El Monte hosts a free immigration forum at local church

The City of El Monte and its partners hosted an informational forum on immigration and resource fair for community members at the Nativity Catholic Church April 27.

After a similar event called “Know Your Rights” seminar at the Grace T. Black auditorium in El Monte that was hosted by Congresswoman Grace Napolitano was interrupted by a Donald Trump supporter April 14, the city decided to hold another forum.

The forum, which was advertised with posters around the city, was calmer this time around with police officers surrounding the church in case of another situation.

Calmer because the mayor went out of his way to hide the event.

I had to take a tip from a resident in El Monte to call out this Friday night town hall teaching illegal aliens how to avoid capture and deportation for violating our nation's immigration laws.

While many were reluctant to come at the start because of the Trump Supporter incident, it took a while for the three hour forum to begin with it being pushed back to 6:30 p.m instead of 6 p.m.

How about that? They were afraid, as they should have been.

Shame on them!

Directed towards residents who are impacted by the changes in immigration laws, the forum featured community leaders, elected officials, and immigrant advocates that provided information on the status of undocumented immigrants.

 We do not need a change in our immigration laws.

What is needed is clear enforcement of our immigration laws.

After the dignitaries and guest speakers were introduced, the general discussion was held inside the church until 7 p.m as the rest of the other eight informational workshops began.

The workshops took place in buildings surrounding the church and included topics such as Detention/Deportation Defense, Temporary Protected Status, U.S Naturalization and Citizenship, and Deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals.

That church should have its non-profit status revoked!

One El Monte woman named Ariana Briones who attended the event, thought it was “very informative” and addressed the concerns her family had as well, feeling comfortable and relaxed. Briones mentioned she would come back if there were anymore events and recommended those that need help to come and learn more.

Now you and I see why the marginalized media is in total free fall. The romanticize the plight of illegal aliens, but despise or ignore the needs and concerns of American citizens, the men and women who are supposed to be the target audience.

El Monte Mayor, Andre Quintero, thought the general reception to the event was positive from the residents and was satisfied with the turnout saying that he “hopes the word gets out about the success of the event so that more people will have confidence to come and get the information they need.”

How about information for the rest of us to know, so that we can call ICE and have illegal aliens detained and deported?

As the general discussion was held in Spanish, Mayor Quintero said that that was not done purposely, saying he thought that they were going to do it in English and then have translation, but saw who was there and who they were serving that it just turned out that way.

WHAT?!

As there is a disconnect with the current administration of the U.S and the rhetoric that they have chosen to communicate with  “has made things very difficult and made people very anxious,” said Mayor Quintero.

President Trump does not make anyone feel anything. Individuals are responsible for their responses to policies and practices.

“We want people to have confidence in their government, we want people to have confidence in police in particular so that if they’re a victim of a crime that they report it, that they’re not afraid to speak up because they’re afraid that they’ll be deported.”

As Mayor Quintero takes pride in the success of the event, he said there is not a plan yet to make another one saying that hopefully “we’ll be able to have it soon.”

No word about another event, and that's the way it should be.

Update and Reflection

Congresswoman Grace-less Napolitano already had a stroke, and now she suffers from cancer. She had intended to announce her retirement at the April 14 illegal alien town hall, but We the People Rising showed up to display this corrupt and protest at length. Teaching illegal aliens how to break the law - that is the essence of treason.

We the People Rising--We the People everywhere--have every right ot stand up to this lawlessness.

And El Monte's local paper is pushing fake news like nobody's business.

The huge fails of the declining liberal press are unmistakable. They are choosing to go out in a blaze of shoddy glory.

The chief of police changed his story about what happened to me and way at the April 14, 2017 Grace Napolitano Town Hall.

I could not get in touch with the officer who assigned my case a number.

But finally I got in touch with a detective who has been assigned the case.

He was very sorry for what happened to me and he is looking into the whole mess.

There are no promises once the case is delivered over to the district attorney's office.

But know that there are forced within the El Monte PD who are helping me!

(EL MONTE, CA)  On Friday, April 14, 2017, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano held a successful “Know Your Rights” Town Hall to inform immigrants and citizens of their constitutional rights and protections, despite loud protests by anti-immigrant activists.

“The President’s new policies on immigration are fueling anti-immigrant sentiment, which is raising uncertainty, instilling fear, and ultimately making our San Gabriel Valley communities less safe,” Napolitano said. "Our hope is that after our town hall, residents will better understand their rights and be better equipped with the knowledge they need to protect themselves, their friends, and their families. We thank all those who attended and the City of El Monte for partnering with AILA, Catholic Charities, and CHIRLA on this critical event. Some individuals chose to attend with the goal of disrupting the program and inciting hysteria, but we were not intimidated. We remain firmly committed to protecting the rights of all community members.”

Nearly 200 people attended Friday’s town hall event, which was free to the public and held at El Monte’s Grace T. Black Auditorium. Undeterred by disruptions, El Monte Mayor Andre Quintero moderated the event.

“I’m grateful to Congresswoman Napolitano for holding this informational town hall,” said Mayor Quintero. “She has consistently been an advocate for immigrants and understands that we are a stronger nation when we embrace our immigrant community.”

Speakers from AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), Catholic Charities, and CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles) gave presentations that outlined the basic constitutional rights and protections afforded to all people in America, explained how to handle an encounter with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and later answered specific questions from the audience.

“Rights to people in the United States apply to everyone in the United States, regardless of your immigration status” said Alan Diamante of AILA. “We are here today to remind you that there are people in your city, in your churches, and in your communities who want to help you.”

“There is still a lot of fraud committed by notaries,” warned Efrain Villa of Catholic Charities. “In other countries, notaries are immigration specialists, but in our country, this is not the case. Be careful!”

“Thank you for this opportunity to bring everybody together. These are issues that affect everybody’s life,” said Miriam Mesa of CHIRLA. “Information and education are the most powerful tools we have within our grasp. Knowing what to do in the event an ICE officer shows up at your door could save you and your family.”

MSNBC bizarrely airs live immigrant ’roundup’ with ICE to captureunsuspecting man when he steps out of home

MSNBC on Tuesday broadcast live from a “stakeout” with ICE agents as they waited outside the home of an unsuspecting undocumented immigrant.

MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson spoke to NBC’s Gadi Schwartz who was embedded with ICE agents conducting a “roundup” of undocumented immigrants in Los Angeles.

“We are basically on a stakeout,” Schwartz explained. “We are waiting for a target to come out of his home. And enforcement removal agents are going to swoop in and they are going to arrest him. We have seen two of those happen so far today.”

According to Schwartz, nine different teams of agents in southern California were participating in the roundup.

An agent in the patrol car with Schwartz described the target as a “serious criminal” who had been accused of a robbery in 2009.

“Previous surveillance has him walking out of the house in about 20 minutes,” the agent said, nearly whispering.

The agent complained that sanctuary cities were “roadblocks,” but he added, “That’s not going to stop us from doing our job.”

I just love that last phrase, how sanctuary city status cannot stop ICE from doing their jobs.

So much for the flimsy argument from corrupt Democrats like Chris Garcia of Cudahy as well as the arrogant city council of Culver City, Claremont, and other municipalities who have gone the way of dangerous political correctness and put the lives of their residents at risk.

Media Wins and Fails: Napolitano's Lawless Town Hall EXPOSED

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune actually wrote a pretty decent article about the Napolitano Town Hall for illegal aliens.

There were major victories for We the People Rising and for me in particular.

We really shook up the illegal aliens and their enablers, including the charities and legal services which were looking to make an easy buck at the expense of taxpayers and while promoting lawless treason.

Anti-immigrationprotesters interrupt ‘Know Your Rights’ forum in El Monte

A group of protesters, some sporting “Make America Great Again” hats and other clothing in support of President Donald Trump, interrupted a “Know Your Rights” information forum for undocumented immigrants hosted by Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, D-El Monte, Friday night.

We interrupted the lawlessness and lies coming out of the mouths of the corrupt mayor and his cohort of treasonous frauds.

We are allowed to do that.

The event, held at the city’s Grace T. Black Auditorium, was meant to provide residents with information about legal protections and resources for immigrants, as well as about the naturalization process.

Legal or illegal? Notice that the media refuse to provide clear distinctions!

Video footage posted to Youtube on Saturday showed a brief shoving match that broke out between two attendees after El Monte Mayor Andre Quintero ended the event early following multiple outbursts from the audience.

The audience -- not just Trump supporters.

One of the protesters wearing a MAGA hat and a Trump flag as a cape had his cell phone knocked out of his hand, then was pushed by another man. Quintero and police separated the two. A pair of officers then escorted the protester from the building.

This event above happened to me and these crimes should have been the focus of the article.

About 25 people protested the event before it began, and made loud, disruptive comments inside once the event started, Napolitano said.

Napolitano disrupted the community when she decided to host a criminal, treasonous town hall.

The congresswoman said the event, which included representatives from Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles and Catholic Charities Los Angeles, still provided all the information the hosts intended to, despite the interruptions and early end.

She said she thought it was clear the Trump supporters had come not to listen but to “make noise.”

Wrong. Do we really care what Mrs. 18% Usury Napolitano really thinks?

“Someone said they had called (Immigration and Customs Enforcement),” Napolitano said. “They were trying to intimidate our residents.”

That was me!

One of those people who said he called ICE and U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to report the event was Torrance resident Arthur Schaper, the protester who was later pushed.

Finally someone said something

“It was offensive,” Schaper said Sunday. “(Napolitano) took an oath to uphold Constitution, and now she’s sponsoring a town hall that teaches illegal aliens about rights they don’t have.”

YES!

Schaper, president of the Beach Cities Republicans and member of pro-immigration-enforcement group We the People Rising, admitted to yelling out during the event, which he said was to “call out” when the speakers were lying. He was the only person escorted out of the event by El Monte police.

Indeed. Why was I escorted out? I did nothing wrong. I hammered the El Monte police chief and staff about this perversion of justice. At the least the press did something to hold them accountable.

Schaper said Sunday that the city invited lawlessness and anarchy by holding an event for “illegal aliens,” whom he said were the real antagonizers at the event. He said he is looking to press charges against the woman who knocked his cell phone from his hands, a man who shoved him and the woman who picked up his phone off the ground.

While Congresswoman Judy Chu, D-Monterey Park, canceled a similar event scheduled for Monday in Alhambra, Napolitano said she didn’t want to cancel hers despite hearing that people may look to cause trouble there.

Chu should never have proposed an illegal alien town hall, and neither should have Napolitano!

“I don’t think we should be intimidated by those folks,” Napolitano said.

In the Youtube video, as one of the panelists who attended the event began to speak in Spanish, a protester yelled for him to “speak English.”

Good for We the People Rising!

Quintero served as moderator for the event. Several protesters targeted the mayor with chants and shouts, including some who asked about his immigration status.

Quintero said he was taken aback by the protests. He said the event was an information session and not a debate on immigration policy.

He will be even more taken aback when AG Jeff Sessions cuts the federal funding and starts arresting corrupt, lawless elected officials like the Mayor Andre Quintero of El Monte.

I look forward to that day!

“It’s unfortunate that the president’s supporters are so filled with hate, but it’s a reflection of the president in the White House,” Quintero said. “His supporters are just as mean-spirited.”

In an email sent Saturday to Quintero, Hermosa Beach resident Ken Hartley admonished Quintero for hosting what he called an illegal meeting.

This information is a serious breach of privacy. Shame!

“The disrespect you have now shown to our nation, our constitution, and to the people in that audience is truly disgraceful,” Hartley wrote.

Way to go, Ken!

Quintero praised the El Monte Police Department and the locals in attendance for maintaining their composure despite the antagonism they had faced.

“The antagonizers were trying to instigate a fight,” Quintero said. “They wanted one moment to rally people against the congresswoman or anyone else.”

The true antagonism falls on the corrupt mayor, Congresswoman Napolitano, and the police department.

El Monte Police Chief Refuses to Explain Why I Was Escorted out of El Monte Town Hall, Then Changes Story

For the past three days, I have been contacting the El Monte Police following the rough escorting, asasult, and theft which I suffered at the hands of the illegals and their enablers at the Napolitano Town Hall.

I finally got to speak to the El Monte Police Chief David Reynoso.

What I heard from him was beyond outrageous!

I spoke with him and demanded to know why I was escorted so roughtly out of the Community Center:

He then said "The meeting was over."

That is never a reason to escort anyone out of anywhere.

Yet he provided me no answer earlier today.

I am the victim of three crimes in one day--but I was the one escorted out.

And the Chief of police is changing his story in one day!

ENOUGH!

Time for citizens in the state of California to rise up against this lawlessness!

Robin Hvidston, the Director of We the Poeople Rising, contacted reporter Christopher Yee for his flawed report on the events from the treasonous April 14, 2017 Illegal Alien Town Hall hosted by Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (D-El Monte).

The initial report was missing key information.

The original title event listed We the People Rising as "anti-immigrant", which is a total lie.

First of all, I would like to thank you for publishing the paragraph revealing why Rep Judy Chu cancelled her Immigration Forum. I had read your article in which Rep Judy Chu, who is my representative, was promoting her forum and then she abruptly cancelled it. I had contacted you to follow up on why she had cancelled the meeting, so thank you for including that information in the article.

Of note, our organization opposes ILLEGAL entry into the USA and we are in support of those who are legally present in the USA and have members who legally immigrated to this country and are now U.S. citizens.

SHOULDN'T THE THEFT OF THE CELL PHONE & ASSAULT BE THE HEADLINE? It is recorded on video.

I would point out that at a forum held by a member of congress an attendee's phone was stolen as he was struck by a female and struck by a male. This was all recorded. As well as the cell phone thievery was recorded. A CRIME OCCURRED. An expensive cell phone was stolen RECORDED ON VIDEO, and the theft occurred as police officers were on scene!

This crime is not referenced in the article. In fact,  the cell phone is not even referenced until paragraph 12.  In the article, it would seem the cell phone was just placed on the ground and then someone just picked it up. WRONG! It was stolen. And the video evidence, which is featured in the article, demonstrates how the cell phone continued to record as it was stolen and then disposed of - and the Facebook audience was horrified as they  were watching the assault and theft live on Facebook.  How could this article have been published without the theft of the expensive cell phone being the centerpiece of the article? Again, it was stolen as it was broacasting live on Facebook.

In addition, the article is inaccurate as it does NOT depict that there were those in the audience in support of illegal immigration who were shouting and hollering. People shouted out "F  Donald Trump" repeatedly. At one point, a group broke out in a loud and concerted chant, in my opinion, they were trying to shut the meeting down. But there was no mention by the mayor or the congresswoman about the outbursts and the yelling that continually went forward by those supporting illegal immigration. They would at times stand up and shout out. They put their cameras in the faces of the Trump supporters and were disruptive during the meeting. One of our members who was escorted to her car by an officer after the meeting had ended, asked why there was so much yelling by those groups, and he told her they were from out of town for the most part.

I would like to talk to you about doing a follow up article. One that would reflect the FACTS - an expensive cell phone was stolen at an event held by a member of congress and that theft was broadcast live on Facebook. In addition, the interruption and shouting by those in support of illegal immigration should also be included in the article. 

Readers of your article deserve to know the facts. Both sides should have fair coverage in the article.

Hermosa Beach Trump Supporter Slams El Monte Police, Congresswoman for Illegal Alien Town Hall

I received a copy of a letter which a Hermosa Beach resident sent to the El Monte Police Department following the crimes committed against me and members of We the People Rising:

Mr. Mayor,

You sir, should be ashamed of yourself.  You conducted a meeting that was very openly against the law.  I have submitted the video to ICE and our Attorney General, Mr. Sessions.   I also see that one of the badged staffers in the room actually stole a cell phone from a man with a Make America Great Again hat. It’s on video and it’s going viral.   That staffer should be terminated immediately. She’s now a criminal and should be sent to jail.

A FB video on the page of Veronica Tomas interviews the City Clerk after the event was over – and he clearly states that the Trump supporters were the ones who disrupted the meeting, when it was the Trump supporters who were attacked and assaulted.  The City Clerk is joke. 

The disrespect shown to the black woman whose son was killed by an illegal alien is a disgrace.  In a different video by the same Veronica Tomas – she’s calling the black woman a racist and telling her to go home.  Then a few minutes later she’s all free speech and stuff with the City Clerk. Terrible.

The disrespect you have now shown to our nation, our constitution, and to the people in that audience is truly disgraceful.  You are not fit to be an elected official. Mr. Mayor, I also noticed that when the Hispanic guy assaulted the red hat guy – you went to protect the Hispanic guy and let the victim be by himself. GREAT JOB MORON – protect the criminal.

RE: El Monte Police

It is obvious the Police did not care about the person in the red hat – he was assaulted – he pointed out the people who assaulted him and then police let one of them (a female) walk by 

him (she also appears to have had his stolen cell phone by one of the videos) – when good police have an incident – all are detained until it can be figured out what is going on.  

Your department instead chose to detain the victim only and let the criminals walk away. That is not following the law. That is CRAP POLICE WORK FROM A CRAP CITY MAYOR TOWN.

Congresswoman Tells Illegals How to Break the Law--La Raza Illegals Attack Citizen, Steal My Camera Phone

Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (D-El Monte) sponsored a town hall to teach illegal aliens how they can avoid deportation and protect themselves from law enforcement.

I am not kidding you. This behavior among Congressional representatives throughout California is becoming all too common an occurrence.

Congresswoman Napolitano brazenly disregards the immigration laws of this country. She brought in attorneys in order to protect illegal aliens.

But what about the protection for American citizens?

What about the upholding of our laws?

So, here is the full video of what happened at the El Monte town hall:

Veronica Tomas was there -- she was trembling the whole time, she was so terrified. These criminal, amnesty-pandering thugs do not understand, or rather they do not want to cooperate or care.

1. Naui harassed my friend Chanell Temple frequently. The chief of police had to force him back. Finally,law enforcement was standing up to that evil illegal alien panderer.

2. Congresswoman Napolitano was not too happy when I reminded her that she ripped off taxpayer by paying herself back huge 18% interest for loans she made to her own campaign! She broke the cardinal rule of responding. "That was 19 years ago!"

LOL.

3 Veronica accused me and others of stealing free papers offered to the public. Funny!

4, Members of the audience shouted down the immigration attorney, who was lying to the entire audience.

5. The mayor Andre Quintero got to hear me repeatedly shout him down with "Verguenza!"

They are not used to hearing someone who is not from El Monte shaming them and shouting them down.

6. Raul Rodriguez held the United States Constitution many times for people to see. Oh, and this irony was too much to pass up ...

7. Napolitano handed out Constitutions at a back table, many copies, and yet she was actively undermining the Constitution with the very town hall she was hosting!
