Dear California MassResistance members and allies:
I cannot believe it has become so dark and dank in the halls of Sacramento.
A terrible piece of legislation, SB 145, passed out of the State Senate last year, and made it as far as the State Assembly Appropriations Committee.
If this legislation passes and becomes law, it would allow homosexuals to prey on youths, have sex with them, and then be able to avoid registering as sex offenders.
This is nothing short of disgusting. The pretended reasons for this legislation is "equity", per openly gay LGBT activist State Senator Scott Weiner. Under current law, a man who has sex with a minor of the opposite sex, if the age difference between the two is less than ten years and the sexual encounter is "consensual" can avoid registering on the sex offender registry.
In contrast, homosexuals who have sex with a minor engage in anal or oral sex, and therefore do not enjoy any such safeguard. These are the clear-cut, technical explanations for this bill is all about. The real consequences, of course, is that men can prey on adolescent boys for sex, and then they can get out of registering as sex offenders by claiming "Well, the sex was consensual."

This bill is nothing short of "pedophile" or "predator amnesty." This is no good. It needs to be stopped at all costs.
This is nothing short of disgusting. Nothing short of evil, and that is saying a lot considering how bad it has gotten in the halls of Sacramento, in the state legislature.

What a joke. Already, we could sense that there would be trouble in paradise having this guy in charge.

DEMOCRAT CA STATE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The California State Assembly has turned into the more moderate or trustworthy body to stop some of the worst legislation in Sacramento.
Speaker Anthony Rendon has taken on the unenviable position of shelving SB 562, the Medicare for All, wannabe single-payer bill from the state senate.
Why me?
This legislation is bad, very bad.
And there is no way
SB 562 hit a brick wall of sorts and is in stasis in the Assembly Rules Committee.
Rendon has a lot of power, and he can decide whether a bill lives or dies in the State Assembly. It's starting to remind me of the madness that former Illinois General Assemblyman Mike Bost had to contend with during his tenure in Springfield.
In this case, I am very glad that he stopped the bill. I would like to see it dead, but that won't happen until it ends up in a policy committee, and then the members can simply vote it down to kill it.
Single Payer Going Nowhere in California
Today is the deadline for the single-payer bill to get out of a policy committee, but Rules has not even referred to bill in the first place!
It's not going anywhere this year.
It could resurface next year, starting at the beginning of the session in January.
But who knows what will happen by then. There are so many problems with the bill, as identified by the Democratic leadership. Of course, I have even more vocal reasons to oppose this perversity.
No matter how much union muscle pushes an agenda, the laws of supply, demand, scarcity will overrule any political posturing.
If we want to ensure more access to health care for all people, the last thing that we want is more of the government getting involved throttling opportunity while jacking up the cost.
To some, the California Nurses Association’s political tactics in
pushing for a single-payer health system seemed a bit, well, extreme.
Single-payer health care is extreme!
The massive government takeover of our medical care system is tyranny wrapped in up in bandages with a red cross on top. We cannot allow this perversion to happen!
Never mind the raucous demonstrations it brought to the state Capitol
in recent weeks, the “shame on you” chants in the hallways, the repeated
unfurling of banners in the rotunda despite admonitions from law enforcement.
Finally, the media are covering the aggressive antics of the Left.
Or are they rather promoting this tender-hearted activism to show that the Nurses Association has the best interests at heart of everyone else in the state of California. FYI: Single-payer is a total disaster for California, and it will ruin countless lives, pushing men and women out of work or deeper into poverty.
To further the nurses’ cause, the union’s executive director, RoseAnn
DeMoro, tweeted out a picture of the iconic California grizzly bear being
stabbed in the back with a knife emblazoned with the name of a powerful state
lawmaker who stalled the single-payer bill sponsored by the union.
That grizzly bear stabbed in the back better represents every citizen who is witnessing his rights getting trampled on as well as his wallet getting raided!
Before and after that tweet, the legislator — a Democrat — said he was
besieged by death threats.
Wow! The progressives are not so progressive, are they?
Meanwhile, the union’s public relations guy blasted a blogger for
Mother Jones magazine — named after the famous union firebrand — for being
insufficiently liberal in his single-payer coverage. “Maybe you can recommend
the name of your magazine be changed … to Milton Friedman, which would better
reflect your class sympathies,” communications director Chuck Idelson wrote
acidly.
Now this is the total insanity of the regressive left! They go after Mother Jones Magazine for being insufficiently liberal? Really?! Wow, the Left is eating its own, and I love watching every minute of it!
Dramatic and, to some, offensive, tactics are nothing new for this
California union of about 100,000 registered nurses, which has made a name for
itself in the state and nationally as a progressive and aggressive political
powerhouse. Its reach has only broadened with the advent of social media.
Leader DeMoro counts more than 29,000 Twitter followers, and CNA’s operation
has a knack for mobilizing protesters and drawing crowds.
29,000 Twitter followers? That's it?! Omar Navarro has twice the number, as do some Congressmen. Not very impressive. Besides, DeMoro is as anti-social as they come!
“The politicians are afraid of these angry intense grass-roots
activists” mobilized by the union, said Mike Madrid, a Republican and principal
at the public affairs firm Grassroots Lab, who believes the tactics could
backfire. “Using fear and intimidation as a tactic in the legislature usually
doesn’t get you too far.”
Mr. Madrid, I hope and pray that these tactics backfire. I also hope and pray that the Supreme Court of the United States will stick a knife in the back of Big Labor and end their coercive, abusive, anti-Constitutional reign over employees. Labor unions have been forcing individual citizens to work for them for years, and then take their money to funnel into candidates and causes without the employees' permission.
Unthinkable. Unconscionable. Unacceptable.
Others are impressed with the union’s drive and creativity, recalling
how in 2005 CNA members taunted California’s then-governor, Arnold
Schwarzenegger, trailing him wherever he went to protest his attempts to roll
back hard-won nurse-to-patient requirements in hospitals. Activists dressed up
as the Republican leader and staged theatrical protests at baseball games, rock
concerts and even the San Francisco Ritz-Carlton.
They are bullies, and bullies need to be punched back--twice as hard! Political figures need to get a backbone and stand up for every citizen of the state of California.
In the single-payer fight, the union has shown it will go just as
fervently after Democratic leaders in a heavily Democratic legislature. While
the union isn’t responsible for everything freelance activists do in a
campaign, the Assembly Democratic caucus has condemned the “bullying tactics”
and violent rhetoric in the CNA-led effort.
Oh boo hoo! The Democrats don't like to be bullied, but for the last ten years the Democratic legislature has routinely harassed homeowners, small businesses, gun owners, city officials, etc. How do they like it?
Though not always admired for its approach, the CNA often gets results
— or works up a sweat trying. It counts among its legislative successes the
1999 passage of the strict nurse-to-patient ratios, the nation’s first such
mandate to bolster staffing in hospitals. It has fended off attempts to
overturn that law, worked to protect employee pensions and pushed for campaign
financing reform. And it lent its considerable political muscle to Bernie
Sanders’ presidential campaign.
Notice, then, that the most organized and aggressive of unions cannot effect ultimate change in every issues. The needs of other special interests or the galvanized voting public can counter-act just about anything that an abusive labor union can dish out.
Historically, the nurses have had the upper hand in labor negotiations,
says Joanne Spetz, director of the Health Workforce Research Center at UC-San
Francisco. That’s partly because in some areas of California it represents most
or all of the registered nurses, including many thousands who work for the
managed-care giant Kaiser Permanente. (Kaiser Health News, which produces
California Healthline, is not affiliated with Kaiser Permanente.)
And yet I have heard many nurses tell me that Kaiser is evil. If they feel that way, why work in a Kaiser hospital?
The union, founded in 1903, has always “punched above its weight,” said
Thad Kousser, chair of the political science department at University of
California-San Diego.
Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, a professor of public policy communication at the
University of Southern California, agreed.
“I’m not sure we would be discussing single-payer if not by the push of
the nurses’ association,” Jeffe said.
The union, which is affiliated with National Nurses United, makes no
apologies for its approach, saying it is determined to hold lawmakers
accountable. And it has no intention of backing off its campaign for a
single-payer system in the state, an effort that would put the California
government in charge of funding health care.
And even then, this abusive union cannot defeat the laws of supply and demand. The state of California cannot pay its pension obligations. The roads are in disrepair. The corruption throughout the state is rife. Men and women routinely do not feel safe in their own cities or counties. The middle-income earners are fleeing the state, and they tend to be the primary taxpayers.
What is the state of California going to do?
“We’re going to demand that the legislature legislate and move this
bill,” said Michael Lighty, director of public policy at California Nurses
Association/National Nurses United. The group on Tuesday plans to stage a
“people’s assembly health committee” mock hearing in Sacramento.
Lighty said that the rallies reflect Californians’ desperation and fear
about losing health coverage under Republican proposals to repeal Obamacare
more than anything else.
Baloney. Voters are losing health insurance already, and the loss got worse when Obamacare was passed.
Although Lighty said the union’s elected nurse leaders collectively
decide on its actions, supporters and critics alike see DeMoro as setting the
tone and agenda.
Of course she is. She is a bully and Big Labor boss out at all costs to push her perverse agenda. I am so tired of these aggressive, abusive labor unions pushing their outrageous, unsustainable agenda onto every other Californian. This is the kind of abusive insanity which defines California Politics.
People focus on DeMoro because she “pushes the parameters of the
politically possible” and that rubs “defenders of the status quo” the wrong
way, Lighty said. DeMoro, on vacation, was unavailable for comment.
Former state senator Sheila Kuehl, who attempted several times to pass
a single-payer bill, said the California Nurses Association has always been
“very aggressive for the things they believed in.”
Kuehl is now one of the Board members on the Board of Supervisors. Heaven help us!
A smaller health consumer advocacy group persuaded Kuehl to carry the
bill for the first time in 2003-04, Kuehl recalled, but the California Nurses
Association brought more visibility and credibility when they joined her
effort. Eventually, it became a co-sponsor.
Since when have labor unions joined as co-sponsors for anything? Who is writing the rules in Sacramento? Who permits this corruption?
“CNA, as fierce and progressive as they are, gave the idea a real
boost,” said Kuehl, now a Los Angeles County supervisor.
Two of her bills passed through the legislature, but both were vetoed
by then-Gov. Schwarzenegger.
One of the few good things done by the last Republican governor. and we can certaily put "Republican" in quotation marks. By the way, let's be honest. The Democraticallly-controlled legislature never believed that the legislation would pass. It was all political theater, from beginning to end.
Kuehl doesn’t buy the argument that the union’s in-your-face strategies
may hurt their chances of passing single-payer later. Union members made nasty
comments about Schwarzenegger at their rallies and that didn’t hurt the CNA’s
reputation, she said.
Let's not forget that the fawning press, then and now, was never going to say anything negative about labor unions and their aggressive, progressive agenda. All of that is changing now.
Madrid, the Republican political consultant in Sacramento, says the
CNA’s aggressive advocacy for a single-payer health system reflects the intense
political polarization seen around the country right now — as well as conflicts
among members of left-leaning causes.
More mainstream Democrats, including Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon —
the recipient of online death threats — say the legislature’s priority is to
defend California against a GOP-proposed repeal of the Affordable Care Act and
massive cuts to Medicaid, the state and federal health plan for the poor.
Rendon as mainstream? Don't make me laugh!
Rendon also said the single-payer bill, though approved by the state
Senate, was “woefully incomplete” and needed to be recast. Among other
problems, it carried a $400 billion annual price tag , according to an analysis
by the state Senate Appropriations Committee.
Yes. That $400 billion marker is a bit steep, folks.
But the CNA sees an opportunity for broader change and believes
single-payer can move forward even as the state fights the Republican proposals
in Washington.
If the single-payer bill stays idle in the legislature this year, the
group vows to try again next year, making it a campaign issue in the 2018
elections.
“The best way to fight the GOP is to have an alternative,” Lighty said.
How about free markets?

State Senator Ricardo Lara has connected much of his legislation to Donald Trump, and stopping his pro-American agenda.

Fast forward two months, and the two California Democratic leaders don't want to talk about Donald Trump.
But now--NOW!--they don't want to talk about Donald Trump anymore,
Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon had a message for California
newspaper publishers Wednesday: “I’m tired of talking about Donald Trump.”
Led by Rendon and Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León,
Democrats in the California Legislature have been setting themselves up as the
resistance to the new administration since before Trump took office. De León in
particular has been very outspoken against Trump and the president’s executive
orders on immigration, saying the actions conflict with California values.
Rendon’s speech before the the California Newspaper
Publishers Association strayed from the typical anti-Trump attack. While Rendon
touched on the stark differences between deep-blue California and a
GOP-dominated federal government, he told a room full of newspaper executives
that his opening remarks at a recent Assembly Democrats Caucus retreat were
that he was tired of speaking about the president.
He sounds a lot like Low Energy JEB!
How funny is that!
“We’re all doing a great job of talking about Trump and
holding Trump accountable,” Rendon said. “If Hillary Clinton had gotten elected
president of the United States, we would have started the year with 2.5 million
children in California living in poverty. If Hillary Clinton had been elected
president of the United States, we would have started the year with crumbling
roads.”
Rendon can't hold his state together. He has no hold on reality, either. Does he really think that a state facing multi-trillion dollar debt and pension liabilities is going to hold anyone accountable?
Really?!
He remarked on the importance of telling the stories of
Californians who suffer from the state’s housing crisis and transportation issues.
Of course, Rendon neglects to mention that the Democrats in Sacramento created these messes and are determined to double down on these failures.
Wow!
I guess California's Democratic leaders have learned the hard way that they are not going to get away with too much playing the blame game!
Trump is here to stay, boys. Suck it up, buttercupts!
California's Speaker of the State Assembly Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) does not speak for me.
He does not speak for all Californians.
He doesn't really care about the Latinos in the state of California, either, even though he claims to care.
If he really cared about "the Latinos", he would not be obsessed with one group of people.
He would enact policies which care for all Californians.
Rendon's discrimination against law-abiding Californians is more than legendary.
It's Napoleonic!
This man has styled himself as the last bastion of safety and security against the incoming Trump Administration. Yet he lives in a fantasy world, as he asserts that the California economy has improved (it hasn't) and that more California residents are safe and secure (they aren't), and that he honors the contributions and concerns of immigrants (he doesn't).
The truth is that Rendon does not care about immigrants, because he refuses to distinguish between those individuals who entered this country legally versus the illegal aliens how broke the law to invade the state of California.
The lawless hypocrisy is inescapable.
Shame on Anthony Rendon. He is not professional, he is not principled, and he is not prepared to be a leader for a state which has steadily gotten worse with every election cycle.
His inaugural speech for the new legislative session was amazing for its standout arrogance, ignorance, and fraud.
Members, thank you for putting your faith in me.
This is an honor I am proud to accept, and will work
diligently to earn.
For once, the Republicans did not join with the Democratic to grant unanimous support and consent to Speaker Rendon. Assembly Minority Leader Chad Mayes should have never seconded his appointment as Speaker of the State Assembly.
Honored guests, friends, and family—ordinarily, this is a
day when Speakers offer pleasantries and plans for the year ahead.
But this is no ordinary time.
For the California Democratic Confederate Kleptocracy, they know that their easy gravy train of stealing from taxpayers and creating more freeloading Democratic voters is coming to a close. Instead of shirking their empty liberal policies, they are doubling down on the moral and financial suicide ruining the Golden State.
And Speaker Rendon is proud of it.
And I would be remiss in my responsibility to this house, to
the people I represent, and to my conscience, if I did not acknowledge that.
You are remiss to everyone who you are supposed to represent, which is everyone in the state of California. Particularly, Mr. Rendon, you are remiss in your responsibilities to the 4 million Californians who voted for
Members, 75 years ago this week, the United States was drawn
into the Second World War.
That war was an existential threat against this nation’s people
and its principles.
We have faced other threats these last 75 years: the Cold
War and nuclear proliferation, the turmoil of the 1960s, the betrayal of
Watergate, and now climate change.
Rendon is comparing the false and fomented hysteria about climate change with World War II?
This man is beyond delusional. He is pre-eminently corrupt and dangerous to the well-being of our state.
These past 75 years have also seen us make important
progress in civil rights, environmental protection, public health and social justice.
At this moment, I believe our nation is facing another major
existential threat – and a threat to the progress that we have attained.
"Social justice" is inherently unjust because he is qualifying it. That is outrageous. Justice is well-defined on its own, and cannot be tinkered or trifled with. What a shame that we have such a pre-eminently slight and biased leader in the state capital.
Is there any hope at this time for Californians, regardless of their background or their political affiliation?
Californians may accept the lawfulness of the November
election, but millions of us do not accept the sentiment delivered by this election.
And it is up to us to pass policies that would firewall
Californians—and what we believe—from the cynical, short sighted, and reactionary
agenda that is rising in the wake of the election.
"Firewall Californians." He wants to intern all the Californians into a fantasy bubble of progressive utopianism. Not for me, thanks. Businesses, families, and retirees cannot get out of this state fast enough. If we want to see where liberty is flourishing, see how people vote with their feet.
And they do not want to plant their feet here.
White nationalists and anti-Semites have no business working
in the White House.
And they don't now--so shut up!
And the Justice Department of the United States has no
business working to dismantle the voting rights, civil rights, equal rights, and
reproductive rights of the American people.
Who says they have been? Truly, Rendon is truly a pyromaniac in a field of strawmen.
In August of 1988, President Reagan apologized to
Japanese-Americans for their internment by saying “here we admit a wrong; here we
reaffirm our commitment to equal justice under the law.”
Yet rather than echoing that commitment to equal justice,
the next administration has talked about those internment camps as a justification for
offensive new policies.
Wait a minute ... didn't Rendon just say that he wanted to build a firewall around California? That sounds like internment to me! Janice Han of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors suggested a similar priority for the county.
In a speech she made in 1940, with an eye toward the looming
war, Eleanor Roosevelt
said this:
“We cannot tell from day to day what may come. This is no
ordinary time. No time for weighing anything except what we can do best for the
country as a whole. And that responsibility rests on each and every one of us, as individuals.”
That is the responsibility we each accepted when we swore to
support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of
California against all enemies—foreign AND domestic.
For all Rendon's lofty talk about defending the Constitution, he is consistently determined to undermine the rule of law and ignore federal authority. This man has no respect for the supremacy clause
Californians should be wary of the national calls for unity
and healing.
Unity must be separated from complicity.
And we must be defiant whenever justice, fairness, and
righteousness require.
Californians do not need healing. We need to fight.
This state is a total mess. Drought, disease, debt, destruction are the norm in this once Golden State. In Rendon's own district, some of the worst-ranking cities in the COUNTRY are located, which include Bell as well as South Gate. What does he have to say about his poor representation? Shouldn't he focus more on making things better for his constituents?
We need to fight to protect our people and their rights.
We need to fight to protect our economy and its growth.
LOL!
The Assembly and Senate will work side by side to enshrine
into law existing protections for all Californians.
His combative, defiant tone did not match with State Senate President Kevin De Leon's tone. De Leon is trying to play cool.
We will be saying loud and clear if you are a woman, your
rights are in force here in California.
If you need health care coverage, we will do all we can so
you can find it here in California.
If you are Muslim or LGBT, or anyone whose rights and safety
are increasingly under fire, you are equal here in California.
And with HR 4, today we are saying if you are an immigrant
you are welcome here in California.
He is lying. He is rolling out the red carpet to illegal aliens, not to immigrants. He does not really care about immigrants, since he does not honor the rule of law, nor does he recognize the supremacy of the federal government.
In short, California will be saying, in the defiant words of
Winston Churchill:
“Today we may say aloud before an awestruck world, we are
still masters of our fate, we are still captains of our souls.”
How interesting. Rendon references Churchill, the same world leader whose bust Obama removed from the White House. Funny.
Others speak of their identity.
But we too have an identity in California.
An identity of inclusion.
Lies. Inclusion is a bad word in California, one which justifies exclusion from reality.
And we will do whatever we can to protect that identity.
Of course, the potential threats from the new administration
are not the only struggle we face as Californians.
There are home-grown challenges, as well.
He's right: they are home grown because the Democrats who run the House have created these problems.
A transportation system that is over-crowded and crumbling.
So why spend money pandering to illegal aliens?
Housing costs so high families can’t make ends meet,
employers can’t recruit, and cops and teachers can’t live where they work.
Regulatory burdens have created this perversity. How about freeing up the economy and getting the California state government out of the way completely?
We tried to address these issues in the last session.
Uh ... no you didn't!
We made some progress, but we did not succeed.
And that is a mark on what was otherwise a tremendous
session.
Members, we have no choice but to solve the housing and transportation
crises in the term ahead of us.
These crises affect each and every one of our districts.
If we don’t step up and solve them, our economy will
decline. And the people we represent will suffer.
California is already in decline, and it has only gotten worse.
This house has solved tough challenges before.
That’s why California’s in the strong economic shape we are.

Members, we just said goodbye to the Assembly Class of 2010.
When they were sworn-in they faced having to close a 26
billion dollar budget deficit.
A deficit that would have been much lower were it not for
the first act taken by an inexperienced, celebrity Governor seven years before.
Thanks to smart decisions and tough choices by voters, the
Legislature, and an experienced Governor, we have turned the state around.
We increased funding for public schools and community
colleges by more than 50% over the past five years.
And higher education funding is greater than it’s ever
been—though we must continue
to do more.
We have—as the Legislative Analyst projects—strong,
multi-billion-dollar structural balances into the future.
We have a debt ratio on track to drop below 5%, and a robust
Rainy Day Fund that takes us off the cycle of “boom and bust” budgeting.
And we have—as the LAO also notes—the ability to withstand a
recession like the 2001 downturn—without the need for service cuts or middle
class tax increases.
While the budget has mainly been driven by Democrats since
voters restored that ability, there are areas where the Assembly has achieved
bipartisan success as well.
Looking out at the faces before me, I am optimistic we can
do the same again.
Especially on housing and transportation, which have
historically been bipartisan issues.
Finally, I would like to note that today, we welcome new
members, returning members, and newly returning members.
Farmers and Teachers. Veterans and first responders.
Prosecutors and public defenders. Scientists and small business owners.
All of us sent here to represent our districts. To make
laws. And—equally important—to perform the oversight that ensures laws are
carried out in the best interests of the people of California.
It is increasingly apparent that those interests will not be
a concern for the next President—for the bullies, bigots, and billionaires he has
chosen for his cabinet—or for the majority in Congress that is already salivating at
the prospect of ending Medicare.
"Bullies, bigots, and billionaires" so accurately describes the Democratic Party power brokers in Sacramento, from Rendon himself to Tom Steyer.
It is up to us to look after the interests of the people of
California.
God help us.
Whether you actively worked to oppose the next President, or
stayed silent hoping he would go away, it is now up to all of us to preserve
California and protect its people.
Members, this is no ordinary time.
And it will require an extraordinary effort from each of us.
We are here to do the people’s business.
And we can’t allow it to just be business as usual.
Final Reflection
Expect business as usual in Sacramento. More spending and pet projects for special interests. More race-baiting and pandering.
Hopefully, we can look forward to more Democratic lawmakers ending up in jail, which will erode their supermajority status very soon.
The Republican Party of California does not have a lot of fighters in Sacramento right now.
Most of them are content to get elected, vote "NO!" on all the bad bills, collect their paycheck and their pension, then find another non-partisan job to drift into.
I have found very few lawmakers who fight for the issues which I care about.
But I don't see them doing much else.
Republican lawmakers will make big speeches against liberal causes.
But when it comes time to vote, some California Republicans taper off and vote for tax increases, or they vote to allow for more benefits to illegal aliens, or they vote for other statist legislation.
All of this is just crazy.
And disappointing.
We the People of the state of California did not sent up Republican representatives to get along and play nice with Democrats. When Assembly minority leader Chad Mayes chose to second the motion appointing Anthony Rendon as speaker of the State Assembly, it was a horrid and sad display of needless, feckless compromise.
I have met minority leader Chad Mayes personally, and I have found him to be all too eager to avoid conflict or discussion of controversial matters. That is not leadership. That is not what we need right now in California.
Then his latest press release, which shamed Trump as well as Democrats, was just plain poor taste. We have a new President, one who respects the rule of law and intends to see our laws enforced. The state of California, and the Democratic majority, have no interest in moderating their views or their values.
They want to fight, double-down, and force their agenda down everyone's throats.
Republicans in the state capital need to understand that they are not interested in playing fair. They have this corrupt, corrosive, Big Government tyrannical world view, all of which is dedicated to crearing power and privilege for a selected class of individuals at the expense of everyone else.
The labor unions, the amnesty advocates, and the big corporations who maneuver through loopholes with an army of lawyers love business as usual in Sacramento.
For the small business owners, for the soccer Moms, for the farmers, and for all other citizens, business as usual has met little or no business at all for them. This is wrong.
And where are the Republicans? Still playing nice instead of fighting back. Where is the bold legislation to make the Democratic majority look bad if they refuse to pass it? Where are the smart legislative suggestions which even the Democratic majority cannot ignore, even though it would making Republicans look effective?
Why aren't Republican lawmakers in Sacramento coordinating with bloggers, writers, and social media personalities to inform the California Republic (that means all legal residents.)
We need more legislators like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and the rest who are not afraid to make some noise and fight. We need legislators who will kick butt rather than kiss butt, who recognize that true power is not about making nice, but doing right.
I want legislators who will take advantage of the longer potential terms in office to raise their voices and reject and frustrate the Democratic majority at every turn.
Above all, I want legislators with a long-term vision for the state. One lawmaker confided to me that he would win his next election bid, but he would probably be the last Republican representing the seat. That is patently unacceptable. Every lawmaker needs to team up with grassroots leaders, activists, any conservative authority interested in expanding the brand as well as engaging the base.
A state representative--whether Democrat or Republican--does not go to the state legislature to collect a paycheck, pad his resume, then descend into semi-retirement in a county government post. We don;t need anymore government welfare queens.
I echo the sentiment of other leaders in the state of California, and direct my remarks to the entire GOP delegation who is not willing to punch back twice as hard:
Through voter fraud, forced unionism, and outright lies, the California Democratic Party has taken back supermajority power in the state legislature.
The first act of the Democratic majority?
They have declared their stern refusal to comply with federal, particularly on immigration.
Pro-amnesty advocates and illegal aliens are demanding that the attorney general not turn over the data base of Mexican and other Hispanic-oriented gangs to the feds.
Two bills have already been introduced into the state legislature.
AB 3 and SB 6
These two bills focus on granting proper funding for legal counsel to illegal aliens once they are dragged into immigration court.
Let me see if I get this right ...
The state legislators, who took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, are now openly defying federal law and the federal government.
They are giving jobs, housing, money, privileges to illegal aliens.
Let's not forget the easy money from food stamps and other welfare subsidies going to the poorest of the poor (if they can be called poor.) Veterans are dying in the streets of California. Moms and Dads who obey the rule of law and work for themselves and their families are heavily taxed.
But the public sector unions, the illegals, and the welfare queens live the life of Riley.

Fight for what? The right to endanger and discriminate against American citizens, or to despise and reject the will of the voters through the Electoral College?
The La Raza infestation of California politics must be confronted and purged.
Men and women of all backgrounds, citizens of every stripe, and being told to sit in the back of the bus, and watch as our borders are overrun by lawlessness, with illegal aliens playing the asylum card, only to still, kill, and destroy.
