Kathy Halvorsen’s letter to the editor is liberal “group think”, her talking points reveal it. Librarians and the library aren’t “under attack”. Locals valuing childhood innocence (licensed professional doctors, psychologists, ministers, and educators) haven’t attacked librarians. They’ve defended childhood innocence in public by quoting moral, national, and state laws; laws of nature, and the morality upon which America’s law is based. They’ve exercised free speech. 

Meanwhile liberals play the victim, preventing observers from realizing books exposing children to sodomy and other perversity are child abuse. Liberal victimhood is a deliberately distracting straw-man. No rational adult wants taxes to pervert and destroy a generation with sexualized propaganda. False “victims” mischaracterize censorship; as if childhood freedom requires exposure to hardcore pornography. We don’t endorse pro smoking, drinking, or drug-use propaganda for kids. So why are liberals pushing known perversity? Leftist buzzwords mischaracterize responsible adults as 'religious zealots'. I believe God, but I’m less religious than founding fathers who fought and died in the American revolution; who signed the declaration of independence and framed our constitution. Many were ministers. 

The library IS a political entity built by politicians serving our community. Our library board was politically appointed. Community standards apply. Kathy pretends morally responsible citizens protecting children from perversion are like 1930s Nazis. “Nazi” stands for “national socialist”. They were ultra-radical lefties. They burned books to control thought. Today’s liberal elite censor conservative thought online, push fake news (propaganda), and virtue signal to justify abuse. Modern “democrats” are more fascist and socialist than any right-wing group. Look up fascist goals and implementation tactics in the library; there’s the liberal playbook. Liberals dox dissenters, deface churches, and play the victim: modernized Nazi tactics. “Conservatives” don’t censor adults or adult materials. We do protect immature children from sexualization, perversity and obviously wicked propaganda.

The Parent Movement in California Compared to Idaho

It's been 2+ years since COVID-19 was foisted upon the world, and in that time parents realized that they needed to fight back against their local school boards to ensure the health and well-being of their children.

It was a disastrous overreach to an illness that was an overhyped version of the flu, nothing more. Sadly, the whole world panicked and went into shut-down mode all over. Later research has confirmed that masks do not work, that they were never necessary in the first place, and lockdowns had a negligible effect (if any) in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Parents learned what many pro-family activists had been saying for years: the schools are not safe for kids. They are indoctrinating children with all kinds of filth and perversion and calling it "good." They don't put the well-being of the children first. They care more about which political lobby has the power in the school district: the teachers unions and the contractors and the administrative bloat within the school district and throughout the state.

School districts are not safe paces. They are pushing mental illnesses like homosexuality and transgenderism, all under the guise of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. They are teaching kids to hate themselves and to hate each other because of their skin color.

They are not teaching children who to read, write, do math, think, create, build, or grow.

There is no accountability in government schools, since once a teacher passes tenure, it is almost impossible to fire a teacher

A number of parents started to band together to fight back against the health overreach as well as the critical racist theory and sexual degeneracy being pushed on children. But they didn't want to fight it as hard as it needed.

I remember meeting with a number of parents, telling them that they had to confront school board members and teachers, call them out for the abuse that they were visiting on students in the classroom. A Some parents were willing to share tips with me, and some other residents in the city also let me know what was going on.

However, when I told parents how they had to confront and call out teachers, not just the elected officials, I was surprised by how many of them balked at the idea. They didn't want to go aggressively after the very people who were pushing all the bad stuff on the children in the first place. In one Zoom meeting, a parent actually told me that she was friends with one of the teachers whom I was exposing and confronting! I was sickened!

That parent was more interested in maintaining a cordial, civil friendship with a creepy teacher instead of fighting back and protecting her kids and other kids in the local school district. This was really frustrating.

The more that I think about it, the more outraged I become. I hate to say it, but some of these parents were de facto enablers of the very abuse and bad policies that they wanted to stop, or rather that they claimed that they wanted to stop!

In contrast to a number of the parents I tried to work with in the South Bay section of Los Angeles County, I just found this incredible mother, a real profile in courage, in Northern Idaho. She and other parents work with the Idaho chapter of MassResistance, the organization that I work form, too. For the last year, they have been confronting and calling out the local library board for allowing all kinds of lew materials in the children's section of the library.

Yes, this is pornography. Will you just get over yourselves and get rid of these books? You people are disgusting! Disgusting! How dare you have books like that in the library? You need to quit. Because you people are a den of perverts!

When they tried to cut her off, and when they told her to abide by the library code of conduct, this mother doubled down on her outrage:

You’re so civilized that you allow things like this for 12-year-olds to read. You are really beyond belief. If we didn’t have that special clause in the law, you would all be going to jail for providing this stuff to children.

The special clause is the obscenity exemption, which allows libraries and schools to push all kinds of filth on children under the banner of "education."

This is the kind of outrage that I was hoping to see from more parents in the South Bay in Los Angeles County. I was really hoping that parents would get this angry, outraged enough that they would confront the evil in the local libraries and the local schools. Sadly, too many of the parents wanted to stay civil, they wanted to ensure that their friendships with local groups did not get jeopardized. All too many of the parents were A-OK with homosexuality and transgenderism, just "don't push it on the kids ...." What an abusive outrage!

It just sickened me, and I got so tired of this cowardice. In contrast to the relative weakness of parents in Los Angeles County, I am glad to see parents in Idaho, Virginia, and elsewhere rising up with unfettered vehemence, demanding an end to this perversion in the local libaries. They are targeting the staffmembers that allow this trash in the libraries, as well, which is all the more important!

Why Does Idaho State Senator Patti Anne Lodge Support Child Sex Mutilation and Obscenity in Libraries?

  The Idaho State House passed two great bills by wide margins two weeks ago:

1. H 666, legislation that would repeal the obscenity exemption in state code, which unscrupulous school staff and library staff have used in order to push pornography and obscene material on children.

2. H 675, legislation that would ban the horrific practice of sexual mutilation of minors, chemical castration and surgical mutilation.

These bills will save children's lives. These bills will preserve children's health and well-being.

No library, no school should be pushing sexually explicit, perverse materials on children. There is no excuse for horrendously explicit materials like the pages in GenderQueer  or This Book is Gay to be available to children--or to anyone!--in public libraries or public schools.

And yet, there is one major roadblock to these bills getting passed into law in the state of Idaho:

Her name is Patti Anne Lodge.

She is the state senator in charge of the State Senate State Affairs Committee.

She has been receiving all kinds of false emails and phone calls from "trans" parents throughout the state for the last two weeks. Most of these "parents" are not really parents, anyway, since LGBT activists have gotten very good at lying to legislators, giving the impression that they are trying to prevent their "trans-kids" from committing suicide.

Two weeks ago, Senator Lodge and her colleagues were ready to host hearings on H 675. Now, all of a sudden, she is getting cold feet? What's going on here?!

Why does Senator Lodge think that mutilation of a child counts as "health care"? Does she really think that hysterical parents getting swept up in social media social contagion have all the answers? And why is she ignoring the numerous testimonies of men and women who have left the whole "transition" cult? March 12th was De-Transition Day around the world. More men and women are coming out of "coming out," and it is time to listen to those voices.

Intellectuals, scholars, entire countries are discourage this horrific practice of "gender modification" of minors. Why is she ignoring the science, and the scientists? It's time for Senator Lodge to put the needs of children first!

She has also been receiving emails from corrupted librarians throughout the state, throughout the country, all of which are telling her not to grant a hearing on H 666.

Why does she think that sexually explicit material should be around children? If any adult were to take vulgar books like the ones mentioned above and show them to children on the sidewalk, they would get arrested. But for some sick reason, the same adult could showcase the same books in a public school or a public library, and nothing would happen to them!

Does this make sense? Shouldn't children, who are a captive audience in most public schools, and who expect some degree of safety in public libraries, be spared from such horrendous smut? It is not just the responsibility of parents to guide their children, but adults with a status of trust in the community must take the lead and keep perverse, damaging materials away from children.

The sad fact is that too many librarians right now have been indoctrinated with "free speech means anything goes" mentality, all of which comes from the krypto-marxist American Library Association. They are committed to pushing all kinds of filth on children, despite their pretenses to the public.

And right now, Senator Lodge is supporting these efforts. Why is Senator Lodge OK with obscenity in public libraries? Why does she think it is OK for library and school staff to push sexual perversion on kids? This is wrong! What kind of legacy is she hoping to leave for her family, for her community?

Contact Senator Lodge NOW and tell her to grant a hearing for H 666 and H 675. There is no excuse for her to be allowing the ongoing and abuse and destruction of children to take place in the Gem State. What kind of woman would want to leave such a horrific legacy for her tenure in Boise?!

MassResistance Exposes "Banned Books Week": Subtle Propaganda to Push Sexual Perversion

 

It’s “Banned Books Week” in public libraries across the country. An excuse to push more pornography and homosexuality on children.

Big displays and strong, dishonest anti-parent messaging.

Pushed by the ultra-left American Library Association.

 "Books Unite Us and Censorship Divides Us" - a not-so-subtle attack on parents protecting children.

It’s “Banned Books Week” in public libraries across America. And it’s hard to miss the big displays and self-righteous (but very sophisticated) messaging when you walk in the door. You’re made to feel like your library is a freedom fighter that’s protecting you from the narrow-minded zealots who want to keep folks from reading Steinbeck, To Kill a Mockingbird, or Orwell’s 1984. You’re made to feel good about fighting such censorship!

But the Banned Books Week message is very dishonest and misleading. We’ve followed the book challenges in libraries for decades. Nobody really cares what books adults read. The red-hot battle involves parents outraged over the books available to children and teenagers. There are increasing numbers of lurid and explicit pornographic, homosexual and transgender-themed books being placed (and promoted!) in the children’s and teens’ sections of libraries. There are also books pushing hatred of America and dark anti-Christian themes. Normal people understand that vulnerable children need to be protected. But just the opposite is happening in libraries today.

Begun in 1982, Banned Books Week is a well-funded yearly push by the far-left American Library Association (ALA), which just about every library belongs to (and pays hefty dues to). The ALA has long promoted LGBT events in libraries and schools and actively fights to keep LGBT books from being removed by officials.

The ALA also runs an official-sounding “Office of Intellectual Freedom” that is dedicated to giving children the “freedom” to read pornography despite their parents’ objections. They also publish lists of the purported “most banned and challenged books” which strangely are peppered with mainstream titles such as those mentioned above. A main purpose of Banned Books Week is clearly to intimidate conservatives.

We have recently reported about the parents and citizens in Gillette, Wyoming dealing with the pornographic and LGBT children’s books in their local Campbell County Public Library, and their confrontation with their public officials over it.

Not surprisingly, the library is using Banned Books Week as a vehicle to portray the outraged parents and local citizens as narrow-minded censors, and make it look like the library (and the rest of the public) are the “freedom fighters.” Below is the display in the Gillette Branch.

 This is what you see when you walk in the door -an entire wall (and more) devoted to "Banned Books."

The left section of the display (below) includes 1984 – a book for adults that virtually no one would want to keep out of a library – shown along with The Perks of Being a Wallflower (second from bottom) which is a vile, disgusting “teen” sex book; and The Earth My Butt, which is a vulgar, depressing “teen” book. The subliminal message is that they’re all being equally “challenged” by narrow-minded local people.

The middle and right sections are repugnant propaganda snippets (likely from the Library Director and staff) clearly aimed at stirring up the public against the local parents and any others who might get involved. To reiterate, the parents in Gillette and across the country are only trying to protect children. They don’t care what adults read. But the library’s Banned Book Week message is to falsely portray them as vicious, dangerous book-burners who want to censor what everyone reads.

Next to the main display is another display of “banned” books. Note that Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and a few other relatively mainstream books (that no one is seriously trying to censor) are mixed with some borderline kids’ books. Again, the intent is clear: to inflame the public against the so-called “censors.”

Judge for yourself: Is this book or this book - both of which are in this library – on the same level as Fahrenheit 451 or 1984?

And to drive the wedge deeper into the community, the Campbell County library is using the Banned Books Week event to invite teens to read the books that parents want removed!

And naturally, the local (liberal) newspaper has enthusiastically promoted the event.

Where is all this coming from?

People of a certain age can remember when public libraries were both safe for children and places for children and teenagers to find wonderful, uplifting, and edifying books. In most places those are distant memories.

This horrible assault on children appears to have come from two directions. First, since the “sexual revolution” decades ago, people with their own sexual dysfunctions and emotional issues – and leftists who are support them – have been attracted to public libraries where they can push societal change. These are the people who select the children’s books.

And secondly, since the “gay rights” revolution in the 80s and 90s and its obsession with children, there has been a flood of homosexual (and transgender) writers putting out children’s and teen’s books, along with a cottage industry of groups giving them “awards.”

That combination has been a disaster for public libraries everywhere. To see how bad this has become, see Debbie DeGroff’s excellent website, What’s Inside Children’s Books?.

Probably the biggest fraud of Banned Books Week is that it’s the libraries themselves that are the biggest censors. Try to find any books critical of homosexuality or transgenderism, especially books such as The Health Hazards of Homosexuality or books about healing from that addictive behavior.

Finally, there actually are many libraries across the country staffed and run by normal, sensible people. It’s not easy, though. It takes a strong Library Board to make sure that happens. But it’s certainly possible – and it’s what we are helping people across America make happen in their towns!

Houston MassResistance Exposes Second Sex Offender at Drag Queen Story Hour

When does this evil perversion stop?

This is unreal, shameful, absolutely disgusting. The fact that the city of Houston is leaning toward trying to back this Drag Queen Story Hour program is nothing short of child abuse, and a complete disdain for the well-being of you people.

Last month we reported how Houston MassResistance activists exposed a Houston Public Library “Drag Queen” as a convicted child sex offender.

Now, it turns out that a second Houston Public Library Drag Queenwas convicted of multiple sexual assaults against young children, according to records uncovered by Houston MassResistance activists. The man has also written a lurid article describing his work as a transgender prostitute. And he was photographed at a Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) event carrying a rubber chicken – a symbol used by homosexuals to indicate a sexual preference for young boys.

This man is part of the local Drag Queen group brought in to do the Story Hour” events. We now know that local group is part of a bigoted national anti-Catholic Drag Queen organization.

It’s becoming clear that the outrages we’re exposing are not an anomaly, but more likely the norm – not only in Houston but probably around the country.

The shocking discovery by Houston MassResistance

The Houston man identified by MassResistance activists is William Travis Dees. He is a member of the “Space City Sisters” Drag Queen group. The Houston Public Library thought it appropriate to invite these unbalanced men to lead Drag Queen Story Hour readings to little children.

As part of these DQSH events, Dees has served as a “greeter” for young children as they came into the library, among other roles.

According to criminal records uncovered by Houston MassResistance activists, Dees was convicted in 2004 of sex crimes against four young children (ages 4, 5, 6, and 8), was jailed, and is listed as a “high risk sex offender.” MassResistance activists have also identified numerous aliases which Dees uses for his various characters and personas.

Since Dees was 16 years old at the time of his conviction, his record is “sealed” and not posted on government sites. However, it is available from other sex-offender record sources.

Part of bigoted anti-Catholic group

The “Space City Sisters” have yet another odious distinction. Theirwebsite and social media reveal that the group is a local chapter of a national organization of cross-dressing homosexual men called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The men dress as garish and hideous parodies of Catholic nuns and mock Catholicism. They are a popular feature in gay pride parades and other LGBT events across the country. They now also do DQSH readings to small children.

A transgender prostitute doing BDSM

Dees appears to be a very troubled and dysfunctional man. Houston MassResistance activists were able to verify that under his alias of Elizabeth Davidson, Dees wrote a very graphic article on an LGBT website (which included a photo of himself) describing his experiences as a transgender prostitute (his term is “sex worker”) who engaged in BDSM (bondage, discipline, sado-masochism) with his clients.

Titled, “What I Learned as a Trans Dominatrix,” the article is very disturbing and also very sad. “I had tried for so many years to alleviate my depression and dysphoria through random sex, I had lost track of how many partners I’ve had,” he says. He also talks about his male clients who wanted to be tied up, beaten, have hot wax poured on them, etc.

Unfortunately, this sort of behavior and dysfunction is probably far more common among Drag Queens than their allies in libraries and government will ever admit. Yet they have no problem letting them work with young children.

“Chicken” symbolism. What more do we need to know?

As we’ve described in previous posts, the expression “chickens” in “gay” slang refers to under-age boys that older gay men find and seduce. In other words, pederasty. So, when these cross-dressing homosexual men casually wave around a rubber chicken at a children’s event, that seems to be a pretty clear message. Dees, who has been convicted of multiple sex offenses against young children, was photographed at a Drag Queen Story Hour event doing exactly that.

Local media decline to cover story; no reaction from politicians

When Houston MassResistance exposed the first DQSH sex offender on March 18, the story made a big splash in the local press and also in the national conservative press. Local politicians weighed in – or scrambled for cover. The public library officials were forced to issue a public apology, and eventually the entire event was shut down (at least temporarily).

But this time, things turned out differently. On April 3, Houston MassResistance called a press conference outside of the public library, just as they did the last time. Local media showed up, as before.

The media definitely showed up that day.

A reporter asks some questions. They certainly seemed interested — but then later nothing got reported!

But afterwards there was virtually no local coverage. And not a peep from any public officials. It was eerie. The following day, MassResistance activists were part of a local Fox 26 TV interview show about the news, but later that show was mysteriously removed from the TV station’s website.

If you go to the Houston Fox 26 TV website and search for the interview they did with Houston Massresistance about the Drag Queen sex offender, this is all you get!

Since the story wasn’t going “viral,” most of the national conservative media weren’t picking it up either. There were two exceptions. PJ Mediagot the press release and posted an article a few hours before the press conference. The other site was InfoWars.

To their credit, InfoWars really picked up on this. They did a very good article and also interviewed Houston MassResistance leader Tracy Shannon twice, including a personal interview by Alex Jones. See videos here.

Tracy Shannon was prominently featured on InfoWars, which covered this story better than any other media.

One of the media’s excuses we heard was that they couldn’t verify Dees’s records directly from the state, since the records are “sealed.” But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist, or that it can’t be reported using other reputable sources. InfoWars was able to do that without any problem. To date, no one has disputed the facts that were presented.

And it will get worse. Much more to come on this!

The Houston Public Library is now talking about bringing back the Drag Queen Story Hour event this summer! So Houston MassResistance isn’t slowing down a bit. This is such a depraved situation, so there is surely much more to be exposed.

First of all, Tracy Shannon and the others have now amassed over 600 pages of very disturbing material about the DQSH, the officials behind it, laws and rules that were broken, and the lurid background of the Drag Queens themselves. (This is in addition to the 163-page report they presented to the City Council in March.) The new material will be released soon.

Second, Houston public officials have been illegally refusing to release key information about the Drag Queen event. Tracy and the others have been pressing them for months via FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to find out the answers to many questions regarding this event.

Dan Kleinman of SafeLibraries has been especially helpful in assisting MassResistance take this important FOIA dispute directly to the Texas Attorney General. It appears likely that the Texas AG will intervene.

And third, at the April 3 press conference, Tracy laid out some further demands:

MassResistance will demand an audit of the entire HPL [Houston Public Library] background checks vs volunteer applications to see how many have experienced an "oversight" and how many sex offenders have been allowed to participate in children's programming at the libraries in Houston.  We will also be demanding a city ordinance that requires background checks for all city-sanctioned programs for children.

We are clearly winning, but the fight in Houston is far from over. A lot has been accomplished by these outstanding Houston MassResistance activists. None of this would have come to light without their incredible work. What they found should frighten and anger everyone as these ghastly events show up across the country.

Drag Queen Story Hour in ... Alabama?!

This perverse LGBT Agenda is looking for new ways to creep into the daily lives of ordinary American citizens.

Their next step is to infiltrate through local libraries and normalize men dressing up as women: transsexualism, queer behavior, homosexuality, transgenderism, and the rest.

Library board addresses Drag Queen Story Hour in Mobile: 'If we exclude one, we exclude all'

A Sept. 8 Drag Queen Story Hour event in Mobile has generated a mix of outrage and support on social media, and a group of local pastors are expected to speak out against it during Monday's Mobile County Commission meeting.

What's the point of this agenda?

Public libraries provide an easy means for getting to ... the children. The goal of the whole LGBT Agenda has been to brainwash the children to question biological fact and Biblical morality. Public libraries also provide a perfect forum because local governments cannot shut them out. The First Amendment provides them a pretty safe forum, ironclad from legal or moral challenges.

At least, so far.

But the one-hour event, in which a drag queen will read children's stories to kids ages 3-8, is not likely to be canceled or moved from the Ben May Main library.

In a statement Wednesday, the Mobile Public Library Board said it simply cannot exclude groups that meet the library's policies for utilizing public meeting rooms.

But does the Library Board have to tolerate this? Drag queens represent a very mature, adult themed concept. The First Amendment does not mean that they can just foist whatever content they want onto children.

Parents have a right to confront material, content, causes, whatever

"Permission to use a library meeting room does not constitute library endorsement of any group's policies, objectives, goals or beliefs," the statement to AL.com reads. "If we exclude one group, we must exclude all."

Not sure about that take on the matter. The First Amendment is not carte blanche for people to say whatever they want. Libraries can establish norms and standards. Or they can provide disclaimers. Or at the very least libraries can permit counter-programs to keep children away from the Drag Queen Story Hour.

Since 2015, libraries around the U.S. have been hosting Drag Queen Story Hour, in which a drag queen reads stories before children. Alabama will host its first-ever Drag Queen Story Hour on Sept. 8 at the Ben May Main Branch Library in Mobile.

'No direct control'

Mobile city officials are also hearing from both sides of the Drag Queen Story Hour debate. Among them is Mayor Sandy Stimpson.

His spokeswoman, Laura Byrne, said there is nothing the mayor can do about the library-hosted event.

"The Mobile Public Library is a separate organization from the city of Mobile, but the governing board of the library is appointed by the Mobile City Council," said Byrne. "The library employees are not city employees. The mayor's office has no direct control over the board or the operations of the library.

Passing the buck: that's all that it is. This is wrong. The Mobile City Council can remove the board members and bring in people who don't want to see the drag queens teaching their kids queer ideas.

Byrne said that local government has little legal authority to cancel the event.

"The First Amendment grants all citizens the right to the freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of association," she said. "Libraries are public spaces especially when the city owns the building. The government cannot limit this right as long as citizens don't disobey the law."

Is it possible to pass a law to limit the scope of the freedom of speech offered in a library setting? Again, the common law basis of this country does not permit unfettered recognition of natural rights for minors. Why not present a counter-demonstration talking about how Moms and Dads matter?

The event is sponsored by Rainbow Mobile, a nonprofit group organized earlier this year to serve the LGBTQ community in Southeast Alabama. The group wants to promote awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ community in Mobile.

No, the group wants to destroy the Judeo-Christian heritage which has served as the backbone of the Southeastern United States, and in turn help turn the region a deep hue of  Democratic blue. This is wrong, all wrong. Parents should have the authority to permit or forbid what their tax dollars pay for.

Stories will be read by Wade Brasfield, whose drag queen persona is "Khloe Kash." The scheduled story time activities include a five-minute greeting followed by a reading of "Stella Brings the Family," and "Rainbow Fish." In between each reading is a five-minute break. The event concludes with 15 minutes of arts and crafts time.

'Approved programming'

Similar story time events have occurred in cities throughout the U.S., though not without controversy. The most recent issue concerns one of the readings in Lafayette, Louisiana, where the city's mayor-president recently announced on Facebook that he was looking to find a way to cancel or move to a private venue an Oct. 6 Drag Queen Story Hour reading in Acadiana.

That's the response. This LGBT Movement is disgusting on a level unseen. The Democratic Party and the cultural Marxist Left is trying every means possible to push their agenda, and they are doing this purposefully to shake up the common sense sensibilities of these Southern Communities.

"Don't California My South!" should be the rallying cry.

"Our parish libraries are public spaces, with venues that any group or individual can reserve on a non-discriminatory basis, as required by law," said Joel Robideaux, mayor-president of the Lafayette Consolidate Government. "We have to be certain, however, that our internally approved programming is both appropriate and serves the needs of Lafayette Parish. That is the only way our library system will continue to enjoy the support from our community that it has historically received."

Supporters flocked to a Lafayette City-Parish Council meeting on Tuesday, according to a reporter from The Acadiana Advocate.

The Lafayette event is being sponsored by the University of Louisiana Lafayette's Delta Lambda Phi social fraternity, which is for gay, bisexual, transgender and progressive men.

'Equal terms'

In Mobile, the library has distanced itself from the event.

A library spokeswoman, on Monday, said that no tax dollars, library funds or Friends of the Library funds are being used for the event.

That's not true. The event is taking place in a public institution, paid for with taxpayer dollars. This argument is a total crock. The Mobile, Alabama City Council has the authority to remove and appoint new library commissioners. They need to take a stance and say "Natural marriage, natural rights, and natural law." 

The board's statement on Wednesday continued, "The library welcomes the use of its meeting rooms by community businesses, groups and organizations. As an institution for education and free speech and in accordance with Article 6 of the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights, the library makes its meeting rooms available on equal terms to all groups regardless of beliefs and affiliations of their members."

The American Library Association, the world's oldest library association that claims over 57,000 members, has encouraged libraries to create programs that foster more equitable, diverse and inclusive societies.

Final Reflection

The pro-family movement has to come up with answers to these latest incursions of the regressive left into our culture. The LGBT Agenda wants to take over the public libraries. The pro-family movement should set up signs and parents in and around the room telling the truth about drag queens and who they engage in unnatural behaviors. The parents, the conservative activists who want to put a stop to this perversion should then demand that patrons call the elected officials on the city council and remove the library commissioners. Share the contact information of these commissioners and make sure they don't rest easy as long as that perverse "Drag Queen Story Hour" continues.

People have to think creatively. The answer to free speech is more free speech. Parents can fight this, and pro-family activists can help them.
