The Limits of the Pro-Life Movement, and Pro-Life Success in Texas

Another Planned Parenthood has closed down.

Another state has banned mail-order abortion pills, and/or they require mothers to get an ultrasound before seeking an abortion.

Another politician has issued a proclamation declaring June “Natural Family Month” or “Nuclear Family Month.” Of course, you can’t have a family without children, and those children matter from conception.

All of this is well and good.

And yet … abortions are rising across the country.

Earlier this year, State Rep. Tony Randolph of South Dakota informed the state House Health and Human Services Committee about this disturbing trend. The Guttmacher Institute has affirmed the truth of this sad reality.

What’s the problem with these efforts?

Oklahoma State Senator Dusty Deevers reluctantly yet necessarily pointed out that much of the piecemeal pro-life legislation passing around the country serves as “pressure relievers” and nothing more.

These lawmakers, with their proposed statutes tinkering around the edges of ending abortion, virtue-signal about stopping abortions. Legislators can pass statutes to crack down on abortions, but they don’t stop all the abortionists. They refuse to take the necessary steps to ensure that life in the womb enjoys equal protections as life outside of the womb.

Sounds like a no-brainer, doesn’t it? Everyone deserves the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. No one should get in the way of or inhibit those natural rights. All lives matter, do they not?

What do Equal Protection statutes do, specifically? They require that every party seeking an abortion be held criminally liable, including the mother.

This proposal strikes many as harsh, but let’s put aside the emotions and consider the facts and the law. If someone’s life is taken—aside from reasons of self-defense or retribution for crime—the murderer should go to jail. And yet … numerous pro-life groups oppose equal protection laws. They oppose any criminal liability for the mother who seeks the abortion. They would rather make it more difficult to obtain an abortion (which is not working) or just target the doctors and bureaucrats who facilitate the abortion, which is neither just nor effective.

Yes, the language of “prosecute the mother, too” is harsh. But abortion is far worse. The murder of an innocent life, whether inside or outside the womb, should outrage all of us to demand the fullest protections possible for that life.

Thankfully, more groups are rising up to make the case for these necessary reforms. Taking away the spin and the distractions, the emphasize the full barbarity of abortion plus the necessity for holding all parties accountable.

One group that I have written about previously, the Foundation to Abolish Abortion, just celebrated its latest victory in upholding and strengthening the Texas GOP platform, ensuring that the party demands that all GOP lawmakers pass equal protections for all lives. My friend Tracy Shannon, who served as Texas Director for MassResistance, was also present, and updated me on the fight to retain the best platform to protect life.

As expected, like at previous Texas GOP conventions, pro-life establishment groups requested that the Texas GOP delegates soften the platform. Their advocacy stems from long-standing (unfounded) fears of turning off prospective voters and making it harder to protect women and stop abortions.

How do the more establishment pro-life groups make their case for such a backward proposal?

One of their repeated talking points relies on arguing that such laws will criminalize mothers. Those arguments are fatuous and silly. Being a mother in and of itself is not a crime. It’s a blessing. Any law that ensures equal protections for all life ennobles the calling of motherhood (as well as fatherhood!) When a pregnant mother seeks to kill her children through an abortion, she is committing a crime! It’s the action, not the identity of the person, that’s at stake. Why would any government not enact such necessary strictures to stop the slaughtering of innocents?

These weaker Pro-life and pregnancy groups suggest that mothers who have attempted an abortion, who then backed away from the procedure, would face severe criminal sanctions for what they tried to do. Granted, it’s true that in many cases, women have been coerced into seeking an abortion. (Sadly, there are growing examples of women proudly celebrating their abortions, too!) The pro-life establishment groups fear that stricter measures to protect unborn children may induce the opposite effect, i.e., more mothers will just carry out the abortion that they have attempted because they will be charged anyway.

Let’s assess these fears.

First of all, regardless of one’s sentiments on the whole sordid subject, attempted murder in all cases is still a crime, as it should be. We should all demand a society—and expect these values to be honored in community—that rigorously punishes any attempt to end an innocent person’s life. A jurisdiction that doesn’t treat death threats seriously is a community that will witness death on a greater scale.

Second, in cases of coercion or duress, the penalties are reduced, but there are still penalties for taking a life. No matter what the circumstances, every one of us should support protecting the innocent, born and unborn.

Most importantly, though, such harsh penalties ensure that more women will not abort their children. During the same HHS hearing mentioned above, one of the lawmakers explained that she would support equal opportunity legislation because one of her constituents admitted that she would have sought an abortion when she was younger, but refused to do so because she would have been charged with murder!

Thankfully, the arguments to soften the pro-life plank fell on deaf ears at the Texas GOP convention this year, and the Texas GOP has retained its commitment to the full abolition of abortion. Ben Zeisloft of the Foundation to Abolish Abortion celebrated not only the maintenance of the equal protections plank, but also the enhanced language:

The convention of the Republican Party of Texas in Houston last week resulted in the strongest anti-abortion platform and legislative priority language in party history.

The priority language contains an explicit call to pass equal protection of the laws for preborn babies, thereby protecting them with the same laws against murder which already protect born people, and to close the specific loopholes in Texas law granting women immunity for abortions. The legislative priority also condemns IVF and commercial surrogacy as destructive practices.

There is so much one could say about the surrogacy industry, which commodifies children and puts adult wants ahead of the needs of children. That’s a different topic for another time.

In a similar vein, many pro-life groups are thinking about the feelings or the outcomes of the mother, but not thinking about the well-being of the child. Pro-life means pro-life for all, and none of us should be distracted by misplaced sympathy or compassion when a mother perpetrates an abortion against her child.

The whole mindset about protecting life must adapt. Do we want to save lives or not? Do we want to virtue-signal, or do we want to advance virtue in our country and our culture?

In the war against abortion, abolition is the only way, and equal protection laws ensure that abortion will be prosecuted as a crime for all parties involved.

Election 2024: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President

I understand that Donald Trump did some good stuff during his 4 years in office. Sure, we had a strong economy and we were energy independent. Yes, he appointed 3 new Supreme Court justices, And they repealed Roe v. Wade. But in the last two years he has denigrated the pro-life movement, and his Supreme Court justices have not been as conservatives as they should have been. Besides, there is more to conservatism than low taxes and cheap gas.

And you know what? There's a lot of stuff that he didn't complete, including the border wall, ending the birthright citizenship fraud, and cracking down on The Swamp. And there's some stuff that he started that was bad, like supporting the LGBT agenda, undermining Second Amendment protections, and increasing the national debt by $7.2 trillion.

Sure, he kept us out of more foreign wars, but he didn't get our troops out of Afghanistan. When crime was breaking out across the country, he posed for photos and tweeted "LAW AND ORDER!' Trump surrounded himself with sycophants who flattered him, then undermind him at every turn. He has still not learned the lesson that personnel is policy! He still calls RINO Lindsey Graham a friend.

We need a president who will make promises and keep them, and who is not afraid to take the lead and do what is right even when everybody else says that it's wrong. We need a president who is not afraid to use executive power and accomplish good ends. We need a president who has a record of success not just for himself, but for helping other Republicans and other good people getting elected. We need a president who has a broad vision not just to make America great again for four years, but who will restore America's greatness and attachment to our foundational beliefs and fundamental principles for years to come.

And above all we need somebody who has stood up completely to the health care-police state that was imposed upon us because of COVID-19.

And that is why I support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President!

More Dobbs Victories: Chemical Abortionist Drops Lawsuit

Image

Dear Moral Outcry Signers and Justice Foundation Supporters:

There is more great news following the reversal of Roe v. Wade, which you helped to create by your prayers, testimonies and financial support.

CHEMICAL ABORTION MANUFACTURERS DROP LAWSUIT

Chemical abortion manufacturers recently dropped a lawsuit against the state of Mississippi to force them to allow the administration of chemical abortions, the abortion pill.  However, the state of Mississippi argued that federal distribution of abortion pills through the mail is currently prohibited by federal law. This is true no matter what the Biden Administration says it wants to do, current federal law prohibits the distribution of abortion-producing drugs through the U.S. mail.

Read the press release from Mississippi Attorney General here. God has given us a mighty victory by reversing Roe v. Wade, as He said He would do in the year 2000, when He gave us the promise of Isaiah 28:14-22. God is faithful! God is amazing!  God is on the move!

The Building Trades Executive Director is Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

Chris Hannan

In the latest issue of "Building Trades News," Executive Secretary Chris Hannan used his monthly  column to denounce the repeal of Roe v. Wade.

However, the first part of his column shows the importance of fighting for life:

In California, the Building Trade, "the Construction Department of the AFL-CIO," has been standing up for workers' rights for more than 100 years.

It seems really strange that private sector unions consider abortion a "worker's right."

The ability to be a member of a union has empowered us to maintain this voice and our place in the middle class. Our country stands for freedom, including freedom to have differences of opinion, religious, and every possible difference imaginable.

Except, it seems, when it comes to defending the rights of the unborn. What really bothers me about this line of reasoning is that discussion is an abstraction. Yes, people can and should be able to discuss differences of opinion and make their points plainly heard without suffering consequences. However, when we are talking about human lives, the issue goes far beyond a difference of opinion. Life is a natural right, and natural law requires that we defend life.

One cannot claim that they can about freedom when in the same sentence they want to maintain the right to take life for any reason.

As the leader of this Building Trades Council, a union member and the father of a wonderful daughter and son, I feel th eneed to address a terrible step backwards for our country.

He is a parent, and he is a proud parent. He would have never been a parent if he had killed his children before they were born.

In 2018, my wife and I were told that our unborn son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. At times, it seemed like we were encouraged not to bring our into this world.

Later in his column, he affirms that he and his wife put their children first, including their newborn son. They choose life, and that is a good thing.

But then he writes about his son:

David is a wonderful boy who brings joy to my life every day. He inspoires me every moment.

Guess what, Chris: every baby has that power and opportunity if they are allowed to be born!

And yet ...

In June, the United States Supreme Court overturned the law of the land that was codified in Roe v. Wade.

There are so many problems with this one sentence alone, I do not know where to begin. The Supreme Court does not make law, so it could not overturn a law, even if it wanted to. Second of all, because Roe was not a law to begin with, it was never a law in the first place! Third, the repeal of this decision does not strike down any abortion laws, because the Supreme Court rightly restored the legislative authority on this issue back to the states, where it has always belonged.

The ability of women to make their own health care deciscions was stripped away by the Supreme Court.

This is another ludicrous statement. Abortion access is not healthcare. Abortions hurt the mother, as much as they kill another life. This is the most outrageous rhetorical fraud in the whole abortion debate. On top of that, a mother's desire for healthcare is not compromised, even if the mother supposedly believes that includes abortion, because the mother can seek an abortion in a number of states.

When I read this article, I was struck by the lack of logical flow, since he talks about freedom, then he talks about being a parent, he then shares the joy of being a parent, then all of a sudden segues into criticizing the Supreme Court for repeal Roe.

He gives considerable attention to his joy in becoming a father, and he stands by he and his wife' decision to have their third child, even though he faced a significant health deformity. This line of reasoning would suggest that he is pro-life.

And yet, he believes that the Supreme Court was anti-freedom for requiring the states to enact codes allowing abortion. The court expanded freedom, and many states are taking a stand to protect life, which makes the expression of freedom possible.

I wonder how the members of the Building Trades Council feel about their current executive director. He is inarticulate, partially incoherent, politically obtuse, and greatly misinformed. Perhaps we can understand why so many union leaders throw in with the Democrat Party, and at the same time when many union members feel increasingly disenfranchised by their own leaders. Once again, what does pushing for abortion rights have to do with fighting for worker freedoms on the jobsite?

Roe v. Wade Will Not Harm GOP Chances in 2022 (and Beyond)

Well, this is good news:

The overturning of Roe v. Wade is not going to wipe out the GOP ticket this year.

People are so angry about the blunt, in-your-face bread-and-butter issues crushing their wallets right now. People are fed up with the rising crime, the open borders, the government overreach tied to COVID-19.

AND, there is a growing consensus in this country that accepts limits on abortion. Dobbs v. Jackson does not criminalize abortion across the fifty states. The ruling does restore the power of the several states to restrict abortion as they see fit.

And many states (and more importantly, their voters) have seen fit to abolish the horrific practice.

Good for them, I say!

For decades, conservative pundits and prognosticators worried that if the Supreme Court finally removed Roe, the outcome would galvanize Democrats like never before to push all kinds of radical laws throughout the country. Worse yet, in whatever year that Roe went down, Democrats would swarm local and state elections, giving consummate power to Democratic party bosses.

The horror! The horror!

And yet, it looks as though that is not going to happen. In fact, the general ballot shows the GOP turnout increasing! Recall that in 2010, Democrats enjoyed a +3 generic ballot advantage, and they lost a net 60 house seats.

If the general ballot now has Republicans polling ahead, and at +5 (or even +10), that means we are looking at a massive GOP global flood!

And the repeal of Roe v. Wade is assisting this effort.

Lesson to the GOP Establishment: fulfill your promises, do your job, and you can win.

Trump capitalized on this basic idea, and he won a lot of victories while seated in the White House, and he is still winning today.

Mississippi Missing: President Trump, Not Reagan, Achieved Massive Pro-Life Victories

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves issued a proclamation renaming June "Sanctity of Life Month":

God bless him for doing this.

However, he is thanking and quoting the wrong person.

Yes, President Ronald Reagan said many great things about life and ending abortion. Yes, he talked a good game.

But it was President Trump who successful fulfilled the promise of the Republican Party to end Roe v. Wade.

Trump is the first president to speak at the March for Life rally in Washington DC.

Trump consistently cut funding to Planned Murderhood and other abortion abbattoirs committed to killing children.

Trump fought and pushed through three pro-life Supreme Court Justices, all of whom navigated the precarious questioning regarding legal precedent, natural law, and the constitutional authorities of the United States Supreme Court.

Trump deserves major respect and recognition for this massive achievement, and Republicans across the country better start respecting him for that!

This pro-life movement's victory does not belong to Ronald Reagan: it belongs to President Trump!

Mississippi Declares June as Pro-Life Month

Dear Arthur,

I'm happy to let you know that the good news continues following the recent Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade! I'm want to share these two stories that are a direct result of God’s blessing on our nation for its decision to respect life.Company will support employee who choose birthBuffer Insurance, a company based in Texas, has announced its full support for employees who honor life. In a swipe at secular companies who will pay employees to abort their babies, Buffer announced on its Facebook page, "Today we are announcing that Buffer will pay the costs for our employees who birth babies." It went on to include adoptions, saying, "Buffer will pay the medical costs associated with the adoption of a new baby."To further its commitment to life, Buffer is also offering ready-to-use policies so that other companies can add them to their employee handbooks.

Mississippi Gov proclaims June as Sanctity of Life MonthI am thankful to Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves for proclaiming June as Sanctity of Life Month in Mississippi. The overturning of Roe v. Wade is an answer to almost 50 years of prayer on the part of the church in America. Making June a month to commemorate this victory, which we hope will serve as a hedge against our culture of death, is a wonderful follow-up to the high court ruling.I want to strongly encourage you and pro-life organizations to work with political leaders to have similar proclamations issued in your state, making June "Sanctity of Life Month," a time to remember and celebrate the overturning of Roe v. Wade.Let us continue to praise God for the overturning of Roe v. Wade in our country and continue to pray God’s blessing as we keep working to protect the lives of unborn babies.

Sincerely,

Tim Wildmon, PresidentAmerican Family Association

Democrats Are Grifters, Too

Check out this outrage from progressive abortion activists:

The Democratic Party demagogued the abortion issue for decades. They always claimed that they cared about a "woman's right to choose." The funny thing, though, is that Democrats had strong majorities in Congress for decades, and yet they did nothing to codify Roe v. Wade into law.

When Barack was first elected in 2008, he commanded a filibuster-proof majority in the United States Senate along with broad majorities in the House of Representatives.

And instead of codifying abortion once for all, he focused on Cap-and-Trade (which died in the US Senate without a vote), and then pushed Obamacare, which was so roundly hated that Democrats lost 63 seats in the House in 2010.

Republicans gained six US Senates, too. People were so angry at Obama and his wasted political capitol.

Now, here were are in 2022, and the United States Supreme Court has struck down Roe v. Wade.

Oh, Happy Day indeed!

This is a huge victory for the conservative cause generally, for Republicans particularly, and for President Trump completely.

What makes this victory so ... vindicating is that the Democrats are losing their base, votes, and money because of this issue. They promised, they fundraised, they begged, they pleaded for progressive voters to stick with them, that they would do everything in their power to protect abortion privileges.

And when they had the power, they did nothing with it.

Check out this epic rant from a frazzled progressive:

This guy is tired of the fundraising emails, too.

In a sense, though, I can imagine how frustrated these left-wing activists are. For decades, Republicans have faced the same frustrations and disappointments from national Republican elected officials. They said they would repeal Obamacare, and they did not. They said they would secure the border, and many of them reneged or ran away from the pledge.

They also said that they would End the Fed, stop the taxation, and that they would curb the excessive spending, which they have never done.

The biggest difference between Democrats and Republicans, at least among the grassroots, is that we Republicans learned a LONG, LONG time ago that Republicans in and of themselves were untrustworhty. We have carried this healthy suspicious of the state for a long time. We know that the government is full of liars, cheats, and thieves, and we were never under any pretense that they will follow through on anything they promise to do, unless we push them.

Also unlike the Democrats, we had President Donald Trump. He was an outsider, a disruptor, someone who was beholden to no one. He accomplished many of the promises he had outlined on his political platform. He came through for us on many issues, and even when he failed on some issues, we did not throw up our collective hands and give up. Trump really cares about this country, and the voters who supported him picked up on that caring.

Democrats have no "Trump-like" equivalent. Even Bernie Sanders, the outspoken Independent Socialist, has sold out his morals, becoming a best-selling writer and millionaire. He has abandoned the fight for his crypto-communist agenda, and at the end of the day, he is too cowardly to fight for what he believes in, anyway.

Democrats have so much to grieve from these past two weeks. President Trump came through on so many promises, he delivered a winning conservative majority on the United States Supreme Court, and he has accomplished one of the most fundamental platforms of the Republican National Committee: the repeal of Roe v. Wade.

Democrats are still waiting for single-payer healthcare (which they will never get). They are still waiting for the massive corporate tax hikes. They are still clamoring for some sort of Green New Deal (which will also never happen.)

In fact, Democratic partisans, progressive activists, and left-wing agitators are really feeling the heat, since conservative activists have learned to fight hard, fight back, and not accept less than everything that is best for our country. Unlike regressive leftists, made conservatives and common-sense citizens have children, they own property, and they want to protect their progeny and their legacies. They will fight for more than power for power's sake.

Democrats, progressives, regressive leftists have nothing to fight for, because they do not believe in anything. They have embraced nothing but a transvaluation of values, and now they have nothing. What's worse, they have endured one of the most rigorous political disappointments and cultural defeats in a generation.

And I am loving every minute of it!

For the longest time, I assumed that Republicans were the grifters. After all, Dinesh D'Souza explained to a young conservative in Letters to a Young Conservative that conservative in general care about money, while liberals care about power. Over the last six years, conservatives have learned to care about power, and they no longer shrink away from using their newly-acquired power to do good, to further their causes, to promote their agenda.

The grift is no longer enough for conservatives and common-sense constitutionalists. We expect results, because Trump delivered. Democrats are going to find out, however, that the elected officials whom they have trusted are not up to the task of delivering. They don't want to. They don't care, because they never did.

Equality California: Roe v. Wade is in Danger (GOOD!)

 Well, check this out!

Equality California is panicking because the Supreme Court may end up declaring that killing babies is no longer a constutional right!

WOW! Shameful, but true: the LGBT lobby is committed to baby-killing as much as it is committed to marriage destroying and break-up of the natural family.

Shame on them!

Check out their latest fundraising push:

Arthur,Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard a case that could potentially overturn Roe v. Wade -- and initial reactions from the Justices do not look great. But know that Equality California is committed to this fight. We’re standing with our friends at Planned Parenthood and NARAL and millions of Americans across the country to do everything in our power to protect reproductive freedom. Please take a moment to read the following note from my dear friend and Planned Parenthood Los Angeles's President & CEO Sue Dunlap and consider making a contribution to join this important fight »- Tony

Hello Arthur,My name is Sue Dunlap and I’m the President of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. I’m also a proud member of Equality California’s board of directors. The Supreme Court just heard a case about a Mississippi law that bans abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy. This case is widely considered to be the most dangerous threat to Roe v. Wade in decades. The fight for reproductive rights is also the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. Not only because LGBTQ+ people need access to reproductive care, but also because the right to privacy is the central tenet behind both legal precedents. If we lose Roe, all of our other victories could be on the line.As a board member of Equality California and someone who cares deeply about reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ equality, I’m asking you to join our fight by making a $15 donation now:

If you've saved your payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately:

This year, state legislatures all across the country launched relentless attacks against reproductive rights. And to some degree, they’ve already accomplished their goal. This, of course, was to hand the Supreme Court a case that could overturn Roe, and the new conservative justices on the bench will deliver them a win.Let me just say this: If the Court rules in their favor and guts Roe v. Wade, at least 21 states will immediately ban abortion. That means millions of people across the country will lose access to critical, life-saving care. They will lose agency over their own bodies. And we will be rolling back decades of progress that we fought so hard to secure. We need to be ready to fight back. This is too big a fight for Planned Parenthood to shoulder alone. We need our partners with us on the ground -- and I’m so proud that Equality California is answering this call. Please consider making a donation right now to help us protect reproductive freedom:https://go.eqca.org/a/Reproductive-JusticeI sincerely hope that you join us because this is a fight we just can’t afford to lose.Thank you so much!- SueSue DunlapPresident & CEO of Planned Parenthood Los AngelesSue Dunlap

Final Reflection

First goes Roe v. Wade, then falls Obergfelle.

It is time for us to correct the ship of state, and that starts with the Supreme Court putting itself back in its proper lane, and to get out of forcing perverse outcomes onto a country which does not celebrate sexual perversion or the destruction of life.

"LGBT is here to stay. Get over it" -- No, We Shouldn't. Here's Why

I have so many people who have said to me "There is no point in fighting this LGBT agenda. There is no point in fighting gay marriage. That horse has left the barn. That ship has sailed."

Well, imagine if pro-life advocates had been that cynical and self-defeating after Roe v. Wade in 1973? That perverse decision was rendered by a lop-sided 7-2 majority, devoid of legal argument or scientific fact. From that moment on, the Pro-Life Movement was born, and it has grown considerably. Today, the Pro-Life Generation is younger, more active, more militant than ever. They don't back off, cave in, or run away from the fight for life!

Ronald Reagan used to be pro-choice. Then his mind changed.
The same thing can happen to our culture regarding family.

It's important to remember that both major political parties were pro-choice. Richard Nixon was pro-choice, and so was Gerald Ford. Before he ran for President, Ronald Reagan was pro-choice. What changed? Within seven years of Roe v. Wade, the Christian Coalition rose up and changed politics in this country. They prodded Reagan to be pro-life, and they have accomplished far more in making President Donald J. Trump the most pro-life President in our nation's history!

Now, let's look at the LGBT agenda, and the arguments which precipitated this movement.

In 1986, the Supreme Court ruling in Bowers v. Hardwick upheld anti-sodomy laws because according to the majority, there is no constitutional right to sodomy. That was a 5-4 decision, and one of the justices in the majority later regretted his vote because he did not "known" any homosexuals. What does personal affection or affiliation have to do with constitutional principles? The key arguments for striking down the anti-sodomy statutes focused on right to privacy and "Live and Let Live", i.e. a libertarian argument. That approach failed.

From that point forward, the LGBT lobby focused on arguments from a civil rights perspective, i.e. "I was born this way." If someone is born gay, then it would be such aggravated bigotry to punish someone for "being gay". That would be so cruel, right?

Here's the fundamental problem with that argument: that's a total lie. No one is "born that way." The growing scientific evidence affirms tihs recognition. Just as in 1973, the general public wrongly believed that the human being inside the mother's womb was not a living being, so too today the general public has been believing a falsehood, that people are genetically endowed, determined toward homosexual activity. The growing body of evidence on this subject is confirming that homosexual conduct is not innate, genetic, or inherent. Even LGBT activists themselves are slowly conceding this fact.

If the Pro-Life Movement could proceed with the truth and slowly but surely change the minds of the public to embrace pro-life policies, so too should we in the pro-family movement fight for pro-family outcomes. Yes, we can envision a country where false marriage and the natural bonds of matrimony are restored. Yes, we can see a country where attitude about homosexual conduct and the ideology attached to it are rejected.

The Obergefell decision, which imposed false marriage on this country, was more fraught than the Roe v. Wade decision, with four compelling dissenting opinions. The dissenting opinions accurately point out the legal, moral, as well as biological flaws with granting false marriage as a constitutional right. Once again, the Wisdom of the Aged, the learning of our elders, was correct in their rejection of abortion and homosexuality.

This is a fight which can we be won, just as President Ronald Reagan envisioned in 1969 that the Berlin Wall would disappear, and then in the 1980's that Communism would be consigned to the ash-heap of history. We should not just throw up our collective hands with the excuse "The horse has left the barn."
