Al Muratsuchi: Unevolved, Anti-Christian BIGOT

Al Muratsuchi is a massive union whore.

Now he's anti-Christian, anti-religious bigot who wants to shut down every form of free thinking and thought in the state of California.

He voted for legislation which would ultimately shut down every church and outlaw the Bible because the counseling, teaching, and information promotes natural marriage, gender identity, and family roles.

This is beyond disgusting.

Conversion therapy is completely appropriate for men and women who do not want same-sex attraction anymore. If they want to be set free from desires and demands which harm their bodies and minds, they are entitled to seek that treatment.

This is a full-blown attack on Judeo-Christian values, right here in the state of California. This is happening one step further than the awful affront that is SB 1146.

Shame on any legislator who supports such perversion.

Help out the California Family Council and put a stop to this shameful disregard for the rights of citizens and the rule of law.

California Family Council: Stand Up to LGBT Bullying, Tell Sacramento to Reject AB 2943

I wanted to share this eblast and all the links within with as many people as I could connect with. The Sacramento regressive leftists know no bounds, no shame. They would criminalize free thought of every kind if they could. As of now, every piece of legislation rushed through the state legislature is picking and cutting away at the rights of California's citizenry.

We must stand up to this perversity.

AB 2943 would criminalize the Bible and any other source of counseling or teaching which guides men and women to give up homosexuality and transgenderism.

These behaviors are destructive mental and emotional disorders which should be confronted, not accommodated. It's time to stop being nice about the LGBT-gay marriage-homosexual agenda.

It is agressive, abusive cultural marxism at its worst--and it must be stopped!

Make California Godly Again!

Dear Defender of Religous Liberty,

I wanted to make sure you saw this very important message from our friends at Focus on the Family. We appreciate our national allies sounding the alarm on AB 2943!

Subject: Free Speech Threatened by CA bill

Focus on the Family
Dear California friend,
A bill threatening free speech and religious freedom has passed the California State Assembly and is moving through the State Senate.
AB 2943 is a wide-reaching piece of legislation that threatens churches and counselors with lawsuits for communicating the message that change from homosexuality or healing from gender identity confusion is possible.
TAKE ACTION TODAY –
OPPOSE AB 2943
Get involved: contact California Family Council today!
Please contact your state Senator and ask him/her to oppose AB 2943.

The bill uses the state’s consumer fraud statute as a means to penalize free speech on the issues of homosexuality and gender identity. It would impact the following for proclaiming a biblical view of homosexuality, and male and female, when a financial transaction takes place:
  • Christian counselors
  • Bookstores – whether in a building or online
  • Christian schools and colleges
  • Church conferences
  • Publishers
  • Medical and mental health care professionals
Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Matt Sharp explains the implications:
"California AB 2943 makes it unlawful for any person to sell books, counseling services, or anything else that helps someone overcome unwanted same-sex attraction or gender identity confusion. As a result, it could be a violation if a pastor encourages a congregant to visit the church book store to purchase books that help people address sexual issues, perhaps including the Bible itself, which teaches about the importance of sexual purity within the confines of marriage between a man and woman."
There is still time for you to get involved! The bill is pending for a vote in the state Senate, so now is the time for you to speak up on behalf of free speech and religious freedom.
Please contact your state Senator and ask him/her to oppose AB 2943 because adults should have the freedom to live their lives according to their faith.

Letters to the Editor: Jordan Peterson Article in Townhall.com

Responses to: Jordan Peterson, Celebrity Intellectuals, and the Counsel of the Ungodly

Thanks for your article on the above. While I agree that one should not take Peterson ‘hook, line and sinker’, I think I’m less concerned with his present fence-sitting. I am confident that if Peterson remains dedicated to the truth, he will find the Truth, perhaps sooner than his stated three years. Many honest truth-seekers have done so, as long as they stay honest (eg Lee Strobel). It would seem that Luke’s gospel came about in that very fashion (Lk 1:3) and even encouraged other “lovers of God” to do the same (v 4).

Hey Arthur,

I am a new fan of your weekly columns on TownHall. I'm sad that Maxine Waters hasn't been in the national news lately because I thoroughly enjoyed your lampoons on her. Oh I'm sure she'll be back in the news for the sole purpose of impeaching our President. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I have been pleasantly surprised by your last few columns. It's a rare thing to find any columnist who understands biblical theology and quotes its passages accurately. It has been refreshing to read your biblical take on the ills of our secular and depraved society.

I agree with you whole-heartedly. I have one suggestion for you that may help your readers understand the Bible better. Use a modern translation when quoting scripture. I know that the King James is a great translation but most modern people don't speak the King's English and are a little weirded out by the "thees" and "thous". I propose that you quote from one of these 3: NAS, NIV, NLT.

It might make it easier for your readers to stay interested and actually become more biblically literate than they already are.

Thank you.

The True Biblical Response to Illegal Immigration and DREAMers

Pro-amnesty advocates love quoting the Bible in their defense: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” (Matthew 25:35).

Jesus’ statement is directed toward individuals who welcomed strangers into their own homes voluntarily. Any form of amnesty imposed by our government is not voluntary.

My consternation with these Biblical arguments has grown since reading this article in the Christian Post, when evangelical leaders, many of whom I respect, pressured Congress to pass some kind of DREAM Act. Pastor Samuel Rodriguez of Sacramento, CA stated in a January press conference:
"The wall is a physical object created by man. 800,000 human beings created in the image of God by God.” Walls are Biblical, affirmed by God in Scripture. In fact, God commands the construction of walls around Jerusalem both the Old (Nehemiah 1:1-7:3) and the New (Isaiah 54: 12; Ezekiel 42:20).

In another letter to Congress, Evangelical leaders wrote: "Roughly 700,000 young people are poised to lose their right to work lawfully in the U.S., not to mention their dreams of a future in this country—the country they were brought to as children, without choice.” First of all, this country is not responsible for their parents’ crimes, which has harmed their children. Children should not be punished for the sins of their parents (cf. Jeremiah 31:29), but natural consequences remain. A mother breaks into my home, steals my car, and her children use the ill-gotten gains for good. I am still entitled to restoration of my property (Exodus 22). Illegal aliens are stealing this country’s space, resources, and wealth.

In response to these pro-enforcement arguments, preachers cite The New Covenant (Hebrews 8:10-012), that we are no longer under law, but under grace. However, grace is not arbitrary. Jesus died on a Cross for the sins of the world, the just for the unjust (1 John 2:2; 1 Peter 3:18). A payment must be rendered. Why should law-abiding citizens pay for lawbreakers?

If Christian leaders want to preach accurately on immigration, they should first acknowledge a few things:
1.       Nations are God’s idea, not merely man’s construction, and rewarding illegal immigration harms nations. Genesis 11 reports God created multiple languages—and nations—to stop mankind from building the Tower of Babel. The dissolution of border security and national sovereignty are unholy gestures. To contend for amnesty based on a misplaced understanding of scripture is not tenable. There will come a time when every knee will bow, and every tongue confess Christ Jesus as Lord, but for now nation-states remain as part of God’s plan. Rampant amnesties only erode national boundaries.

2.       Citizenship is defended in the Bible. Strangers were respected (Leviticus 19:34, Deuteronomy 10: 19), buT expected to adopt Israel’s all the customs (Numbers 15: 14-29). Paul the Apostle asserted his Roman citizenship to redress the abusive treatment of Roman soldiers (Acts 22:22-23:11). He also addressed his fellow Christians as “citizens of heaven” (Philippians 3:20, Colossians 3:5-16). Membership in a defined, national compact matters and should not be pushed aside. Many illegals in this country, especially DREAMers, are hellbent on retaining and imposing a neo-pagan culture in this country, estranged and unsubmissive to our country’s constitutional rule and civic culture.
3.       Christians are called to honor their rulers (and rules!) among the nations (1 Timothy 2:1-2; 1 Peter 2:17). To dismiss the authority of temporal rulers, especially on matters of immigration, is unholy and unwise.

Instead of championing amnesty, Christian leaders should reference the ideal immigrant: Ruth the Moabite. She did not break into her adoptive nation. She had a sponsor. There were other factors which Ruth obeyed, too (Ruth 1:16-17):

a.       “For whither thou goest, I will go”: She would attend to Naomi, recognizing her place in her new country as based solely on the goodness of her mother-in-law. She did not enter into Israel as a political radical or busy-body.
b.       “Where thou lodgest, I will lodge”: She would live with Naomi, not depending on someone else, particularly the state or taxpayers, to provide her housing. Her needs would come from her sponsor, not by force from other inhabitants in Israel.
c.       “Your people will be my people”: This statement sums up assimilation perfectly. She pledged to become an Israelite. How often do our leaders today talk about the importance of immigrants adopting American customs, rather than demanding that we accommodate their foreign ways?
d.       “Thy God [will be] my God.”: while our free society does not demand religious adherence to one creed, we should expect immigrants to embrace our cultural and moral values. For this reason, I am adamant against accepting adherents of Sharia Law, for example, or other religious sects which endangers life and property.
e.       “Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried”: Ruth pledged a complete break with her pagan country and culture. She refused to abandon her new country or identity.

Ruth and Naomi
At the very least, liberal politicians and pastors should stop shaming the public by misusing Scripture. Christians should have a ready defense when amnesty advocates distort Scripture for selfish political ends. Every country has a right to strong borders, safe citizens, and a secured sovereignty. These are not un-Christian expectations in the slightest.

Stand4Truth Conference: Day One (Daylight) with Dr. David Pickup

As I had written in a previous post, I landed in Houston at 2am on Friday, October 28th.

I had enough time to get some rest.

Thankfully, the conference did not start until the late afternoon.

Yes, we had police present at the conference.

A few radical LGBT groups were manifesting to protest.

At the hotel, though, there was little to no disturbance at all.

Sadly, the meeting was not the most well-attended.

According to one source, a mega church had offered resources, time and even confirmed a large turnout to attend. But the church backed out at the last minute.

Really sad.

In spite of the less than expected turnout, it was a really eye-opening conference.

Nationally renowned pastors and speakers arrived, declaring their staunch affirmation for God and Country.

The need for the Gospel to be preached in our schools and in our society could not be more emphatic.

Licensed professionals, like Dr. David Pickup, explained what true reparative therapy is all about.

It is NOT about trying gay men to give up their lifestyle.

Homosexual feelings are a manifestation of deeper pain, especially for men who do not want to feel that way.

Dr. David Pickup could not have made it clearer: his practice is all about restoring peace to his clients.

And the same-sex attractions fall away.

It;s about helping men who have endured unspeakable trauma as children, violent attacks to their identity. Many of his clients had no contact, felt no affection from their fathers. In many cases, they did not know their fathers at all!

Dr. David Pickup

For Dr. Pickup, this work is particularly personal, because he was molested as a kid, and struggled with his sexual identity as a result.

The wholeness he presented to the audience was particularly inspiring.

We need to fight against the LGBT agenda because in far too many cases, the reason why men and women struggle with same-sex attraction has nothing to do with sex.

It has everything to do with the three things that everyone needs:

1. Affirmation

2. Acceptance

3. Approval.

Indeed, many of us take these elements of our formative years ... for granted.

But with a world which has diminished fatherhood and shamed manhood, should we be surprised by the growing number of "gay men"?

He also identified why young people who grow up thinking that they are "born that way", because they lack the formative needs before they realize that they are not receiving them.

Quite a revelation.

Here are some of his comments at the Stand4Truth Conference:

Here he outlines clearly what reparative therapy is NOT!

It's not about making people feel ashamed of themselves.

It is not based on aversion techniques.

It's about truth. Knowing the truth about your innate value before God.

It's about scientific evidence.

It's about standing for what is right and standing up to the lies.

When he shared with the audience that he was a victim of abuse, it really shocked and wakened everyone up at the same time.
