Cancel Culture: Republican Club of Laguna Woods Accepts Men in Dresses, Rejects Biology, Cancels MassResistance

Well, the decline and fall of the California Republican Party continues unabated.

The CAGOP has liberals masquerading as Republicans running the party brass. The whole apparatus has turned into a patronage operation. Fewer party leaders are actually interested in running for office, or in winning elections, shaping the culture, turning California into a livable state once again.

Instead, they continue to pander and cave to the Left, turning themselves into Democrat-lite. Why vote for the Lite version when you can go all in and vote for the Democrat Party completely?

The CAGOP top brass is interested in watering down the party platform even further. They want to cave on the fight for life, marriage, family, etc. I am sure in a matter of time they will start saying "It's OK to modify Prop 13" and "Guns aren't really that important."

At any rate, the latest sign of this tragic trend occurred for me earlier this month. To get the whole story, I have to go back to July, 2023, when I attended the latest Orange County Republican Assembly picnic, based in Stanton, CA.

One would think that the most conservative Republicans attend this event. The "Who's Who" of conservative activists, what few remain in California, often show up to this program and tell everyone how to keep fighting the good fight. One of the attendees, the husband of a city councilwoman in South Orange County, heard that I work for MassResistance, and he was really excited to meet me. I eventually connected him with our President, Brian Camenker, because he wanted to speak with him. Why? MassResistance had presented key oppo research to Republican voters in 2008 and 2012 telling them to reject Romney at all costs!

Fast forward a decade later, and conservatives like this man were still grateful for the work that our organization had accomplished!

Then another club leader, Pat Micone of the Republican Club of Laguna Woods, met with me. We talked about a number of great things, including MassResistance's fight against the LGBT agenda in all of its forms. It really seemed that we had a lot of great things in common. She even invited me to give a presentation to her club, the Republican Club of Laguna Woods, about MassResistance!

They suggested that I give a presentation on the first Friday in September. I was prepared for that date, and I started putting together a key presentation for them just a week before. They contacted me, and they said that their calendar was actually going to be full for that day, so they suggested that I give my presentation in October.

Here were the first remarks that I received from Pat Micone, just before I sent them my PowerPoint presentation:

I'm copying this message with our VP of Programs Ro Kendall because we are planning our October 6th meeting and thought it a good idea to check in with you, confirm your availability, and ask for reveiw of your topics and  issues you plan to present.

It's important to remind you that our members' ages range from their 60to 90's...a retired group, who we encourage to participate & get involved.

 We have your Governing BOARD meeting tomorrow at 10 am and if possible will you be able to send us a brief reveiw of what you plan to share. You are coming a long way... so we want to set all of us up for success and impact.

Your personal testimony you shared with me at the picnic will be valuable..how you came to do what you are doing now & why.

What are the topics and issues you think best to present and discuss...and how we can participate & support your movements efforts.

I sent them my full presentation, which talks about MassResistance, our goals, our efforts, our effectiveness in fighting the culture war against the LGBT agenda in all of its forms. In that presentaiton, I also went after so-called LGBT "Republicans," and pointed out that for any political party, or any political movement, to be effective, you have to stand for truth, tell the truth, fight for the truth, and not give into lies.

She acknowledged that the PowerPoint presentation that I sent to her was good!

She then comes forward and shares with me that one of the members of the Republican Club of Laguna Woods is a man in a dress. The fact that Pat Micone described this man as a "transgender woman" right away was really disturbing. Whatever happened to standing for truth? I wonder if Pat Micone, who is a woman, can even define "What is a woman?"?

Notice how in the response above Pat Micone insists on calling this man in a dress "a woman," and that "she" is a good person .... and "getting active in our Republican [sic]"

First of all, there is nothing good about a man stealing and deceiving the general public, calling himself a "woman." There is nothing good about a group of people, or a community, or a country for that matter, celebrating someone who lives in a delusion, engages in deception, and make everyone go along with the dysfunction.

I also found it particularly galling that they added he had been a "transgender woman ... for 30 years," as if that makes the whole thing better. It doesn't matter how long a disordered, confused individual pretends to be something that they are not. A man cannot become a woman, and a woman cannot become a man.

One would think that the Republican Club of Laguna Woods would have some integrity on this issue. After all, one of their previous guests was key Epoch Times commentator Siyamak Khorrami, who has not been afraid to tell the truth about many problems in the state of California:

This is total madness. And this is in a Republican club in what used to be "conservative" Orange County. Congressman William Dannemeyer must be rolling over in his grave. As for Congressman Robert "B-1 Bob" Dornan, it's no surprise that he moved to Virginia and stayed there at this point. What real conservative Republican would want to sit around and watch not only the state of California, but the so-called conservative opposition party collapse into a morass of liberal irrelevance?

So, the Republican Club of Laguna Woods is willing to sacrifice truth so that they could have another member. Really?

What's next? Will the Republican Club of Laguna Woods accept Democrats? Perhaps they already have  ...

At any rate, here came the final response from Pat:

Why did I get this message? Pat Micone had been so excited to have me present to her club. She was interested in my story, she was aware of my views on key issues. Then all of a sudden, she and her club said: "No thanks. Hit the road." 

Why?

They didn't want to offend the man in a dress. They probably have out-homosexual members of their club, too. And worse yet, they are worried about offending the weakened and liberalized Republican Party of Orange County. They probably feared that diminishing club would cut off what few remaining privileges remain for them if they had me speak.

This the California Republican Party, folks. This is the state of the Orange County Republican Party, too, especially in South Orange County, one of (what used to be) the most conservative sections of the most conservative county in California, if not the entire United States.

How demoralizing!

But I refuse to give up standing for what is right. It's time for activists to stand up to all of these lies, and if necessary start their own movement to get people elected to local and higher office. These "Republican" clubs are becoming a joke, a bunch of people who sit around, eat a nice lunch (or dinner), listen to a speaker tell them how terrible Democrats are and how bad things are in California, and then ... go back to doing nothing; and along with their quiescence, they invite confused men wearing dresses and call them "good people."

When does the insanity stop?! Are older adults so cowardly now, that they refuse to stand up to a confused man and tell him: "You are not a woman!"?

RINO Former CAGOP Vice-Chair Endorses Democrat for Central Valley Congressional Seat

 

If the end of the CAGOP is not upon us now, I don't know what to say.

The former Vice-Chairman of the California Republican Party, Kristin Olsen, was one more established-backed blight on the state party.

She helped orchestrate the Republican caucus' cap-and-trade betrayal in 2017.

She was having an affair with former GOP Assembly minority leader Chad Mayes, who then cheated on the state party and become an independent voting with the Democrats on a number of issues.

She then left the CAGOP Vice-Chairmanship in the middle of her term citing the challenges and time commitments she faced, but the truth is that grassroots conservatives (including yours truly) filed a censure resolution against her for her moral and political failings, and she wanted to avoid the shameful fallout.

On top of that, she got arrested for DUI, and she ended up pleading no contest. It's as if she is deeply determined to ruin the Republican brand in the state of California.

And she hasn't stopped there.

The California Republican Party is still governed by self-serving consultants and establishment hacks more interested in lining their pockets and filling up their social calendars instead of winning elections and getting the state of California on the right track.

When will CAGOP delegates wake up and demand structural change in leadership, too? This rampant betrayal by the CAGOP political leadership must cease! 

Open Letter to CAGOP Leadership: Jessica Patterson Must Resign

To the leaders of the CAGOP:

 I have no choice at this time but to call for the immediate resignation of current CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Patterson.

In her latest offensive affront to the state party, here she is glamorizing a confused man who thinks he is a woman: Gina Roberts. 

This is a disgusting disregard for the National as well as State Republican Party platforms. Furthermore, Mr. Roberts pressed herself into a local chapter of the California Republican Women Federated, becoming the first male president of a Republican club which is designed for WOMEN. This is a complete dishonor to women, as well as to men and the biological beauty of the differences between the two sexes. He also refuses to go on record whether she would oppose biological males such as herself competing against women in women's sports. Roberts has also declared that he is ready to use vexatious litigation to force any private firm to let him use the bathroom of his choice. This is not "Live and Let Live" Conservatism by any means.

This is totally non-existent, of course, and the fact is that no man can become a woman, and no one can become a man, no matter how many surgeries, no matter how many laws are passed. aschaper1.blogspot.com

Transgenderism is a mental illness, not a civil right. A political party that cannot tell the difference between male and female, and that cannot understand that a man cannot become a woman has no business seeking political power. This is a travesty, a joke, and is turning the Republican Party into a laughingstock.

I am astounded that our failed leadership in the state California Republican Party is so determined to pander to corrupted, broken identity politics, instead of investing in a serious grassroots movement to engage, enrage, and organized frustrated citizens to fight back and take back their local, county, and state governments in California. Hispanic voters are switching rapidly to the CAGOP, and they are substantially pro-life, pro-family, pro-America. They do not support this LGBT madness. Not one bit.

This past Tuesday, I was at the Downey, California city council meeting, where the vast majority of residents in the majority-Hispanic community spoke out against the city council's decision to fly the LGBT Pride flag over city hall. The current city council is 4-1 Democrat, and the only Republican on the council, Mayor Claudia Frometa, bravely voted AGAINST that perverse proposal.  

The Republican Party needs to stand for cultural as well as fiscal conservatism. Chairwoman Patterson has clearly chosen to disdain the cultural bases of our party. She needs to step down. Patterson has repeatedly been criticized in local CAGOP party circles as well as conservative newsletters and blogs for doing nothing to build the state party. She is more beholden to a corporate, consultant culture class that wants to make money rather than shape the culture and win elections. It is of little consequence to me that she supposedly won re-election as chairwoman earlier this year, considering all of the voter problems and by-law violations which had occurred and have been widely documented.

Jessica Patterson, it is time for you to step down. I expect you to tender your resignation shortly.

RINO Mario Guerra Defends Homosexuality, Calls Catholic, Pro-Family Views "Hate Speech"

Lettter from RINO former Downey, CA Mario Guerra, in response to my rebuke toward RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel's PRIDE Tweet:

Dear Mr. Schaper,

I felt the need to respond to your email this morning.

I am a member of the CAGOP Board of Directors, and I was one of those who received this email from you today.

I am also the former Mayor of Downey, current Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, a proud Republican, and a member of the Catholic Clergy (ordained in 2002). I am telling you this, so you know that my response to you is totally from me personally. 

I am NOT speaking on behalf of anyone nor any organization that I belong to nor have in the past. These are my personal thoughts.

I have been married for 35 years, have 5 grown kids and 4 grandchildren. I was a refugee that arrived in this country on one of the first freedom flights escaping communism. Like many immigrants my parents gave up everything to come to this amazing country. I had three brothers who have passed away. Two of the three were gay. One died from AIDS, another one from cancer and the other from a plane crash.

I write this general information to give you some background on who I am and what I represent.

I loved all my brothers. While two were gay they were part of who I am as a family. As a Christian I can vouch for what I know to be God's love for them as much as me. 

I was embarrassed in my early years about their homosexuality and would not want my friends to know. I overcame this as I matured, understood who they were and as my faith grew. They did not choose to be gay by the way, just like you or I choose to be straight.

Your email and thoughts are disgusting and insulting. 

We are better than that and I am proud to be part of a party that is inclusive to everyone. Including our gay family and friends. Our party stands for equality and principles of how we treat others.

While I do not usually respond to such unbelievable hateful rhetoric, I couldn’t help myself in this case. I felt the need to respond to you. I have been praying for guidance all morning since I read your email.

What we should do, out of respect, is have the attitude of presence, accompaniment, sincerity, prayer and invocation together with everyone. We all need to be and live as true children of God.

Perhaps the best way to understand pride is to imagine what you would say to a young person who finally summoned up the courage to tell you that they are LGBTQ. You know that God created them, that God loves them, and you know that God wants you to accept who they are. At least I do. I have no doubt in my heart.

Awareness of your own dignity, which is closer to what pride month is: a celebration of the human dignity of a group of people who for so long have been looked upon as less with disgust from people you. Treated with hate, just like you are portraying them in your email.

As a Catholic Clergy I have been proud of the Catholic Gay and Lesbian Ministry we have had in the Los Angeles Archdiocese for over 20 years. Most people do not know that. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that everyone “must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.”

I am happy to see that our party nationally is accepting of everyone. As they say in politics, our tent is big, and everyone is welcome. We should be spending time on electing Republicans and avoiding hate speech. We all want the government out of our churches, out of our bank accounts and out of our bedrooms. We should ask no less for our party. We should push hate speech like yours out of our party also.

Ivanka Trump, President Trump's daughter and presidential advisor, recently stated, "I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy." 

I will pray for you and those who feel the way you do.

Help us to see that every human being is an image-bearer who must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Keep us from engaging in hateful and harassing behavior toward any individual or group.

Help us heavenly father and others to see that in your goodness and grace, you have created all human beings in your image.

CAGOP Chair Jessica Patterson: Corporate RINO Wrapped Up in Identity Politics

Robin Hvidston, the Director of We the People Rising, attended the San Bernardino County Republican Party Central Committee meeting a few days ago.

She recorded a brief video of Raul Rodriguez, the head of America First Latinos, who asked Chairwoman Patterson if she was a Republican or a RINO.

He took a few pictures with her, too. Her answer was quite soft-spoken, not with any gusto or strength attached to it.

She said the CA GOP supports Trump and that the CA GOP has a platform for border security. She finished by saying that COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM is the answer.  She never answered whether or not she supports building the wall.  Comprehensive immigration reform would legalize illegal aliens who do not have a criminal background and is considered to be a massive amnesty program. She said that the CA GOP will focus on registering new voters. Ballot harvesting, she pointed out, is now legal in California and she claims ballot harvesting will be a part of the CA GOP plan in 2020 to win elections. Asking that Republicans hold "parties" and invite others to share how they will vote was included in the ballot harvesting issue. She said there will be paid or "bounty" actions in the GOP ballot harvesting The Republicans, she said, need to "touch how people feel and touch their hearts." She plans, in part, on doing this by telling "her story." She talked a lot about fundraising among major donors and small amount donors. She asked that everyone donate to the California Republican Party, even if it is only a small monthly donation. The CA GOP will work to make certain that every election has a Republican on the ballot because with the top 2 tier system in California there have been elections, such as the U.S. Senate seat, that do not have a Republican candidate on the ballot. She said the CA GOP is focusing on electing a Republican governor. After her presentation, she took questions from the audience for about a half an hour. And here are my responses to all of this.

I could have saved the team a trip. I know that she is a RINO. She is a corporate-backed shill who got a big boost from Kevin McCarthy's machine to be the Establishment front-runner. She helped the abortive Meg Whitman in her campaign for governor in 2010. In spite of the millions upon millions spent by the political class in this state during that year, Republicans lost bigly across the board.

Illegal immigration, public sector cronyism, the cycle of poverty and eternal Democratic hegemony, all of this is dragging down the state. There are more people in California who vote for a living rather than work for a living. The retirees from public jobs and contracts are drawing in so much money post-retirement, it's just a matter of time before the state goes bust.

Now let's talk more about Jessica "Millan" Patterson.

She coasts into the graces of the mainstream media because she is a

1. Millenial -- actually she isn't, since she and I are the same age. Both of us were born in 1980. We are actually Generation X'ers. She is way off. Already, she has been dishonest about her background.

2. Hispanic. She is married to an Anglo and has two kids, I guess.

3. She is female. Republicans are trying to play identity politics as the one way to get ahead in California, and it will never work. Democrats go after Republicans based on Demographics, but none of it really matters for the Democratic voters, many of whom vote Dem because they get something for the vote.

Robin also points out that Chairwoman Patterson did not talk about building the wall along the Southern Border. She simply refused to speak to that question. She is in full support of "comprehensive immigration reform", which is about as perverse and misleading as "Comprehensive sex-ed", a disgusting push to normalize sexual perversion in the state of California. "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" means amnesty, amnesty, amnesty.

This is not a winning formula.

The press has given Patterson a great deal of cover, claiming that she is not against President Trump. However, she has refused to announce ongoing support for the President.

Going back to the beginning of the report, anyone who starts with "We are a Big Tent Party" has announced why more people are leaving the party. There is no longer any commitment, any interest in winning based on principle. Half the article reports on her focus to raise money. All the money in the world is not going to turn the hearts and minds of men to vote differently. Core values are essential to win elections. The California Republican Party needed to focus on shaping the culture, working to undo the corrupting influence of the marginalized media.

How about working with local and country GOP groups to make a difference for the better?

Let's not forget that Czarina Jessica was more interested in colluding with the corrupt leadership in Los Angeles County. Members of the different assembly central committees are now barred from entering the central committee meetings on a regular basis. Andy Gharakani is not even a member of the Central Committee, yet he decides who enters and who does not.

This kind of corruption is happening all over the state of California. Some central committees don't have enough members to hold meetings, while other chairs control meetings through their ownership of certain buildings. Others have resorted to stealing keys and changing the locks on doors, too.

It's crazy! There is no enforcement of the rules.

Even worse, the consultant class which now runs the California Republican Party has no interest in winning or losing. They just want to make money. They look for big donors and rake in big money, then fritter some of the funding to the candidates. It's all about the money, that's it.

And the rest of the state loses out. More than a viable two-party structure, the common-sense governance sought by many is all but gone because of corporatism.

And Jessica Patterson is the perfect figurehead for all of it. The two-party system as it stands has collapsed in the state of California. I choose to remain a registered Republican because I align and endorse the national platform unreservedly. I just wish that Republican operatives in California did, too.
