Congresswoman Judy Chu Tax Scam Teach In
2/22/18 Town Hall at All Saints Church, Pasadena, CA
Report by Robin Hvidston

VIDEO: Congresswoman Judy Chu did not allow any of her opposition to ask a question during the town hall Q & A. After the meeting ended, she RAN away from constituents!

Convoluted Judy Chu rambles as she "answers" a tax question.

JUDY CHU ATTACKS THE GOP TAX CUTS!
Open border, leftist Congresswoman Judy Chu held a Tax Town Hall, along with Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. Four Trump Supporters attended the town hall. None of the Trump Supporters were called upon to ask a question during the Q & A. Both Chu and Roybal-Allard referred to fake facts and scare tactics when talking about the GOP tax cuts. After the town hall, Congresswoman Roybal-Allard disappeared!

Congresswoman Judy Chu remained in the meeting hall as audience members approached her and spoke to her.  When her constituent Robin Hvidston and Arthur Schaper approached and waited in the line to speak to her, she put her jacket on and ran out of the building to her car!

Judy Chu claimed at the town hall:

“Some can’t even predict what their tax burden is going to be anymore. That’s because, despite Republican promises to create a more simple tax code that gives every family a raise, what they passed does neither. Instead, Republicans completely cut Democrats out of what should have been a bipartisan process, and chose to rush through passing a bill that cuts taxes on corporations and the wealthiest few, while raising taxes on families and borrowing $2 trillion from our children to make today’s rich richer. Californians are in a particularly bad spot, because the tax bill’s changes to the SALT deduction mean Californians are going to have to choose between higher taxes and a lower standard of living. It’s just one of the ways this bill has left us worse than before. As a member of the House Ways and Means committee, I offered amendments that would have ensured more Americans would benefit from this bill, but each one was defeated by a party-line vote. Republicans weren’t interested in real reform so much as they were in making the rich richer. And that disconnect between their promise and what they delivered to the American people is creating confusion. That is why my colleague Lucille Roybal-Allard and I decided to host this teach-in. In order to ensure the economic stability of our constituents, we want them to how they can best plan for their future. I was so pleased with tonight’s turn out and I look forward to when I am able to host events explaining the good government has done for my constituents, not the confusion it has caused and the burden it has created.”

Every congress member is given an annual budget to cover staff salaries, travel to and from the home district, official mail to constituents and other office necessities. The budgets vary. The average budget for 2011 was $1.45 million.

“…Catholic Charities gets billions of taxpayer dollars for refugee resettlement and general immigration services, which puts it into the category of a smallish government agency. For example, in 2010, 62 percent of Catholic Charities’ budget was funded by the unwilling taxpayer. The feds and the Catholic bishops are partners.”

Congressman Mike Bost Celebrates Tax Reform Passage

Bost Votes For Tax Reform

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) released the following statement after the House passed the final version of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the biggest reform of America’s tax code in 31 years:
“There were two major things that I wanted to accomplish for Southern Illinois through tax reform: growing jobs and growing paychecks. This tax reform bill paves the way for both. We’ve reformed the tax code to let working families keep more of their paycheck to spend as they see fit. Whether that be saving for college, raising a family, or preparing for a rainy day, I trust the taxpayers to keep a closer eye on their hard-earned dollars than any Washington bureaucrat ever will. We’ve also taken steps to encourage businesses large and small to expand operations at home and invest in the American worker.”
For individuals and families, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:
  • Lowers individual taxes and sets the rates so people can keep more of their hard-earned money.
  • Doubles the standard deduction from $6,500 to $13,000 for individuals and $12,000 to $24,000 for married couples.
  • Continues to allow people to write off the cost of state and local taxes – up to $10,000.
  • Doubles the Child Tax Credit from $1,000 to $2,000.
  • Provides support for graduate students by continuing to exempt the value of reduced tuition from taxes.
  • Retains popular retirement savings options such as 401(k)s and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
  • Preserves the mortgage interest deduction.
  • Provides relief for Americans with expensive medical bills by expanding the medical expense deduction.
For job creators of all sizes, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:
  • Lowers the corporate tax rate to 21%– down from 35%, which today is the highest in the industrialized world.
  • Allows businesses to immediately write off the full cost of new equipment to improve operations and enhance the skills of their workers.
  • Establishes strong safeguards to distinguish between individual wage income and “pass-through” business income so Main Street tax relief goes to the local job creators it was designed to help most.
  • Prevents American jobs, headquarters, and research from moving overseas by eliminating incentives that now reward companies for shifting jobs, profits, and manufacturing plants abroad.

#NeverTrump Kristol Goes KooKoo

Bill Kristol has become more irritating by the minute.

He was an outspoken Never-Trumper during Election 2016.

Even now, his flagship magazine "The Weekly Standard" is non-stop in its criticism of the President.

One friend of mine was so disgusted with the magazine's anti-Trump derangement, he canceled his subscription.

Then check out this tweet:

This is what is happening:

The neoconservative intelligentsia have found their worldview checked into marginal status. That's a big problem for them.

So many of these conservative talkers and writers can't deal with the fact that Trump has done more than they could have ever imagined, and has done so quite effectively. They don't like that he tweets, I suppose, and they do not care for some of his uncouth choices.

So what? He is Making America Great Again, and there is nothing wrong with the way he's doing it, as long as he has continued enacting unprecedented reforms and growth in our country.

As for Bill Kristol, I called him out publicly at the 2017 Politicon Convention in Pasadena.

Check out the video below:

To say the least, I was disgusted with Kristol's anti-Trump animus!

New Jersey Tea Party Coalition: Get out the Vote!

Declaration Email Header
Greetings Patriot!
Two things to do Today!

Number 1:   Get out and Vote
More than ever you need to get out and Vote
Don't let anyone tell you that your vote doesn't count - they told you that LAST November, didn't they?

But you still went out and voted and that vote told others your stand on the direction of the country....now is the time to tell your town, county and State !

Number 2:
House Republicans have worked on the provisions of the tax bill and just yesterday the Committee for Ways and Means were discussing the parameters further.

This bill is expected to move quickly and will be the base model for what Congress works to pass. It is imperative that our congressional leaders hear from us to make certain the discussion on reform moves in the right direction and is beneficial for small businesses.

Please contact Representative Leonard Lance to encourage him to ensure the tax measures for ALL American citizens have his support and that he does not grandstand to oppose it. Please encourage him to ensure small businesses are supported as the bill progresses - this ensures more jobs for NJ citizens and all Americans.

Also, please help encourage Rep. Lance by posting on social media and tagging him on the need for reform (see below for example posts) - use or change them as you see fit but don't forget to include the @RepLanceNJ17 so he 'hears' your message!
  • @RepLanceNJ7 we are ready for #taxreform that will help grow the American Economy! #smallbiz #taxreformnow
  • The U.S. tax code hasn't changed in 30+ years. Time to bring tax laws into 21st century @RepLanceNJ7! #taxreformnow #taxreform
  • Congress should streamline the tax code and let small businesses thrive again. Hope to see @RepLanceNJ7's support!

Your voice can help impact the outcome!

After all it's your money, isn't it?

In Liberty,

NJ Tea Party Coalition
