More Maxine Waters Town Halls: Lots of Noise and No Real Answers

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is the only Congressional representative in the South Bay section of Los Angeles County currently holding in-person town halls.

Rep. Waters has no reason to hide, and she could ignore the constituents, since she wins by 75% every cycle. Despite the fact that she easily wins, she shows up for her district. This is the key to her lasting power. She brings home the bacon, she makes all the right connections, she stays in the good graces of local leaders, so she just keeps winning.

But are her constituents winning, too?

She’s been in Congress for thirty-five years, and the cities in her district have gotten poorer, dirtier, more expensive, filled with homeless people, and crime-ridden.

But she keeps getting elected, and she keeps holding her town halls, but will anyone hold her accountable?

On October 3rd and October 10th, she held four town halls throughout her district.

Three of them took place in local community colleges. One of them was held in a high school. I attended the three at the colleges. Only one-third to half the seats were filled. Where was everybody?

At every event, the President of the college introduced the event with a Land Acknowledgement. If they feel so guilty about “taking” land from the Tongva/Gabrielino tribes that were running around in the region so many centuries ago, then just go back to wherever you think you came from!

And this was only the first folly from the college presidents.

In their curated introduction, they said that Congresswoman Waters represented Lomita as well as Torrance. During the previous decade, her district did include Torrance and Lomita. Not anymore. How could they be so unprepared? Then they said her latest victory was in 2022. Didn’t she win the election in 2024?

When the 88-year-old Congresswoman finally showed up, she rolled out experts to talk about the issues everyone is concerned about:

·         Housing

·         Affordability

·         Healthcare

·         Election Integrity

·         Immigration

·         Iran

The most famous panelist was Dean Logan, the Registrar-Recorder for Los Angeles County, and he spoke at every town hall on election issues as a courtesy to the Congresswoman. She even bragged that she had been harassing him on the phone about protecting the vote and stopping Trump’s so-called voter intimidation tactics. Logan’ office is supposed to be non-partisan, but he was tipping his hand for the Democrats to win big—most likely because if he doesn’t pander to them, they can cut off his money.

All of the voter precautions he discussed hide the darker reality that Democratic politicians want illegals and non-citizens to vote. Corrupt governments depend on fixing the vote or stuffing the ballot box to ensure their hold on power. Registrar Logan.

On housing, we heard empty talking points about building more. Congresswoman Waters championed a bipartisan bill (The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act) that she worked on with Committee chair French Hill to create a database of available public land as well as rolling back regulations on building materials, a $ 200 million annual grant program to local communities that loosen their zoning laws, and provides a cap on the number of homes that large corporations can open. Repealing bad regulations is good, but bribing cities to throw away their zoning laws is bad, and telling private corporations what they can and cannot buy is just communism. Housing prices are still through the roof in Southern California, despite Waters’ touting this legislation as a success.

The talking heads on affordability and healthcare complained about President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. They whined about the work requirements for recipients to stay on Medicare. These bureaucrats and lobbyists considered eighty hours a month too cruel for able-bodied adults to maintain the government subsidy. (They should get off the dole and get back to work!) They complained about the budget cuts; they complained about the reforms; they complained about the mass firings of federal employees.  To sum up, they complained that the government train of easy money is coming to an end.

The immigration “experts” condemned ICE, accused them of murder (not true), and they encouraged the audience to violate federal law by frustrating the Trump administration’s lawful enforcement of federal immigration laws. What is this?

The panel refused to acknowledge that mass immigration (legal or illegal) means higher costs for everything. Because of the immigration crackdowns, housing costs have actually started coming down in major cities, freeing up the housing market. As expected, Congresswoman Waters’ talking heads wouldn’t discuss bad regulation, high crime, or other issues that actually matter.

The more they complained, the happier I became. President Trump is doing his job, and I am glad that he came back stronger since his previous term.

Then came the question-and-answer periods.

This time around, Waters didn’t throw me out. She probably couldn’t remember me from her January 2026 town hall in Gardena.

At El Camino College, one resident started getting rowdy, and he started yelling at the panelists and the Congresswoman. She was not ready for those disruptions. The man kept bellowing about how he was smarter than everyone else on the stage. The president of the university escorted him out, and two law enforcement officers appeared to keep the peace.

I asked her about the Defund the Police movement in Los Angeles County, and whether she thought it was OK for schools and teachers to keep secrets from parents. In an unprecedented move, she openly differed with the Democratic Socialists of America and made it clear that no city’s police departments were getting defunded. Regarding parents' rights, she hid behind: “I just want everyone to be happy, and I support LGBTQ.”

At the Inglewood town hall, a young woman took to the floor and began yelling and screaming at Congresswoman Waters. Three men in the audience crowded around her to stop her shouting, but she kept yelling. My friend Keith Hardine took the video.

At the Compton town hall, I tried to get her take on biological men invading women’s sports, spaces, and prisons. She refused to defend the women, hid behind this weak argument that the government shouldn’t tell people how to live their lives (as if!), and then declared that she supports the LGBTQ.

At the Southwest College town hall, Louise Solomon of Marina Del Rey yelled at the Congresswoman for violating her oath of office. The whole room erupted, and the Congresswoman shut the meeting down early to avoid further tough questions.

Her constituents have celebrated her for years for delivering government funding for food, housing, and healthcare. How much longer will they tolerate the inaction on all these issues as prices rise and quality of life falls in their communities? This was the first time I had ever seen residents yelling at her from the audience as well.

Is the DSA planning on taking her out in the next election? Will she run in 2028, by which time she will be the oldest member of the House of Representatives? Will her constituents have any patience with her lack of accomplishments? The younger, more socialist generations are getting restless for change, and the older black female Baby Boomers who make up her core support are dwindling fast.

Trump Supporters vs. Barack Obama at Anaheim Convention Center (Full Report)

On Thursday, September 6, the local press finally informed the public where President Barack Obama was going to hold his rally in Orange County. Two days prior, they had informed readers that the former President was coming, but they had no idea where specifically.

I suspect that the press did not record where he was going because his organizers had no idea where to put him. At first they were going to have him speak in one of the large ballrooms at the Anaheim center. Then they ultimately settled for a side room. The first room can hold up to 5,000 people, according to one report.

The number of people who ultimately attended? Between 750 and 800.

Now that is a pretty stingy little number of people, especially for a former president. Obama was supposed to be this big time Messiah for the county, the guy who would bring the hope and change to make everything all well and good in the country.

Here's the full YouTube Live video that I took at the convention center:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxaQDfCw_TI

Not only did that not happen, but many of the Democrats who had supported him walked away, and they voted for Donald Trump. Many of those voters are now fully in the Trump camp and they support Republican candidates cross the board. This development is truly exciting.

So, when we Trump supporters heard about Obama coming to Anaheim, we knew that we wanted to counter-protest.

Crystal Jade helped set up our network of activists, and we showed up Saturday morning right outside the convention center.

Check out our first set of protests:

We had some new people join us, too, men and women who haven't had the chance to protest with us in the past.

Some of the passers-by yelled at us, but some of them were quite supportive, including residents living across or down the street from us.

One of Omar Navarro's campaign staffers joined us, too:

One source told us that President Obama was going to drive down Transit Plaza to enter the convention.

I didn't wait, but went to join with another one of our fellow Trump supporters, who was closer to the entrance:

Robert Lauten speaking with a local reporter

Robert Lauten joined with another Trump supporter to blare out that all of the Russia-Collusion nonsense was going nowhere fast. I can't wait for President Trump to declassify all the FISA warrants and other redacted reports exposing the abusive, corrupt, treacherous Deep State.

For me, seeing the line of Democrats and pro-Obama people was what this was all about.

I love questioning and confronting these liberals on their fanatical appreciation of Barack Obama. Di they forget so quickly that Obama and the Clintons robbed Bernie Sanders?

Check out the first set of people whom I confronted:

Most of the liberals were pretty shallow in their attacks against me. The most disrespectful people in line were the elderly women. They would routinely flip me off. Is that how they behave in front of their grandchildren? Let's hope they don't have any!

One of the people in line said that Trump was a traitor. Why? He couldn't tell me.

I saw so many people promoting Gil Cisneros for Congress. This guy has serious #MeToo issues, and former campaign volunteers have called him out on his sexual harassment. I also saw David Min, the rude Asian-American Democrat who ran against Mimi Walters in the primary, and he had also shown up to a few of our protests outside of Mimi Walters' office earlier this year.

He didn't have much to say when I mocked him for losing big time in the primary. "That's what you get for not talking to your prospective constituents."

Claudio, the staffer who works in Congressman Lou Correa's office in Santa Ana, was also there. He was really scared when he saw us Trump supporters. He walked away as fast as he could, then buried himself in the line into the Convention Center room.

Then some of the Brown Supremacists showed up! They went to counter-protest our counter-protest! FUNNY!

They made little difference.

It's so strange how the left wants to smear Trump supporters as a bunch of racist white supremacists.

Our group of Trump supporters showed far more diversity than the Democrats lining up to see Obama. Many of us were more than happy to speak with the press and with other people lining up or waiting to get inside.

One lady, born in France but living in the United States, argued with me about health care, and she said that we should have a health care system more like France. There are two aspects to the French system which should be adopted: the medical professionals often bring the emergency room to the patient, in the hopes that they can resolve the issue fully at the person's home. That's a wise move which saves resources in a hospital for those who really need it. The French health care system is also tort averse, in that people cannot just run to court and sue every time something goes wrong health wise.

The reason why Kaiser Permanente provides quality health care at a price which many people can afford is that they resolve health issues and lawsuits through alternate dispute mediation. They have also stayed out of the Obamacare insurance markets, which jacked up the prices while taking away choices.

The lady from France was more respectful than most of the people in line. I saw some of my more friendly political opponents there, including Tom the Vietnamese American, who was born and raised in Whittier, CA.

Another lady called me a racist because I was confronted the Brown Supremacist bigot Robert "Naui" Hernandez. About ten minutes later, she came back to me to ask a serious question. I told it was not OK for her to call me "racist", and she acknowledged that was wrong. Then we had a very civil, productive discussion about health care issues. She told me about her father, who had passed away from cancer. I told her about my Dad who has been able to stave off serious cancer issues, too.

Reporters showed up after the smattering of Democrats entered the convention center.

We talked with them for a while, too:

Final Reflection

I sent this message to a friend of mine after our Trump counter-protest to the Obama rally:

It went so well! I have never had so much fun in in so many months. All of these silly liberals were lined up to go into this very little room. The Anaheim Convention Center had originally set aside Ballroom E for Obama, but the numbers that came were much smaller than anticipated! Ultimately about 700 people attended his little rally in a little room.

Major fail! I don't think people realize, but a lot of people don't like Barack Obama and the Democratic Party anymore. They see him as way too corporate. I had so much fun on the outside triggering and trolling some of the Liberals, many of whom could not explain why they hate Donald Trump. There were other people however, whom I had very civil discussions with. I enjoyed talking with them. All the emails, photos, and videos are going to be uploaded in the next 24 hours. I am so tired right now. I have to rest, but thanks for reaching out.

We assembled a pretty decent team of Trump supporters despite getting information about the details of this event at the last minute.

We had a lot of fun.

I am glad that members of We the People Rising along with LA County and OC for Trump showed up, too:

I liked that we had a diverse group of people show up, and were willing to do on an early Saturday morning, to boot. One of the reasons why I had come to this event was to see how many people would actually turn out to see former President Barack Obama.

How staggering it was that so few showed up to see this has-been. His legacy has all but disappeared after less than two years. The hope and change which Obama promised, Trump has delivered for the American people. The voters in this country rejected the regressive leftists bigotry of the Democratic Party and their increasingly socialist leanings. If the Democrats don't learn from history and pay attention to the fact that their numbers are dwindling across the country, they will probably face in deeper losses going into November.

I sincerely doubt that Democrats are going to pick up the requisite number of seats needed to gain the House Majority next year. The fact is that they are not properly targeting the right seats. The radical progressive base is turning off mainstream voters, many of whom now have new work and better pay. The more wealthy the average American becomes, the less likely they are to support tax hikes, regulatory burdens, and rampant assaults against their individual liberties.

Latino for Trump Exposes Democratic Urban Ghettos, Theft of Taxpayer Dollars

Fernando Garcia is a legal resident in Los Angeles County.

He has legal status, but at this time he does not vote.

But despite all of that, he supports President Trump!

He has an on-the-ground knowledge of the crime and corruption devouring entire cities, killing the American Dream for Americans and legal residents from all countries.

Check out this video above, where he showcases all the medical clinics, pharmacies, and dentistries available in these poor areas.

Yet they have no housing and no schools. Entire families have to stay in hotels and extended-stay locations because the cost of housing is outrageous.

Why are there so many hospitals? Why are so many members of the different Latino communities ending up in these clinics?

Fernando brings up an interesting point--why are so many Latinos getting sick? Why is there such a need for all this health care? In Mexico, many nationals do not get sick. Fernando himself relates that he has only been to the doctor twice in his life.

This is subsidized dependence. That's what is happening. Get people dependent on government, get them to believe that they have to have socialized medicine to survive, and then they will continue to vote for expansion of government into every sector of our lives. In other words, they will continue voting for Democratic candidates.

This is government largesse with much waste. These are not healthy communities, as much as we are seeing how government intervention into healthcare demands does not ensure quality care in these areas.

Men and women of California, taxpaying citizens, you need to see what is happening here!

SCF: Trump Stops Obamacare Bailouts to Insurance Companies

Senate Conservatives Fund
President Donald Trump

Arthur:

Last week, President Donald Trump took a major step forward in rejecting the swamp in Washington, DC by ending President Obama's unlawful subsidies for health insurance companies.

These corporate bailouts were never authorized by Congress and were specifically designed to benefit the same insurance companies that lobbied for the passage of Obamacare.

It's no surprise that since Obamacare was passed the profits of the top ten insurance companies nearly doubled!!

As you may know, Senate Conservatives Action called for this change and organized a massive grassroots letter-writing campaign urging President Trump to end these bailouts.

You spoke out and he listened.

Please send President Trump a short note to thank him for having the courage to end these unlawful bailouts.

Now the Democrats are screaming "sabotage" in an effort to blame the president for the failures of Obamacare. It's nonsense. This is the law they passed and it has been failing for years.

Likewise, establishment Republicans are complaining that the president's decision will make them "own" the law's political consequences. But what they're really worried about is that Republican primary voters will hold them accountable for breaking their promise to repeal the law.

Again, please thank President Trump for taking this action.

The president did the right thing in stopping these bailouts and it's important for the grassroots to continue to fight for Obamacare repeal. We must also continue to argue against subsidies for health insurance companies so they aren't part of any future health care legislation.

Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to stand up to the swamp in Washington, DC.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

Trump Supporters Storm Lyin' Ted Lieu Town Hall in Valencia, CA

Shame on Lyin' Ted Lieu!

He has spent more time networking and running against other Congressmen in other districts. This is a joke. What about the needs of our veterans, our homeless? What about small business owners and the American youth in our failing schools throughout the Los Angeles area?

He is my Congressman, but what is he doing in Valencia? He insisted on hosting a town hall in another district! Shame on him!

Friends of mine came with me to protest Lyin' Ted Lieu, who promotes illiberal agendas, all of which are bankrupting states and families, all while undermining the public safety of American citizens.

He actually voted against Kate's Law!

So, we showed up to let him have it!

I was especially outraged, since he is consistently not paying attention to the real needs of his own district!

Here's the whole video of the event:

The leftists and liberals in the meeting were mostly organizers. What kind of a town hall would this be, anyway?

When I sat down, this black lady right next to me called me "white trash."

I let her have it. I refuse to be bullied or pushed around by these racist leftists!

She wasn't used to someone--especially a Trump supporter--throwing back at their hate with truth.

So, I asked around to other people in the event. Why isn't my Congressman taking care of business in my district?

Another man in the row ahead of us

After all, Lieu doesn't represent Santa Clarita or Valencia.

This whole meeting turned out to be another propaganda sham.

Another lady in front of us lectured us about civility--this coming from the rabid leftists who harass Congressman Steve Knight and other Republicans in their own town halls?!

Really--and I going to let them lecture us on civility, when they are routinely undermining our rights and trying to expand the destruction of the United States Constitution?

I don't think so!

At least at this event they opened up with the Pledge of Allegiance.

That was good.

An army officer spoke, then a leader for Planned Murderhood addressed the crowd. We began loudly booing her. What kind of event opens up the meeting promoting and singing the praises of an abortion mill, especially a murderous group which targeted black babies?!

We let Lyin' Ted have it on everything.

He was lying about Obamacare.

He continued lying about President Trump. He was lying about the economy, and he was lying to the audience when he claimed to care about cutting taxes and spending, especially when he had tried to triple the car tax in 2013!

Finally, Ted called on me--after all, he is my Congressman!--and I let him have it for ignoring my district while going around attacking other Congressmen in their districts.

Raul Rodriguez demanded that Lieu respect our President.

Let me tell you--the liberal loonies in the audience lost it! They can't deal with hard-core Trump supporters who won't sit back and let these leftist politicians lie about our President and his American agenda.

Some of the crazy liberals reared up behind us and threatened to throw us out on their own! The organizers sat next to us and tried to baby-sit or silence us as the case was needed. But we refused to be silenced. We would not allow Lyin' Ted to dishonor our President and repeat the hollow lies about his efforts, including the recent executive orders to get rid of the artificial barriers to purchasing health insurance plans in other states. Trump also cut out the health insurance subsidies, which should have never been implemented in the first place.

The audience was pretty much full of organizers and activists, nothing more. I was shocked that some of these "adults" would bring their own children to these events? Planned Parenthood? Really! They are baby killers, and they have staffers behind the scenes who teach staffers to conduct abortions on minors and allow them to continue in the sex trafficking trade afterwards.

It is just plain unconscionable!

The sheriff's deputies did a fairly able job of keeping the peace, but one of the liberal audience members lied about one of our members to get him arrested. The whole thing went nowhere fast, though, since we refused to be bulled in any way.

All in all, it was a huge success for us! We took down Ted Lieu like a boss!

Lyin' Ted!
