Janice Hahn Supports Safe Surrender of Babies ... And Abortions, Too?!
LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn supports the safe surrender of infants at LA County fire stations. This program began under the previous Supervisor, Don Knabe, and has been replicated in other jurisdictions throughout the United States.

On Thursday night, a baby boy just hours old was safely surrendered at LA County Fire Station 28 in Whittier. Under the Safe Surrender Program started by my predecessor Supervisor Don Knabe, a parent may legally, safely, and anonymously leave a baby three days old or younger with an employee at an LA County fire station or hospital, no questions asked.
I am thankful for this baby boy’s mother who chose to do the right thing, and for the LA County firefighters at Station 28 who were ready for the unexpected and got this baby to a hospital quickly and safely. The LA County Department of Children and Family Services will find him a safe, loving new home.

Hahn has been a bold cheerleader for abortion on demand, as well.

LA County Proclaims Support for Proposition 1: Constitutional Rights to Reproductive Freedom
LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a motion authored by Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and Supervisor Janice Hahn to support Proposition 1: Constitutional Right to Reproductive Freedom.
“The Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision will lead to increased deaths of women, particularly women of color, and it will be destructive to the rights of all. Reproductive health, including abortion, is a human right. This Board must continue to do whatever possible to guard this right – this includes supporting Proposition 1,” said Supervisor Solis.
Proposition 1, which is before the voters in this 2022 General Election, would amend the California Constitution to specify that the State of California cannot deny or interfere with a person’s reproductive freedom, extending to their fundamental right to an abortion and contraception. This amendment would enhance the public policy of the state by explicitly guaranteeing in the California Constitution what previously was a matter of case law. It will ensure that Californians can make personal medical decisions regarding reproductive rights with dignity and freedom from infringement.
“Roe’s downfall means reproductive rights are under threat at every corner of this country. We need to enshrine the right to an abortion in the California Constitution and, this election, voters will have the opportunity to do just that. We as a Board represent over 5 million women in LA County – this is one-fourth of all the women in California. As voters start to go to the polls – or mail in their ballots, this is an opportune time for our Board, comprised of all women, to proclaim our support for reproductive freedom and Proposition 1,” said Supervisor Hahn.

Hahn has no problem with killing babies up to birth, but she wants to rescue babies once they are born and have lived two or three days.
Has she forgotten that this legislation basically allows a baby to be left to die for days AFTER birth, as well?
Why the double-talk? Does any voter in Los Angeles County realize how dark and hypocritical Supervisor Hahn is on this issue of saving babies?!

The winning just never stops, even in deeply Democratic (and sadly, all too depressing) Los Angeles County.
In a previous post, I introduced to all of you a very confused, disturbed Indian-American soyboy named Vishal Singh. He-she-it-they (whatever!) has gone to great lengths doxxing patriots and genuine freedom-loving Angelenos. He ended up in a particularly nasty alteraction and got punched in the face as a result.
No matter what happened to him in one scuffle last year, he has developed a nasty reputation as an Antifa militant disguised as a left-wing journalist. He has fomented violence and peaceful protesters, and he goes out of his way to exposing them to great danger.
Well, his wicked ways have more than caught up with him.

Andy Ngo defended Singaporean Amos Yee when he was merely fighting for freedom of speech, and had fled to the United States because he faced multiple charges for violating his home country's "Public Order Act," which forbids statements that wound public feelings relating to religion, ethnicity, etc. Was Amos Yee worthy of any laudable support from journalists and free speech activists in the US? Not really, but does Vishal really think that he can impugn Andy's integrity because Creepy Yee was later found out to be an active predator? NOT A CHANCE.
The fact is that Vishal and his cohort of LGBT perverts routinely push LGBT indoctrination and grooming on children and adults alike. He and his Antifa hate-group cohorts celebrated and defended a creepy man pretending to be a woman, who had gone into the women's section of WiSpa in the Rampart District of Los Angeles last year. If that is not pedophilic, I don't know what is. For the record, Andy Ngo went out of his way reporting and exposing the man who had exposed himself to women and girls in the spa, including the fact that the offender had been arrested for previous acts of indecent exposure.

BREAKING: Torrance City Council Passes Resolution of No Confidence in LA County District Attorney George Gascon
And they said that it could not be done.
But it has been done!
In the wee hours of June 23, 2021, as their council meeting from June 22, 2021 went into overtime, the Torrance City Council voted for the Resolution of No Confidence in corrupt, lawless, pro-criminal Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon!
The final vote tally:
The final vote tally was 5 to 1, with former police officer, child abuse prosecutor and unpopular mayor Pat Furey voting No.
In spite of the fact that the mayor was so perversely recalictrant about this measure, the rest of the city council voted for the Resolution.
We did it!
Many residents and other activists in Los Angeles County told me that this would never happen. Oftentimes, the Torrance city council avoids passing resolutions stating a controversial position on an issue or a candidate.
The city councils in the past have often hewn a consensus conservative position, avoiding difficult issues as much as possible.
The initial pushback that I received from some of the city councilmembers on this issue a few weeks ago was particularly disturbing, and even infuriating. When I spoke to Councilman Mike Griffiths about this resolution, he just cut me off: "Not gonna happen." That kind of dismissive attitude really rankled me. I exposed his opposition the next week, and that lit up a lot of residents in the city.
Councilman Griffiths expressed ongoing dismay or disinterest in supporting the resolution earlier this morning, too. Ultimately, though, he voted for it. The kind of outrage and activism that I took on, that is precisely what it takes to get things done in politics: "In politics, nothing moves unless it's pushed." Griffiths felt the heat, and he saw the light.
I did the same thing with the other city councilmembers who had been sitting on the fence or refused to give a statement of some kind on this very commonsense issue. Not all of them returned my calls, but they got the message, and other people in the city got the message, too.
This outcome shows that you can fight city hall, and win.
Some people--including some of the city councilmembers themselves--did not like my tactics calling them out publicly for not taking a stance or rudely brushing me off.
But my approach worked, and many residents contacted me afterwards to confirm that they wanted the city council to do the right thing, denounce George Gascon, and go on record issuing a Resolution of No Confidence.
We did it, folks!

Open Letter to Torrance City Council: Reverse Stay-at-Home Orders, No Local Emergency Extension
Dear Torrance City Council and Staff:
It amazes me that the city of Torrance insisted on issuing its own stay-at-home, lock-down, must-wear-mask order.
The statistics bearing out the so-called spread of COVID-19 do not justify these extended lockdown orders across the country, and certainly not in the city of Torrance.
The rate of infections has dwindle tremendously. Initial projects had suggested that 2 million would die from COVID-19. Then teh projections were repeatedly revised downwards to 1 million, then one hundred thousands, then into the tens of thousands.
The projections have been wrong. Individuals who have contracted COVID-19 have survived by and large. A friend of mine from the city of Torrance, who now lives in Downey, contracted COVID-19 and had few symptoms before, during, and after the contraction.
More estimates indicate that COVID-19 is no different from the common flu, if actually milder in impact.
More importantly, it is unconstitutional for any government in the sovereign United States to allow for extensive lockdown orders.
Any emergency order must be narrowly defined and time-limited. Anything else is unconstitutional.
It's time to open up the City of Torrance once again.
Local municipalities are within their rights to exert constitutional authority and disregard unconstitutional statewide lockdown calls.
Sheriffs in Wisconsin and Washington are doing this, for example.

Georgia, Oklahoma, Alaska are taking steps toward opening up their states already. Orange County, CA has issued guidelines for business to reopen, as well.
The city of Huntington Beach, CA did not shut down their beaches EVER -- and there has been no spread of COVID-19.
San Diego has begun opening up their beaches, too! Why is there any delay for Torrance to open up?
City manager, the city order needs to be lifted. All forms of commerce need to be permitted to open up once again.
Time to rescind the orders and disregard the unconstitutional orders issued by Los Angeles County and California government agencies.

I have been informed that a supplemental item was added to Agenda Item 9A.
I am unpersuaded and undeterred from my prior declaration.
The city of Torrance should not be extended any statement of emergency.
Whatever funds that the city needs to recoup after May the 15th, they can be sure that those funds will be coming into the city coffers when businesses open up again and commerce is renewed throughout the city.
No extension of the Local Emergency Declaration.
No more lockdown condititions.
Reopen Torrance Beach.
Issue a letter/resolution/declaration demanding that the County of Los Angeles and Governor of California rescind their excessive, unnecessary lockdown orders.
I would ask the city council to direct the Torrance police department not to enforce the county and statewide orders. They are unconstitutional in their overreach. The city has the right and responsibility to take these actions due to its status as a charter city and due to the basic oaths taken by the elected officials in the city.
Enough is enough.
The COVID-19 outbreak was never as serious as many of the experts had declared. The mortality rate associated with COVID-19 is less than for the common flu. Forcing individuals to wear facemasks in public for trade in commerce is not conducive to good health, to the development of anti-bodies, or to the development of herd immunity to ward off the spread of this disease. In fact, most of the outbreaks of this illness have ocurred in nursing homes in the city. More defined, concrete steps should be considered to assist the potential victims in these populations, but the comprehensive lockdowns and stay-at-home orders are ineffective overreach.

Maureen, Teacher in Los Angeles County, Condemns Drag Queen Story Hour (And Why!)
Last night my friend confessed to me that her 9-year-old son is dressing up in drag! She told me this is a new behavior of his since she recently attended a neighborhood local library's, Drag Queen Story Hour. She continued to tell me that he used to like to play with Legos and build things. Now, he is questioning if he is a boy or girl. She is devastated. How many more children are out there confused about who they are after being exposed to the Drag Queen Story Hour?I am a concerned parent. I have friends who are drag queens and members of the LGBTQ community as I use to be a model and actress living in Hollywood in my 20s. I met people from all walks of life. Never have I felt annoyed about alternative lifestyles until now. I have done a lot of soul searching about why I am now feeling upset with this community. On one hand, I empathize with their need to feel accepted in mainstream society. I get it. After years of bullying from others and feeling less than, they are fighting back, organizing, getting their message of “accept me for who I am” out there in the public sphere. On the the other hand, their message of, we need to "groom the next generation," as the drag queen, Joe Faragher, recently put it, is frightening, upsetting, and disturbing because it puts ideas into children's heads that they can't yet process or fully comprehend.
Children have lower executive functioning skills than adults. They think concretely or in black and white. They are not able to discern for themselves about gender identity and what it truly means to be a man or woman, much less to be a man dressed up as a provocatively dressed female. Do you think it's healthy for children to be exposed to this? To me, it really is a no-brainer and not a political question, it's plain psychology.I believe that purposefully confusing children about sexual identity, male and female gender roles, and unhealthy lifestyles is more of an agenda coming from the LGBTQ activist community to put ideas in children's heads that are destructive, not constructive.So what's the solution? Should we allow drag queens to teach literacy in neighborhood libraries so they can normalize the drag queen lifestyle to make themselves feel better, or should we teach the social construct of tolerance to children by using healthy role models in society such as librarians and teachers who are credentialed to do so. Also, children need less complex tolerance curriculum in which to learn from, rather than drag queen curriculum. Maybe learning about Helen Keller would be a good starting point. The idea of teaching a child tolerance and love and acceptance should not jeopardize a child's capability of understanding themselves, just to make a drag queen feel better. Who is this really about anyway?

Schaper's Endorsements for California June Primary, Election 2018
A couple of people have asked me to list my endorsments for the upcoming June Primary.
I have posted them before, but I had to make some changes and adjustments simply because I didn't have enough information on all the candidates running for office.
So, here goes!
Governor
You guessed it: TRAVIS ALLEN!
I am disappointed with both Craig Huey and President Donald Trump. They are looking at money, when they need to look at policy and principle. This is a common mistake in California, sadly. Yes, this state is huge, and you need to raise big money to be effective. But what's the point of getting behind a well-monied candidate who will not fight for the basic values which everyone is clamoring for?
Illegal immigration remains the hot-button issue, and Travis Allen is the only one who has been leading strong to attack this problem. All the other candidates are not taking a clear stance on this issue or they openly endorse this Sanctuary State nonsense.
Lieutenant Governor
David Hernandez. He is been on the front line of the fight for California and for Los Angeles County in particular for decades. He is right on all the issues. and the only one is not afraid to go anywhere and everywhere to make a difference.
Secretary of State
Mark Meuser. This man has been on the front line fighting for the voter franchise of all citizens and against voter fraud. He has also fought to protect the rights of college Republicans in California when regressive, abusive leftists like Yvette Falarca wanted to shut them down. He has worked hard moving up and down the state of California to reach out to all voters.
After Trump won the general election in 2016, he went to Wisconsin and Michigan to make sure that the voter recount process was fair and consistent, and that every proper vote was tallied. Recall that Trump ended up winning MORE votes after the recount in those two states!
Treasurer
Jack Guerrero. He is certified public account who works in a large banking firm in Los Angeles. He is not just a Republican, but a true conservative who fights for the values that everyone is concerned about. He sits on the city council in one of the bluest cities in Los Angeles County, and he was recently re-elected as the top vote getter.
This man is exactly the one we need in office.
Controller
Konstantinos (Kostas) Roditis: He is the only Republican on the ballot. Period. That's good enough for me. Houpa!
Attorney General
Steve Bailey. He's a conservative, he's active, he served as a judge as well as a lawyer at one time. He didn't donate to Democrats, either. He has been fighting for this seat since early 2017. He's committed, and he has assured me his commitment to work with President Trump, to stop illegal immigration--AND to protect First Amendment rights of all on college campuses.
Insurance Commissioner
Steve Poizner. Yes, he's running as an Independent, but he's our best chance to stop LGBT/La Raza bigot Ricardo Lara. Need I say more?
US Senate
Erin Cruz. This is all about commitment and effort. Erin Cruz is the only candidate who reached out to me on social media and in person. She was the only candidate at the California Republican Assembly convention besides Tom Palzer. Tom is a great guy, but he needs to focus on repealing Top Twos . She is right on the issues that I care about. Yes, I have heard about Paul Taylor, but he just recently jumped in. If you are not ready to run until the last minute, then you're not ready to serve in the office.

Board of Equalization, District 3
Rick Marshall. He is the only Republican, a strict conservative on all the issues I care about, especially finance. Vote for Rick.
LA County Sheriff
Jim McDonnel
This endorsement may shock some people, but Brett Lindsey is a registered Democrat who switched parties because of his consultants. Bad idea. That kind of thinking is really bad. McDonnell was a vocal champion against SB 54 in spite of all the pressure and hell-raising from the Brown Supremacists and Open Border bigots.
That takes courage, and he even stood up to the Board of Supervisors to state his opposition to SB 54. I will support McDonnell.
