Our Texas chapter exposed the drag queen sex offenders at the Houston Library.

And I debated this issue with a pro-drag queen liberal "Christian" on Fox News:

I was the only one who had the courage to call out homosexuality and transgenderism as harmful behaviors. I refused to buy into the "gay conservative" lie.

And Laura Ingraham was so unhappy that I called out all this crap, that she canceled me live on air.

It's a real shame that many pro-family advocates do not have the broad opportunity to speak out against perversion with such direct necessity.

 MassResistance activists in the front row of the "Drag Queen" event in Redwood, CA made a difference.

A dedicated group of pro-family people can make a difference even in difficult locales!

Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is a loathsome propaganda routine where men dress up in garish women’s clothes and read offensive LGBT story books to young children. It’s showing up across America in public libraries and other venues. Its stated goals are to push “gender fluidity” on kids, give them “glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models,” and help them be “their true selves” with “no gender restrictions.”

Far-left San Francisco is where the Drag Queen Story Hour movement originated.

Redwood City is located just south of San Francisco and north of Palo Alto. Not surprisingly, it’s a very liberal and strongly pro-LGBT area. But in fact, there is a sizeable (but mostly-silent) cohort of pro-family conservatives throughout the Bay area. MassResistance has connected with many of them in Redwood City and neighboring cities.

So last month when word got out that the Redwood City Public Library was holding a Drag Queen Story Hour, local conservatives decided it was time to do something effective. One of them contacted us. She told us that last year, some locals showed up and protested outside the library to voice their disapproval when the toxic event took place. But it had no effect.

We got right to work and helped them devise a new strategy.

Sending a message that something was coming!

This time, we made it very clear to the library staff and the event’s organizers that pro-family activists in town were planning something in opposition.

First, one of our people specifically asked the library staff to give us as much information as possible about the event. Who was going to be the drag queen? (We definitely wanted to do a background check.) Who else was going to be involved? What books would be read? What else was going to take place?

No one at the library would reveal any of this. Instead, the library director said to contact the main organizer: Drag Story Hour in San Francisco. Our people (who identified themselves as MassResistance) emailed the San Francisco chapter and asked those questions. They never heard back.

But just asking those questions clearly alarmed the organizers. They surely already knew that MassResistance had a history of success derailing DQSH events across the country.

On the day before the event, our local leader went to the library to see where the story hour was going to take place. The staff directed her upstairs to the kids’ reading area, which had room for about 30 seats. The fact that we scouted the room signaled that some kind of bigger protest might happen.

The organizers apparently got the message and decided to back off from their extreme content.

On the day of the Drag Queen Story Hour, about a dozen of our group descended on the library.

Half of them arrived an hour before the 11:00 starting time so they could get front-row seats. They brought small signs and prepared to hold them up when the event began. The first thing they noticed was that police officers were already in the otherwise empty room. But they did not prevent our people from going in and taking the front seats on one side.

 When the pro-family people showed up early there were two police officers stationed in the room. But that didn't stop our folks!

The police were there in the beginning, but left right when it started. As one of our people observed, it was clear that the library wanted to intimidate us from disrupting (which we weren't going to do anyway) or from being in there at all.

Our other activists arrived a few minutes before 11:00 am and held signs outside the front doors.

A handful of pro-LGBT activists with small children, about 25 in all, came to the DQSH event. (We suspect many of them most likely go to other DQSH events to show “support.”)

A severely watered-down “Drag Queen” show

The person who showed up to read to the kids was not a Drag Queen! Instead, it was a woman wearing lots of make-up and an outsized dress. She read two innocuous (and uninteresting) children’s books with no sexual or LGBT messaging. Between reading the books, she did lead the kids in “The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish ….” – a noxious version of a popular toddler’s song. (There was vague innuendo here and there – but no child would have noticed it.) She also sang an inoffensive song.

 This time the "Drag Queen" was just an odd-looking woman who read mundane books to the kids.

Everyone – even the leftists – must have noticed that it was starkly different from the usual DQSH event! We were certainly surprised!

Throughout the entire story time, our activists’ protest was restrained, low-key, civil, and without disruptions. This probably irked the leftists.

And some good cheer afterwards to celebrate

After the event, some of our MassResistance group met at a uniquely conservative coffee shop located not far from the library for a small celebration. Apparently, it even features guest visits by Republican politicians and pundits – and doesn’t get burned down by the Left!

Final thoughts

If pro-family activists can pull this off in a far-left corner of America, it could be done anywhere!

For a first-time protest inside the Redwood City Public Library, our California MassResistance team did a great job. As noted above, Redwood City is not much different from San Francisco itself: Residents, local businesses, and politicians wholeheartedly celebrate the LGBT agenda, along with all the other “woke” ideologies. In spite of that overall hostile atmosphere, our activists made sure that the opposition to Drag Queen Story Hour got through loud and clear!

As one of the MassResistance people who took part told us afterwards, “I firmly believe that if none of us had shown up the way we did, the drag queen would have been a man and would have launched right into children’s story books with homosexuality, transgenderism, and worse. We definitely got into their heads!”

We’re all learning how the Left’s storm troopers are not only violent but degenerate. They come out in force to defend those who push sexual deviancy on children – and attack anyone who disagrees.

But in Texas, pro-family activists - including MassResistance – are boldly standing up to it!

As we recently reported, Texas MassResistance leader Tracy Shannon and MassResistance activist Kevin Whitt exposed how a local leftist church in Katy, Texas, was bringing in a Drag Queen with a criminal record to perform at an upcoming event with children. This was widely reported on conservative news sites, and several pro-family groups announced they would be showing up there to protest as the Sept. 23 event was taking place.

The church, First Christian Church of Katy, had quickly dropped that particular Drag Queen after Tracy exposed his past and published his degenerate social media posts. But the church continued to advertise the event with a different Drag Queen.

Raising money to help teenagers cross-dress without parents' knowledge!

Besides pushing “Drag” culture on children, the purpose of the church’s “Drag Bingo” event was to raise money for "Transparent Closet," the church's in-house organization that helps teenagers to cross-dress without their parent's knowledge. For example, the group gives dresses and make-up to boys, and gives girls strappings to “bind” their breasts tight to appear masculine – a very unhealthy practice promoted by the LGBT movement.

One pro-family man managed to get an admission ticket to the church's Drag show. While inside, he also was given a tour of the "Transparent Closet" by a church member! But when they saw that he was videoing, they had a police officer remove him. Someone later posted his video on Twitter. Right after he left the church, Tracy Shannon interviewed him.

He told Tracy that the Drag show was just as bad as people imagined it would be:

It was a drag show. And there were kids and other adults giving the drag queen money during the performance. There were suggestive things said, all of that. There were adults, younger children, and teenaged kids.

He then described what he saw in the "Transparent Closet" area:

The closet is set up in a way that is designed to keep parents uninformed. Chest binders, underwear, and bras can be found.

They told me that they're trying to get more binders and things like that. They showed me jewelry, purses, makeup, bracelets, earrings, underwear, and scarves.

They said they give Home Goods bags to the kids to take it all home secretly, "because families aren't supporting."

He also mentioned that these repulsive buttons were being given out at the church event.

Pro-family people gather to protest

On Saturday, Sept. 23, 0ver 200 people from several area pro-family groups – including Texas MassResistance – lined up across the street from the church to protest the event.

Many held signs. Some prayed and sang. A Catholic group prayed the Rosary. A contingent of “Proud Boys” (who are much maligned in the media) showed up in support. The peaceful protesters came because they were upset that this was targeting children in their city.

 People weren't afraid to speak out!

 It was a diverse crowd! When they found out that Antifa was coming, they had messages for them!

Antifa hoodlums come to support “Drag” and terrorize pro-family people

A group of several dozen Antifa thugs clearly had been organized to disrupt the pro-family protest. They lined up on the sidewalk in front of the church, facing the pro-family people across the street.

Many of them were masked and dressed entirely in black or wearing other bizarre clothes. They brought signs promoting homosexual and transgender behaviors (and child grooming), and, as usual, labeling those who disagree with them as “fascists.” (This is ironic, of course, because they are acting exactly as the true fascists of the 1930s.)

Word of Antifa’s plans had apparently become known to the police, who showed up in riot gear to attempt to act as a barrier between Antifa and the pro-family people.

 There appeared to be both local cops (above) and state police (below) on the scene.

The overwhelming opinion of the local people in Katy, TX was clearly against the Drag Queen event with children. Nearly all of the counter-protesters (supporting the event) seemed to be part of the Antifa group, and from outside of the community. All of the cars that passed by that honked or gestured supported the pro-family side. (A lot of thumbs-up!) The Antifa group appeared to be discouraged by that response, Tracy told us.

The Antifa thugs assaulted the pro-family people with Bear Mace – a powerful 20-foot spray meant to subdue aggressive, charging bears. Here’s what Tracy Shannon told us:

Antifa sprayed everyone with Bear Mace because they are idiots. They were intending to spray the Proud Boys but it was windy. The Mace blew down the street and affected most of the crowd.

There was also a drive-by by Macing of the Catholics who were praying Rosary. My son was Maced. The Mace got in all our throats. One woman had a panic attack, another had to administer an EpiPen because of allergic reaction to the Mace.

The police saw what was happening but made no arrest of the thugs. They did not seem to want to get involved beyond keeping people apart. It was outrageous, and very frustrating.

Were there actual Nazis among pro-family groups?

There were some strange people on the pro-family side that the Antifa people insisted were “Nazis.” But this was likely a false-flag stunt similar to what we’ve seen the Left do many times before. As Tracy told us:

They kept pointing out that “Nazis” were on our side. So, I yelled at them that “we didn't invite Nazis, but you invited drag queens for children.” Not sure if the weird men standing here were real Nazis or not, but they have shown up before, but only when Antifa is there. So they are either plants (most likely) or they are more interested in Antifa than protecting children.

Final thoughts

Although the church event itself could not be stopped, the fact that over 200 pro-family people came and stood up to the intimidation tactics of Antifa is significant. People working to sexualize children should never get a free ride. And prominent conservative media across the country reported and commented on this action.

Besides being violent, Antifa is more degenerate than many people realize. Like the Nazis of the 1930s and the Leninists before that, they recruit dysfunctional people from the dregs of society and form them into a nationwide terror group. They are clearly well funded and well organized. In this case, much of their funding (as we know) comes from US corporations that give hundreds of millions through a variety of disgusting leftist “social justice” front groups.

But good people must continue to stand up – and we will eventually bring back decency and a healthy society!

Coeur D'Alene City Councilman Makes Excuses, Defends Drag Show at Local Park

The Coeur D'Alene, Idaho City Council faced a much justified firestorm of outrage earlier this year.

In June 2022, the perverted hate group Northern Idaho Pride Alliance sponsored and pushed through a PRIDE event at Coeur D'Alene Park. It was an outrageous, vile, and incendiary program that brought out protesters throughout the state, throughout the region!

The performances were so vile, that one of them, a Satanic ritual "unbaptism" program, was cancelled. Sadly, the rest of the groomer operation took place. Massive protests ensued, including many suspected undercover feds. More to the city's shame, the police arrested a street preacher who was peacefully protesting!

I then found this article, exposing (no pun intended) something egregiously bad at the already disgusting PRIDE event:

I wrote to the Coeur D'Alene City Council:

You have an obligation to stop these PRIDE displays at the city park. There is NO First Amendment protections for any adult to flash his genitalia to an audience. NONE!

I am appalled that the event even took place as scheduled. The city is well within its rights--and its responsibilities--to deny a permit to the Norther Idaho Pride Coalition in the future.

I was at the Pride event with our police. They did not see anyone flash genitalia at any time. If it would have happened, that person would have been arrested. For someone to say otherwise, is to doubt our police department. It didn't happen.

I am absolutely appalled that you are defending the PRIDE performances at Coeur D'Alene park. Furthermore, to hide behind the police department generally or in particular is just loathsome.

The police did NOT do a good job protecting the perimeter, by the way. The fact that a Bible preacher was arrested instead of these perverted adults grooming children is an absolute testimony to the failure of the police department's leadership--and the city's leadership, including yourself.

That entire PRIDE event should have never taken place. There is no First Amendment right to corrupt minors or undermine the public square with pornography and smut.

I am going to make your flippant, arrogant remarks below public for the entire Kootenai County community to see.

You need to be removed from office. Your arrogant indifference harms children and adults alike.

LibsofTikTok exposed this salacious scene on Twitter, and the tweet ended up getting flagged and taken down. If Twitter stepped into to censor this scene, then surely the city council and police should have done something.

Instead, the cops were busy arrested street preachers.

But what is it with this Gookin guy, anyway?

Here's a little more information about Dan Gookin.

Gookin has been active in community theater and became the artistic director of Lake City Playhouse in 1997. He was elected to a seat in the Coeur d'Alene City Council in November 2011. He was a nominee for the Idaho Senate and the 2004 Libertarian nominee for the Coeur D'Alene city council.

So, Gookin is a Libertarian. That explains a lot of things. 

Libertarians are unwitting (or rather, witting) supporters of the regresive Left and other abject socialists. For the past 8 years, the Libertarian Party of the United States has supported homosexuality, transgenderism, Black Lives Matter, and the national party even complied with lockdown orders and mask mandates! Not very liberty-based, certainly.

And now, one of their few elected officials is on board with Drag Queens grooming kids in a public park, and he is more than happy to turn a blind eye to one of many brazen perverts flashing his private parts to the crowd.

Gookin has to go, and so does the rest of the city council for not wanting to stop this filthy, vile PRIDE event.

Event attracts enthusiastic LGBT “parents” –the young children seemed less interested.

 This "Drag Queen" reading to children at a San Diego Public Library event was even featured on the local TV news.

When you watch your tax dollars being used for deviant repulsive acts in your town, it makes you want to get up and do something. Especially if it’s happening in a local library that’s supposed to be a safe place for children – not a dangerous place with perverted, dysfunctional adults running the children’s programs.  

When the COVID shutdowns eased up in June, the San Diego public library system began a super-charged “LGBT Pride Month” promotion lasting over June and July, including homosexual-themed library cards. A main feature was a series of “Drag Queen Story Hour” events for young children – led by creepy cross-dressing men – that performed in all the branch libraries in the city.

Everyone knew this wasn’t universally supported. The local CBS-TV’s news report also included clips from the 2019 MassResistance protests outside a “Drag Queen” event at the library in Chula Vista, a nearby San Diego suburb.

So on July 20, 2021, when the “Drag Queen” event got to San Diego’s City Heights Library branch, some local San Diego MassResistance activists decided to take a stand. If members of the community didn’t do anything at all, how would that look?

Confronting the library staff

 Outside the City Heights Library in San Diego we made some noise and protested!

While the rest of the group protested just outside the front doors, one of them, Marilyn, walked in.

She was met by a library staffer and a security guard, who recognized her as one of the protesters and said, “We don’t want you to distract the other patrons.” Marilyn answered in a firm but calm voice: “What about the children who are being affected by all of this?”

A large man wearing a dress walked up and said, “We’re asking you to leave.” Marilyn said: “You need to quit doing this. You need to stop holding these things …”

The library staffer cut her off and said, “I’m going to call the police right now!” Marilyn answered, “Go right ahead. We’ve talked to them before. That’s fine.” The staffer said, “Let’s just wait outside then while they come.” Marilyn decided to walk out with her. (The police were not called.)

While they were walking out, the staffer said to Marilyn, “I appreciate how much you care about the children.”

Marilyn answered, “Well, you don’t care about the children because you are allowing these events to take place and you’re subjecting them to sexually perverse lifestyles that are destroying their innocence.”

When they got outside Marilyn continued: “So how much do you care about the children – all of you who are aiding and abetting this?” she asked.

The staffer responded, “I’m not going to answer that question.”

Marilyn retorted “Of course you’re not because you’re complicit in destroying children’s innocence by exposing them to sexual deviancy, here in our public libraries, paid for with our tax dollars. And [pointing to the guards] you security guards are also complicit in it ... How can you sleep at night?”

 The library staffer stationed two guards at the front door to make sure no normal people got in!

Outside, two guards stood at the library doors. Some other library staffers were there to pass out an LGBT packet (produced by the library) for the children as they came out the door when the event ended. Marilyn continued to admonish them. None of them would respond. But they clearly got the message!

A reaction from the Drag Queen event inside!

While the protests were going on outside, a friend of one of our San Diego MassResistance activists – who had not been aware of “Drag Queen Story Hour” events before this – decided to go in and watch it.

Here is what she told us afterward:

When I first learned about this, I couldn't believe anyone would knowingly bring their children to see and be read to by a person dressed in drag. It was so unbelievable to me, I simply had to see it with my own two eyes.

On July 17, 2021, I arrived at the library just before it started and went right in. It was held in the library’s courtyard. I happened to talk to what appeared to be a large, odd-looking man wearing a blue dress and deep red lipstick. He was obviously an organizer, setting up chairs, etc. He told me that this is “Pride Story Time” and the performer will arrive shortly.

There were approximately 20-30 people in the audience. Most were same-sex couples, and most, but not all, were with very young children.

Among the last people to arrive was a middle-aged blond woman with two older children, perhaps late elementary-school or early middle-school aged. As she passed by me, she said to the kids accompanying her, "Isn't this exciting? This is going to be great!" The kids didn't reply. They didn't appear to be as interested in the event as she clearly was.

The man in the blue dress then escorted the performer into the courtyard and on to the stage area. I could hardly believe my eyes. What I saw was a very tall, thin, black man wearing a woman’s style long-haired black wig, heavy garish make-up, a tight-fitting bathing suit-like pair of bottoms and a flamboyant, sequined, peacock dress. I've never seen anything as hideous as this in real life, only in movies. As he walked in, the audience cheered loudly.

He turned on some loud dance music and proceeded to do a dance more appropriate for a night club.  He motioned for the audience to clap in time with the music. At one point, he kneeled on the floor while leaning back with his head and body. He then thrust his hips in time with the music while the audience clapped and cheered. I found it pretty disgusting and totally inappropriate for young children, yet the adults and children in the audience were cheering and clapping.

After dancing, he sat in a chair and read some children’s books aloud. Rather than overtly “homosexual” or “transgender,” the books all seemed to have a subliminal LGBT message for the children to absorb. For example, the second book he read, A Quokka Life: Love Makes a Family, teaches young children about surrogate parenting – a necessary situation among homosexuals. Is that a good topic for very young children? The activists don’t care about that.

While the last book was still being read, the manager of the library walked by me and we talked for a bit. She explained how they are proud to host events like this in support of PRIDE for the surrounding communities, and she didn't understand or appreciate the protest going on outside. She added that this type of event rotates between various libraries in San Diego.

After the performer finished reading the last book, the event proceeded to photo opportunities for members of the audience (including the little children) with the performer. Many photographs were taken and the audience slowly dispersed.

As we walked out the door, the library manager and her assistant were handing out LGBT souvenir bags created by library personnel. The library manager even said to me, "Here, take two!"

 This is the LGBTQ kit handed out to the children after the Drag Queen show. The insert said, "This kit was created with love by library staff, we hope you enjoy your PRIDE activities." In other words, more tax dollars at work against you.

Since then, the image of this ghastly man, his sexualized dancing, and then reading children’s books to children keeps coming back to me. It’s immensely disturbing. And my tax dollars were paying for it.

 ... And handing them out as the audience leaves.

Final thoughts

Even though we didn’t “stop” this one, it’s very important that the people running these programs be directly confronted by community members. As the promotional news reports show, they are not only comfortable with it, they’re enthusiastic about it. They have no interest in the destructive effects this has on children. (And as we’ve seen across the country, the local authorities rarely find anything wrong with this, either.)

But a dose of cold water – especially given in a calm but very firm manner – has an interesting psychological effect. On a certain level, it almost always jars them. They’re used to living in a bubble where everyone talks and thinks the same way. We come and break that bubble!

And moreover, promoting deviancy and the early sexualization of a minor child is abuse. All the pro-family warnings about so-called “LGBT parenting” are being substantiated by programs like this.
