Victory: Trump Withdraws from Bad Iran Deal

Senate Conservatives Fund
“The Iran Deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.” – President Donald J. Trump

Arthur:

President Trump announced his decision today to withdraw the United States from the Iran deal and to re-impose sanctions that were lifted under the agreement.

This is a major victory for America's national security interests and President Trump should be applauded for his leadership.

The Iran deal enriched an evil regime that lied about its efforts to develop nuclear weapons, and supports terrorist groups that are hostile to America and our allies.

Please take a moment to send the president an email thanking him for making this important decision.

As you know, President Trump will be criticized for this by liberals in Congress and in the media. It's important that we communicate our support for his conservative policies. When shows leadership like this, he needs to know that we have his back.

Click here to send an instant message to the White House.

Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to help us work against this failed agreement.

Now we must work together to support President Trump's efforts to secure our borders. Too many Republicans in Congress are dragging their feet on this and putting our nation at risk.

Sincerely,

Senate Conservatives Fund: Help Build a Conservative Senate for 2018

The Senate Conservatives Fund is rearing up for Election 2018. This year will be a wild year in national as well as statewide politics.

The US Senate has accomplished one major goal, comprehensive tax reform, including a vastly reduced corporate tax rate, lower tax rates for individual filers, too.

But the Senate Conservatives Fund has not relented in their fight for a more conservative US Senate, one which accomplishes a number of set policy agendas and promises.

Senate Conservatives Fund

Arthur:

Despite passing a few good things this year, the Senate failed to address many of our nation's biggest problems.

Federal spending is out of control, our borders have not been secured, Obamacare is increasing health insurance premiums, and our aging entitlement programs are unsustainable.

The Senate is broken because it's filled with politicians who are unwilling to fight for conservative principles.

We have a big opportunity to change that next year by electing strong leaders to the Senate who will keep their promises and honor their oath to support and defend the Constitution.

SCF has endorsed four new candidates for the Senate and they need your support before the reporting deadline at the end of the year. These candidates are Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Josh Mandel (R-OH), and Matt Rosendale (R-MT).

Please make a contribution to these candidates today.

You can donate to multiple candidates with one easy online transaction. SCF will pay all processing costs and transfer 100% of your candidate donations directly to their campaigns.

The 2018 elections will kick into high gear in January and it's very important for each of these candidates to have strong fundraising reports to help build momentum for their campaigns.

We've set a goal of raising $100,000 by the end of the year for SCF and our candidates and you can help us reach it by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, or more.

Please help us build a conservative Senate by donating today.

Thank you for supporting the principles of freedom that make America great. Together, we will secure America's future.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

SCF: Tennesse US Senate Race Heats Up

Senate Conservatives Fund
Phil Bredesen (D-TN)
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)

Arthur:

Former Governor Phil Bredesen (D-TN), the last Democrat to win a statewide election in Tennessee, announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate earlier this week.

Bredesen is the Democrat's top recruit and many observers believe he could win the race. If that happens, the Democrats will gain a seat that could help them retake control of the Senate.

The stakes are very high.

If Bredesen wins this race, he will be a vote and a voice for the reckless spending, bailouts, and debt that are bankrupting our country. He will also prevent President Trump from securing our borders, repealing Obamacare, and draining the swamp!

Please join us in supporting U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee.

If elected to the Senate, Marsha Blackburn will:
  • Continue to fight to repeal Obamacare
  • Fight to protect the unborn
  • Fight to protect our Second Amendment rights
  • Fight to cut wasteful spending
  • Fight to enact significant tax relief
  • Support President Trump’s immigration ban and work with him to build the wall
This race is extremely important for the entire country and I hope you will support this outstanding candidate.

Marsha Blackburn can defeat Phil Bredesen, but she will need financial support from freedom-loving Americans everywhere.

Please donate $25, $50, $100 or any amount up to $5,400 to Marsha Blackburn's U.S. Senate campaign.

SCF will pay all processing costs and transfer 100% of your donation directly to her campaign.

Donating to Marsha Blackburn through SCF is the best way to support her campaign. She saves on fundraising costs and actually gets to spend more of your donation on voter contact AND she will know that conservatives are standing with her in this critical fight.

This is one of the most important Senate races in the country and I hope you will lock arms with the grassroots in Tennessee and help push Marsha Blackburn on to victory.

Thank you for your generous support.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

SCF: No Obamacare Bailouts! Beware!

Senate Conservatives Fund
Arthur:

As you know, the Senate has included the repeal of Obamacare's individual mandate penalty in its version of the tax reform bill.

This is nowhere near the full "root and branch" repeal that voters were promised, but it will provide tax relief to millions of Americans who don't want to buy Obamacare insurance. This is very good.

However, this provision was added to the tax reform bill as part of a deal struck by Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) with moderate Republicans that also includes passing a separate bill giving bailout payments to health insurance companies.

This must be stopped!

Rather than lowering premiums by eliminating regulations, many Republicans would rather try to do it by subsidizing insurance companies. President Obama tried this and it failed miserably.

Also, once Congress starts bailing out insurance companies, the bailouts will never end. Liberals in both parties will forever call for more money to "stabilize" the marketplace.

Repealing the individual mandate tax is good, but trading that repeal for insurance bailouts is not. If Republicans want to lower premiums, they should repeal the benefit regulations. That is what they promised and that is what will solve the problem.

Under no circumstance should Congress ever approve bailouts for insurance companies. This is socialism and it will only make it harder for Americans to get access to quality health care.

The Senate is expected to begin debate on the tax reform bill next week and every conservative in the country must be ready to stop bailouts for Obamacare.

We will continue to monitor the debate and let you know what you can do to make sure it moves in the right direction.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

Trump vs. McConnell -- Ditch Mitch!

Senate Conservatives Fund
Trump vs. McConnell

Arthur,

Mitch McConnell picked a fight with Donald Trump when he publicly slapped the president for having "excessive expectations" when it comes to the Senate's legislative accomplishments.

This was a big mistake because the president predictably punched back, highlighting the fact that it was Mitch McConnell who had set the expectations with empty promises.

But rather than learning his lesson, McConnell sought retribution by siding with liberals in the media in attacking the president's response to the events in Charlottesville.

You see, if McConnell has a chance to paint a political enemy as a racist, he will take it. Just look at what he did to Republican Chris McDaniel in the 2014 Mississippi Senate race.

The president clearly wasn't amused so he fired back in a way that strikes fear in the hearts of the GOP establishment. He praised the primary opponent of an incumbent Republican.

As SCF supporters know, this is viewed by McConnell and the other alligators in the swamp as a formal declaration of war.

It didn't take long for McConnell's former chief of staff to urge Republicans to leave the president behind. You know, like McConnell left Darryl Glenn behind in the Colorado Senate race last year.

Next, it was Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) – Conservative Review Score 47%, Grade "F" – who challenged the president's "competence." This is the senator who helped approve President Obama's Iran nuclear deal without Senate ratification. How's that for competence?

Some Republicans may be tempted to side with McConnell, but he has failed to keep his promises and has foolishly picked a fight with the president that compromises his ability to lead the Senate.

Siding with McConnell against Trump also has major political consequences. A recent poll showed that 57 percent of Republican voters believe the president is more trustworthy than McConnell, who was backed by only 14 percent. Voters know that McConnell is part of the establishment and does not share their values.

It's time for Senate Republicans to thank McConnell for his service and elect a new leader who can help them enact conservative reforms and work with the president to drain the swamp.

Click here to send an email to Senate Republicans urging them to replace Mitch McConnell as the Republican leader.

They should do this in September when they return from their monthlong recess. There's no sense in wasting any more time with a leader who won't keep his promises.

Sincerely,

MitchCare Fails: Time for Full Repeal of Obamacare

The Senate Conservatives are working harder than ever.

They have the corrupt, spineless RINO Mitch McConnell on the ropes.

Whatever power he claimed to have, it's all disintegrating very uickly.

He has tried to push two crony, wasteful bills that went nowhere fast.

Now he has to heed the will of the voters and the President.

Check out what Trump released on Twitter today:
And check out the slow but steady victory rally of the Senate Conservatives Fund

Senate Conservatives Fund
Arthur,

Senator Mitch McConnell's plan to pass a bill that keeps some of the worst parts of Obamacare has failed. It's an embarrassing defeat for someone who portrays himself as a strategic genius.

After writing several versions of virtually the same flawed bill, McConnell signaled defeat yesterday by announcing that the Senate not vote on his bill, but will instead vote on the repeal bill that Republicans passed in 2015 and sent to President Obama's desk.

This is a significant victory for conservatives that opens the door to answering President Trump's call to repeal Obamacare first and then pass additional reforms later, if necessary.

But conservatives must remain engaged because the debate is not over and Senator McConnell and other liberal Republicans will likely offer amendments to rescue the worst parts of Obamacare.

We know they want to keep the regulations, some of the tax increases, the subsidies, and the insurance company bailout payments.

Please send an instant message to all 52 Senate Republicans urging them to pass full repeal of Obamacare.

Also, conservatives should be fully aware that McConnell is actually trying to kill repeal altogether. The coming debate is yet another production of "Failure Theater" where he will pretend to be working to pass something good when in truth he wants and intends for it to fail so he can move on to something else. Even worse, he will be looking for ways to blame conservatives for his own failure.

In this case, McConnell has already said that he's open to cutting a deal with the Democrats to bail out the failed law, which is exactly what moderate Republicans want because it gives them political cover. Because of McConnell's failed leadership, these moderate Republicans have no incentive to repeal Obamacare outside of the pressure that you put on them.

Conservatives have won the initial battle to stop McConnell from passing a bill that continues Obamacare, but the war for repeal is not even close to being over.

Please contact Senate Republicans and urge them to repeal the law first and pass any other reforms later.

This is what they promised to do and this is what will help improve our health care system.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

The battle has been won, but the war is long from over.

Make sure to send the message loud and clear to EVERY US Senate.

"Repeal Obamacare! Uproot it root and branch for good and forever."

McConnell Wants to Bail Out Obamacare? Time to Bail on McConnell!

White House surprised by McConnell's reversal.
Can't read this? Click here.
Senate Conservatives Fund

Fellow Conservative:

Since Senator Mitch McConnell has nowhere near enough votes to pass his health care bill, he is now calling for a deal with the Democrats to bail out Obamacare.

This is exactly the opposite of what McConnell promised to do and it shows, once again, that he never opposed Obamacare.

McConnell's strategy rejects the common sense consumer choice option proposed by Senator Ted Cruz as well as President Trump's fallback strategy of repeal now, replace later. The president's plan would bring premiums down while Republicans build consensus for additional health care reforms.

Senator McConnell hasn't even tried to repeal Obamacare and yet he's already eyeing another liberal deal that rewards his cronies while hurting American taxpayers.

This is why we supported Matt Bevin in the 2014 primary election against Mitch McConnell and it's why we believe his time as the Republican leader needs to end.

Help us fight back.

We aren't afraid to speak out about his failed leadership and fight for effective leadership in the Senate.

Americans elected an anti-establishment outsider like President Trump because they are disgusted with politicians who break their promises and put special interests ahead of hardworking Americans.

We will continue to fight to promote conservative policies and to elect courageous conservatives who will stand up to liberal career politicians like Mitch McConnell.

If you want to help bring about real change in Washington, please make a contribution to SCF today.

With your support, we will help stop Mitch McConnell's liberal deals and then replace him as the Republican leader so Republicans can start to fulfill their campaign promises.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

Why I Support the Senate Conservatives Fund

Retired Attorney General Ken Cuccinnelli  of Virginia set up a new PAC to help fund conservative candidates for office in Washington DC.

His fund challenged Mitch McConnell in the 2014 primary, for example

Even though McConnell went onto the general election and another win, the process created a new conservative voice in Kentucy, and paved the way for Matt Bevin to become the next governor.

Other Senate Conservative Fund investments have enabled conservatives to win key House Seats during the 2017 special election series, too.

Check out what they sent me in the mail, too:

The letter is common place, but then they provide me two postcards for my two US Senators--and the envelopes are specifically addressed to them:

Notice the addresses to the US Senators

Finally, conservatives are learning to fight back and raise in the same way that the left, that progressives, that the Democratic Party has been fundraising then fighting all these years.

It's not enough to have the right ideas. Men and women of conservative conscience have to be willing to fight and win through an effective, unending process.
