Janus v. AFSCME: How to Leave Your Teachers Union

Janus v. AFSCME ended forced unionism and forced dues.

Every public school teacher has rights as a public sector worker.

Janus v. AFSCME has ended the "agency fees" imposition which public sector unions were allowed to get away with for decades.

Democrats Targeting States to Repeal Right to Work Laws

Wow, this is alarming!

Nevada has a Democratic trifecta this year, and Virginia is barely a divided government, with a Democratic governor and slim one-seat Republican majorities in both chambers of the Virginia Legislature.

Things are not looking good for labor reforms and worker freedom if these states end up upending the right-to-work laws currentlyu in place

-----

This is not a drill, Arthur.

Union bosses are launching an all-out assault against the two states crucial to destroying Right to Work across the nation..

Their plan is to ram through the repeal of Right to Work laws in Nevada and Virginia this year as part of their roadmap to capture control of Congress and the White House in 2020.

That’s because union bosses are salivating over the HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars they could arm their candidates with in 2020 by repealing these two Right to Work laws.

To make matters worse, union bosses will use this momentum to catapult attacks on EVERY Right to Work law in the country.

In fact The Nation, a propaganda news outlet for union bosses, recently boasted the attacks, “will inspire more Democrats in that state and nationwide” to overturn Right to Work laws

But mark my words, your Committee is not about to let that happen.

Please read Mark's message below IMMEDIATELY -- it briefs you on everything we have lined up to stop Big Labor dead in their tracks

Then, please pitch in right away with your most generous contribution of $10, $25 or more

Our strength to fight only comes from supporters like you.

So please, grant us the resources we need to hold firm at this hour with a quick contribution right away

Sincerely,

Greg Mourad
Vice President, National Right to Work Committee

To: Greg Mourad [greg@nrtwcommittee.org]
Subject: HORRIBLE NEWS

Dear Arthur,

I have horrible news.

And it requires your IMMEDIATE action.

As I write you this email, union bosses are preparing an all-out assault to repeal Right to Work laws in two key states

Union bosses captured control of the state legislature and Governor's mansion in Nevada last fall and are also potentially three or four votes shy of full repeal in Virginia.

They're licking their chops to the tune of potentially HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars flowing back into their forced-dues for politics coffers.

In fact, repealing state Right to Work laws is part of their plan to seize control of Congress and the White House in 2020.

To make matters worse, your Committee's resources are depleted after our 4-pronged issue-discussion battle plan exposed union bosses' candidates and allies in the Senate to the nearly 80% of Americans who oppose forced-unionism. . .

. . . torpedoing Big Labor's plans to take control of the U.S. Senate.

In this nightmare scenario, I can't help but be reminded of the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolution

You see, Colonial forces were in a prime tactical position atop the hill as British troops stormed the terrain.

And despite being outnumbered and outgunned, Colonial soldiers fought back two massive assaults and the British empire was forced to retreat after each wave.

Then, just as victory was within reach, the colonists faced an ammunition shortage

Colonial forces were forced to resort to throwing rocks and swinging their muskets as the British troops charged the hill and captured the high ground.

Just like the Colonial troops on Bunker Hill, your Committee is in a tactical position to defeat Big Labor's efforts in both states

But it will require a tremendous effort by your Committee.

And without additional funding, I'm afraid we could face the same outcome as Bunker Hill with Big Labor storming the state capitols and snatching victory in the eleventh hour.

I refuse to let that happen

That's why I established an Emergency Right to Work Defense Fund so your Committee can fight back right away.

Arthur, I'm counting on you to come through with an emergency donation of $50 immediately

I know that may be asking for quite a lot.

But if we're forced to scale back now, we may face defeat -- just like the Colonial troops on Bunker Hill.

If $50 is too much at this time, please consider helping us defend Right to Work with $25 or at least $10

Your contribution will be rushed right away to bolster our proven tactics and defensive battle plans -- so whatever amount you give, please give immediately.

EMERGENCY
RTW DEFENSE FUND: IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED

You see, the media hyped up a so-called “blue wave” for Big Labor's hand-picked candidates on election night.

Yet many union bosses were shocked after the number of Right to Work pledged supporters actually increased in the U.S. Senate.

But now union bosses are out for revenge

Fueled by the BILLIONS of dollars American workers are forced to fork over, Big Labor is scheming to ram through the repeal of Right to Work laws in Nevada and Virginia.

Union bosses are salivating over the thought of forcing workers in these key states to cough up hundreds of millions of dollars for Big Labor's forced-dues for politics scheme.

We simply can't let that happen

It's crucial we allocate our resources to double-down on our proven programs.

But without additional funding, your Committee may be forced to scale back -- allowing Big Labor to waltz through the state house demanding full repeal of Right to Work.

That's why I'm hoping you'll help us defend Right to Work with an emergency contribution right away

Your most generous contribution will directly fuel our efforts to defend Right to Work.

And your support couldn't be more crucial than at this very moment as we battle against Big Labor.

As we've seen in the states where we passed Right to Work laws over the last few years, Big Labor will unleash a fury of protests and dirty tactics

West Virginia's capitol was packed with union bosses seeking to defeat our quest for worker freedom.

But that was nothing compared to the avalanche of protests when Right to Work was passed in Wisconsin.

In Michigan, teacher union militants staged "sick-outs" across the state to flood Lansing with intimidating protests.

And no one can forget when Big Labor's politicians fled Indiana for nearly six weeks -- just to block a simple vote on the Right to Work bill.

Arthur, if this is how union bosses respond when threatened with passage of Right to Work, imagine how they will act during an opportunity to repeal it

But thanks to generous contributions from supporters like you, Arthur, the Committee was able to defeat Big Labor's intimidation tactics before.

If union bosses are successful in repealing just one Right to Work state law, not only could more state laws fall like dominos . . .

. . . But I'm afraid it could also stall our momentum to pass the National Right to Work Act in Congress.

That's why your emergency contribution of $50 is so important.

With the stakes this high, I'm really hoping you're able to dig deep and come through with $50 right away.

I realize that may be more than you've given to the National Right to Work Committee before.

But if that's too much right now, please consider $25 or at least $10

EMERGENCY RTW DEFENSE FUND: IMMEDIATE
ACTION REQUIRED

At this very moment, your Committee must expand the final phases of our proven mobilization plan designed to put pressure on key legislators who could control the fate of state Right to Work laws.

If funds allow, the Committee will:
***
Double-down on deploying email alerts and phone calls into targeted districts in the final days before the vote;
***
Grow our team of key staff to personally brief editorial writers, columnists and radio talk show hosts;
***
Expand our state-of-the-art digital campaign through Google and Facebook, allowing us to reach tens of thousands of Right to Work supporters to urge their Representatives to defend Right to Work.
But none of this will be possible without your generous financial support.

And time's running out.

That's why your action is needed IMMEDIATELY.

So please consider an emergency donation of $50, $25, or at least $10 right away

EMERGENCY RTW DEFENSE FUND: IMMEDIATE
ACTION REQUIRED

You see, repealing even just one state Right to Work law would ignite a tidal wave of momentum for Big Labor.

MILLIONS of dollars will be RIPPED from the hands of the workers who earned it and put into the coffers of union bosses to elect and re-elect their hand-picked candidates in 2020.

So you can be sure the union bosses will fire everything they have to expand their forced-dues power

That's because Big Labor needs the power of compulsory unionism and the BILLIONS of dollars American workers are forced to fork over.

If your Committee defeats Big Labor, the union bosses' attempts at blocking the National Right to Work Act and seizing control of Congress and the White House in 2020 will be much more difficult.

And, believe me, they know it

That's why union militants and their lackeys are feverishly scheming to repeal state Right to Work laws and expand their government-granted forced-dues power and kill Right to Work.

Without additional funding, I'm afraid your Committee could strike out in Nevada and Virginia.

That's why your emergency donation today is urgently needed.

Can I count on you for an urgent contribution of $50, $25 or at least $10 to fuel your Committee's Emergency Right to Work Defense Fund

EMERGENCY RTW DEFENSE FUND: IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED

Arthur, your support is vital to really turn up the heat -- with phone calls, email and Internet ads, radio, even TV ads if funding permits -- to inform Americans about the effects of Right to Work and where the legislators stand.

With your help, my staff and I will be able to mobilize the majority of Americans who oppose forced unionism to stop Big Labor's attempts to scare wavering legislators into voting to repeal Right to Work.

But these bills could be ready to move any day now

So it's vital you act at once to beat back Big Labor's attempts to repeal Right to Work.

I hope you'll consider an emergency contribution of $50, $25 or at least $10 right away

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
President
National Right to Work Committee

P.S. Big Labor is preparing an all-out assault to repeal Right to Work laws in Nevada and are potentially just three votes away from repeal in Virginia.

If successful, HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars will be ripped from the hands of the workers who earned it and earmarked for Big Labor's plans to capture control of Congress and the White House in 2020.

I refuse to let that happen

That's why I've created an Emergency Right to Work Defense Fund to fuel your Committee's tried and true programs against Big Labor's repeal efforts.

I need your immediate help to fund our efforts right away.

Arthur, I'm counting on you to come through with an emergency donation of $50 immediately

If that's too much at this time, please help us block Big Labor's attempts to defeat Right to Work with an emergency donation of $25 or at least $10

Right To Work Foundation Launching Another Attack on Public Sector Union Bullying (Bierman v. Dayton)

Janus v. AFSMCE was not the silver bullet which I had hoped it would be.

The Supreme Court decision has outlined that public sector unions can no longer force people to pay into a union which they have not joined.

But now individual workers and their supporting organizations need to force these unions to comply with the ruling. They need to ensure that individuals can choose to join other unions as well as choose not to join a union at all.

Check out what they are working on now:

Arthur, this is incredible.

The Union Bosses are trembling at the thought of your Foundation's next case reaching the Supreme Court.

For the first time, one of Big Labor's most powerful lobbying weapons could be challenged at the Supreme Court.

They call it "collective bargaining."

But it's more accurately named monopoly bargaining, and this coercive scheme is used to divert government budgets into Big Labor's coffers, and raise your taxes to pay for it.

Fortunately, that may be about to change.

In just a few days, your Foundation can make history with a case asking the Supreme Court to, for the first time, examine the constitutionality of this scheme

A gavel landing on the right side of Bierman v. Dayton would free thousands of workers from union boss control, and even swing open the door to end public sector monopoly bargaining nationwide.

With the union bosses' primary lobbying weapon off the table, their power to bludgeon politicians into backing Big Labor's schemes would dwindle away

So it's no surprise the union bosses are PETRIFIED.

In fact, you can be sure they're already plotting to run every dirty trick in the book to halt your Foundation's effort to free tens of thousands of workers from union monopoly ranks and restore their First Amendment rights.

That's why I'm coming to you right now.

Will you chip in $25 to punch through Big Labor's roadblocks and see this case through to the Supreme Court

The first hurdle to cross is filing our writ of certiorari.

But with the filing deadline just days away, your Foundation is scrambling to ensure we have the necessary resources to guarantee our petition has the best chance of being granted.

It takes an entire team of your Foundation's experienced attorneys to put forth the best legal argument for the Supreme Court to ultimately rule Big Labor's monopoly bargaining powers as incompatible with the First Amendment.

And that's not all.

A potential U.S. Supreme Court case of this importance involves thousands of hours of legal research, drafting of briefs, responding to union arguments, coordinating of amicus briefs, and staging multiple moot court hearings to polish the arguments to be presented to the Supreme Court Justices.

Foundation staff attorneys are already working hard to make sure they're ready for anything union lawyers throw our way.

But the expenses are soaring

We know from past experiences and victories that legal costs can skyrocket amidst a heated battle at the Supreme Court.

In fact, we've seen federal judges rule the cost of attorney fees to be well over $1 million for similar cases.

And now that the opening rounds of this Supreme Court showdown are being chambered and aimed, union boss lawyers are scheming to launch a slew of dirty legal tricks to encourage the Supreme Court to reject our appeal.

You see, every curveball Big Labor throws at the Foundation-backed Bierman case will drain more of our resources.

That's why it's crucial your National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation reaches our Supreme Court Victory Fund goal of $120,000 by the upcoming Thursday night deadline

I hope you'll help us close the gap with a generous and tax-deductible donation of $15, $25, $50 or more right away

I really appreciate your support in this major Supreme Court case brought by your National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation.

So please contribute below:

Pitch in $15 immediately >>>

Pitch in $25 immediately >>>

Pitch in $75 immediately >>>

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
President, National Right to Work

Public sector unions need to face pressure like never before. Their power is still unprecedented in a number of states, and the people who are footing the bills for their excessive privilege have a right to relief!
