Texas MassResistance ‘Teens4Truth’ Conference is a huge success! Equipping youth to counter the LGBT movement in schools.

The presentations told the plain truth that most teens (and their parents) rarely if ever hear, and gave detailed, easily understood explanations.

The long anticipated “Teens4Truth” Conference, held Nov. 17-18 at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas and sponsored by our Texas MassResistance chapter, was an overwhelming success.

Attendees filled most of the main auditorium, and also the additional break-out session room.

The purpose was to give teenagers, parents, pastors, and teachers the knowledge and skills to help counter the LGBT agenda and propaganda in their schools -- and now seeping into their churches. To our knowledge, there has never been a major pro-family conference bold enough to do this -- particularly in such a direct and unwavering manner.

This has been a big problem across the country. Children and teenagers are heavily bombarded with LGBT propaganda and disinformation. Vulnerable kids are often encouraged to “come out” and identify as homosexual or transgender. Parents, youth, and others often feel helpless, and have long sought help to deal with and confront this onslaught.

Nearly two dozen speakers came from as far away as the UK to participate.Texas State Representative Ron Simmons welcomed the group via a special video. The range of topics (see below) was quite broad and full of critical information that the average person never sees. Several uncompromising organizations had booths with their materials.

The event was widely publicized in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area through Christian radio and several churches. Nearly 100 teenagers and adults attended, and many more watched it live via Facebook. (There were several concurrent presentations that were not streamed, but will be posted.)

In addition, during the conference Texas MassResistance leader Dr. Robert Oscar Lopez did several live video interviews (which we are also posting) of the speakers, youth attendees, and others, including a lot of fascinating background information, reactions, and online questions from the public. Dr. Lopez is also a professor at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Attacked by the media and LGBT movement

Even before the conference started, the LGBT movement expressed their anger that it would be allowed to take place. Not surprisingly, they sent protesters outside the Seminary (whom we met and videoed). Interestingly, the protesters were from the pro-LGBT “seminary” at Texas Christian University (TCU), also in Ft. Worth, which often clashes with pro-family conservative values.

And almost immediately after the conference there was huge wave of vitriol from national mainstream media (including Newsweek) and numerous LGBT “news” sites. Like so much from that direction, it was pretty unhinged, over the top, and laced with lies.

The pro-family movement in Texas is taking off the gloves! On April 1, 2017, our MassResistance Texas chapter held its first citizen action conference at the Oak Meadow Baptist Church in Austin, the state capital.

The MassResistance Texas chapter is quickly gaining momentum statewide!

The main goal was to educate and equip people to confront and stop the new, aggressive LGBT agenda being pushed in the Texas public schools, particularly in the lower grades. Another goal was to help push for passage of Bill SB6 in the Texas Legislature, which would protect restrooms from the radical transgender agenda.

This is what parents are starting to see in thcir children's elementary school!

It was a great success! People came from across Texas. Several “action networks” were forged. [Read the write-up on the MassResistance Texas website.]

A valuable packet of  “how-to” activist information was given to the attendees. Included were instructions on how to contact public officials, how to submit open records requests, how to navigate the formal complaint processes, how to get religious leaders involved, and much more.

This was the place to be in Austin on April 1!

A heavyweight lineup of speakers

But the real meat of the program was the lineup of speakers who came from as far away as Boston and Chicago. They thoroughly educated the attendees about what’s really happening behind the scenes – and why! Several people told us they’d never been to anything like this before!

Here’s a synopsis of the presentations. (NOTE: We will have these videos posted soon!)

1. Brian Camenker of MassResistance was the emcee of the event. He opened the event by talking about America’s early fight against tyranny and how it relates to today, and the ways we must confront the powerful, well-funded radical groups that are subverting our lives taking away our freedoms. We have the Truth – and we need to use it!

2. Caryl Ayala, a recently retired Texas elementary school teacher, talked about how the LGBT movement has been infiltrating the pre-K and elementary education system in schools without parents or voters knowing. She explained how she was forced to endure hours of training to be an “LGBT-affirming teacher” – and how there implicit threats against teachers who objected in any way. Teachers are even told not to refer to students as boys and girls – in pre-K!

3. Sharon Armke was taking courses to get her principal’s certificate at Texas State University. She delivered a passionate speech about how she was not allowed to complete the internship necessary for certification because she refused to agree with the LGBT agenda. When she protested this decision to the administration, they simply told her, "No one said life was fair." She had spent over $20,000 for the program but cannot be hired as a principal.

4. Dr. Michelle Cretella, the president of the American College of Pediatricians, spoke via Skype. She delivered an excellent lecture about the natural development of children’s sexual identities, which is vastly different than the destructive propaganda about children from the LGBT movement and the pro-LGBT “medical” community. In particular, it is unethical to inflict the risk of sterility with hormone blockers and other radical measures on young children, as is being done in “gender clinics” in hospitals across America.

5. Dr. Robert Oscar Lopez, humanities professor at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and leader of MassResistance Texas, talked about the real-life impact of the radical LGBT curriculum on educational institutions. He described five areas of academic work that it severely subverts – research, teaching, service, administration, and credentialing. For example, research becomes heavily doctored and politicized. Teachers can be routinely accused of discrimination and harassment – and retaliated against – if they do not show enthusiastic support for LGBT claims based on bad research. Ultimately, the entire educational system becomes warped. Parents need to fight back early on, he says.

6. Rev. Tim Littleton is a Southern Baptist pastor from Alabama who spent years in ministry outreach to homosexuals. Along the way, he got to know a lot about the LGBT movement and how little it did to help actual homosexuals. Instead, in Alabama the movement is currently fixated on infiltrating and subverting conservative Christian churches across Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas. One current $8 million grant from the LGBT group Human Rights Campaign is targeting Baptist churches in those states. One tactic they use is to send “transgender” youth or “gay” couples into churches to use sophisticated psychological techniques to intimidate the congregations into accepting homosexuality. It is becoming frighteningly successful, and must be confronted.

7. Peter LaBarbera, founder of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality and a contributor to LifeSiteNews, gave a shocking overview of the way America’s major corporations completely support, fund, and participate in the radical LGBT agenda. The Human Rights Campaign creates a ghastly 100-point “equality index” – which they ratchet up every year – and hundreds of corporations strive to keep their top “100-point” rating on it. A top score requires full transgender surgery benefits and a ban on donating money to any group or religious institution that does not fully accept homosexuality and transgenderism as normal.

8. Video of “Children of Gays.” Produced by Dr. Lopez (who grew up with “gay” parents), this video helps people understand that to most children raised in such homes, the depictions of same-sex parenting in pro-LGBT curriculum materials are one-sided and insultingly false. These kids feel “erased” rather than affirmed, because the whole school is romanticizing an image of "gay" parenting that ignores their pains and makes it impossible for them to come forward with their struggles.

9. David Pickup is a licensed therapist who deals with clients who struggle with gender identity or sexual orientation issues. David talked about the well-documented role of childhood issues, trauma, and early sexual abuse in an overwhelming number of such cases. He also talked about the dangerous practice of schools counseling youths to “come out” as gay when they desperately need legitimate healing therapy. Moreover, the LGBT movement is undertaking a national campaign seeking to criminalize any counseling for children that is not “gay-affirming”. This is much worse for these confused children than doing nothing at all.

At the conference, all the presentations were simultaneously translated into Spanish for the Hispanic audience that came.

Filling a pro-family action need, and moving forward!

This citizen action conference really filled a need. Pro-family people everywhere want to fight back against the medical atrocities being perpetrated on their children, and against the radical agendas being forced on them and their families. But they don’t know what to do, or even the background of where it came from and how it got here.

This conference didn’t just present material and end there. MassResistance Texas activists will be following up with the attendees in their various school districts and legislative districts to coach them, and help them to actually do what is necessary in their locales! 

And there’s more to come: MassResistance Texas Chapter Leader Dr. Robert Oscar Lopez is already planning similar action conferences across Texas, starting in Ft. Worth later this year!

"No, I Wasn't Born This Way," Says the Openly Gay Milo Yiannopoulos

Now this statement should shock a lot of people.

Milo Yiannopoulos, the editor for Breitbart Tech, the counter-culture conservative who is shaking up campuses all over the United States, also identifies as gay.

But he does not hide behind the "Born That Way" lie.

He explains in full what happened:

This declaration was one of the most refreshing and accurate I had heard in a long time.

This coming from a man who still identifies as "gay."

He points out the sordid history behind this political farce, now turning into a tyrannical force in our culture.

And it's spreading world-wide.

The truth is--the whole "gay agenda" has been another liberal, progressive, American Democratic Party--media fraud pushed to further divide this country while consolidating more power for the government.

Let's be honest -- any government program based on falsehood is destined to create more pain and suffering all while attacking individual liberty and limited government.

The truth is that men and women are not born gay.

That is not to say, however, that it's a matter of brazen volition to enter into the homosexual culture.

Steven Crowder makes a compelling case for understanding that homosexuality is not a result of genetic determinants, but rather an complex issue from nurture (as opposed to nature), and more specfically a lack of nurturing (proper identity, etc):

Like Yiannopolous, Crowder identifies friends who do no like the gay lifestyle and they want out. They face terrible retribution from gay left activists who want to maintain the civil rights argument.

That is wrong.

The facts remain outstanding: there is no genetic evidence that homosexuality is a born trait.

Dr. David Pickup, who practices reparative therapy, offers a deeper answer for what motivates same-sex attraction:

But let's return to the comments from Milo ...

He asserts the political history behind the LGBT movement. They came up with a catty, deceptive lie, that men and women are born gay -- therefore, anyone who opposes gay marriage or the gay agenda is automatically a massive bigot.

For this reason, pro-family forces MUST confront the entire lie. There can be no peaceful coexistence with lies and with a destructive behavior which is spreading disease and  upending the fundamentals of our civilization.

No, homosexuals are not born that way. Their case is not a civil rights cause, but a government-induced fraud from the regressive left.

Then why does Milo continue in the behavior? He stands to lose a lot of money and political clout ... or so he things.

Maybe the whole arrangement is a First Amendment gag from the outset, and Milo will one day announce he is abandoning the lifestyle, will get married, and have children.

By the way, this revelation is not unique with Yiannopoulos.

Ryan Sorba announced the same historical pattern at the Houston Stand4Truth Congress in October 2016:

California MassResistance Weighs in on Malta's Ban on Reparative Therapy

Reparative therapy for individuals struggling with same-sex attraction has come a long way.

It is no longer abusive or harmful. The therapy does not attack the body or try physical means like sensory aversion. The new therapies deal with emotional hurts and lies which young people suffered, and never resolved into adulthood.

Reparative therapy has gotten a bad rap because of the lying homosexual activists determined to normaliz a perversion. True reparative therapy is not even about changing people's identities, but dealing with the pain and trauma--oftentimes, child molestation--which has afflicted young men.

What is the harm in exposing those hurts and bringing restoration to young men and women?

LifeSiteNews reported on the radical and unfortunate steps taken by the Maltese governnment, which has banned reparative therapy.

VALLETTA, Malta, December 8, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) — Legislators in the island nation of Malta have prescribed jail time for any counselor who seeks to help a client with same-sex desires overcome his or her unwanted attractions.

The Maltese Parliament unanimously passed the Affirmation of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression Bill into law on Tuesday. The new law states that counseling an LGBTQ person away from their chosen sexual orientation is "deceptive and harmful."

The penalty for therapists or anyone, apparently including counseling pastors, who "attempts to change, repress or eliminate a person’s sexual orientation" is up to €5,000 ($5,400) or five months in jail.

Notice that this law is a direct attack on religious liberty, on Freedom of speech.

This development is very troubling.

California MassResistance Director Arthur Christopher Schaper told LifeSiteNews that the new Malta law violates the rights of same-sex attracted people. “The truth is, individuals have every right to deal with SSA, and no state should prevent that,” he said.

“Individuals who struggle with same-sex attraction are people who have been harmed or neglected during their upbringing, who are trying to deal with unmet emotional and psychological needs,” Schaper explained. “In more severe cases, patients are struggling to overcome the emotional scars which results from sexual abuse.”

“Reparative therapy for same-sex attraction is neither immoral nor dangerous to patients,” Schaper said. “Banning reparative therapy actually makes it more difficult for people to deal with trauma from their youth.”

In fact, Schaper says the Malta law and similar reparative therapy bans in the U.S. are Orwellian thought control. “Reparative therapy bans are an incremental form of tyranny, a further, totalitarian overreach of the state into individual liberty and identity.”

Stand4Truth Conference: Day One (Daylight) with Dr. David Pickup

As I had written in a previous post, I landed in Houston at 2am on Friday, October 28th.

I had enough time to get some rest.

Thankfully, the conference did not start until the late afternoon.

Yes, we had police present at the conference.

A few radical LGBT groups were manifesting to protest.

At the hotel, though, there was little to no disturbance at all.

Sadly, the meeting was not the most well-attended.

According to one source, a mega church had offered resources, time and even confirmed a large turnout to attend. But the church backed out at the last minute.

Really sad.

In spite of the less than expected turnout, it was a really eye-opening conference.

Nationally renowned pastors and speakers arrived, declaring their staunch affirmation for God and Country.

The need for the Gospel to be preached in our schools and in our society could not be more emphatic.

Licensed professionals, like Dr. David Pickup, explained what true reparative therapy is all about.

It is NOT about trying gay men to give up their lifestyle.

Homosexual feelings are a manifestation of deeper pain, especially for men who do not want to feel that way.

Dr. David Pickup could not have made it clearer: his practice is all about restoring peace to his clients.

And the same-sex attractions fall away.

It;s about helping men who have endured unspeakable trauma as children, violent attacks to their identity. Many of his clients had no contact, felt no affection from their fathers. In many cases, they did not know their fathers at all!

For Dr. Pickup, this work is particularly personal, because he was molested as a kid, and struggled with his sexual identity as a result.

The wholeness he presented to the audience was particularly inspiring.

We need to fight against the LGBT agenda because in far too many cases, the reason why men and women struggle with same-sex attraction has nothing to do with sex.

It has everything to do with the three things that everyone needs:

1. Affirmation

2. Acceptance

3. Approval.

Indeed, many of us take these elements of our formative years ... for granted.

But with a world which has diminished fatherhood and shamed manhood, should we be surprised by the growing number of "gay men"?

He also identified why young people who grow up thinking that they are "born that way", because they lack the formative needs before they realize that they are not receiving them.

Quite a revelation.

It's about truth. Knowing the truth about your innate value before God.

It's about scientific evidence.

It's about standing for what is right and standing up to the lies.

When he shared with the audience that he was a victim of abuse, it really shocked and wakened everyone up at the same time.
