Nearly a decade ago, the Senate minority leader spoke out against illegal immigration. In those days, Democrats still tried to play up their working-class American credentials.

Now they care about illegal aliens, foreign nationals, Wall Street Cronies, and Corporate abusers.

Check out this video, and then ask yourself: "How much long do these Democrats in Washington think that they can get away with lying to the American people about their true political intentions?"

They don't have many principles left, that's for sure.

President Trump on Immigration: 3-D Chess All the Way

For the last two weeks, since the Schumer Shutdown went down in epic defeat for the minority Democratic caucus, the President through his White House team has been issuing some strange intimations about DACA and immigration reform.

His first discussion outlined a need for a fix of some kind. That proposal was rebuffed, and then the Democrats moved in for the kill to shut the government down, demanding a clean DREAM Act, as though illegal aliens in our country deserve citizenship because they have screamed and yelled loud enough.

I do not want our President rewarding bad behavior, and the vast majority of Americans were unhappy with Democrats taking extraordinary steps to shut down the government for illegals. Even Democrats in California shared with me their displeasure.

Democrats overplayed their hand, and they did it just to warm up their base. The whole has massively backfired. The United We Dream, George Soros funded Nightmares are harassing lawmakers even more, and registered Democrats are ditching their affiliation. They wanted their party to put up a fight and win.

They didn't even put up much of a fight.

Some of the most ardent Trump supporters, however, started getting worried when Trump went from granting some kind of legal status to going for full-on amnesty for 1.8 million illegals, DACA recipients as well as young illegals who have not taken advantage of the program.

What good has come out of these proposals?

First of all, a lot of well-meaning conservatives who were sympathetic to the DACA cause have now dropped their support for the illegal alien nightmares. Their behavior is so bad, and the media has covered their disruptive temper tantrums so much, that they have hurt their cause even more in the public eye.

President Trump has been playing 3-D chess this whole time. He was waiting for the Democrats to show all their cards, that they are so delusional, out-of-touch with the will of the voters and the needs of the country, that they would double down and demand amnesty only, while ignoring the needs of securing our borders and enforcing our immigration laws to the fullest.

The Democratic Party proved to the world that they are the party of illegal aliens, not American citizens. They are putting the needs of foreign nationals ahead of our military, too. President Trump played the Senate Democrats like a harp from hell. Ten of them are up for re-election this year in states which Trump or Trump and Romney won in the last two election cycles.

Let's just say that Trump is pushing them further and further into a corner, where they have to sweat through political headwinds hurting their standing before the public. Not only that, but the Republican Congress can take great pride that their tax reform package is working miracles for working Americans and businesses. Better yet, Trump can point to his energy policy which has worked wonders for the country, too.

What do Democrats have? Obstruction and anti-Americanism.

CNN is now reporting that there will probably be no DACA deal at all, since Democrats spent what little political capital they had over the abortive shutdown. They are now voting in some rigorously bad patterns, against one piece of common sense legislation after another. It's not doing them any good.

This month, Debbie Stabenow taught us a lot about her.

When Senate Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer, chose to shutdown the government over a noncontroversial budget for the sole purpose of delivering a political embarrassment to Republicans, Debbie could have done the right thing.

She could have chosen to stand with Michigan’s children, veterans, military families, and senior citizens.

Instead, Debbie Stabenow chose Chuck Schumer and D.C. Democrats. Was it worth it?

Two days later, when they realized their despicable PR strategy had failed miserably, and Americans overwhelmingly saw through the transparent political charade, Democrats were the ones who got embarrassed.

Democrats came crying back to the table, finally allowing President Trump and the Republican Congress to do their job and fund the government.

Michiganders deserve better than the cheap political games that Debbie has learned during her 21 years in Washington. The Senate is broken, and she isn’t trying to fix it.

The Other Demographic Demise Democrats Should Worry About (Extended Musings)

“I like right-to-work better.” Donald Trump, February 2016

The #SchumerShutdown fight whimpered out when Democrats realize they had no chance of winning public support for their open-borders bigotry. Democrats have won sizeable influence in states where they have rushed in with mass migration (Virginia) and illegal immigration (California, Colorado). But this massive setback is hurting their future election chances. This loss to shape the country’s demographics has covered up another fight that Democrats are losing in great number. A leaked internal memo showed that Democrats depend on a fresh supply of third-world immigrants, legal and illegal, in order to maintain any kind of voter hegemony.

There’s another demographic which Democrats are losing: labor unions. Stalwart allies for the progressive liberal cause, labor unions buoyed Democrats’ political careers. Minority leader Chuck Schumer owes his US Senate Seat to the labor unions who helped him crush incumbent Republican Al D’Amato in 1998, for example.

Why are Democrats losing labor union support now?

The first reason rests on the pro-American, pro-economic growth agenda of the President. Union members reported their disdain with Hillary Clinton’s opposition to mining and manufacturing while pursuing progressive social goals, like flooding the labor market with cheap labor and prioritizing the fate of trees ahead of teamsters. Barack Obama had not curried favor with organized labor, enough that union presidents hosted their own convention instead of attending the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Public safety unions have tended to support Republican candidates, since they stress law and order. The Border Patrol union as well as police unions across the country stood behind Trump, who supported then.

Democrats are also losing labor support, however, because Big Labor as a whole is in decline, especially in their political influence. Organized labor is facing greater roadblocks to their political process because labor unions face declining membership or declining political influence. In Southern states, labor union membership has gained somewhat, but mostly because of the manufacturing explosion. This trend should prove, however, that right-to-work legislation does not mean the utter demise of labor unions in any state.

Collective bargaining reforms have chipped away at their political power so assiduously, that their formidable pre-eminence in statewide elections has fallen dramatically. The progressive “journal” The Nation released an article detailing how Republican efforts, with considerable investment from conservative pro-liberty groups have taken down the aggressive abuse of the labor movement, which donates 90% of its union funding to Democratic candidates.

For the last 2 years, I've pointed out how the right-to-work movement was a big part of the reason why president Trump did so well in the Rust Belt states. The Nation article points out that Democratic voter turnout declined by an average of 3.5% following right-to-work legislation’s passage. Despite the most vocal efforts, Democrats are ignoring this downward trend at their peril.

Mass migration has become a non-started for keeping Democratic numbers propped up. As labor unions walk away from Democratic candidates, because they actually want a thriving economy which benefits American workers and not just international corporate executives, Democrats have moved toward the bi-coastal elites and their technocratic minions. Silicon Valley and Hollywood are the major cash cows for Democratic candidates. Hillary Clinton learned, however, that money cannot by an election.

The biggest reason why Scott Walker was my first choice for president was that he withstood the Big Labor Onslaught, winning three Statewide elections in four years. The collective bargaining reforms were crucial to diminishing the Progressive Movement in Wisconsin, the home of progressive politics. Even though Walker was not successful in the presidential primaries, his reforms both of collective bargaining and the right to work law he passed in 2015, helped ensure that a Republican would win the dairy State for the first time in over 30 years.

Those same reforms also moved Michigan into the GOP column. Granted, many analysts have argued that Hillary Clinton didn't get the turnout she wanted in those States, and the voter percentage decreased in Michigan and Wisconsin. One factor many of these analysts have left out is that the Big labor movement wasn't there to get them out to vote.

Right-to-work legislation has passed in 28 states. The provision is currently on-hold in Missouri since labor unions mobilized to place a statewide initiative repealing the law on the ballot. Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, who campaigned to victory on right-to-work, is facing his own PR nightmare following exposure of an extramarital affair two years ago, coupled with allegations of revenge porn blackmail. Will the negative veneer and the supposed Blue Wave backlash to Trump and Congressional Republicans hurt the labor reform in the Show Me State?

I doubt it. Labor unions cannot rely on the multimillions from labor unions in Rust Belt states. Workers are enjoying the benefits of labor reforms freeing up workers to join or not to join. Not only that, but the pro-worker policies have forced unions to serve their members, rather than serving themselves in the pursuit of raw yet elitist political power.

Election 2016 was not only a victory for Trump, but other statehouses gained GOP trifectas for the first time in decades. Within two months, Iowa’s GOP-controlled state legislature enacted sweeping collective bargaining reforms, similar to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s Act 10 reforms. Iowa is already a right-to-work state, but the taxpayer burden of public sector unions requires more stringent legislative remedies.

Collective bargaining reforms have rolled out in other states, too, without the official right-to-work policy. In Maine, retiring governor Paul LePage worked out a new contract where the largest state employee union agreed to a pay rise, and in exchange the contract includes a comprehensive right-to-work provision. This measure will ensure that the Pine Tree State maintains its more purple brand of politics going forward.

This year, local and county governments have taken the lead on right-to-work reforms, despite vocal, menacing labor opposition. Sussex County, Delaware flirted with the reform, but organizational and legal pressure forced the county commissioners to back away from them proposal. This setback didn’t discourage the town of Seaford from going forward with their own ordinance. Despite mixed reactions to the policy change, at least one city will have a competitive investment advantage. Sandoval County, New Mexico also enacted a right-to-work provision. Past legal challenges to local right-to-work ordinances have met mixed outcomes, but have been upheld more than not. The economic and political consequences will come forth in the next year or two. Other blue states are entering the RTW column, too.

Ohio Governor John Kasich topped Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s reforms, but organized labor repealed those efforts by initiative in 2011. Republican supermajorities in Columbus have rewed their push for right-to-work, but the voters may decide the issue in 2020.

Big Labor is meeting further challenges at the federal level, too. President Trump has successfully appointed a pro-worker RTW majority to the National Labor Relations Board. Renewed interest in a national right-to-work law has encouraged Congressmen to submit legislation, and libertarian-leaning Republican Rand Paul has offered the same. Much of these piecemeal reforms and successes may become moot following a ruling in Janus v. AFSCME. The court could strike down the right of compelled agency fees from public workers, which would enact de facto right-to-work as a national policy.

Labor unions which cannot compel membership as a condition of employment will lose an easy revenue stream which has benefitted Democratic politicians for decades. This maneuver could turn purple states red and make blue states more competitive for Republicans who have struggled to compete because of Big Labor’s fundraising prowess. Despite two major Democratic opportunities for long-term pro-labor reforms, unions have seen Democrats taking them for granted. Now they may not have unions at all.

Democrats are losing the demographic battle over immigration. The demise of Big Labor could ensure, in the words of Grover Norquist that “the modern Democratic Party will cease to be a competitive power in American politics.”

Correction: #SchumerShutdown Was Major GOP Win This Way, too

I was looking over the latest iteration of the HR 195 continuing resolution which passed out of the US earlier this week.

I had believed that it would fund our military and provide six more years of CHIP funding, but did not include the delay of onerous Obamacare taxes.

I was wrong. The HR 195 that passed out of the US Senate was adjusted so that the government funding would continue for three weeks instead of four.

Other than that, the Republicans got everything they wanted, evertything which they had placed in the original House Continuing Resolution way before.

I wanted to correct that, and do another touchdown dance, if you will, in the political endzone.

Cryin' Chuck is a lyin' schmuck, and his left-wing base is eating him alive over this failure.

That's the way it should be!

Will The #SchumerShutdown Shut Down Democratic Hopes For 2018?

Election 2018 is going to be just as turbulent an election season as 2016. An enlightened or enraged electorate will be rushing to the polls this year, elated or outraged with Washington DC and President Trump’s agenda.

I am confident that Republicans will retain the United States Senate. Democrats must defend 23 seats, plus two liberal Independents who face different challenges in their own states. Republicans will gain seats even in the face of “The Blue Wave” since Democrats nationally have gone so far left, and the progressive grassroots wants Obama policies on steroids from the Democratic Party. Then again, Democrats are energized, especially for this off-year election, and their momentum is growing.

Red State Democrats, especially in the states won by Republican Presidential candidates in the last three elections, will lose. They face incredible pressure from their conservative constituents, and yet the Democratic base will fire back because these DINOs (Democrats In Name Only) will fire back, even launch primary challenges because Senators Joe Manchin, Heidi Heitkamp, etc. are voting like Republicans on certain key issues.

The House of Representatives, however, is turning into an incumbent horror story. Republicans have held power in the People’s Chamber for the last 8 years, but the caucus has already ditched one House Speaker. Paul Ryan has finally learned to listen to the conservatives and the grassroots, but with the latest shutdown, they risk appearing more dysfunctional than ever. Then again, the House will receive blame on the surface, since all appropriations bills must originate in the House. Even though in 2016 Trump won in 12 House Districts currently represented by Democrats, there is no certainty that his populist platform will buoy Republican contenders for 2018. Aside from Congressman Tim Waltz of Minnesota, who is retiring to run for Governor, incumbent Democrats are running for re-election.

Worse yet, Real Clear Politics polling has registered a 10-point to 16-points advantage for the Democratic ticket going into November. The overwhelming turnout for the Year 2018 Women’s March all over the country should also concern Republicans. They are not only ready to win big in their districts, but they are investing time, energy, resources to flip other districts. In California, Republican House mainstays Darrell Issa and Ed Royce have announced retirement, and sources indicate that Duncan Hunter will be retiring, too.

All over the Women’s March in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday, I saw so many posters featuring profanities, vulgar attacks against President Trump and the Republican majority, but I also saw frequent references to vote, vote, vote. “Blue wave” stood out, as well. President Trump needs to ramp up his rallies and campaign stops this year to counteract this political momentum, and fast.

Of course, the Democratic plans for a winning takeover in the House have hit a brick wall. The federal government needed a continuing resolution by January 19^th to ensure payment for federal employees, our military, a long-term solution for the CHIP program, and even a much-needed delay of onerous Obamacare taxes. Only six House Democrats voted for the CR (including California Congressmen Jim Costa and Salud Carbajal of California, interestingly enough). But every other Democratic House Rep essentially voted for a shutdown.

The US Senate Minority Leader, however, is getting much of the abuse from the public, and he deserves it. He cried to the press that the majority of his caucus was not on board t funding the government for another month unless amendments were including to grant legal status to illegal aliens under the now-retired DACA program.

In essence, Senate Democrats are shutting down the government over illegal immigration. Surprisingly, this talking point came from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a get-along type if there ever was one. Not only that, but Speaker Paul Ryan informed House Leadership to go home for the weekend. Two leaders are actually calling the Democrats’ bluff. I don’t give them full credit, however. Real leadership under President Trump in the White House has stiffened the spine of Congressional leaders, at least somewhat.

Democratic opposition to a clean CR is not going well for them, and it’s only going to get worse, and we can draw some inspiration to predict this Schumer Shutdown Showdown from 2013. Republicans only controlled the House, and they passed a CR which included defunding mechanisms for Obamacare. Then Speaker John Boehner didn’t want to go along with it at first, but the caucus pushed him to follow through. Yes, the government was shut down, but for the same reason as now: Democrats would not pass the CR. Majority Leader Harry Reid was probably confident that he could marshal public opinion against the Republicans. One target was US Senator Ted Cruz, who led a 22-hour non-filibuster filibuster outlining to the public how devastating Obamacare had become to working Texans. Eventually, a resolution was reached, and Republicans ended up scraped a little in the press.

Then came the Obamacare roll-out, a devastating failure. Couple that with the upcoming six-year itch against Barack Obama’s Democrats, and Republicans were riding a wave into victory for Election 2014. So, can Democrats expect a lingering backlash in their favor for this year?

I strongly doubt it. First of all, President Trump was elected specifically for his strong stance on immigration. Democrats are on the losing side of this debate by shutting down the government over illegals. Even fellow Democrats in California have voiced their opposition to this measure, regardless of their take on DACA. What’s worse, however, is that Trump’s first signature legislative achievement is actually gaining in popularity. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is working out well for businesses large and small. Individuals are seeing and enjoying the benefits which the media and Demcorats have been diminishing, denying, or outright lying about.

The Democrats have shut down the government, and Chuck Schumer, with signature tone-deafness, offers his website visitors a pitiful “Sorry, can’t help you right now” message on his website. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi takes her dwindling caucus for a night on the town. When the funding issues have been resolved three weeks later, Americans will return to appreciate Trump’s signature successes, and Democrats will have lower approval ratings going into November.

If Republicans stand strong against amnesty and hold the #SchumerShutdown meme over the minority caucus, then Republicans can look forward to holding the House as well as gaining the US Senate. The GOP leaders should be kissing President Trump’s feet because he has put his foot down, willing to fight for the American people’s priorities on immigration.

I predict that Democrats are going to be kicking themselves for going along with their radical, progressive base on immigration, suffer a national blowback, and lose further credibility in the eyes of the voters. Democrats who voted for Trump will remember why they rejected their party’s presidential nominee in 2016 and vote again them again in 2018.

Prediction: The #SchumerShutdown will shut down Democratic chances for election 2018. Republicans will lose at the most ten House seats, but retain power in the House of Representatives.

Bad Idea: DACA Nightmares Block Entrance to Disneyland

Wow. The desperation has gone from bad to worse to just plain hilarious!

I cannot believe that the DACA Nightmares would pull a stunt like this. Do they really think that they are winning supporters over to their side when they prevent law-abiding citizens and visitors from all over the world from entering a theme park?

Beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and their allies temporarily blocked a vehicle entrance to Disneyland on Monday, just as the Senate reached an agreement to end the government shutdown brought on in part by a stalemate over the young immigrants' future.

The bias cannot be ignored. "Beneficiaries"? Realy?!

The timing could not have been worse, since the US Senate voted to fund the government and end the unpopular shutdown.

The DACA recipients, commonly called Dreamers, stood in a crosswalk at South Harbor Boulevard around 10 a.m. and blocked buses from entering the Anaheim theme park. The 15 protesters were quickly removed by law enforcement officers and were relocated to a sidewalk, where they held signs and chanted, "No dream! No deal!"

They are not "Dreamers"--they are Nightmares, and they are proving it. They are simply showing how arrogant, spoiled, and entitled they have become.

They do not deserve anything, and this country owes them nothing.

By 10:40 a.m., the protesters had left the area.

That didn't last long, just like the Schumer Shutdown!

"The group is only about 20 people, who have been peaceful. Disneyland is operating as normal today," Disneyland spokeswoman Suzi Brown said in an email.

The government shutdown began at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time Saturday when Democrats in the Senate, joined by a handful of Republicans, blocked a House-passed bill to temporarily fund the government for four weeks.

Democrats and Republicans are at a stalemate over several issues, especially the future of the DACA program, which has protected nearly 800,000 young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children.

The stalemate is a false talking point. The United States federal government owes nothing to these illegals. They need to blame Barack Obama and the Democratic Party for lying to this cohort of illegal aliens. They never intended to do anything about illegal immigration and the growing population of illegal aliens. Barack Obama had spoken forcefully against illegal aliens in 2007 and had voted for the wall.

Then he changed his tune and created two unconstitutional programs to divide the country while promoting illegals. This is all wrong, and the Democratic Party is paying the price.

Senate leaders on Monday morning reached an agreement to end the shutdown by passing a stopgap spending bill and committing to tackle the issue of immigration before the next deadline, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-New York) said Monday.

Activists with the #OurDream coalition — a group of immigrants' rights organizations — say their protest was meant to pressure Congress to not pass a spending bill until the Dreamers are protected. They said they were tired of "unfulfilled promises" by legislators to settle the matter.

American Dreams matter, and American Lives Matter, not illegal aliens.

Barbara Hernandez, a 26-year-old DACA recipient from Santa Ana, said protesting in front of Disneyland was symbolic.

"It's where dreams come true," she said. "But we're not on vacation anymore. We're still waiting for our dreams to come true."

Yes, their demonstration is symbolic--symbolic of their entitlement mentality hurting this country. They are losing this fight, and American Dreams are going to bounce back stronger than before.

Hernandez said she knew blocking the street could make traffic worse or cause an inconvenience for people. But disruption, she said, is something the Dreamers have become accustomed to.

Yes, and the American people are getting tired of it. They are proving once again that they are not "Dreamers", but Nightmares, racist bigots and entitled adult children who are trying to ruin this country. They do not love the United States of America. They just love the easy money and relative quiescence.

Not OK.

"It's something we go through every day of our lives," she said. "There is always something blocking us from moving forward."

One woman walking by the theme park shouted at the protesters, "I'm going to call my member of Congress today!"

Good! So will I, and I will call every other member of Congress whom I can alert and tell them to reject every possible form of amnesty or DACA fix or anything else in that arena. This is all wrong, for elected officials to ignore their oaths of office and put the needs of illegal aliens ahead of American citizens.

The woman, who would only give her first name, Carmen, said she supported the activists and thought the minor inconvenience of having to wait to get into Disneyland didn't bother her.

Yes, but I am certain that their disruptive behaviors bothered many others, and voters across the country are getting tired of this nonsense.

A few minutes later, Dusty Roads, of Phoenix, tried to navigate his family past the protesters standing under the Disneyland sign at the park's east entrance.

"What do we want?" the activists shouted.

"We want you to go home," he told them. "We want you to move."

BAM! Head on home, Nightmares, back to your home countries.

Roads, who also disapproved of the massive women's marches over the weekend, said he didn't know the details of the protest but that he found it annoying.

"It's America," he said. "We don't need that stuff. We don't need to protest. All it does is create hate."

Dafne S., a DACA recipient from Los Angeles, said in a statement that "Congress members shouldn't recklessly gamble with the lives of undocumented youth."

"The vast majority of the American public supports the DREAM Act without anything in exchange. We will not stand by while members of our community are forced deeper into the shadows," she said

No, the  majority of Americans DO NOT support this program. They want the borders secure, they want the nation's immigration laws enforced. When Americans learn all the details about DACA recipients and the massive cost to the country, they change their tune quickly.

Claudia Treminio, a Los Angeles DACA recipient, called the stalemate a "wasteful attempt to appease Trump's racist base" and a "way to bankroll his corporate backers."

Calling voters "Racist" is not going to win supporters. Not working.

"We will not stay silent as President Trump and members of Congress use us as bargaining chips to build a border wall," she said.

Final Reflection

I am surprised that the LA TImes reported different opinions about the DACA recipients preventing men and women from entering Disneyland.

Oh, and let's not forget the children who dream about going to the Happiest Place on Earth, too. I wonder how the children felt that they could not get into the amusement park as soon as teir parents brought them in.

Shame on these arrogant, entitled Nightmares. Cryin' Chuck Schumer is now Lyin' Chuck, since he and Alzheimer's Nancy Pelosi have promised over and over that they will get a clean DREAM Act passed in the House, in the US Senate, or just about anywhere or everywhere they can.

What a joke. They don't have majority power in either chamber, and Doug Jones stunning upset is not giving Democrats any edge, since he will turn into a DINO really quickly. All the left-wing, George Soros talk to mobilize the base in Alabama is not going to work out for the left-wing progressives who are determined to turn the United States into a third-world hell-hole.

The Democrats in the US Senate had pledged to do everything they could to ensure a DREAM Act or some kind of DACA Fix. Never happened. Twice now the Democratic Party has disappointed their illegal alien base, by and large because illegal aliens cannot (or at least should not) vote.

What is it with the Democratic Party? They have lost their minds, they have lost any kind of strength and independence. They have turned into the party of illegal aliens, DACA Brats, and Nightmare Kids.

And the illegals are not going to let minority leader Chuck Schumer forget it!
