Stand4Truth: Pastor Jesse Lee Peterson

I wish that more people had taken into account the impressive array of guests and speakers at the 2016 Stand4Truth conference HoustonPastor Jesse Lee Peterson is a well-known, well-received speaker and leader on all conservative matters.

He is the leader of the South LA Tea Party.

He is a Christian, a leader in the pro-family, and pro-father movement.

He has been a freuent guest at other pro-liberty movements and conferences, like the American Freedom Alliance in Los Angeles. He served as one of the hosts for the 2015 gathering. It was a privilege to meet him there and learn from other intellects in the fight to retain and restore Western culture and civilization.

This time, I got to see Pastor Jesse speak on the defense of family and gender as defined by Biblical morality and biology.

Like Pastor Bill Owens, who had spoken on Friday, October 28th at the Stand4Truth conference, Peterson blasted the Democratic Party and its big government cheer-leader, Lyndon Baines Johnson, for ruining the black family.

The whole Democratic agenda targeted African-Americans, inducing mothers to give up the father in order to receive welfare from the state. This program has not helped black communities, but rather set them back, make them a new form of slaves under government lash.

The whole agenda has focused on getting rid of men, diminishing manhood.

Unlike many leaders and readers of the Civil Rights Movement, Peterson identified one homosexual who was preeminent in the movement, and how that upset many of King's fellow activists.

Peterson did not mention that person by name. He was Bayard Rustin.

What many people do not understand, though, is that at the time, Rustin kept his sexual behavior to himself. He had to.

Today, many black leaders recognize that such conduct does not qualify as a civil right.

Here are Pastor Jesse Lee Peterson's comments:

By and large, black pastors have demonstrated the real boldness we need to see in all church leaders and members. We need to stop being afraid of the Gospel, stop running away from the Good News, and stop hiding the truth about the destructive ideology of the LGBT agenda.

Our rights come from God, not the state. Our authority does not require sanction or approval from the government. No one should be bullied or intimidated into saying nothing as the foundation of our culture slips away under our feet, leaving nothing for our children or future generations to stand on.

Pastor Jesse gets it, and wants everyone else to get, and get with it.

What a great man. A leader in the fight to restore men and boys to their rightful place as leaders and readers, movers and shakers in our shaken society!

Stand4Truth: Pastor Robert Jeffress Rallies the Faithful to Fight for Marriage

Pastor Robert Jeffress.

This man of God is incredible.

He is erudite and forceful, but he is not disrespectful.

His uncompromising faith in God's Word is just the tonic that our nation needs for revival.

Now more than ever, the Body of Christ needs to step up and shout "Stop!" to the destruction waged against the church, the family, and society.

We need to shout "Restore!" to a lost world trying to play God or seek the divine in everything but our Loving Father!

Saturday, October 29th, I got to meet the man who has turned heads and shocked liberal minds.

This pastor has taken on the illiberal wings of faux-Christianity, and held to a secure conviction of Biblical truth.

Check out this debate he engaged in with a female pastor from the "Church" of Christ (which Christ this woman was worshiping is anyone's guess ...):

I asked Pastor Robert about this exchange.

He has done so many, that he cannot keep up with the appearances and interviews.

There is no need for him to try.

I really respected that he attend the Stand4Truth conference, despite the fact that during his two speeches, the room was not as well attended as it should have been.

Reminder: this lack of participation was not the strict fault of the organizers, but fell on the shoulders of one mega church which had promised to sponsor the event, then backed out at the last minute.

Pastor Robert spoke Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Very effective and moving. The boldness he displayed is something that all pro-family activists have to fight for.

Here are his comments from Saturday:

This man is quite a powerhouse.

I was impressed with his comments through and through.

I really appreciate that he reminded the audience of the Founders.

Stand4Truth: The Truth About Homosexuality--Not Born That Way

This panel was particularly interesting.

First, Janet Boynes, a former lesbian, testified of her transformation.

She discussed the abandonment and abuse which she had endured, from her step-father and from her mother.

Then she talked about he she became an abuser in turn and a lesbian.

The hurt, the pain that she felt inside could not be fixed with same-sex relationships.

The love that she sought, she could not find in homosexuality.

She received Christ into her life again, and she transformed little by little.

In effect, she learned how to be a woman.

Ryan Sorbo, seated on the right, went undercover into gay bars to find out what they thought about the origins of homosexuality.

The answers were shocking!

Most of the men candidly admitted that they had been raped, molested, abused by loved ones.

Many of them in turn molested children, One of the perverts candidly admitted that he would be in a lot of trouble if the police found out what he had done.

Here is the extended undercover video:

This information was enlightening for understanding this problem.

And also very disturbing.

Abuse breeds abuse.

Hurt people hurt people.

Enough is enough.

We cannot keep treating same-sex behavior like a benign eccentricity.

In fact, those words I learned from Brian Camenker, the President of MassResistance.

Instead of strictly discussing the true origins of homosexuality, he talked about the enablers, the militants who are hurting our society, and stealing our liberty.

Here are further comments from the panel.

And here:

Stand4Truth: Standing Up to LGBT Bigotry

Our moderator/leader presented to the audience a diverse, well-received community of activists, academics, and articulate leaders who had see bigotry of a different form in the past.

A panel of experts, including a therapist, an attorney, and a pastor who had lived through the Civil Rights Movement, commented on the slow and subversive destruction of our culture because of the LGBT movement.

Matt Staver outlined the disturbing erosion of our liberties at the hands of the militant homosexual lobby:

Here are some scenes from the panel:

Dr. David Pickup

Pastor Dave Welch

Pastor Bill Owens

Matt Staver

Here's the video of their discussion:

Pastor Dave Welch was one of the Houston Five pastors who stood up to the openly gay Houston mayor Annise Parker and stopped the "non-discrimination" ordinance, which would have allowed men to enter into any public facility meant for women only.

It also would have shut down churches, charities, and small businesses owned by conscientious objectors who refused to participate in a homosexual wedding or other ceremony.

If they can stand up to LGBT hate in Houston, they can do it anywhere.

Stand4Truth Conference: Day One (Daylight) with Dr. David Pickup

As I had written in a previous post, I landed in Houston at 2am on Friday, October 28th.

I had enough time to get some rest.

Thankfully, the conference did not start until the late afternoon.

Yes, we had police present at the conference.

A few radical LGBT groups were manifesting to protest.

At the hotel, though, there was little to no disturbance at all.

Sadly, the meeting was not the most well-attended.

According to one source, a mega church had offered resources, time and even confirmed a large turnout to attend. But the church backed out at the last minute.

Really sad.

In spite of the less than expected turnout, it was a really eye-opening conference.

Nationally renowned pastors and speakers arrived, declaring their staunch affirmation for God and Country.

The need for the Gospel to be preached in our schools and in our society could not be more emphatic.

Licensed professionals, like Dr. David Pickup, explained what true reparative therapy is all about.

It is NOT about trying gay men to give up their lifestyle.

Homosexual feelings are a manifestation of deeper pain, especially for men who do not want to feel that way.

Dr. David Pickup could not have made it clearer: his practice is all about restoring peace to his clients.

And the same-sex attractions fall away.

It;s about helping men who have endured unspeakable trauma as children, violent attacks to their identity. Many of his clients had no contact, felt no affection from their fathers. In many cases, they did not know their fathers at all!

Dr. David Pickup

For Dr. Pickup, this work is particularly personal, because he was molested as a kid, and struggled with his sexual identity as a result.

The wholeness he presented to the audience was particularly inspiring.

We need to fight against the LGBT agenda because in far too many cases, the reason why men and women struggle with same-sex attraction has nothing to do with sex.

It has everything to do with the three things that everyone needs:

1. Affirmation

2. Acceptance

3. Approval.

Indeed, many of us take these elements of our formative years ... for granted.

But with a world which has diminished fatherhood and shamed manhood, should we be surprised by the growing number of "gay men"?

He also identified why young people who grow up thinking that they are "born that way", because they lack the formative needs before they realize that they are not receiving them.

Quite a revelation.

Here are some of his comments at the Stand4Truth Conference:

Here he outlines clearly what reparative therapy is NOT!

It's not about making people feel ashamed of themselves.

It is not based on aversion techniques.

It's about truth. Knowing the truth about your innate value before God.

It's about scientific evidence.

It's about standing for what is right and standing up to the lies.

When he shared with the audience that he was a victim of abuse, it really shocked and wakened everyone up at the same time.

Stand4Truth Conference Day One: Arriving in Houston

I had never planned my own airplane trip before.

Accomplishing new tasks does not have to be scary.

What we all need to know is that we have nothing to fear from trying, from expanding, from reaching out and going to new places and doing new things.

Houston Texas!

I have never been to a Southern State before - at least a state in the Deep South!

But this was my chance.

I feel so much gratitude to MassResistance, and the Director Brian Camenker.

I had long looked forward to learning more about the underlying issues associated with same-sex behavior, attraction, and the inimical, destructive LGBT agenda.

I learned a great deal from this conference.

But first, I just want to write about what it was like getting there.

A good friend of mine, Tracy Hopkins, drove me to the airport.

I was really impressed with how much she knew about getting from point A to Point B at LAX.

I ended up arriving at the airport much sooner than needed, but that was no big deal.

It was great to see so many people ready to take off to different places all over the country.

The flight to Houston was delayed for one hour, and it seemed it would extend to an hour and a half.

Thankfully, the delay lasted only one hour.

Off we go to Houston!

I ended up landing in Texas at 2:00am Friday morning!

I was tired. I had not slept for nearly 24 hours!

But I was glad to be in Texas.

The Hobby Airport was a sight to behold!

Only in Texas will they tell visitors not to bring in UN-licensed firearms.

Reminder: open carry is legal in Texas, and the crime rates going down testify to its effectiveness!

The architecture and artifacts in Hobby Airport were nice to see, too:

What a wonderful place to be!

More on what happened that morning, October 28th, 2016 soon!

Pastor Bill Owens Exposes LGBT Abuse of the Civil Rights Movement

Pastor Bill Owens is a veteran of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.

He is a life-long humanitarian too, working trhough the Gospel to change the lives of young and troubled people to excel in education and prosper in their lives.

His ministry was called "Give Them a Chance Ministres."

He now heads the Coalition of African-American Pastors.

They have fought agaisnst

He saw men and women killed for the fight.

He talked about the strong stance which Rosa Parks took on that bus in Birmingham, Alabama.

She simply refused to give up her front seat.

Bill Owens looked back on the Civil Rights Movement then, and how the LGBT Agenda studied the movement, co-opted it, distorted the movement, and has been beating on the country as a whole every since.

They basically robbed the movement.

Now the LGBT lobby is not only discrimination against black people, but going after everyone else.

Check out his interview with me at the Stand4Truth Conference in Houston Texas:

The Civil Rights Movement is a remarkable and sometimes terrifying history.

People need to understand that black people fought for their rights against big government bullies and other bigots.

The same big government bullies and bigots are now attacking everyone who refuses to comply and submit to the abusive, destructive homosexual agenda.

Here are his final remarks:

It was a really eye-opening interview for me.

I was really glad to learn from this powerful and influential black pastor.

It's time for all of us of faith and conscience to stand up and stand for truth!

Because you and I shall know the truth, and the truth shall set us free!

Stand4Truth: What True Reparative Therapy is

Dr. David Pickup tells the truth about his calling in Reparative Therapy.

He helps men, young and old, to deal with unwanted sexual attraction which often results from sexual abusive or distance and a lack of attention, affirmation, affection from our fathers.

Fatherhood is absolutely crucial for young men.

This needs to be restored!
