eric Early is claiming to be the conservative in the AG Race. I remember not long ago when Early was the Center-Left GOP Candidate in 2018 for AG when Stephen Bailey got the nod out of the primary.
I supported Steve Bailey in 2018, and I wish him the best in his bid for state senate this year.
When I was working for Steve Frank in 2021, Eric Early refused to commit to Mr. Frank and join conservatives seeking a voice at the State Party. Given that the CRA has been shunned and attacked by the CRP, I would ask the CRA delegates to at least ask some tough questions of Mr. Early before they endorse him this weekend. The CRA needs to endorse people who will stand for them as much as they do for the candidates.
Eric Early is a RINO puppet for RINO-PLAC in Los Angeles County. I don't care how many times he has run against shiff-head Adam Schiff. He is Andy Gimmecandy's hatchet man, and we need as few of them as possible anywhere near positions of leadership and opportunity.
I have no illusions that Hochman is a solid Republican but not a textbook conservative. However, my experience with Mr. Early indicates that, in deed, he is not that Conservative either.
I want someone who will win and restore order to the state of California. Hochman's credentials are good enough that LA County Sheriff (DEMOCRAT!) Alex Villaneuva has endorsed him! That works for me, since I am now a big supporter of Alex Villanueva.
Then there is the $1.5 Million and counting that Hochman has. Early won’t have enough money to walk and chew gum simultaneously.

Greg Conlon is a relentless perennial candidate who does not have a chance. Robert Howell is a long-standing conservative who has been fighting for this seat for a number of months. Also, Conlon is the go-to establishment candidate for the CAGOP Consultant class. This is tantamount to elder abuse at this point, since the CAGOP establishment keeps pushing this old guy to fill in for any statewide race that does not have  candidate. The guy is 90 years old! Vote for Howell.

Jack Guerrero is the man for this race. He has a long track record on finance issues. He is a Republican who has got elected three times in one of the bluest cities in one of the bluest counties in the state of California.
Andrew Do is a pro-health mandate RINO who has overseen the blue takeover of Orange County, CA. I have lost all respect for that man.

Mark Meuser. He has fought the good fight for many conservatives throughout the state of California. He is somewhat of a perennial candidate, but at least he is willing to do the work of going around the state trying to make a case for his election bid.

I have known George for a long time. He has taken the time and effort to reach out to people throughout the state. He works hard and will put in the necessary effort to win this seat. He is optimistic about his chances, but walks the walk, too.

Final Thoughts
I can't say that I have a lot of hope for this year, at least in California (well, it's not as though there is any hope for any year in California these days). The CAGOP has been so corrupted with the consultant-class hustle, but at least the political establishment is running out of statewide candidates who lose gracefully only to ensure that some well-connected consultant gets a paycheck for running a crappy campaign.
We'll see what happens after November 8th, 2022. Without a doubt, Republicans will take back the House of Representatives. Kevin McCarthy will be in line for the Speakership, although I think it's a great idea for the new bench of populist GOP House Reps to push for President Trump to be the Next Speaker of the House.
If McCarthy does get the gavel (and I am not too thrilled about that probability), that RINO Chairwoman Jessica Patterson will be gone, and some other RINO placeholder will jockey to take her place. I wonder who that could be ...

WINNING! MassResistance Pressure Pays Off, Forces Fake Man from Office of Republican Women Federated Group

“Transgender" man elected as president of California Republican women’s group! He finally resigned after pressure ignited by MassResistance.

RINO statewide Chairman of the group had distorted by-laws to expel women who voiced outrage.

Another example of the GOP establishment’s embrace of LGBT radicalism – and the need to fight back.

February 24, 2022
ALT TEXT Gina Roberts is a busy man. Besides being the "female" president of a GOP women's group, he was vice-president of the state-wide homosexual group Log Cabin Republicans of California.

One of the biggest divides between conservative Republicans and the establishment RINOs (who run the Party) is over the radical LGBT agenda.

The situation has worsened recently. As we’ve reported (herehere, and here), for years the LGBT movement has dominated CPAC (the so-called Conservative Political Action Conference), where Republican leaders annually go to pontificate. Last year, the Republican National Committee and President Trump formally announced their “Pride Coalition” to fully integrate the LGBT movement into the Republican Party. In November, twenty-one Republican Congressmen co-sponsored the so-called “Fairness Act” which would have embedded the radical LGBT demands in federal law. It’s not just the national GOP. Last year, every Republican State Representative in Massachusetts but one signed a statement that religious beliefs against homosexual behavior are “inappropriate and disturbing” and have no place in the Republican Party.

But at a certain point the rank and file need to step up and draw the line.

In November 2020, a MassResistance activist in southern California contacted Arthur Schaper, our Organization Director (who lives in the area). She was very upset because the Escondido chapter of the California Federation of Republican Women had just elected a cross-dressing “transgender” man as its next president. She could not believe this was happening! She begged MassResistance to get involved and help overturn this.

ALT TEXT Gina Roberts was sworn in as president of the CFRW Escondido chapter by "conservative" Congressman Darrell Issa, as the other RINOS in the group looked on.

Background: California Federation of Republican Women

The California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) was founded in 1925 to give women a voice in politics and governance at the local, state, and national levels. Women tended to vote Republican after receiving the franchise in 1920 (and in some states, before the 19th Amendment had passed). This was because it was Republicans who had pressed for them to get the vote. The National Federation of Republican Women formed in 1938. So the institution has a long history. California’s chapter is still one of the largest in the country, having numerous local units throughout the state.

According to the organization’s by-laws, men can only join as associate members. They cannot vote and they cannot become officers of the club.

Cross-dressing man identifies as a Republican “woman”

The man who was elected to be the Escondido chapter president calls himself “Gina” Roberts. He had already been making a name for “herself” by pushing the transgender agenda into the California Republican Party as a “Log Cabin Republican” member, and by getting elected to various local town boards. He received glowing press from the leftist media.

ALT TEXT The leftist media ate it up!

Not surprisingly, a few months after his election, the national CPAC convention (in March 2021)  welcomed Roberts (along with well-known “gay” Republican Ric Grenell) with open arms.

ALT TEXT Gina's tweet from CPAC.

MassResistance gets to work!

MassResistance was determined to help California’s Republican women halt this insanity.

Arthur began contacting other CFRW units throughout the state. Many of these women are dedicated MassResistance supporters and activists in pro-family battles across California.

Members of the South Bay CFRW group in San Diego filed official letters with their state leadership. Other members informed their club leaders that they would leave the organization if the state and national leaders did not rectify this situation.

CFRW state leaders: In the “trans” tank

Arthur contacted the leaders of the Escondido group to find out why they would allow this. Shockingly, previous club leaders and officers at the time engaged in non-stop gaslighting: “She is a woman. We did elect a woman to be our President,” they told Arthur. Their denial of reality was truly disturbing.

The leadership in some local units, as well as in the state organization, sounded off with the usual excuses: “We have our orders. We cannot do anything about it. We will get sued if we try to prevent him from becoming a member as a woman,” they said.

The CFRW state leadership was particularly adamant that Gina Roberts should continue to lead Escondido group.

ALT TEXT It's not just the CFRW leadership. This is supported by the state GOP. Here is Gina with California State GOP Chairman Jessica Patterson. (Apparently, Patterson has succumbed to the "transgender mass formation psychosis" that's going around.)

But across the country: More outrage!

Arthur reached out to Federation of Republican Women chapters across the country as well, urging them to pressure the National Federation leaders to do something to stop this. The Montana and Idaho chapters, and to some extent Virginia's, were supportive. The Texas chapter was the best. One Texas RFW group reacted to MassResistance’s call by changing their by-laws to include only “biological” women! The national office, however, was not interested in getting involved.

The California backlash grows

As word got out, more and more Republican women became angry. As an American Thinker article noted:

Immediately, MassResistance activists in the club, as well as surrounding CFRW clubs, started sharing and protesting how the organization’s leadership had rejected its own bylaws. They and others wondered why they should elect Republicans with an eye to smaller government, lower taxes, strong military, right-to-life, pro-Second Amendment, adherence to the U.S. Constitution, and all the other GOP talking points if the Republicans are going to vote and act like Democrats?

A MassResistance activist in Orange County who was a local CFRW member was furious. She began an email campaign, writing to other CFRW members across the state. She sounded the alarm that men were taking over women’s Republican positions. And she castigated the “woke agenda” taking over the California Republican Party.

October 2021: The state CFRW convention

In October 2021, during the statewide CFRW convention, the Orange County MassResistance activist and several others spoke out and even attempted to introduce an emergency amendment. But the leadership took extraordinary steps to silence them. As American Thinker reported:

Some members at the organization’s October 2021 convention in Rancho Mirage pushed back against the CFRW executive board’s unilateral decision that “woman” should be based on identity rather than biology. To that end, they attempted to bring an emergency bylaw amendment to the floor.

Yet each time someone came to the microphone, leadership cut off the mic and angrily told the member that she was out of order. Finally, one woman walked away from the turned-off microphone and yelled into the cavernous conference room about what was happening.

Some members were learning about this issue for the first time. Others had known but thought they were the only ones who felt it was wrong. A few had complained to the executive board and were called transphobic.

Several were annoyed that “conservative” Congressman Darrell Issa went along with the woke parade. “Republicans like Issa are exactly what is wrong with the Republican Party,” claimed one frustrated member adding, “Why should I volunteer my time to elect woke Republicans?”

Two CA chapters leave the organization

All of this only ignited more outrage across the state. Soon after the October convention, the East Valley and San Clemente CFRW chapters – including over two thousand members – voted to break away from their parent organization. (East Valley CFRW is now East Valley Republican Patriots. San Clemente Area CFRW is now East Valley Area Republican Women.) Reportedly, there were several issues roiling those groups, but the trangender issue was the final straw!

Retribution against conservative member!

In retaliation for this MassResistance activist’s efforts to expose the flagrant violation of the organization’s by-laws, Janet Price, the state CWFR president, wrote a letter to the woman’s local chapter, stating that she could no longer be a member of the CWFR local club or of the federated groups as a whole!

Price concocted a series of Orwellian arguments, asserting violations of various bylaws: (1) not “cooperating with the California Republican Party”; (2) “working against the goals of CFRW” and the national group; and (3) violating an ethical ban not to “speak disparagingly in public of any Republican or candidate.” (This absurd ban would keep a member running in a GOP primary from speaking critically of her opponent.)

A few weeks later, her chapter formally kicked her out, and sent her a check refunding her dues.

Of course, this only inflamed the situation even more. She continued to write extensively about this, and more CFRW members became angry at their RINO leadership.

Gina Roberts resigns!

These efforts, along with the ongoing reports and complaints from other chapters around the state, clearly made an impact. On February 7, 2022, Gina Roberts finally resigned from the Escondido CFRW chapter. The official reason given for his resignation (as told to us by one of the Escondido officers) was an employment commitment.

Final thoughts

Republican activists across California are grateful to MassResistance for taking on this battle.

Many Republican women were extremely upset when they heard about this ridiculous, unnatural, and lunatic situation. But they felt alone and feared retribution by the often vicious RINO establishment. (It’s a common tactic among totalitarians of all stripes. The “cancel culture” also in exists in the leftist GOP.)

MassResistance made it safe for them to speak their minds – and demand a stop to this outrageous and degrading situation. This may seem to have been a small battle in the larger scheme of things, but it represents something much bigger!

WINNING! CAGOP Delegation Issues "No Endorsement" for Recall Candidate

 This is incredible!

The CAGOP Grassroots are fighting back and WINNING across the state of California.

For the last three months, I have been working with grassroots activists throughout the state of California to stop a Faulconer Jam-Down endorsement from the California Republican Party establishment.

The Consultant Class that runs the leadership in the CAGOP was committed at all costs to getting a Faulconer endorsement. Lots of rich donors were going to put big money behind the Democrat in RINO clothing Kevin Faulconer.

It would be yet another powerplay to sell what is left of the CAGOP down river and further turn the state of California into an unsalvageable third-world one-party dystopia.

Thankfully, I got busy with my delegates, as did others throughout the state and we pushed back. In every committee, in every meeting, we lambasted the leadership demanding that there be no move, no vote on any endorsement for any one candidate.

AND WE DID IT!

Here's Queen Jessica's press release on the Endorsement convention today:

Finally, the Rebel Alliance of grassroots conservatives fought back and won against the Empire! I can't wait to see what happens next!

VOTE YES on Recall -- September 14, 2021!
