Do-Nothing Assemblyman Confronted at Torrance "No Kings" Protest

The residents of the South Bay are getting what they voted for.

They wanted open borders? They got open borders.

They wanted pro-criminal policies. They got lawmakers who put the lawless ahead of the law-abiding.

Instead of actually solving problems in the state, these lawless assemblymen take time to attend anti-Trump protests.

They just keep shouting about how much they hate Donald Trump, they show up to the vile protests filled with profanity-laden signs, and then they network and rub elbows with all the left-wing activists, so that they can say: "Look at me! I am doing something!"

Here's Al Muratsuchi in front of Torrance City Hall.

He had plenty of time to attend the No Kings Protest.

He also had plenty of time to campaign for Kamala Harris last year:

And what about the residents of Palos Verdes? I asked him about that, and he didn't want to talk about that. I did share with him that I am glad he campaigned for Kamala Harris, since that helped flip the state for Trump in 2024.

I hope he campaigns for Bernie Sanders and AOC in 2028!

Women's March Stumbles Further: Eureka, CA Chapter Closes Down

The Women's March is crashing and burning all over the country.

The Washington State Chapter disbanded because members of that group refused to go along with any organization which refused to call out and disavow Louis Farrakhan, Linda Sarsour, and their perverse anti-Semitism.

Then the Chicago Women's March collapsed since no one wanted to get involved with this bigoted group. The infighting was too great to overcome, too.

And now in California, Women's March Eureka is gone.

But for entirely different reasons:

Women's March So White? So that's the reason.

OK ...

EUREKA, Calif. — The organizers of the annual Women's March have decided not to hold a rally in Eureka on Jan. 19, as previously planned, because they say participants do not represent the diversity of the area.

I disagree. The diverse groups in the area doesn't want to be represented by a bunch of self-righteous, self-loathing, marijuana-addled white liberals who virtue-signal their support for minorities while disparaging them behind closed doors.

"This decision was made after many conversations between local social-change organizers and supporters of the march," organizers said in a press release.

I doubt much of this. I would not be surprised of lots of people in the area did not want to be associated with a bunch of anti-Semitic, pro-Sharia bigots, just like the volunteers in Washington State and Chicago.

They said organizers will continue to meet and discuss how to broaden representation to create an event that represents Humboldt County.

How about not taxing people to death? How about really listening to the concerns of women, and not just left-wing activists?

"Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community," the press release went on to say. "Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach. Our goal is that planning will continue and we will be successful in creating an event that will build power and community engagement through connection between women that seek to improve the lives of all in our community."

This is a bunch of flimsy mumbo-jumbo for "no one wants to be associated with us anymore."

The group said it is exploring holding an event in March to celebrate International Women’s Day. Anyone interested in helping organize these events are welcome and encouraged to attend.

How about also celebrating Men's Day? Why is this a problem for so many people?!

The Eureka Women's March organizing committee encourages local supporters to attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Eureka on Jan. 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Final Reflection

This is a stunning reversal. For decades, conservatives have signalled the need to win the culture, not just the political campaigns. The decline of the Women's March suggests that this shift in the culture is becoming a reality.

While the legacy media ignored the anti-Semitism and pro-Sharia sentiments of Sarsour and the rest, the country as a whole picked up on it, and they want no part of it.

How much longer will this Women's March fraud continue? I doubt it will last very long.

Bernie Newscaster Loses It, Ends Interview with Trump Supporter

Lauren Steiner lost it with me last year, when I was celebrating President Trump's decision to bomb an airfield in Syria.

She insisted on pushing a left-wing narrative, and I countered with a lot of my own information. We did find some points of agreement, but by and large she fell apart and then ran away.

When I meet her at other events, she refuses to record me.

Oh well.

At least you can enjoy this wonderful exchange for yourselves.

And if you want, I can make espresso!

Triggered: Failing RLn Editor James Preston Allen Calls Me Out

James Preston Allen, the editor for Random Lengths News, is facing the freefall of the progressive agenda he had long championed, and which found some success under the Obama Administration. President Trump is the true populist population, putting the needs of Americans, particularly American workers first.

He has pulled the United States out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. He wants to renegotiate NAFTA, if not end it outright (I hope he chooses the latter). He has decimated the corrupt liberal media, which has spent more time promoting globalism interests instead of honoring the needs of American citizens.

I have trolled Preston Allen a number of times, and even defended President Bush 43's decision to invade Iraq. Another reader, Ed Kaufman of Wilmington, supported me in a follow-up letter published in the subsequent edition of RLn.

I believe that alternative media (left-wing) rags are going the way of the dinosaur, and RLn will be next.

Still, in spite of the fraught environment for left-wing propaganda mills, one would think that they would could see the victories which Trump has achieved, which are actually helping working Americans.

Instead, he continues to attack conservatives like me and claim that corporate interests are still taking over the country and screwing over everyone else for the pleasure of the 1%. Sadly, these leftists still do not understand that these tightly-connected Big Business bullies had their best days under Barack Obama and the elitist, bought-out Democratic Party and their attending progressive acolytes.

Check out Allen's latest editorial, and how he calls me out by name:

By James Preston Allen, Publisher

I would bet that the vast majority of the readers of this paper, if not the people in the communities we serve, are shaking their heads wondering, “How in the hell did Congress pass such a convoluted tax bill?”

Easy: they responded to the concerns of working people and wealth creators who wanted to hold onto more of their money and help more Americans make money. What's not to like?

Or perhaps even, “How did Roy Moore nearly get elected in the recent Alabama senate race?”

George Soros and Company dumped millions of dollars into a race in which Republicans too readily believed that victory would be easily obtained. The corrupt Jeff Bezos media empire smeared a godly man based on scant gossip, followed by litigation whore Gloria Allred using a propped up, fraudulent fake victim who had pretended to be a victim of Moore's unwanted advances.

By the way, Nelson profferred a forged yearbook to claim a romantic connection which never existed. I want to know when Moore and the Alabama Republican Party will start filing lawsuits and seeking criminal charges against this coven of liars and cowards.

The Alabama senate race as well as some of the state legislature and gubernatorial races across the country show how deeply partisan America is just now, entrenched in an ideological battle over cultural values, civil rights, property rights, sexual harassment, the Mueller Russia investigation and yes, President Donald Trump himself.

Partisan? A left-wing Democrat just won a seat in deep-red Alabama. He will end up being one of the most bipartisan members of the United States Senate. Just you watch and wait

I am also pretty sure that most of my readers here, with the exception of Arthur Schaper, don’t regularly listen to Fox News, or read Breitbart or any number of conservative blogs, newsletters and websites. I’m right there with you. But these days, however, my inbox keeps filling up with stuff I routinely would dump in the trash, but I got curious lately.

There! He calls me out for reading Breitbart News and Fox News. What's wrong with that? These news sites have done a credible and creditable job reporting news in diverse spheres of influence and attraction. The left-wing mainstream media has been caught up in Trump Derangement Syndrome, one day after another.

When does their insanity stop? How much longer does these corporate media frauds think that average Americans are going to keep tolerating all this anti-Trump animus without suspecting an unjustly, partisan agenda against the President?

When liberals are losing the argument, they attack the person or the source making the argument. Typical Saul Alinsky sloppiness. Don't be surprised if Allen starts calling more of his opponents "Nazis" or Hitler.

So I started opening up a few of these emailed newsletters — like Conservative HQ, the Conservative Caucus and a gun  rights group — to see what they’re up to. My interest was piqued by the news reports on the growing number of conservative’ attacks on the Robert Mueller investigation into the Trump Campaign’s connection to Russian meddling in the 2016 general election. It just seems awfully suspicious that after successfully getting a string of indictments this past October  that Mueller’s FBI team would be accused of extreme partisan bias. One might think the Trump’s defenders protest too much.

The reason Mueller is facing charges of bias is that members of the FBI have been outed as partisan hacks getting or giving big donations to Hillary Clinton supporters. It's beyond crystal clear that Obama filled the Deparment of Justice and other federal law enforcement agencies with liberal activists more intention on social justice fighting that actual justice for all Americans.

Final Reflection

James Preston Allen can't help but mention me every chance he gets. I must live in his head rent free. Fun stuff. This is how conservatives, libertarians, and the pro-MAGA right in this country must rear up and fight back against all the left-wing bullying, smear tactics, and outright anti-Truth hatred which permeates the Left.

Let's keep fighting the good fight, and one day everyday readers even in San Pedro will get tired of the left-wing pablum spewing out from marginal rags like Random Lengths "News".

Judge Moore: Obama-Clinton Machine Have Declared Me Enemy #1

Arthur,

There are just over 8 weeks until the December 12 Special Election.

And as I told you recently, the Obama-Clinton Machine recently declared me "Enemy #1."

They're hoping to defeat me and use it as a national launching pad for their all-out war against Donald Trump and conservatives in 2018.

Arthur, that makes the December 12 Special Election about much more than just who will fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions' Senate seat.

The outcome of this election will not only set the tone for the 2018 mid-terms -- but it could determine whether or not conservatives pick up enough seats to kick out the establishment and get to work Draining the Swamp.

Furthermore, a victory on December 12 will embolden conservatives across the country to take a stand and run for office in 2018.

That's why I'm counting on the help and support of grassroots conservatives like you to step up and chip in a donation to help me fight back and win on December 12.

So Arthur, will you chip in a donation of $500, $250, $150, $100, $75, $50, $35 or $25 immediately to let me know you've got my back in this critical fight against the Obama-Clinton Machine?
Of course, if $500, $250, $150, $100, $75, $50, $35 or $25 is too much for you at this time, please consider chipping in $5, $10 or $15 to help me get my message out to as many voters as possible before December 12.

Your generous contribution will help my campaign pay for mailings, advertisements, yard signs, flyers and other costs associated with contacting voters across the great state of Alabama and fighting back against the liberal smears and attacks.

Arthur, the Democrats launched their first quarter million dollar ad campaign last week -- with MILLIONS more to follow.

They know their only hope is to bury me in an avalanche of nasty attacks in order to hide my opponent's radical, left-wing views from Alabama voters.

But if I can raise the resources to cut through the attacks and get the truth out to voters, I'm confident you and I can DEFEAT the Obama-Clinton Machine on December 12.

Arthur, you and I have defeated the odds before.

And I'm confident with your continued support, you and I can finish the job on December 12 and Drain the Swamp in Washington.

So won't you please chip in a donation to let me know you've got my back in this critical battle?

Thank you in advance for standing with me.

I appreciate your support.

Sincerely,
Judge Roy Moore

Berniecrats Gone Wild: "They Rolled Back Dodd-Frank!

The Bernie phalanx is going nuts.

Dodd-Frank faces comprehensive repeal. How much more fun can it get?

And to see the leftists are losing their mind.

Let's hope they see the light. More Millennials are getting confronted on the many issues which they have fallen for.

Our Revolution

Arthur Christopher,

While most of the country wasn't looking, House Republicans voted to claw back virtually every banking regulation implemented after Wall Street crashed and the Great Recession began. With so much scrutiny on the White House, Senate Republicans are now poised to roll back Dodd-Frank and the Affordable Care Act in the same month. Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and every other politician bought by Wall Street and corporate donors thinks that they can get away with this while we're distracted by the daily circus in the West Wing.

We haven't forgotten what Wall Street deregulation got us last time. A reeling housing crisis, millions of people's life savings wiped out, and 800,000 jobs lost every month by the time George W. Bush left office. We remember Occupy, and the reprieve that the most egregious offenders got from going to prison. Executives at the largest financial firms who gambled people's hard-earned life savings away were treated less harshly than the people actually paying their mortgage.

We need to break the big banks up and implement a modern day version of Glass-Steagall, but we have to stop Republicans from rolling back even more Wall Street regulations first. Will you join our fight to protect Main Street from Wall Street greed? Sign our petition to tell Congress: Stop the Wall Street assault on working families.

The Financial CHOICE Act wipes out the Dodd-Frank law signed in 2010, putting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Donald Trump's control. That's right, the department charged with protecting consumers will be under the control of a person who has spent his entire life ripping people off. The biggest banks that were considered “too big to fail” at the time of the Recession are even bigger now, and virtually all new income is going to the top one percent. Giving Wall Street another break isn't solving the crisis of income and wealth inequality.

Bwaney Fwank, Shill for Big Business

While Paul Ryan and the House were stripping essential banking protections, voters in the United Kingdom rejected the Conservative government and their cabal of bankers and billionaires, and embraced Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party's reinvigorated progressive movement. People across the world are ready for a movement that takes on the greed of the few, and works on behalf of the many.

Glass-Steagall is part of the solution, but it doesn't solve the entire problem. We've still got so much work left ahead, like overturning Citizens United to get Wall Street and special interest money out of politics. Nobody could have prepared for the daily assaults on our health care, housing, environment, and civil rights since Trump took office, but organizing as many people as we can is the only shot we have at fighting back against the greed he serves. Stand with us as we take on Wall Street and the special interests that Congress represents. Sign our petition to let Congress know we won't let Wall Street take us back into another recession.

We will see economic justice be done in this country, with an economy that works for all. Thank you for joining us.
In solidarity,
Shannon Jackson

Dianne Feinstein's "Accomplishments"

At the Dianne Feinstein Town Hall in West Adams last week, her staff provided a whole lot of paperwork showing her accomplishments in the United States Senate.

Whenever she gets a chance, she talks about the assault weapons ban she ushered through Congress in 1994. Of course, that legislation lapsed in 2004. The deadline was needed, since it was the only way she could get otherwise pro-Second Amendment US Senators on board to vote for the measure.

This Brady Bill did nothing to prevent massive death and destructive from firearms. The best defense against a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The NRA has stood their ground on this fact year after year. They do not cave on principle, and as a result they get what they want.

Now in 2017, does Senator Feinstein have anything worth standing on? Has she accomplished anything notable which has expanded the rights and freedoms of United States citizens while limiting or properly directing the role of the government?

Here is all the paperwork she had to share with the public:

The first item, with a nice pink cover, features the Breast Cancer Research stamp:

Yes, that's all very nice, but how does that help the lives of ordinary Americans?

It's a nice feel-good featurette, but not much else.

She has also pushed through legislation turning California land into national preserves, which basically means that the federal government takes the property away from the rest of us:

Here is another land grab which Feinstein pushed through:

Our land would be better managed and protected by local and state ordinance. This is petty micromanaging, and does not require much effort from a US Senator to get passed.

This does not show a high level of achievement.

Anything else from Dianne Feinstein?

Here are her extended remarks against Donald Trump's nominees to different cabinet positions, as well as her opposition to Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.

Has she actually done anything to ensure the full exercise of our natural rights? Of course not, and her record of withstanding the appointment of federal judges is worse than legendary. She profoundly rejected Miguel Estrada for a circuit nomination, a sad day in judiciary politics in Washington.

Her supporters and her Berniac detractors criticized her for not fighting enough. What more can the Democratic minority in Washington do since they do not have the votes or the following of the American voters throughout the country?

She also believed that the FBI should continue investigating Russian meddling in last year's presidential  election. She has to take these strange detours because she has to throw some blue meet to the progressive base in California.

If she doesn't give them something, they will devour her next!

Here's one more accomplishment" advertised by the Feinstein team:

Food standards. Really.

And of course, the whole climate change nonsense:

With all the talk about fuel standards, she will be sad to learn that EPA Director Scott Pruitt is going to be phasing out this corrupt obsessions with Big Green ideologies altogether. Let market forces roll and stop with the environmental fanaticism eating away out our national charter and our natural rights as American citizens.

That's the way to go.

Final Reflection

US Senator Dianne Feinstein has very little to trot out to demonstrate accomplishments in Washington DC.

Why would she? It's not as though she really had to work for the constituents of California, anyway. She defeated an incumbent, appointed Republican in 1992, then cruised to re-election in subsequent elections since then. She has never worried about a challenge from her Left, and the opposition on the right has been negligible at best.

A challenge from her left could become a real possibility in 2018, though, and judging by the ferocious temperament of progressive left--which has all but taken over the already uber-liberal California Democratic Party, Feinstein is worried about her chances.

If she wants to run on a record of accomplishment, however, she is already behind.

LA Weekly's Trump Derangement Syndrome

As a Los Angeles County conservative, I think that Trump's election and first two weeks of his Presidency has been the greatest thing to happen to California and the country in 36 years.

Finally, we have a strong leader who is not ashamed to be an American. He wants to fight for our citizens. He wants to Make America Great Again. He's run huge businesses, sometimes into the ground, but he's also bounced back and risen up to higher heights, much like the skyscrapers in Manhattan, New York.

He has more than impressed me, and he has assuaged every fear and concern so far about his commitment to this country, our Constitution, and his solemn promises to put Americans first and uphold the rule of law.

He is already enacting policies and making decisions that are great for business. He has also taken clear aim at Obamacare. He has assembled a vast network of incredible executive nominees. In welcome and yet unprecedented fashion, he has pushed aside a corrupt and frustrating liberal media cult--and has pulverized them for their stultifying bias.

Of course, blue states for the most part got bluer in 2016, signaled their determination to double-down on their regressive left-wing stupidity. Yet even deep blue Los Angeles County, where I had a Republican representing me for the first time in over 22 years, Republicans and conservatives in general have much to be happy about.

For that reason alone, LA Weekly's Hillel Aron announced that certain doom will befall the City of Angels following Trump's ascension to DC Paradise.

Aron issued his dour reflections about President Trump in the December 22. 2016 edition of the county alternative rag, which has for the last five years provided excellent reporting and commentary on the corrupt and unaccountable education scene in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

First, he deemed that Trump is the worst thing that could happen to Los Angeles:

1. Trump.

There is simply no positive way to spin this: Donald Trump is an unmitigated disaster for Los Angeles.

I thought that the crumbling streets, the declining morale, the dispersed law and order which makes any great, let alone livable, had turned the Angelic Spanish settlement into an absolute hell hole.

What about the rampant illegal immigration, gang-banging, poverty, homeless, overpriced gentrification, government corruption, and general economic malaise spelled out that the disaster which has engulfed Los Angeles.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is Easy to spot (Credit: E. Branco)

The coming Trump presidency has struck immigrants across the city with fear and uncertainty. And in addition to his call for mass deportations, Trump has threatened to starve all so-called "sanctuary cities" — places that refuse to assist the federal government in its deportation efforts — of federal funding. If Trump were to follow through on that threat, Los Angeles stands to lose billions of dollars.

The same media spin and lies roll out once again. If the immigrants in our midst are in this country legally, then what do they have to fear? If the "immigrants" in the country are not here legally, if they refused to follow the legal pathway to citizenship which is available to all, then they have only themselves to blame.

Of course, like the spoiled wannabe Millennials they want to be (forever young, forever stupid), the LA media coffee-klatch will blame Trump for all of California and Los Angeles' ills.

Speaking of losing buckets of money (not to mention killing your buzz), Trump also could make the legalization of recreational marijuana more difficult by continuing to criminalize it on the federal level. His pick for U.S. Attorney General, Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, bodes poorly for legal weed. ("If Mr. Sessions were to be confirmed, many supporters of legalization worry that his past remarks about marijuana could portend a crackdown," according to The New York Times .)

First, LA Weekly quotes #FakeNews New York Times, which jumps to the raging conclusion that Senator Sessions is going to crack down on sovereign states which have decriminalized marijuana. Washington State and Colorado better be on the look-out, right? After all, AG Sessions won't have anything else really serious to focus on, like illegal immigration, domestic terrorize, rampaging fraud and corruption in state and local governments. Yeah, G Sessions is going for your weed first thing tomorrow morning.

HA!

Sessions is very likely to going to let the MJ choom-train run at low-profile speeds. Smoke it, but don't blow the smoke in Washington's face. Of course, with the Democratic supermajority bracing for one fight after another with Trump to show their true left-wing credentials, expect Los Angeles and San Francisco to do everything they can to invite all-out war with President Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Secretary of State Rex Tillerston, and Secretary of Everything Else ...

Not only is Trump one of the worst things to happen to L.A. in 2016, he also imperils one of the best things to happen to the city this year (recreational weed) and one of the best things about the city, period (its spirit of inclusion).

Aron thinks that smoking dope is the most "dope" thing to hit Los Angeles? Really?!

No wonder this city is going down the drain. The hard-hitting journalist who follows the epic fails of LAUSD thinks that MJ is the best thing in LA, and fears the President in DC.

This is what Trump Derangement Syndrome looks like--in print, in one of the largest cities in the country, in one of the bluest states in the Union.

For the Trump supporter in the Belly of the LA Beast, all I can say is: "How sweet it is!"

Anti-Trump Protesters Block Travels from Boarding Flights

I have so much more to report about what happened on January 29, when the thousands of Trump Derangement Social Justice Warriors overwhelmed LAX.

Did anyone think about how those protests would affect the adults traveling through the airport that evening?

Of course not!

From the Los Angeles Times:

Thousands protest at LAX against Trump travel ban

Demonstrators shut down traffic in front of the Tom Bradley International Terminal and faced off with police in riot gear, chanting, “Let them in!” and “Love, not hate, makes America great.” After protesters marched around the airport, disrupting traffic, police confined the crowd to the area in front of the Bradley terminal.

Who exactly do they intend the airport to let anyone in if they are blocking traffic and prevent employees and passangers from getting by from Point A to Point B?

Then dozens of protesters sat down, blocking the airport's busy thoroughfare — World Way — and refused to leave until all detainees are released. Two lines of airport police officers with helmets and batons stood nearby.

There it is, people, right from the pen and keyboards of the Los Angeles Times: "Blocking the airports busy thoroughfare ..."

Los Angeles Airport Police Chief David Maggard said there have been no arrests during Sunday's protests and that police had no plans to order the crowd  to disperse. He said traffic was rerouted to the airport's departure level, one story above street level.

Whatever happened to mass arrests? Whatever happened to issuing citations? Anything else? Lawlessness has engulfed Los Angeles. Unbelievable. No wonder the state of California is in such dire straits as we speak.

But a short time later hundreds of protesters marched to the elevated roadway that circles the airport and proceeded to block traffic. Dozens of demonstrators sat in a crosswalk chanting "let them go" in a bath of headlights.

Motorist Rebekah Bergeron, 22, was sitting at the head of a line of cars blocked by the protesters. Though she said she didn't object to their demonstration, she also wanted to get home to Arizona.

Wow! What happens when your intended goals work out, and you end up missing your responsibilities in daily life! Funny!

"I have no problem if they want to protest this, but I just missed my flight," she said. "I just watched it take off."

OUCH! There is a price to left-wing lunacy, isn't there? I believe that Mrs. Bergeron was polite, but likely she was screaming epithets in her head.

Protesters have completely blocked the inner roadway on the lower level of the Bradley terminal, and smaller crowds have also popped up on the opposite side of the street as well as the adjacent parking structure and the roadway connecting the deck to the departure level.

Final Reflection

Block!

Blocking!

Blocked!

All I can say is ... the lunacy of the California Left will ensure that President Trump stays in office and continues to Make America Again.

This juvenile behavior has become preeminentaly destructive

More Reasons for a Happy New Year: Big Labor Thugs Cutting Back

Two weeks ago, I wrote about the imminent bankruptcy of the Service Employees International Union ... in Texas.

I wish the California branch was going bust, too, but that did not happen.

Or is the head of the serpent about to go bust, too?

CBS/Bloomberg news reported the following drastic finanical blow hitting the Purple Taxpayer Eating Machine:

The Service Employees International Union, perhaps the single most politically powerful labor union in the country, is drastically cutting its budget in the wake of president-elect Donald Trump’s election victory.

Great news! To see the demise of public sector unions, that was my biggest reason for supporting Scot Walker for President first.

If Donald Trump can deliver the same results, and right away, I will be more than happy with is Presidency. There is no other interest group that I know of which enables illegal immigration and the amnesty agenda more than labor unions.

Stop Big Labor, build the big, beautiful wall, and watch We the People take back our government.

Mary Kay Henry

According to an internal memo obtained by Bloomberg Businessweek, SEIU president Mary Kay Henry said the union must “plan for a 30% reduction” in its budget by the start of 2018. That number includes a 10 percent budget cut by the start of 2017.

Ouch! The labor unions are running out of money--our money!

It's about time, that's what I say!

The massive SEIU currently has an annual budget of $300 million. It is America’s second largest union, and represents nearly 2 million workers in the public and private sector.

At least the larger media conglomerates are reporting something about the blowblack from We the People against the wasteful, profligate labor unions. Are they starting to realize that if they want to be treated seriously, they need to report the truth rather than cheer-lead for the Left?

According to Henry, the cuts are a direct result of Mr. Trump’s victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton in November’s election, along with the GOP’s continued control of Congress. With Mr. Trump and his Senate Republican allies poised to nominate dozens of judges, including a new Supreme Court justice, the SEIU fears its ability to collect dues from members will soon be significantly curtailed.

You bet it will!

No question about it. The biggest reason I was so crushed about the death of Justice Scalia, aside from the fact that  he was one of the wisest as well as most outspoken jurists on the Supreme Court, is that his death would delay a welcome ruling for Friedrichs v. California. The teacher from South Orange County was taking the lead on ending forced union dues against individual employees, arguing that such takings violated the First Amendment.

Point of fact, it does. A new Justice and a new opportunity to stop extortion against American workers.

The SEIU recently spearheaded the “Fight for $15” movement that organized workers behind a higher minimum wage. Numerous Democratic lawmakers endorsed the proposal for a $15 minimum wage, including Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Democratic presidential primary runner-up. The SEIU backed Clinton in the primary.

What they really endorsed was a policy to put more people out of work, to force businesses to close and/or force consumers to spend more money to buy the same products. I visited a new grocery store in South Gate, and there are now fewer employees because of the high labor costs. The whole store model runs on hiring fewer employees.

Among the biggest worries for the SEIU and other labor unions is the possibility that Republican judicial appointees will expand “Right to Work” laws nationwide, which would prohibit unions in both the public and private sector from demanding their members pay dues.

Even if the courts do not expand right to work, the states already are! Kentucky, Missouri, and New Hampshire are GOP trifectas, and right-to-work is at the top of their list.

“Right to Work” laws have already proven to be a serious blow to labor union’s ability to flex political muscle in states like Wisconsin and Michigan, two longtime Democratic bastions that voted for Mr. Trump last month.

That is exactly what I have been talking about! Exactly!

“Because the far right will control all three branches of the federal government, we will face serious threats to the ability of working people to join together in unions,” Henry, the SEIU president, wrote in the internal memo.

Isn't it great! Scott Walker deserves the bulk of the credit, since he invited the international hordes of Big Labor into his state, and beat them down three times in four years. His victories ensured that more states would enact labor reforms, to make consumers and taxpayers the leading force in their state and cities.

“These threats require us to make tough decisions that allow us to resist these attacks and to fight forward despite dramatically reduced resources.”

How about just shutting down entirely?

Final Reflection

Labor unions are learning that their free ride on other people's money is coming to a dramatic, necessary, and yet late end.

These reforms could have happened ten or twenty years ago. Perhaps Republicans starting paying attention as soon as Barack Obama was elected, and Congress was toying with passage of card-check, which would have removed federal oversight over labor elections, then shut down individual employee opposition to a collective bargaining unit.

Obama's arrogance and overreach ensured that Republicans would sweep state legislatures across the country. Then the Right-to-Work Movement pounced to enact necessary reforms. Wisconsin was the first major battleground. What an exciting time for conservatives it turned out to be.

Check out the Wisconsin State Senate maneuvering here:

Then the Wisconsin State Assembly here:

It's important to note how desperate the union-bought Democrats were, and how they through temper tantrums like little children who did not get their way.

This kind of rioting within the state legislature was a point of distinct concern for other states who wanted to avoid the harangue within and the protests without.

Anti-Israel Hate--OC Weakly's San Roman vs Rep. Roybal-Allard

The Democratic Party has turned into a shell of itself from eight years ago.

So much for the hope and change preached by soon-to-be Ex-President Barack Obama.

Very sad.

Democrats have been decimated across the country following Donald Trump's romp across 30 states.

Democrats now have trifecta control in fours states:

1. Hawaii
2. California
3. Connecticut
4. Rhode Island

These states are going bankrupt. They are roiled by welfarism and illegal immigration, along with Big Labor abuses, corruption, and cronyism.

It's no surprise why Americans are fleeing these states are moving to better economic and moral climates elsewhere!

And yet, regressive leftists like Gabe San Roman have still not learned the lesson about why they are losing--and losing big time--in the United States.

Consider his tweet which Romans retweeted:

San Roman unsaintily neglects to note that the Ku Klux Klan was the domestic terrorist wing of the Democratic Party, which had dubbed itself "The White Mans's Party" and rejected civil rights recognition for African-Americans.

Republicans have been and continue to be the party of civil rights.

Leftists like the OC Weakly horde have no problem attacking other Democrats if they are not radical (read, communistic) enough.

Check out these comments directed at the firs Latina elected to Congress, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard:

What's against justice is stealing property from one person to give to another who does not work. Any cursory glance at the OC Weakly propagandist's feed will show a disturbing penchant for blood dictators who kill their own people and misinformed academics pushing a political ideology which they do not understand.

I have been one of the most vocal of Roybal-Allard's critics, but she was write to condemn the officious, unjustified UN Resolution condemning Israeli settlements.

Roman probably wouldn't have the courage to confront Roybal-Allard directly in her office, as I had done in January of this year:

 Roman then retweeted the following:

And then

Seriously.

For the past week and a half, I have sought answers on the anti-Israel coming from the OC Weakly.

They can tweet attacks, but they cannot defend their amoral political views.

And now one of the most radical left-wing propagandists is attacking an uber-liberal Latina Congresswoman?

What gives?

The Regressive Left is falling apart across the country, and OC Weakly has added to the pile-on by attacking one of the most stalwart liberal Congressmen in California.

Lots of other Democrats have condemned Barack Obama for supporting the offense and false Resolution against Israel. Why did OC Weakly go after Roybal-Allard?

Why not give OC Weakly a call and find out:

Mark Leno, Don't Let The Door Hit You On the Way Out of Sacramento!

The Los Angeles Times fawns over its liberals, especially the ones who have done so much to hurt our state, its citizens, and students.

UGH!

I am not happy that Democrats have so much power in Sacramento.

What do we have to be proud from the petulant progressives in Sac-Town?

REALLY?!

There is a glimmer of good news.

Mark Leno, the openly homosexual regressive Democrat (in name only, because he's really a perverted statist) is leaving the state legislature for good!

The Los Angeles Times tried to play up his exit as a final homecoming, as if everyone in the state will miss him.

Believe me, I hope that the door does not (or should it?) hit him on the way out!

From the Los Angeles Times:

UGH!

Where do I vomit?!

Mark Leno flashes a broad smile when a conversation about his political legacy pivots to an earlier part of his life, when he was a restless young man who abruptly decided to walk away from rabbinical school without any plan for what would come next.

What is he so proud of?

He shoved the destructive, anti-biological homosexual agenda on everyone.

He forced through the forced wage hike which will drive businesses underground or out of business entirely.

He has been the sprearhead piercing this state's economy and culture.

“My friend gave me a T-shirt that year for Hanukkah that said, ‘Rebbe Without A Cause,’” Leno said with a laugh.

Rebbe? Don't rub me the wrong way.

To know him is to get the joke: This is a man full of causes, ones for which the Democrat has patiently and passionately advocated during a 14-year career in the California Legislature that’s now coming to a close.

The best cause will be his leaving the state of California.

God forbid this guy should replace Nancy Pelosi when she retires (or dies in office).

“If there's a theme throughout this, it’s that I fight for the underdog,” Leno said. “Whoever that underdog may be."

Underdog? Really? This man is a dog of a legislator, chewing away at what's left for everyone else.

The gay bullies are not underdogs. They are attacking everyone else.

They are no longer "the oppressed." They are the oppressors. They are attacking men and women's freedom of conscience.

They are going after private institutions.

Through the years, his causes have often led to substantive change, in part because of what friends and even foes agree is his unmatched perseverance. Leno, the author of 161 laws, rarely gives up.

In almost all of his celebrated achievements — this year’s deal to boost California’s minimum wage to $15 an hour, to require police search warrants to access electronic devices or Internet service providers, more probation services for felons — the fight took years. Some efforts, such as one of the nation’s first efforts at single-payer universal healthcare, may never come to fruition.

So, with that forced wage hike, where will all the released prisoners find new jobs?

Leno is undaunted.

“You just chip away, year after year after year,” he said. “You start getting some cracks in that wall, and then sometimes circumstances change.”

That's exactly what Republicans, that's exactly what conservatives are going to do.

We are going to chip away at the corruption, malfeasance, waste, and irresponsibility of the Democratic Party and their corrosive dominance in California.

Forced out of office by term limits, the state senator who championed an expansion of gay rights, reform of the prison sentencing system and new warnings on flame-retardant chemicals in furniture has no idea what comes next.

With no immediate political office waiting in the wings, Leno, 65, will return this fall to San Francisco and the neighborhood small business he started in 1978.

“I’ve never been kicked out of any place in my life,” he said with a quick laugh. “So this is a new phenomenon.”

Leno is in many ways a throwback to a different era. From his crisp shirts and suits to his devotion to decorum, he stands out in a political environment where the goal is often to dominate rather than legislate. Never one to hide his identity as a gay man and an unabashed liberal, he has won admirers in both parties.

In June, after he presented his final state spending plan as budget chairman, the entire Senate rose for a long and loud ovation. As many Republicans as Democrats praised him.

Leno’s penchant for civility has not faded even when fiercely advocating for a cause that inflames passions under the Capitol dome.

“He’s not afraid to have a fight,” said Democrat Darrell Steinberg, the former president pro tem of the state Senate. “But he has the rare ability to fight while also maintaining a grace about himself, and an intellect to go with it.”

He's going to face more fights very soon, and so will all the other

Perhaps his most consistent battle has been for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Californians. Leno, one of the first two openly gay men elected to the Legislature, wrote laws to expand bans on housing and employment discrimination as well as workplace benefits for transgender employees. And perhaps most visibly, he wrote the 2005 bill to legalize same-sex marriages, a bill former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed.

Give me a break!

LGBT "identity" is not a civil right.

Next.

“There is no legislator in the country who has done more to advance LGBT rights than Mark Leno,” said Geoff Kors, a friend and longtime gay rights advocate who is now a city councilman in Palm Springs.

It's time to scale back this intrusion of the government into our daily lives.

euality

Equal rights for all, special privileges for none.

“Mark’s not the person who plays public hardball politics,” Kors said. “He’s the person who talks one-on-one with everyone to make his case.”

That's such a lie.

That skill was probably well-honed as a child.

"I was a skinny little kid who could never have won a physical altercation if I had one,” he said. “You learn how to get along with people when you need to."

Leno was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to first-generation Americans, a family of Eastern European Jews who immigrated to the United States in 1915. He left Milwaukee after high school and headed for New York City and the chance to freely live his life as a gay man.

That conflicted with plans to become a rabbi. Leno couldn’t reconcile the chaste world of religious leadership with the liberated nightlife provided by Manhattan in the 1970s. He admits he had “no aspirations” once rabbinical school faded away. And after a series of odd jobs, including a brief stint as an office assistant to singer Art Garfunkel (they coincidentally met on an airplane), his youngest sister suggested he move west to San Francisco.

It was not an easy transition, but he made up for it with enthusiasm. A small loan led him to open a sign-printing store, and the business’ success gave him entry into volunteering in local politics.

John Whitehurst, his campaign manager for legislative races in 2002 and 2008, said the story of Leno’s arrival in San Francisco has uncanny parallels to that of the late Harvey Milk, another gay man who left New York to open a small business in San Francisco and then launched a historic career in politics.

Harvey Milk was a pedophile. Does anyone really want to be equated with that creep?!

Leno never got to meet Milk before the activist’s assassination in 1978. But he later occupied the same seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and wrote the 2009 law that created an annual Harvey Milk Day in the state. Photos of the slain leader adorn Leno’s office.

Bleaugh!

“What I attribute to Harvey was a burning desire to break a glass ceiling,” Leno said. “Who he was, and the symbol he has become, was a great motivator.”

So, Leno is claiming to be a woman now? HUH?!

He was elected to the Assembly in 2002 and arrived in Sacramento with hopes of leading a powerful legislative committee. His assignment, chair of the Assembly’s public safety committee, included killing crime and punishment bills that Democrats didn’t like. In 2006, he tried instead to reach across the aisle and collaborate on one of those bills.

It came close to costing him his political career.

Leno huddled with Republican lawmakers for weeks with the hope that he could stave off a statewide ballot measure cracking down on sex offenders, believing the Legislature could craft a better version.

But a dispute over punishment for child pornography left him in the uncomfortable position of trying to negotiate an acceptable number of explicit photos on a person’s computer hard drive — a discussion that began only by his worry that an unintentional download could unfairly send someone to prison.

With what he believed to be a bipartisan deal in hand, Leno brought the bill up for a vote. Democrats, trusting his lead, voted yes. Republicans surprised him by refusing to vote. It was a painful lesson.

“Sometimes, it’s not about solving a problem. It’s about making a point,” he said. “It turned out they only wanted to go to the ballot,” a measure that became Proposition 83, known as “Jessica’s Law.”

Oh, that's right--the Big Bad Republicans are all wheeling and dealing, backstabbing and handwringing ...

How about all the crap that the Democrats have been doing to schools, to parents, to teachers, to businesses, to workers, to everyone?

It then got worse. A press release from the California Republican Party castigated him for approving of “child porn,” and rivals in San Francisco whispered the same messages when he announced he would run against a fellow Democrat, then-state Sen. Carole Migden, in 2008.

Luckily for Leno, his political strengths were too much for Migden. And the Senate seat he won came with perhaps the biggest assignment of all, chairing the powerful budget committee. It put him face-to-face with Schwarzenegger, with whom Leno sparred on several issues.

Who forget the epic trolling when Schwarzenegger vetoed the port of San Francisco appropriations bill?

Even now, the affable Leno rarely passes on an opportunity to excoriate the record of the former governor. Leno often points out Schwarzenegger’s 2003 campaign to rescind the recession-sparked increase in the state’s vehicle license fee. It blew a multibillion-dollar hole in the state budget, and Leno said the ensuing fights with Schwarzenegger and Republicans over budget crises often left him “frustrated and angry and sad.”

But it rarely showed in public, as Leno said he always tries to “choose my words, and choose my actions, as careful as I can.”

Others saw it as an affirmation of character.

"You get what you give,” said Steinberg, “and he gets a lot of respect because he gives a lot of respect."

Through the years, Leno was able to give more of himself to his legislative career than might have others who balanced work with family. It was not by choice. His partner, Douglas Jackson, died of complications from HIV in 1990. Jackson was memorialized in the early years of the national AIDS memorial quilt. A replica of his quilt panel hangs as a poignant reminder in Leno’s San Francisco office.

There's another lesson here: don't mess with biology.

“People were dying everywhere, so I was not alone in my grief,” Leno said. In the years since, he said he has remained single. “I've had the opportunity to put my entire being into public service.”

Celibate is the only way of one chooses to identify as gay.

Whether that public service continues isn’t clear. Leno admits he doesn’t know what he wants to do next. There have been thoughts of a campaign for mayor of San Francisco, which wouldn’t be until 2019 at the earliest. Others think he would be ideal in Congress, should House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi decide in the near future to retire.

What did I say? Well, what did I say?

“He’s really a political dragon slayer,” Whitehurst said. “He would be hard to beat.”

Last month, Leno hinted in a San Francisco public radio interview that he might be willing to help lead a 2018 ballot measure campaign to force changes in police accountability laws that failed this summer at the state Capitol. "They cannot do their work without trust from the communities they serve,” he said.

Whatever path he chooses, observers believe Leno will always take the high road in an era where few others seem to follow.

“It’s not partisanship that’s the enemy, it’s temperament,” Steinberg said. Leno “is an example of how you can have fierce disagreements but can combine that with collegial, collaborative politics.”

“No matter who replaces him,” Kors said, “Mark’s departure from the Legislature is going to leave a tremendous gap.”

No it won't.

Final Reflection

I do not care how nice someone may appear in public.

If they craft bad legislation which harms our rights, they are doing evil deeds.

Mark Leno was full of them.

And full of it.

I am glad that he is gone.

I fear whatever incarnation of regressive leftism will take his place, but let's hope that Republicans start getting their act together and take back the state house ASAP!
