Diane Harkey for Congress: Trump Economy Growing in California

Wages Grew 9.2% in 49th District

In case you missed it, Reuters highlighted strong income growth in over a dozen U.S. Congressional Districts, one of these being our 49th District. Reuters' analysis of Census Bureau data that was released on Thursday shows a 6 percent increase of the median income in 14 battleground districts, more than 1 percent higher than the national median income increase. However, in District 49, the median income has increased by more than 9 percent.

"Reducing the tax burden and regulatory burden on job-creating businesses has created a very strong economy in our San Diego and Orange County District," said Diane Harkey.

Senate Conservatives Fund: Update on Endorsed US Senate Candidates

Senate Conservatives Fund

Arthur:

Our seven endorsed candidates for the U.S. Senate are all running strong, competitive campaigns, but they need help to win.

Please read the updates below and then make a contribution to support their campaigns.
Mike Braun (R-IN)
MIKE BRAUN – Indiana

Businessman Mike Braun (R-IN) raised $2.5 million in the past quarter and currently has a slight lead over Senator Joe Donnely (D-IN) in the polls. It's not surprising that Donnelly is now ducking debates with Braun and is spending millions on attacks against him. Braun released a new TV ad to set the record straight and he's working hard to spread his message as a conservative outsider. This race gives Republicans one of the best pick-up opportunities across the country.

Donate to Mike Braun.
Patrick Morrisey (R-WV)
PATRICK MORRISEY – West Virginia

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is back to his old trick of pretending to be a centrist. In his latest act, he said Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) could "kiss my you know what" when asked about Schumer's efforts to pressure Manchin to oppose President Trump's Supreme Court nominee. It's clever posturing to get favorable headlines in West Virginia, but the truth is Manchin has benefited from millions of dollars from Schumer and his liberal campaign machine and will be a loyal supporter after the election. Morrisey currently trails Manchin by 6 points in the average of public polls, but he can close that gap if he has the funds to set the record straight.

Donate to Patrick Morrisey.
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
MARSHA BLACKBURN – Tennessee

The new vacancy on the Supreme Court highlights the importance of the U.S. Senate race in Tennessee and shows why electing U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is critical. Former Governor Phil Bredesen (D-TN) was hand-picked and personally courted by Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to run for the Senate. There's no question that he will be bad on judges and must be defeated. Bredesen is well-known in the state and currently leads Blackburn by 5 points in the average of public polls. The Democrats will go all-out to win this race because they know it's the key to taking back the majority in the Senate. Meanwhile, many establishment donors within Tennessee think they can "work with" Bredesen and so they are backing their old pal instead of Blackburn. This goes to show how important conservative grassroots support will be in this race!

Donate to Marsha Blackburn.
Ted Cruz (R-TX)
TED CRUZ – Texas

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) continues to keep his promises and fight for less government and more freedom. He's one of the leaders in the Senate when it comes to confirming good judges and he has vocally stood up for strong immigration enforcement at a time when many liberals want to abolish ICE and have open borders. Cruz's conservative leadership has made him a top target of the left, which is why his opponent, U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX), is raising tens of millions of dollars. Cruz leads O'Rourke by 8 points in the average of public polls, but conservatives cannot take this race for granted.

Donate to Ted Cruz.
John James (R-MI)
JOHN JAMES – Michigan

Combat veteran and businessman John James (R-MI) continues to gain support in the Republican primary election for U.S. Senate. But he faces a real challenge from Sandy Pensler (R-MI), a liberal “Republican” who first ran for Congress in 1992. He’s using $5 million of his own personal fortune to attack James on the airwaves and to drown out the voices of the conservative grassroots. Pensler is pro-choice, he favors government-run health care, and he is highly critical of President Trump. That's why conservatives must unite and help John James win this critical nomination.

Donate to John James.
Matt Rosendale (R-MT)
MATT ROSENDALE – Montana

Coming off the primary victory, State Auditor Matt Rosendale (R-MT) is raising money at a faster rate and is gaining in the polls. In June, he trailed Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) by eight points, but a month later he only trails by 3 points. Senator Tester continues to do everything he can to convince the voters that he's one of them, but his record is one of a very liberal politician. Vice President Mike Pence will be in Montana later this month to campaign for Rosendale in what is one of the biggest battleground races in the country. If voters learn the truth about "two-faced Tester," Rosendale will win.

Donate to Matt Rosendale.
Josh Hawley (R-MO)
JOSH HAWLEY – Missouri

A new poll shows State Attorney General Josh Hawley overtaking Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) by two points (48% Hawley, 46% McCaskill). Hawley still trails McCaskill in the average of public polls by one point, but he's moving in the right direction. McCaskill continues to duck debates with Hawley and will likely oppose the nomination of Brett Kavanagh to the U.S. Supreme Court. This race gives conservatives a major pick-up opportunity, but Hawley will need a lot of help to make sure Missouri voters know the truth about McCaskill and her liberal record.

Donate to Josh Hawley.
The stakes are very high. Control of the Senate is on the line as well as the future of many important policy debates.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

White House Resolute Reads: Women in Business, Infrastructure, Right to Try, and Death Penalty for Drug Dealers

REAL NEWS PRESIDENT TRUMP DOESN'T WANT YOU TO MISS

The Hill
“Evidence that policies focused on growth and economic mobility greatly improve the lives of women is everywhere,” fiscal policy expert Mattie Duppler writes in The Hill. Duppler highlights how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed by President Donald J. Trump has improved the landscape for women, whether they are “workers, or bosses, or stay-at-home moms.”
-------------------------
Reuters
“U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions instructed federal prosecutors on Wednesday to seek the death penalty in drug-related cases whenever it is ‘appropriate,’ saying the Justice Department must boost efforts to counter America’s epidemic of opioid abuse,” Reuters reports. The Attorney General’s remarks came after President Trump announced a detailed plan on the opioid crisis earlier this week.
-------------------------
- The Daily Signal
Senior leaders from across the Administration—including President Trump himself—fielded a range of questions Thursday at Generation Next, a White House forum for millennials. Senior Adviser Ivanka Trump sat down with The Daily Signal for a Q&A, explaining why she thinks “this is a moment of incredible opportunity” for women in America.
-------------------------
- The New York Times
On Wednesday, the Trump Administration tapped Dr. Robert R. Redfield, cofounder of the Institute for Human Virology, to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Redfield has “decades of science and clinical work – especially in the field of H.I.V./AIDS.” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar called Dr. Redfield “peerless” in his depth of experience.
-------------------------
The Washington Free Beacon
“Trump called for the use of the death penalty in certain drug-trafficking related cases as part of the announcement on Monday of his administration's strategy for combatting the opioid epidemic,” Charles Fain Lehman reports. By Thursday, five Republican lawmakers had announced a new bill that would toughen the charges facing dealers who traffic in fentanyl, a deadly synthetic opioid.
-------------------------
The New York Times
“The House, spurred on by President Trump, passed a bill on Wednesday that would give patients with terminal illnesses a right to try unproven experimental treatments,” Robert Pear reports. Proponents of the bill say it will “give dying patients a chance to obtain potentially helpful prescription drugs without waiting for the completion of clinical trials.”
-------------------------
USA Today
On Thursday, President Trump participated in a Q&A with conservative advocate Charlie Kirk at the White House’s Generation Next forum. Their conversation covered taxes, trade policy, and what advice the President would give to a 25-year-old Donald Trump today.
-------------------------
The Washington Times
“Investment in infrastructure is coming at just the right time for America,” Gov. Pete Ricketts (R-NE) writes this week. “Over the past year, the Trump administration has listened to states while developing policy proposals.” Gov. Ricketts joined President Trump at the White House when the President unveiled his plan for rebuilding American infrastructure last month.
-------------------------
The Washington Free Beacon
Travel for President Obama’s EPA Administrators cost taxpayers roughly $1 million, The Washington Free Beacon reports. “The double-standard couldn't be more clear: Under Barack Obama's EPA the media chose not to report on expenditures to protect the EPA administrator for international travel or the costs of their trips," EPA Spokesman Jahan Wilcox said.

Government Satisfaction Poll: How's President Trump Doing?

Fellow American, I need to know if you're satisfied with your representation in the United States government. Can you take sixty seconds to answer any (or all) of these questions?

It’s no secret that politicians in Washington do too much talking and too little listening. You and I are going to change that starting RIGHT NOW.

Once a month, I want to check in with you about how satisfied you are with your government. If you’re happy, then let me know. If you’re unhappy, then let’s talk so we can do something about it!

We have a lot of work ahead of us in 2018 and a limited amount of time. It's important that we stay focused on your priorities, so please answer your
Government Satisfaction Survey.

I’m excited to get to work on your advice because we know conservatives are strongest when we run the government from the grassroots level.

Thanks for your advice,

Steve Scalise

Video Going Viral! Trump Supporters Chase Commie Democrat Judy Chu Out of Pasadena Church

This is incredible!

I didn't think the viewship for this upload would go viral as it has now.

Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-Pasadena) is a straight-up communist. She has connections with the radical marxists from China, in fact, and he wants to force the same statist agenda in the United States.

It is laughable that she advertises herself as a member of the Committee on Small Business. She has no interest in helping people make money. She wants to take from the makers and make more takers, including herself.

Her abortive "GOP Tax Scam" town hall was a complete joke. Along with Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Commerce), she tried as best as she could to smear and diminish the Tax Reform legislation, all of which has enabled unprecedented job growth, corporate investment, as well as bonuses and wage increases for working Americans.

The economy is roaring so strongly, that job growth exceeded 300,000 new jobs in February, blowing out all expectations. The best part about the economic growth is that everyone is enjoying the benefits, not just Wall Street, not just well-connected political cronies. In fact, the Swamp creatures who benefited from cozy backroom deals under the Obama Administration are the ones missing out on the prosperity, since now they have to trade for a living rather than pander and lobby.

Judy Chu faced opposition from We the People Rising and LA County for Trump at her Scam Town Hall in Pasadena two weeks ago. We demanded that she put the needs of Americans First, although she was desperately intent on running away from her constituents as fast as possible.

Look at Chu run! This is how you do it, folks. Your elected representatives have no right to run away from you and not answer questions, but you and I have every right to confront them, to petition them from a clear redress of any and all grievances.

Check out what we did to Commie Chu--and let me know when you start doing the same thing with your elected officials!

BRILLIANT! Trump Supporters Interrupt "Tax Scam" Town Hall With Song: "'Fake News' Paul!"

This is just brilliant! Paul Krugman is a snide, liberal elitist shill for the New York Times. In spite of all the massive failures and missed predictions which he had written about the Trump Administration, he insists on continuing the never-ending onslaught of hate against President Trump.

Here is Paul Krugman lying yet against about the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

"OK! I'' stop talking
if you stop signing!"

This time, a trio of Trump Supporters burst into song mocking the quack economist right in the middle of his perverse presentation.

Notice how violent the audience gets around them. They start grabbing at their song sheets, and one person grabs the arm of one of the singers.

Please enjoy!

Here are the lyrics if you want to sing along:

Ha! Ha! Ha! Fake News Paul, Fake News Paul, Mueller's Coup d'etat is failing -- just like you! Russiagate is nothing but a fraud -- it's true. Let the FBI go to Hell with the British, Or they'll drag us into World War III. Glass-Steagall, Glass-Steagall, Pass It Now! Krugman's acting like a Wall Street errand boy! Anything but Glass-Steagall is just a ploy. Let the Wall Street Banks go to Hell with the Fake News, It's time to listen to Ol' Lyndon LaRouche!

Congresswoman Judy Chu Tax Scam Teach In
2/22/18 Town Hall at All Saints Church, Pasadena, CA
Report by Robin Hvidston

VIDEO: Congresswoman Judy Chu did not allow any of her opposition to ask a question during the town hall Q & A. After the meeting ended, she RAN away from constituents!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlcwB_TxD3s

Convoluted Judy Chu rambles as she "answers" a tax question.

JUDY CHU ATTACKS THE GOP TAX CUTS!
Open border, leftist Congresswoman Judy Chu held a Tax Town Hall, along with Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. Four Trump Supporters attended the town hall. None of the Trump Supporters were called upon to ask a question during the Q & A. Both Chu and Roybal-Allard referred to fake facts and scare tactics when talking about the GOP tax cuts. After the town hall, Congresswoman Roybal-Allard disappeared!

Congresswoman Judy Chu remained in the meeting hall as audience members approached her and spoke to her.  When her constituent Robin Hvidston and Arthur Schaper approached and waited in the line to speak to her, she put her jacket on and ran out of the building to her car!

Judy Chu claimed at the town hall:
https://chu.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/reps-chu-and-roybal-allard-host-teach-gop-tax-scam
“Some can’t even predict what their tax burden is going to be anymore. That’s because, despite Republican promises to create a more simple tax code that gives every family a raise, what they passed does neither. Instead, Republicans completely cut Democrats out of what should have been a bipartisan process, and chose to rush through passing a bill that cuts taxes on corporations and the wealthiest few, while raising taxes on families and borrowing $2 trillion from our children to make today’s rich richer. Californians are in a particularly bad spot, because the tax bill’s changes to the SALT deduction mean Californians are going to have to choose between higher taxes and a lower standard of living. It’s just one of the ways this bill has left us worse than before. As a member of the House Ways and Means committee, I offered amendments that would have ensured more Americans would benefit from this bill, but each one was defeated by a party-line vote. Republicans weren’t interested in real reform so much as they were in making the rich richer. And that disconnect between their promise and what they delivered to the American people is creating confusion. That is why my colleague Lucille Roybal-Allard and I decided to host this teach-in. In order to ensure the economic stability of our constituents, we want them to how they can best plan for their future. I was so pleased with tonight’s turn out and I look forward to when I am able to host events explaining the good government has done for my constituents, not the confusion it has caused and the burden it has created.”

“…Catholic Charities gets billions of taxpayer dollars for refugee resettlement and general immigration services, which puts it into the category of a smallish government agency. For example, in 2010, 62 percent of Catholic Charities’ budget was funded by the unwilling taxpayer. The feds and the Catholic bishops are partners.”

Trump Supporters Chase Commie Democrat Judy Chu Out of Pasadena Church

This is our Democratic Party in the state of California.

Representative Judy Chu (D-Pasadena) hosted a "GOP Tax Scam Town Hall", but she and her guests couldn't say anything really bad about the legislation. The Democrats across the country are in big trouble if they think dismissing more money in our paychecks is nothing more than "crumbs."

Chu and her Democratic partner in lies Lucille Roybal-Allard cited a few companies which are laying off workers. It's called "creative destruction", and I made a point of this while they were lying about the President's signature legislation from last year.

She just ignored me, Robin, and another lady who wanted to know why the Congresswoman wasn't doing anything about the pension crises undermining California's financial stability.

Chu kept ignoring us, then she fled from us with Pasadena Police officers surrounding her.

A real woman of the people, right?

More like ... "We got another runner!"

LA County for Trump Confronts Democratic Congresswomen Lying About Trump Tax Reform (Photos)

After the small claims hearing in Downey, I took care of two more errands.

Then I went to a GOP Tax Scam town hall, hosted in All Saints Church in Pasadena, CA.

Two Congresswomen were hosting this event:

Judy Chu (D-Pasadena)

Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Huntington Park).

Roybal doesn't represent any part of Pasadena. What was she doing there?

She was just lending a hand in the fight against President Trump and the tax reform legislation which is helping Americans all over.

This "Tax Scam" event took place in a church!

When does this perversity end?

Churches are pushing this regressive leftist agenda. Since when did lining up with the state ensure that more people received and kept receiving abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness?

This is stunning. And it's wrong. Should these churches lose their 501(c)3 status over this? Or should we ensure that every church can preach the Gospel and talk politics from the pulpit? I would go with the latter. Maybe we could get the state of California back on track and find more people to fight against the lawless, statist corruption.

I showed up first, not sure what to prepare for. Were they going to prevent me from entering, as had occurred in Lincoln Heights earlier this month with Mayor Eric Garcetti and his tax scam town hall? I did enter and found a good place to sit. I saved two other seats for anyone else who would show up.

Robin Hvidston arrived next. Judy Chu is her Congresswoman. Ugh! I've got Lyin' Ted Lieu, and Hvidston has to contend with Commie Judy Chu. Terrible. When does the hurting stop? Harim Uzziel and his friend Jesenia Taylor arrived about thirty minutes later:

Chu and Roybal were clearly not thrilled to see us. Roybal knows me very well, since I went to her office in Commerce two years ago to confront her about the two illegals in Huntington Park, among other problems.

Along with the two communistic Congresswoman, LA County Assessor Jeffrey Prang was there, along with a law professor from UCLA, an IRS agent, and a tax advocate.

They all had to concede that the tax reform legislation was doing wonders for working people across the country. Men and women are getting more money in their paychecks. Corporations are coming back to the United States, investing more capital, hiring more workers, producing more products for American markets and helping the economy to roar once again.

They could only nitpick at the fact that the child tax credit will last for five years before Congress has to renew it. Bernie Sanders made the same criticism about the legislation. Senator Ted Cruz offered up a bill to do just that, and asked Bernie Sanders to co-sponsor the legislation. The Vermont socialist has said nothing about it.

The same pablum spilled into 40 minutes before anyone of us could ask questions.

Here's what I wanted to ask the representatives:

Instead, we got to hear more canned questions about how bad Trump is how wonderful the Congressional representatives are.

Boring!

And right on time, the police showed up to survey the situation and keep the little people in line:

Yes, Judy Chu, a real woman of the people. By the time the tax scam town hall ended, Roybal ran out right away! She knows that we confront liberal loony corrupt politicians like her, Kevin De Leon, Ricardo Lara, and the rest.

Commie Chu had hoped to escape, but we followed her out demanding to know why she keep lying about Trump's tax reform legislation and why she keeps putting the needs of illegal aliens ahead of American citizens.

She wasn't interested in talking to us:

We got another runner!

Afterwards, we went to the front of the church and left a sign underneath their "DREAMer" banner.
