Correction: #SchumerShutdown Was Major GOP Win This Way, too

I was looking over the latest iteration of the HR 195 continuing resolution which passed out of the US earlier this week.


I had believed that it would fund our military and provide six more years of CHIP funding, but did not include the delay of onerous Obamacare taxes.

I was wrong. The HR 195 that passed out of the US Senate was adjusted so that the government funding would continue for three weeks instead of four.

Other than that, the Republicans got everything they wanted, evertything which they had placed in the original House Continuing Resolution way before.

I wanted to correct that, and do another touchdown dance, if you will, in the political endzone.

Cryin' Chuck is a lyin' schmuck, and his left-wing base is eating him alive over this failure.

That's the way it should be!

Judge Roy Moore: We Are in the Midst of the Spiritual Battle


Arthur,
The Obama-Clinton Machine's liberal media lapdogs just launched the most vicious and nasty round of attacks against me I've EVER faced.
I won't to get into the details of their filthy and sleazy attacks.
I refuse to repeat their lies.
Arthur, the forces of evil are on the march in our country.
We are are in the midst of a spiritual battle with those who want to silence our message.
The forces of evil will lie, cheat, steal -- even inflict physical harm -- if they believe it will silence and shut up Christian conservatives like you and me.
Their goal is to frustrate and slow down our campaign's progress to help the Obama-Clinton Machine silence our conservative message.
That's why I must be able to count on the help of God-fearing conservatives like you to stand with me at this critical moment.
I believe you and I have a duty to stand up and fight back against the forces of evil waging an all-out war on our conservative values.
Arthur, sometimes I grow tired and weary from the strain of moving directly from slugging it out with the GOP establishment to fighting off the powerful Obama-Clinton Machine's constant stream of nasty and vicious attacks.
But our nation is at a crossroads right now -- both spiritually and politically.
Our children and grandchildren's futures are on the line.
So rest assured -- I will NEVER GIVE UP the fight!
You see, I've been on the frontlines of the fight against the left-wing's all-out war against our conservative values for more than 15 years.
I've been attacked, dragged through the mud and even sued by powerful liberal groups and organizations like the ACLU and Southern Poverty Law Center.
Organizations who flat-out HATE the very morals and values you and I hold near and dear to our hearts.
Folks who can't stand the word "faith" or "Christian."
I refuse to stand down.
I'm planning to slug it out with the Obama-Clinton Machine with everything I've got over the next four weeks before the December 12 Special Election.
But Arthur, it would mean the world to me to know you're standing with me in my corner.  
The truth is, your support helps give me the strength and fuel to fight another day.

McConnell Wants to Bail Out Obamacare? Time to Bail on McConnell!

Since Senator Mitch McConnell has nowhere near enough votes to pass his health care bill, he is now calling for a deal with the Democrats to bail out Obamacare.

This is exactly the opposite of what McConnell promised to do and it shows, once again, that he never opposed Obamacare.

McConnell's strategy rejects the common sense consumer choice option proposed by Senator Ted Cruz as well as President Trump's fallback strategy of repeal now, replace later. The president's plan would bring premiums down while Republicans build consensus for additional health care reforms.


Senator McConnell hasn't even tried to repeal Obamacare and yet he's already eyeing another liberal deal that rewards his cronies while hurting American taxpayers.

This is why we supported Matt Bevin in the 2014 primary election against Mitch McConnell and it's why we believe his time as the Republican leader needs to end.

Help us fight back.

We aren't afraid to speak out about his failed leadership and fight for effective leadership in the Senate.

Americans elected an anti-establishment outsider like President Trump because they are disgusted with politicians who break their promises and put special interests ahead of hardworking Americans.

Congressman Labrador: Happy Independence Day

Dear Friends,

As we gather with friends and family on this Fourth of July, we come together to celebrate 241 years of Independence. While grilling hamburgers and hot dogs and watching the fireworks have become a Fourth of July tradition, we must take a moment to remember the reason we are able to gather together for such a joyful occasion. It is due to an amazing event that took place in the hot summer of 1776 when a group of ordinary men from differing backgrounds labored to produce one of the greatest documents of all time.
For years prior, Americans had been struggling with the British Empire for the freedom to govern themselves. Their desire for self-governance led to consequences difficult to imagine by today’s standards. Trade had been cut off leaving many businesses to fold. Homes were burned and livestock was destroyed. Entire towns were ravaged. At every turn they faced an army that was better-supplied and numerically superior. All they had was an unorganized, poorly fed group of volunteers. Despite their obstacles, however, they were strengthened in their belief that they had a right to govern themselves. They had a right to freedom. The delegates to the Second Continental Congress understood this and sought to articulate it to the entire world in such a way that it would not be misunderstood. The concept they described was revolutionary. The words they wrote are feared by tyrants to this day:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Today you and I are the beneficiaries of the selfless sacrifices of these early patriots. We stand united by the belief that all men are created equal and we pass that belief onto our children and grandchildren. We give our consent to be governed by laws that are meant to secure the freedoms for which those early patriots so valiantly fought. 
The patriots of the revolution faced many struggles throughout the war that most believed they could not win. But it was their commitment to freedom and the God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that enabled them to forge ahead each day.
As we celebrate this Independence Day, let us remember the example of those early patriots who committed themselves to the ideals of freedom and liberty. Let us endeavor to leave a legacy of commitment to freedom for our children and grandchildren. I wish everyone a happy Independence Day, and may God bless you, and, as always, may God bless America.

Breaking: Update on Condition of Congressman Steve Scalise

More evidence confirms that this was a politically motivated attack from a Bernie Sanders fanatical leftist.

Let us stand strong and demand accountability for this awful crime and hope for Scalise's immediate recovery.

RyanCare Media Fail--"All the Fake News that Fits Our Narrative."

RyanCare is dead

I am so glad.

The House leadership needs to work up the same moxie as President Donald Trump.

Or they need to step down from office.



Yet for all the failures of Speaker Paul Ryan, the media firestorm which erupted against the Republicans in the House is unfair and unfounded.

Check out this headline from the Washington Examiner:


Wrong.

The bill was not a repeal. Structural problems from Obamacare remained in place.

Yes, the mandates and the taxes were removed, but subsidies still remained in place, a devastating let down which does not go far enough.

But that does not mean that the Republican Party or Donald Trump broke a promise.

The Congress still has plenty of time to repeal this terrible law.

But what did Paul Ryan say in the press conference after the bill was pulled from the floor?

They uote one part of his comment: "Obamacare is the land of the land."


Notice that the more balanced, conservative sites add "for the foreseeable future" and "for now,"

It is not destined to be the law of the land forever, either.


Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a top conservative critic of House Republicans’ failed plan to replace ObamaCare, concluded his golf outing Sunday with President Trump by saying party members are “getting closer” on a compromise repeal plan and that he remains “very optimistic.”

I am too,



So ... Republicans have not broken any promise.

They are working on a better bill that will fulfill that promise.

The truth is, the media is looking for any trashy, desperate attempt to spin a failure or a pulled bill as immanent doom for the Trump Administration.

It's all fake news.

Going back ten years, does anyone remember the press slamming the new Democratic majorities in Congress for continuing to fund the War in Iraq? The press never went after Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi in 2009 and 2010 for refusing to get "the public option" or single-payer through Congress.

The double-standard still lingers in the press, and the marginalized liberal media is lingering in turn fo relevance. They keep lying, they keep ginning up one-sided attacks against Trump. Republicans, individual liberty, and constitutional rule.

Oh, and after Trump had tweeted that he wanted to get rid of the Freedom Caucus, he released the following Tweet:

If there is any promise broken. it's the New York Times motto, in which they claim to print "All the News that's Fit to Print." More like "All the Fake News that Fits Our Narrative."
