Progressive Confronts Berniecrat US Senator Over Russia Obsession, Democratic Confusion
Lauren Steiner popped into the San Diego Democratic Party Bernie Bash to talk with some elected officials. She has been doggedly fighting the left-wing lie that Russia stole the election. All of this Russo-phobia is actually hurting Democratic Party chances going into Election 2018, since they look kookier and less serious every time that caterwaul about Putin's influence over Trump, the Republicans, and the 50 statewide elections which choose the electors and elected our President in 2018. Steiner spoke here with Jeff Merkley, junior US Senator from Oregon.
The real corruption lies with the DNC, and the leadership under Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and then Donna Brazile, who cheated, lied, and corrupted the process in the favor of the presumptive favorite Hillary Clinton.
Of course, the Democratic National Committee wants to put aside all of that destructive, embarrassing history. They hope that they can rely on the gullibility of left-wing extremists to push for a blue tsunami washing over this country in Election 2018.
Not going to happen.
Besides, US Senator Jeff Merkley needs to get back to Oregon. What is he doing in San Diego helping out in the California Democratic Party.
Listen to this guy talk about the same tired, left-wing tirades.
Notice that Lauren Steiner is trying to get the progressive Democrats to focus on pocketbook issues.
The Tea Party of the Left does not care about real concerns. They are infected with social justice warrior virtue-signaling, and they are determined at all costs to push this communistic identity politics, critical theory nonsense on the public
Lauren Steiner agree on a small set of issues.
We both defy the political establishment, which has been bought and paid for with third-house money by narrow special interests. We both opposed the Cap and Trade betrayal, which was a massive handout to crony corporations getting rich off of taxpayer dollars.
We defend freedom of speech earnestly. We also recognize that Bernie Sanders got robbed. US Senator Jeff Merkley was the only incumbent legislator in the upper house to endorse Sanders instead of Hillary Clinton. Who knows if he will face a primary challenge from the DNC Establishment in two years?

CA Dem Final Results Endorsements at Convention
The Democratic Party of California is falling apart from within.
It's too bad that Republicans can't get their act together in this state to make California Great Again.
This insanity has to be confronted.
At any rate, just to show everyone who divided the California Democratic Party has become, here is the list of how many delegates for which candidates in statewide races:

It's bad enough that they think that Dianne Feinstein is too conservative.
They couldn't coalesce around any one candidate for governor, either. Crazy. I am still surprised that Chiang was pretty close to Newsom, even though he has shied away from single-payer health care talk.
What do the Democrats have to offer Californians, anyway? More debt? More despair?
Please, everyone, we must work harder to stop this insanity. We can do better than this, can we not?
This is California, and California must not fall further into socialism. We cannot allow Democrats to pilfer and nibble at the corpse of California any longer. Enough is enough.

@CA_DEM Decay: Endorsement for #MeToo Garcia, and No Endorsements for Statewide Offices
This is really alarming. The California Democratic Party convention could not arrive at a consensus for statewide candidates. A number of contested House Seats are not going to have an endorsed candidate, either, except for the House seats which Democrats really do not have a chance of winning: CD-39 and CD-45.
Cristina Garcia actually received an official endorsement from the California Democratic Party, even though she is currently on voluntary unpaid leave following four accusations of sexual misconduct from previous staffers.
Unbelievable. The California Democratic Party responded that her endorsement, along with a number of others, had already been slated on the consent calendar, and state party rules will not permit the remove of a consent calendar endorsement.
Uh Oh!
And yet ... the state party and activists within the party worked actively and successfully to prevent Tony Mendoza from receiving an endorsement. right? They accomplished getting rid of Touchy Feely Tony, but they couldn't stop Groping Cristina?
Strange ...
Anyway, what about the final breakdown on delegate votes for the official state party endorsements for statewide office?
The state party delegates were unable to arrive at any consensus. This is not pretty for the California Democratic Party, a microcosm of how the corporatist Hillary faction may have all the money, but they have not commanded the respect or the drive of the Bernie-crat progressive faction.

Here is the breakdown on how California Democratic Party delegates voted on statewide candidates:
U.S. Senate:
Kevin de León: 54 percent
Dianne Feinstein: 37 percent
Pat Harris: 5 percent
No Endorsement: 3 percent
This was the must stunning upset of the convention. Senator Dianne Feinstein has pushed a more left-wing tilt since major opposition jumped into the race to defeat her in the general election.
Of course, DiFi has more money than any other candidate running for statewide office, and she has name ID and support (so far) from a wide swatch of Democrats and Independents, and very likely some Republicans. (*UGH*)
Still, she will face a harder fight than expected going into the June primary this year. She will be sucking in a large part of the Democratic Vote, and just maybe a Republican can sneak through. If that happens, it's very likely that this Senate seat could be a little more competitive than last time, since the large and expanding number of hard-left progressives within the Democratic Party, as well as those who have abandoned the Democratic Party, will sit out the election.
California Governor:
Gavin Newsom: 39 percent
Antonio Villaraigosa: 9 percent
John Chiang: 30 percent
Delaine Eastin: 20 percent
No Endorsement: 3 percent
These statistics were particularly interesting.
Not one candidate garnered widespread support. The Democratic Party is truly ripping apart, and the unity which Democratic delegates were hoping to exude to the public is not working out quite as well as hoped.
Gavin Newsom didn't even break 40% among the delegates. John Chiang did noticeably better, as did Delaine Eastin. For the former mayor of Los Angeles to crash and burn as he did, however, spells doom for this state if it's a Dem vs. Dem contest in November. Democrats obviously do not want Villaraigosa.
He is trying to play the moderate card, and he has Republican consultants working on his campaign. Not good.
California Lt. Governor:
Jeff Bleich: 7 percent
Eleni Kounalakis: 41 percent
Ed Hernandez: 42 percent
No Endorsement: 11 percent
Ouch. There are two clear candidates duking it out for Lieutenant Governor. It will really suck to see another Dem vs. Dem Top Two here, too.
California Attorney General:
Dave Jones: 56 percent
Xavier Becerra: 42 percent
No Endorsement: 2 percent
Wow! Xavier Basura didn't get the endorsement, and he received less support than Dave Jones! OUCH.
I wish that we could deport both of them, though, and settle on Steve Bailey for Attorney General. We need someone who will stand strong with President Trump and AG Jeff Sessions to enforce all immigration laws and deport all illegal aliens.
Dave Jones, the current Insurance Commissioner, got the highest delegate percentage of all the candidates running for statewide offices and contending for the nomination. That's pretty shocking, I must say.
How was he able to accomplish that?
Final Reflection
I heard a whole bunch of negative voices out there telling me that there would not be one Republican on the ballot during the general election for California statewide office.
With the widening dissension among Democrats, and with the number of powerful, outspoken Republicans who are engaging the public and the media, I believe that we will actually see some competition in the state of California.
CA Democratic Party Panic: No Endorsements, Eastin Outpolls Villaraigosa
Election 2018 has become more chaotic over the last weekend.
The California Democratic Party convention did not go as intended for a wide array of candidates seeking big support and major endorsements.
The state party convention delegates have to approve a candidate with 60% of their vote, or no endorsement is offered.
There are so many candidates running for office right now, that they have splintered the vote inexorably
Of the four major Democratic candidates for Governor (with a fifth candidate announcing her bid last week), none of them could achieve an endorsement.
What's more shocking, one of the major candidates, Antonio Villaraigosa, polled way, way behind an otherwise nonentity to many: Delaine Eastin.
Ouch! Let's not forget that Villaraigosa is tap-dancing around signature left-wing causes like single-payer health care, because he is hoping to appear moderate enough to peel away Republican voters in a general election against Gavin Newsom, if the two Democrats are the ones who enter the general election.
But WOW! Eastin got more delegate support than the former mayor of Los Angeles?!
OUCH!
This is not boding well for the California Democratic Party. No matter how much money Delaine raises, she doesn't have major media presence the way that Travis Allen does!

Dear Arthur --
This weekend the California Democratic Party held its annual convention in San Diego, and Delaine crushed all expectations. Delaine was up against two Democratic Party insiders who had received the Party endorsement just four years ago. She hit a home run, getting 20% of the vote compared to Antonio Villaraigosa’s 9%. No candidate received the endorsement and the corporate money backed frontrunner received just 39%.
People are excited and hopping on the Delaine Train. Can you keep our train running on time by donating today? You can also donate by texting 63566 with the text message Delaine.

Delaine’s message of putting all Californians, and particularly our children, first again, is resonating with people of all ages. She has excited former Hillary and Bernie supporters to elect a woman with real convictions who is not for sale to the highest bidder.
Delaine only answers to the people, but she still needs your help. The media continues to discount her because she hasn’t raised enough money. Help change that narrative by becoming a monthly donor. Or make a one time only contribution today.
Together, we can truly create a brighter future for all Californians.
Thank you,

Bye-Bye DiFi? California Democratic Party Refuses to Endorse Feinstein Re-Election Bid
Now this is stunning. I saw this article on my smartphone news feed. US Senator Dianne Feinstein not only could not achieve a full endorsement in her re-election bid for office, but her challenger Kevin de Leon defeated her by nearly 20 points, even though neither candidate reached the necessary threshold of 60% of party delegates.
National Public Radio reports:
Democrats are delusional. They are pushing a leftwing agenda that is so out of touch with reality, that registered Democrats in California as well as all over the country actually lined up to support Donald Trump. They want jobs back. They want the borders secure. They want to know that the United States will remain a viable country for their children and their children's children. The progressive lunacy of the current party, combined with their long record of corruption and graft, has turned off so many left-wing Democrats that they have abandoned the party altogether.
Reflection
National Public Radio reports:
Before U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein could finish her speech at the
California Democratic Party convention Saturday, the music began playing to
indicate she had used her allotted time.
The convention delegates, grassroots left-wing activists can't wait to get rid of her. She is too "Republican" for their taste, which is hard for me to believe, since she is a full-on baby killer, family destroyed, gun grabber, and corporate Swamp Creature.
She kept talking. The music got louder. "I guess my time is
up," Feinstein conceded as what sounded like a 1940s movie score continued
playing.
Without missing a beat, supporters of her opponent, state Sen. Kevin de
León echoed her statement in a chant: "Your time is up! Your time is
up!" — a not-so-subtle reference to Feinstein's 25 years in the U.S.
Senate.
Ouch! How about that? Grandma DiFi is getting heckled by the younger generation. They want her gone. She is too nice, in their estimation.
It was a sign of things to come. The grass-roots Democratic activists
gathered at the party's annual convention in San Diego this weekend implicitly
rebuked the state's senior U.S. senator by denying her the party's endorsement
for her re-election bid.
Feinstein finished far behind de León, the top Democrat in the state
Senate. De León received 54 percent of delegates' votes to just 37 percent for
Feinstein. It takes 60 percent to receive an endorsement.
That is staggering. Sneaky Dianne Feinstein is finding herself forced more and more to the left, and even then she is still not with it. Such is the result of one election after another into higher office.
While the lack of an endorsement certainly won't keep Feinstein off the
ballot, it's a sign that grass-roots Democrats are eager to supplant leaders
who are seen as too moderate and willing to compromise.
Democratic Party activists have never really been Feinstein's people.
In 1990, when she was running for governor, she came to the party convention
and expressed her support for the death penalty, eliciting boos from the
liberal crowd. She lost the party endorsement to John Van de Kamp but got the
nomination anyway, ultimately losing the November election to Pete Wilson.
30 years ago, the political divides among Democrats was effective enough to guarantee Republicans a seat at the general election table and into statewide office. Now one has to wonder if there will be enough division among the two ravening factions of the California Democratic Party to allow any kind of opportunity for a Republican to get into the Top Two for statewide office!
Feinstein has always been a little to the right of where the party's
activists are. Now, at age 84 and in her final campaign, Feinstein is once
again at odds with progressives, despite her efforts to move left by more
strongly opposing President Trump's agenda.
She said the Senate Appropriations Committee, which she sits on, would
never approve $25 billion for Trump's wall along the Mexico boarder. But
minutes later, de León's team sent texts noting that Feinstein had just voted
for exactly that as part of the "Common Sense Coalition" immigration
plan that failed to get through the Senate.
Wow! What a stunner! DiFi did vote to fund the wall. Kamala Harris and the two US Senators from New Mexico rejected the Schumer-Rounds legislation because of the wall funding, which really wasn't funding because of the byzantine regulatory burdens imposed on yearly border appropriations.
The bill would not only have provided a path to citizenship for
so-called Dreamers, people in the U.S. illegally who were brought here as
children, but it also included $25 billion for the wall.
Feinstein also reminded the crowd of her longstanding leadership on gun
control, including her success against long odds at getting an assault weapons
ban signed into law in 1994.
She is a has-been to the Democratic Party. She has not authored any substantive legislation since her 1992 election. Not only that, but the assault weapons ban is now considered too conservative for Democrats. They want an all out gun ban, and they want the full repeal of the Second Amendment.
The Democratic Party has no real sentiment for constitutional government anymore.
In his speech to the convention, de León reminded the crowd that his
opponent hasn't always been a reliable liberal. "Democrats, you'll never
have to guess where I stand," de León said before noting that he has
championed issues such as raising the minimum wage, single-payer health care
and the environment.
Dianne Feinstein opposes single-payer healthcare, and she has expressed deep skepticism for Bernie Sanders' Medicare for All proposals.
![]() |
| "DiFi, just DIE already!" |
She also opposed Kevin de Leon's sanctuary state legislation, although she has also voted against blocking grants to sanctuary cities.
State Senator Kevin De Leon has repeatedly hammered Feinstein over her ongoing support for Middle Eastern Wars, including Bush's War in Iraq. She also supported President Trump's limited action Syria early last year, and that upset regressive leftists, too.
"Moral clarity is always doing the right thing when no one is
watching," he said. "And it should never take a primary challenge to
stand up for California values."
California values, indeed. You mean, like the values which led to the murder of Kate Steinle?
As leader of the state Senate, De León has had his own problems of
late, most notably criticism of his slow response to the sexual harassment
scandal in Sacramento. And while an endorsement from the Democratic Party would
have provided a boost, his campaign is also overshadowed by Feinstein's huge
advantages in name recognition and campaign cash. A recent poll from the Public
Policy Institute of California had her leading de León by 46 percent to 17
percent.
DiFi has big money and a big name. Will Republican support in the general election help push her over the top? Will it moderate her voting record if she gets re-elected?
Despite the boost for De León, the
vote is in some ways a loss for him. Democratic campaign strategist Katie
Merrill says he needed the endorsement much more than Feinstein.
Such is the power of incumbency.
"He was such a narrow path to the Senate, and he had to have this
Democratic Party endorsement," she said. "This was the one strategic
thing he need to accomplish here and he did not accomplish it."
What a dilemma for Republicans in the state of California. There is a plethora of US Senate candidates of all backgrounds running for US Senate. I know of at least four Republicans, none of whom really have a chance. These campaigns are novelty bids at their worst. Elizabeth Emken was the only Republican on the ballot in 2012, and the Los Angeles Times hated Feinstein enough that they featured an extended interview/report on her.
Emken still didn't have a chance. Her campaign supporters had to sell her law signs to make up for the loss. Pretty dispiriting. That was in 2012, and since then Republicans have fled this state in record numbers, while illegal aliens, welfare queens, and public sector unions gather massive strength and power.
What we are looking at going into 2018 is another battle between two Democrats. There is not one single Republican US Senate candidate who stands out. Not one. What are we to do?
LA County for Trump Confronts Democratic Congresswomen Lying About Trump Tax Reform (Photos)
After the small claims hearing in Downey, I took care of two more errands.
Then I went to a GOP Tax Scam town hall, hosted in All Saints Church in Pasadena, CA.
Two Congresswomen were hosting this event:
Judy Chu (D-Pasadena)
Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Huntington Park).
Roybal doesn't represent any part of Pasadena. What was she doing there?
She was just lending a hand in the fight against President Trump and the tax reform legislation which is helping Americans all over.
This "Tax Scam" event took place in a church!
When does this perversity end?
Churches are pushing this regressive leftist agenda. Since when did lining up with the state ensure that more people received and kept receiving abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness?
This is stunning. And it's wrong. Should these churches lose their 501(c)3 status over this? Or should we ensure that every church can preach the Gospel and talk politics from the pulpit? I would go with the latter. Maybe we could get the state of California back on track and find more people to fight against the lawless, statist corruption.
I showed up first, not sure what to prepare for. Were they going to prevent me from entering, as had occurred in Lincoln Heights earlier this month with Mayor Eric Garcetti and his tax scam town hall? I did enter and found a good place to sit. I saved two other seats for anyone else who would show up.
Robin Hvidston arrived next. Judy Chu is her Congresswoman. Ugh! I've got Lyin' Ted Lieu, and Hvidston has to contend with Commie Judy Chu. Terrible. When does the hurting stop? Harim Uzziel and his friend Jesenia Taylor arrived about thirty minutes later:
Chu and Roybal were clearly not thrilled to see us. Roybal knows me very well, since I went to her office in Commerce two years ago to confront her about the two illegals in Huntington Park, among other problems.
Along with the two communistic Congresswoman, LA County Assessor Jeffrey Prang was there, along with a law professor from UCLA, an IRS agent, and a tax advocate.
They all had to concede that the tax reform legislation was doing wonders for working people across the country. Men and women are getting more money in their paychecks. Corporations are coming back to the United States, investing more capital, hiring more workers, producing more products for American markets and helping the economy to roar once again.
They could only nitpick at the fact that the child tax credit will last for five years before Congress has to renew it. Bernie Sanders made the same criticism about the legislation. Senator Ted Cruz offered up a bill to do just that, and asked Bernie Sanders to co-sponsor the legislation. The Vermont socialist has said nothing about it.
The same pablum spilled into 40 minutes before anyone of us could ask questions.
Here's what I wanted to ask the representatives:
Instead, we got to hear more canned questions about how bad Trump is how wonderful the Congressional representatives are.
Boring!
And right on time, the police showed up to survey the situation and keep the little people in line:
Yes, Judy Chu, a real woman of the people. By the time the tax scam town hall ended, Roybal ran out right away! She knows that we confront liberal loony corrupt politicians like her, Kevin De Leon, Ricardo Lara, and the rest.
Commie Chu had hoped to escape, but we followed her out demanding to know why she keep lying about Trump's tax reform legislation and why she keeps putting the needs of illegal aliens ahead of American citizens.
She wasn't interested in talking to us:
We got another runner!
Afterwards, we went to the front of the church and left a sign underneath their "DREAMer" banner.

Delusional Democrats are Still Organizing!
We need to take these delusional Democrats seriously. They don't care about public safety, life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. They are a growing threat to our constitutional republic, and we need to make sure that they do not gain any real power in Congress.
Republicans have no enacted everything that was expected, but the solution is to purge out the establishment RINOs and bring in more rocksteady conservatives ready to push the MAGA Agenda all the way.
We can do this, and we should give Republicans another two years to raise heaven and Make America Great Again.
Democrats have no money, mo morals, and no ideas. Even in California, where they are dominating like crazy, they are splitting along very real fissures. The Bernie faction versus the Hillary faction has become so sharpened in their conflict, that the California Democratic Party covention could not issue endorsements for statewide candidates!
There are simply too many of them!
But ... the Democrats are organizing nonetheless. We need to confront them very strongly on all of this!

Arthur --
When I started building out the political and organizing team at the DNC, I knew one thing for sure: I didn't want to hire people who know how to schmooze -- I was looking for organizers who have done the work that wins elections. The truth is that Democrats won't win big this year unless we organize in every single community across the country -- and our victories in states like Alabama and Oklahoma show that any state is fair game. My team is already working on the ground in states across the country to build a massive, national organizing program. But organizing is expensive, and without a huge amount of grassroots support, we won't be able to build the kind of organization we will need to take back Congress and start fundamentally changing our country's politics. Chip in $3, before Wednesday's end-of-month deadline, to fund the DNC's 2018 organizing program and help elect Democrats nationwide. If we don't organize, we won't win -- it's that simple. Here's the thing, Arthur: Organizing doesn't happen overnight. It requires building relationships with people on the ground and making long-term investments that will last beyond a single election cycle. We've already seen what happens when we invest early. After sending organizers to Alabama to work directly with Doug Jones' campaign, we shocked Republicans with a victory no one thought was possible. The DNC also made critical investments in Virginia that helped elect Ralph Northam governor and flip 15 House of Delegates seats from red to blue. Those victories are proof that in order to replicate our success this year, we need to scale our organizing work -- and we need to do it early. Organizing early is the only way to win. Thanks for making that work possible. Amanda Amanda Brown Lierman Political and Organizing Director Democratic National Committee |

New Hampshire GOP Demands Resignation of Convicted Democrat
The New Hampshire Republican Party is taking names and taking down bad Democrats in the Granite State.
This is how a state political party should act. They need to go on the offensive as much as possible. Every time a Democrat or a liberal, anti-conservative Independent elected official or group fails, falls, or commits a felony, they need to be held accountable.
This kind of news would never reach me or anyone else if everyday New Hampshire readers relied on the local or national mainstream media.
Where is the California Republican Party to go after these massive failures among California Democrats? Two Democratic assemblymembers have already resigned because of sexual assault and misconduct allegations.
The vast majority of California voters--and even California Republicans--do not know about these developments.
Let's get the word out! We can't make California Great Again unless California voters know how bad the Democrats have made it, and the Republicans demonstrate their willingness to fight on every angle to make things better for all Californians.
In the meantime, notice the time and effort which New Hampshire GOP leaders take to take down Democrats in their own state:

NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester Statement on Representative Kathy Rogers Pleading Guilty
For Immediate Release: 12/22/2017
Contact: Patrick Hynes, (202) 321-5310
Contact: Patrick Hynes, (202) 321-5310
CONCORD - NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester released the following statement on Democrat Representative Kathy Rogers pleading guilty to assaulting an election recount volunteer:
"The act of assaulting someone is unacceptable for anyone to commit – and when it is politically motivated by an elected official, it is especially despicable. Today, Democrat Representative Kathy Rogers pleaded guilty to assaulting a volunteer during a 2016 election recount. This news is startling and should lead directly to Representative Rogers' resignation from office. The fact that Democrat Party Chair Raymond Buckley and Democrat Minority Leader Steve Shurtleff showed up to signal their support for her is deeply disappointing. We encourage New Hampshire Democrat leaders to send a strong message to Granite Staters that violence against anyone is not acceptable by demanding Representative Rogers to resign effective immediately."
