MoveOn.Org "Mourns" Loss of "Far-Right" Republican Liz Cheney

MoveOn.org just sent out their latest vapid hit piece against conservatives.

Well, actually another sell-out corporate RINO, but MoveOn.org is so extreme, that they consider her "far right."

Check out their latest fundraising eblast:

Dear MoveOn member,

Far-right Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney—who wants to defund Planned Parenthood, is endorsed by the NRA, and opposes a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers—just lost her seat in Congress.1

Not because she's too radical. But because she's not MAGA extremist enough.

Cheney, the daughter of warmonger and former Vice President Dick Cheney, is one of the few Republicans who stood up to Donald Trump and publicly—and rightfully—blamed him for the January 6 white supremacist insurrection.

And Tuesday night, after Trump endorsed her opponent, she lost her Wyoming Republican primary in a landslide, losing by a massive 37-point margin.2

This is exactly the strategy Trump and Steve Bannon have been planning and executing for months: Take over the entire Republican Party by electing ultra-MAGA candidates to critical positions.

In fact, over 250 Trump-style election deniers have won GOP primaries this cycle. Many of these conspiracy theorist candidates are running in swing states to oversee elections. If they win, they'll oversee the 2024 election when Trump runs for president. And they'll have the power to certify Trump the winner, no matter the true will of the people.

That's why MoveOn is investing an unprecedented $30 million to defeat the MAGA GOP and stop Trump's plot.

Arthur, can you donate $3 a week to ensure our midterm election program is fully funded and operational through Election Day? We must meet our goal in order to stop Trump's coup. (MoveOn will bill your weekly donation to your credit card once a month starting today and will contact you shortly after the election to see if you want to modify or cancel your weekly donation.)

Count me in.

No, I'm sorry, I can't chip in weekly.

As we saw Tuesday night in Wyoming, Trump's plot to take over the entire GOP and tear down anyone in his way is working.

This was the Washington Post's headline on Monday: "Election deniers march toward power in key 2024 battlegrounds."3

Election deniers like Doug Mastriano running for governor of Pennsylvania, who believes the popular vote in his state is nonbinding and who is so anti-American that prominent Republicans have endorsed his Democratic opponent.4

And Adam Laxalt, running for U.S. Senate in Nevada, who spreads so many conspiracy theories about voter fraud that he is called "the Nevada version of Rudy Giuliani."5

And Mark Finchem, running for secretary of state in Arizona, who rioted on January 6 and is a member of the white supremacist Oath Keepers.6

And Jim Marchant, who is running for secretary of state in Nevada, who openly declares he would not have certified the election results for Joe Biden.7

And Ryan Kelly, the GOP frontrunner for governor of Michigan, another January 6 rioter, who has pledged to eliminate drop boxes, same-day voter registration, and automatic mail-in ballots.8

And Kari Lake, running for governor in Arizona, who has pledged to decertify the 2020 results, end mail-in voting, and impose racist voter ID requirements.9

Without overstating it, stopping Trump from returning to the White House in 2024 may well depend on the 2022 midterm elections—and the unprecedented work MoveOn is planning to do in the next three months.

But we need your help to do it.

If you are able, will you chip in $3 a week to run TV ads, put up billboards, hire organizers, and do more to stop the GOP this November? As a member-funded organization, we depend on MoveOn members like you for the financial resources to run our campaigns. Giving weekly is one of the best ways to support our work. (MoveOn will bill your weekly donation to your credit card once a month starting today and will contact you shortly after the election to see if you want to modify or cancel your weekly donation.)

Count me in.

No, I'm sorry, I can't chip in weekly.

Thanks for all you do.

MoveOn.org is just plain sad. They are so desperate to raise money any way that they can, that now they are siding with hateful, deranged, self-serving neocons like Liz Cheney.
