Huge Win: Ryan Amnesty Killed

Huge win for the American people!   Thank you to everyone who has been calling and messaging House Republicans and President Trump.  Your actions led to this stunning victory for our country today.

Paul Ryan got humiliated today when his mass amnesty bill got slaughtered in the House, 301-121.

Over 110 good Republicans rose up and killed this horrible bill.

No more Amnesties.  Secure the border and enforce our laws on the books, period.  If House and Senate Republicans won’t pass a true enforcement bill, then President Trump must take all legal actions to secure our nation as the Commander in Chief.

Unfortunately 121 pro-alien, pro-amnesty RINOs voted for this massive amnesty bill.
Here’s how all the members voted:

New Poll finds that most GOP mid-term voters are less likely to vote for Republicans who support amnesty.  This probably woke a few Republicans up today.

Ryan Amnesty Bill HR 6136 Worse Than Goodlatte, Destined to Fail

Congressman Paul Ryan insists on sticking up for the open borders swamp, when the American voters have repeatedly pressed on our lawmakers to secure the borders, protect American citizens, and put the sovereignty of our country ahead of the short-term profit margins of political elites.
Ryan is pulling a Boehner, nothing more.

He is throwing sour grapes at the voters, at his colleagues on the House Floor in a desperate attempt to please donors rather than do what is right for American citizens.

This is shameful, sad, and yet sadly par for the course from the political class, which we can only hope is going to be purged big time this November from both parties.

Update:

My Congress, #LyinTed Lieu is going to vote no on HR 6136.

Yes, he's voting against the legislation simply because the Republicans are bringing it forward, and the fact that the legislation does not open borders wide for illegal aliens from all over the world to invade the United States.

At least this wicked Congressman is advancing an element of my interest as an American citizen.

BREAKING NEWS:

Ryan's legislation fails big time, getting fewer votes than the Goodlatte bill, which was way better but still not good enough.

It's over, folks. There will be no amnesty bill of any kind. The Open Border Left and the Chamber of Commerce wanted cheap labor, cheap votes, and cheapened citizenship and sovereignty, and they won't get any of it at all.

I am waiting for Paul Ryan to announce his departure next. Ryan, You're Fired!

CITIZEN LOBBY VISIT TO REP KEN CALVERT'S OFFICE

6/26/18 Corona, CA
Report by Robin Hvidston

Deann D'Lean, Raul Rodriguez, Jesse Suave and Robin Hvidston: Citizen Lobby Visit

Citizen Lobbyists and constituents dropped by Republican Congressman Ken Calvert's district office in Corona to demand that he NOT support Paul Ryans' amnesty bill, which is scheduled for a vote today.

The Citizen Lobbyists met with Congressman Calvert's Staff Assistant Nathan Rodriguez. He was cordial and welcoming to the group.

They informed staff that it had been widely circulated on social media (see the report below) that Congressman Calvert was possibly going to support the Paul Ryan amnesty bill. He acknowledged that they have been receiving phone calls on the topic.

He said Congressman Calvert does not support amnesty. He said that all of the information was not in on the Paul Ryan bill and that Congressman Calvert was still studying the bill.

His constituent Jesse Suave said that he and his family immigrated legally from Mexico and that we expect all people to come LEGALLY to this country. Follow the law. The group reaffirmed that they do NOT support ANY DACA legalization. They emphasized that legislation in congress should be focused on helping American citizens: Veterans, homeless Americans, unemployed, the disabled and the more than 400,000 suffering U.S. children in foster care.

Nathan took notes from the meeting and said that he would pass the information on to the congressman.

NUMBERS USA ALERT: CALL NOWThe House will vote on H.R. 6136, the Goodlatte-Ryan-Denham Amnesty bill, this afternoon. There will be no more delays; Speaker Paul Ryan has said the vote will definitely occur today.
Will you make an urgent phone call this morning, telling your U.S. Representative to oppose H.R. 6136, the Goodlatte-Ryan-Denham Amnesty?
CALL YOUR CONGRESS MEMBER!

(888) 995-2127
On Tuesday, the bill's author Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), submitted an amendment that would have added Rep. Lamar Smith's (R-Texas) mandatory E-Verify legislation, the Legal Workforce Act, to H.R. 6136. It would have also made changes the agricultural guestworker program and would permanently expand the H-2B low-skilled guestworker program. But House Leaders have decided not to allow a vote on that amendment and instead just hold a vote on H.R. 6136 as introduced.
The original version of the Goodlatte-Ryan-Denham Amnesty would:
  • Grant amnesty to at least 1.8 million illegal aliens with only promises of future enforcement
  • Have little to no impact on the overall number of green cardswith lifetime work permits issued each year
  • Create a special merit-based green card system for amnestied illegal aliens
  • Eliminate several chain migration categories while leaving the largest category -- parents -- still in place, allowing amnestied illegal aliens to reward their parents with green cards in the future
CALL YOUR CONGRESS MEMBER!

(888) 995-2127
Here's an excerpt from what NumbersUSA sent to House Republicans yesterday afternoon:
Despite the fact that Republicans campaigned against amnesty and for putting the interests of American workers first, a small group of Republicans is attempting to force the Republican Conference to violate their campaign promises in the middle of a border crisis.

"The greatest asset of the American economy is the American worker. Our immigration system must protect American working families and their wages, for citizens and legal immigrants alike, in a way that will improve the economy... America's immigration policy must serve the national interest of the United States, and the interests of American workers must be protected over the claims of foreign nationals seeking the same jobs... We oppose any form of amnesty for those who, by breaking the law, have disadvantaged those who have obeyed it."
-- 2016 Republican Party Platform, pp. 25-26
Please call your U.S. Representative today and urge a NO vote on H.R. 6136

Speaker Ryan: Congressional Crackdown on Human Trafficking

New Trafficking Law: Crackdown on Backpage, Changes by Reddit, Craigslist

April 10, 2018 | Speaker Ryan Press Office | https://spkrryan.us/2v16zLA
Recently, Congress passed the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA) to help authorities crack down on websites that enable sex trafficking. Even before being signed into law, this legislation is already paving the way for change, making it easier for law enforcement to take action.
Federal authorities have seized control of Backpage.com—notorious for enabling traffickers—and indicted its owners, executives, and employees. Websites like Reddit and Craigslist have reacted to the new law by shutting down certain advertising pages. The New York Times noted about FOSTA:

“It makes it easier for states to prosecute, or for victims to sue, internet companies they accuse of hosting content that facilitated sex trafficking. While President Trump has not yet signed FOSTA into law, Craigslist has already responded to the bill’s passage by taking down its personal ads section.”
President Trump is set to sign the bill tomorrow, marking a turning point in the fight against human trafficking.
Sex trafficking erodes the foundation of safety that upholds our communities and violates the human rights of victims. Its perpetrators have used the Internet to expand their reach, emboldened by websites that have allowed their activity to fester. Until now, our laws have not kept pace with these new challenges.
In addition to making it easier for states to investigate and prosecute businesses that facilitate online sex trafficking, FOSTA equips states with more effective tools to do so. And it empowers victims to seek justice by providing recourse for them to sue.
FOSTA was sponsored in the House by Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) and includes reforms authored by Rep. Mimi Walters (R-CA) as part of the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act. The bill is supported by law enforcement, anti-trafficking advocates, faith-based groups, and members of the broader tech community.
We must do everything we can to end human trafficking—and that starts with shutting down the places where traffickers operate. These new reforms have already begun to make that possible, and Congress will continue its work to protect some of our country's most vulnerable from this horrific crime.

Illegal Alien Dreams Deferred

President Trump and the Republican Congress are finally acting like the leaders in Washington DC. What did it take for them to kick their majority into gear? Losing a sure-win Senate seat in deep red Alabama. Hate to say it, but God indeed worked in mysterious ways. Judge Roy Moore’s untimely loss has turned into the conservative grassroots’ long-term gain. Not that I wanted him to lose, but now McConnell knows that his time to resign is near. If he doesn’t deliver real MAGA results, then he can forget his cushy retirement in a lobbying firm.

He and the rest of the Republican Congress actually worked to get tax reform passed, and Speaker Paul Ryan confirmed the major reforms, with the repeal of the odious individual mandate in Obamacare. Another key win for the conservative grassroots with tax reform and the following spending bills? The GOP leaders have blocked an DACA provisions in the latest continuing resolution to fund the government through January. By then, Al Franken-groper will be gone for good, and Doug Jones will be seated. That white version of Barack Obama will vote a very centrist line in the US Senate, further outraging the Democratic Party and emboldening Republican chances in November 2018. I tell you what, Mitch. You kill any discussions of amnesty, you stop any floor vote on a DACA Fix, you get the RAISE Act to the President’s desk, and I will say “All is forgiven.”

At any rate, we are seeing some real winning. And with this timely Christmas victory, it should come as no surprise that the apoplectic left has gone nuclear. CNN trotted out a heavily slanted poll to suggest a Democratic wave is targeting Republican majorities next year. The tax cuts and job creation that will rally ahead in the next six months should encourage conservative voters and energize Trump’s supporters across the country, especially in Rust Belt States. The loudest, most rabid left-wing are the DACA recipients and their enabling supporters. 7,000 DACA kids (actually adults) a day are seeing their unconstitutional permits expiring. It’s about time this lawless giveaway went away.

Their methods for forcing any kind of DREAM Act legislation are getting stringent, extreme, and I fear violent. In California, I have confronted these illegal alien activists in front of three different Congressmen’s offices. They have traveled as far Apple Valley in the High Desert to North Orange County. They have also pressured every other Republican House Rep in the California delegation who has not come out in favor of a DREAM Act.

It’s astonishing to me how desperate and delusional their movement has become. Republican voters are emphatically opposed to amnesty. After eight years of Obama, one would think that even the most progressive amnesty panderers would realize that the Democratic Party never intended to help out the illegals. President Obama commanded immense legislative majorities in Congress during the first two years of his administration. He squandered his political capital on Cap and Trade, which died in the supermajority Democratic US Senate.  He also forced on us Obamacare. Every center-left, red-state Democrat in the delegation hammered away at the single-payer fantasy to impose on the country the wildly unpopular Affordable Care Act.

There was no amnesty, no immigration reform, no pathways to citizenship, no expansion of the open borders agenda. Obama campaigned on immigration reform in 2008, then offered a politically cynical DACA executive order six months before election day 2012. But no legal, constitutional solution. No wonder immigrant activists declared “No votaré Obama!” in 2014, which ushered in more Republicans for a clean sweep in both chambers later that year. Unfortunately, some amnesty squishes worked their way into the GOP Wave (Thom Tillis, Corey Gardner), and another amnesty architect Lindsey Graham held onto his seat despite epic disapproval levels from South Carolina state party leaders.

Because of these lingering elements, immigration enforcement activists such as myself have not rested, but doubled-down to ensure full enforcement. When the pro-illegal factions want to throw a fit in front of a Congressman’s office, we show up to counter-protest, reminding our elected officials to put Americans first. To our welcome surprise, the pro-illegal protesters’ numbers are dwindling significantly. Last week, right outside Congressman Ed Royce’s (R-Fullerton) office, a grand total of two DACA agitators showed up against a larger presence of Trump supporters.

Illegal aliens have also resorted to taking over Congressional offices in Washington DC. They recently staged a sit-in in the Senator Majority Leader’s Office. McConnell’s response: “No DACA legislation this year.” Later, he announced that a decision will be reached by March next year. Democrats in Congress are not just feeling the heat: they are getting burned in effigy. Nancy Pelosi promised a clean DREAM Act by the end of the year. Didn’t happen. Chuck Schumer promised a deal on the same timetable. Hasn’t happened, and will not happen.

Shame on these Democrats.  What were they thinking?

US Senators pushed the Obamacare of immigration reforms in 2013, thankfully it died in the House. Dirty Harry Reid was still running the US Senate, blocking every spending bill from the House of Representatives.  They muscled through a massive enforcement first program with amnesty, and the people stopped it.
Four years later, Majority Leader McConnell feels the heat from the engaged and enraged public about illegal immigration. Unlike the violent, disruptive illegals blocking the halls of Congress and taking over the US Senate cafeteria, American citizens have every right to double down on their demands. Why? We are requiring our federal government to fulfill its basic mission: establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, and provide for the common defense. After all, “We the People” means we the citizens, not “we the illegal aliens.”

The DREAMers are losing hope, and their dreams will be deferred to their home countries. Why should they complain, since their dreams don’t have borders, right? From now on, the American voters expect their lawmakers to put the hopes, dreams, and basic needs of American citizens first.

Tax Reform Passes the House, and The Dirty Dozen Who Voted "No"

Congress is about to hand President Trump and the country a huge policy, legislative, and political victory. Tax Reform has just passed the House of Representatives.

The sausage-making that goes into legislation can be a real turn-off. Yet for the first time in recent memory, it has become much easier for men and women to know what our representatives are doing in Washington DC, so even if we don't like some of the things that enter the process, we can also pressure our House Reps and US Senators to do more of the right thing.

To the best of my knowledge, as of the writing of this post, there will be no DACA fix, no amnesty, no anything else going on regarding amnesty in any further bills passing out of Congress this week and before the Christmas recess. The House and the Senate need to focus on building the wall, funding all enforcement operations of the federal government to stop amnesty, protect Americans, and ensure the quality and sovereignty of the United States from foreign invaders and domestic enemies.

Tax reform has passed, and may get another vote based on a few reports that the House bill needs to remove some parts which cannot pass based on budget reconciliation rules in the United States Senate.

At any rate, there were 12 House Republicans who voted against the tax reform.

Who are they?

  • Dana Rohrabacher of California
  • Darrell Issa of California
  • Walter B. Jones of North Carolina
  • Frank A. LoBiondo of New Jersey
  • Christopher H. Smith of New Jersey
  • Leonard Lance of New Jersey
  • Rodney Frelinghuysen of New Jersey
  • Lee Zeldin of New York
  • Peter T. King of New York
  • Dan Donovan of New York
  • John J. Faso of New York
  • Elise Stefanik of New York

This is an old discussion, although there are fewer Republicans than last time. Tom McClintock of Northern California did vote for the final bill this time, most likely because the revised legislation out of conference.

The three states represented are high tax states, except for Walter Jones of North Carolina. He has continued his opposition to the bill because of deficits. The high tax states depend on SALT deductions, but why should the rest of the country foot the bill for these states' high tax profligacy?

My response to their opposition: Let the economy roll, and watch the extra funding come into the national coffers and make up for any of the deficits. This bill is definitely worth voting for, and worth ensuring that Republicans in both chambers stand a strong chance of retaining the majorities and continuing the MAGA Agenda.

Speaker Paul Ryan: Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Passes

The House Passed the Tax Cut and Jobs Act
This country has not rewritten its tax code since 1986. The powers of the status quo in Washington are so strong. Yet 227 men and women of this Congress broke through that today. We voted to cut your taxes, because it's time that the hardworking people of this country get a break.

ALIPAC Activists!

We monitor the actions of the pro-Amnesty groups that use sophisticated technologies and lots of George Soros money to push for Amnesty legislation. Right now, they have their supporters calling Paul Ryan to encourage him to work with Trump, Pelosi, and Schumer to pass DACA and Dream Act Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. PLEASE CALL THE NUMBERS BELOW TO COUNTER THE MOVES OF THE AMNESTY POWER GROUPS!

Trump will release a statement soon that will have all of the enforcement provisions he wants to see in a "Comprehensive" Amnesty bill that will include Amnesty for illegals and enforcement measures. The problem is that no sane American should have any expectation any new immigration enforcement laws will ever be enforced. Telling Americans they may get a wall or other security measures in return for Amnesty is merely sugar to help the poison go down.

We know that the moment any new immigration bill containing any form of Amnesty is signed into law all pretenses of enforcing our laws and borders will begin to decrease not increase. That is what happened with Reagan's 86 Amnesty where they said it was for 1 million illegals, but they gave Amnesty to 3 million and then failed to enforce any of the security measures in the bill. That is how America ended up with 12-20 million more illegal aliens, and that is HOW CALIFORNIA WAS CHANGED FROM REPUBLICAN RED TO PERMANENT DEMOCRAT BLUE!

Trump is not enforcing our current immigration laws on more than 90% of the illegal aliens in America now, and we have all watched our laws go unenforced for 16 years under Bush and Obama. Why would anyone believe that new immigration laws would be enforced?

TAKE ACTION NOW TO HAMMER GOP LEADERS RYAN & McConnell & TRUMP

(Calls are the most important followed by written correspondence)

Call/write these leaders to say...

"NO AMERICAN IN THEIR RIGHT MIND BELIEVES ANY NEW IMMIGRATION LAWS WILL BE ENFORCED AND NEVER WILL BE IF YOU INCLUDE ANY FORM OF DACA, DREAM ACT, OR COMPREHENSIVE AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS IN A BILL. STOP ALL ATTEMPTS TO GIVE AMNESTY TO ILLEGAL ALIENS AND START ENFORCING AMERICA's EXISTING LAWS AGAINST ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AS OUR CONSTITUTION REQUIRES! NO AMNESTY. ILLEGALS GO HOME."

More Winning: Amnesty-Panderer House Rep Backs off DACA Discharge Petition

I have repeated my views on this many times.'

I do not worry about what the President says, or what the headlines report him saying in any major newspaper or news site, even if it's Breitbart, Townhall.com. Young Cons, or The Daily Signal.

I am interested in what he does. I follow what his staffers do. His executive orders matters, his signatures on key pieces of legislation matter. His leadership decisions matter.

So, President Trump can say on Twitter that he will renege on building a wall and open the borders for everyone in the world to come to the United States.

But it does not matter what he says. It matters what he does--and what he is doing about illegal immigration. A new report indicates that the Department of Homeland Security has issued a memo to all DACA recipients that they must prepare to leave the country.

Actions matter, memoranda matter, executive actions matter--and those actions are fully in line with enforcing our immigration laws and placing priority need and focus on American citizens.

God bless Donald Trump!

Now there's more good news, even out of Congress.

Wobbly Republican Mike Coffman of Colorado wanted to launch a discharge petition to have his DACA extension bill voted on.

But now he has backed off--likely because the votes were never going to be there, and Speaker Paul Ryan doesn't want to be forced further into a corner exposing his own fecklessness on this issue.

Rep. Mike Coffman (R-Colo.) said Thursday that he won’t pursue an effort to force a vote on his bill to extend work permits and deferred deportations for young undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children.

Good!

Coffman said he made an agreement with Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) to hold off on gathering support for his discharge petition for the bill, which would extend protections under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program for three years.

The media firestorm that has already erupted should make it crystal clear to anyone paying attention that theis Congress--like every Congress--will not tempt or play with the wrath of the American voters.

Men and women in this country do not want illegal immigration--it's that simple. They do not want amnesty--they have announced their opposition over and over again.

Coffman filed the discharge petition on Tuesday, which would need 218 signatures to trigger a House floor vote. Discharge petitions are typically used by the House minority party to bring attention to legislation ignored by the majority-party leadership — but are rarely successful.

Democrats are so busy still trying to demagogue this issue. They don't want to lose this emotional bargaining chip. They have never wanted to solve the immigration isssues with any kind of reform. All the way to to do is shame Republicans and middle-income working Americans to consolidate their corrupt hold on power.

Shame  on them! The Democratic Party created this illegal immigration mess. The Republican Party must style itself as the champion of working Americans and the national security for every citizen. They can take charge and enforce the law, without equivocation or guilt.

URGENT! Call President Trump and GOP Leaders - Build the Wall NOW!

Please keep calling and emailing the White House and your Republican congress member and senators.  The single issue that got President Trump elected was his promise to secure our borders and end illegal immigration.   “Build that Wall” was his top campaign theme and now he's caving to Paul Ryan and his open border RINO ilk in Congress who refuse to fund our border security.
