The Torrance Democratic Club Becomes "The Arthur Schaper Fan Club"

When I had the chance, I used to watch "The Big Bang Theory."

One of my favorite episodes focused on Sheldon Cooper's deep rivalry with Wil Wheaton, who routinely ran rings around poor Sheldon.

At one point, Sheldon was so mad, he renamed his bowling team "The Wesley Crushers."

And when Wil Wheaton comes on the scene, he declares:

"Hey Look! They named their team after me!"

And in a way, that is precisely what the Torrance Democratic Club has done.

Of course, just like Sheldon Cooper, they write too much, and think too much, and don't have a real sense of wit or style.

They must really like me, since they insist on wearing my name on their shirts:

What can I say? They are slowly but surely changing the name of their club!

For those of you who cannot read the comments, here they are:

“Aurther Schapper LOGIC” = if the Southern Poverty Law Center proclaims your organization a hate group, you say, “Nuh-uh, the SPLC is a hate group for calling me a hate group.” And now you know how to play the game called “Aurther Schapper LOGIC” it’s a “fun” waste of time and energy. If you “call him out” for his anti-LGBTQ+ activities, it’s actually YOU that’s bullying him and YOU that hates “the gays” because you are preventing him from saving the sinners. A special target of his attacks is “Drag Queen Story Hour.” Is that why he wanted to be appointed to the Library Commission, so he could ban its non-existence in Torrance? 

Perhaps more “Aurther Schapper LOGIC” is the math he uses to explain that when he ran and lost to Asm. Al Muratsuchi with only 36% of the vote, it was BETTER than the previous guy who lost with 40% because that guy spent a lot of money to lose. 

But the best example of “Aurther Schapper LOGIC” is when he was the President of the local Republican club and because of his own behavior the organization charter was pulled by the LAGOP. But just because he fails to “play well” with those running the party, doesn’t mean he isn’t a true believer in Republican ideology and he will use “Aurther Schapper LOGIC” to twist it so that despite apparent racism in the GOP, HE is the one fighting against slavery by challenging CRT. 

He’s been using “Alternative Facts” way before Kellyanne ever coined the phrase. He currently has about 6 nesting doll type articles about the Torrance Community Group FB page on his blog. But this is nothing new, he’s been blogging about the TorranceDems for over a dozen years now. So much we had shirts* made. He says he lives “rent-free” in our heads, but I think it’s us Democrats who own the real estate beneath his red hat, we obviously were camping out in there long enough that he just had to write about us, over and over again. But that’s just more “Aurther Schapper LOGIC” if he writes about you and YOU reply, somehow you are the ones obsessed with him. It’s only “Aurther Schapper LOGIC.”

I am thrilled that the Torrance Democratic Club is accepting my arguments about the Alabama Hate Group known as "The Southern Poverty Law Center."

I am glad that they are renaming their club after me (little by little).

I am glad that they are accepting real logic, i.e. standing up to LGBT perversion is necessary.

I am certainly glad that they are willing to recognize that the Southern Poverty Law Center is a hate group.

Last of all, I can only hope that they learn to spell. It's too bad that they are so uneducated that they do not know how to write or spell properly.

So, to sum up:

Then there's "Having the penthouse in their head."

And then there's "Taking over their world."

I think the Torrance Democratic Club has pretty much given me the keys to the city, state, and country in their heads--rent free!

Haidar the Hypocrite Got Had in Mayor's Race, Smeared Tutor Who Helped Him Get Elected to City Council --- AND Still LOST!

In October of this year, I received an email from Mayor Alex Vargas of Hawthorne.

Just for sake of backround, Alex is a friend of mine. He has done great things for the city of Hawthorne, both as a city councilman and also as mayor. The city has a much better feel to it, and residents all over  have told me that they love living in the city. At the very least, they like the fact that for the first time in nearly thirty years, they have a Mayor whom they can be proud of, who is not stealing food mixers from school cafeterias, or violating campaign finance laws, or stiffing landlords and political consultants while demanding to get some more "hot sauce, hot sauce."

Well, as expected, Alex is going to get attacked for doing a good job. The Democratic Political machine in Hawthorne does not like him. His biggest opponent was Haidar Awad, a city councilman who was elected in 2015, the same year that Alex Vargas became mayor.

And so they thought ... what better 

He then shared with me this hit piece against him in his bid for re-election as mayor of Hawthorne:

WOW! I feel almost ... flattered!

There's a picture of me with three Hispanic Republicans, including Ruben Barrales, who was elected to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and has helped other Hispanic Republicans get elected to office. There's my other friend Suzanne Fuentes, who served for two terms as Mayor of El Segundo. She's awesome.

How interesting indeed, that this hit piece targets me as "anti-immigrant", when at that meeting in particularly (March 2016 of the Beach Cities Republicans), a number of immigrants were in attendance, too! But more on that later.

Of coursed, at the end of it all, this was a stupid hit piece. Most people in the city of Hawthorne have NO IDEA who I am. I hardly know anybody in the city, besides Alex and a few other activists.

And the funniest part about this -- I was running for State Assembly at the same time, and no one cared! No one bothered to smear me or target me as anti-immigrant or confront about my stance on illegal immigration.

Of course, the bigger irony is ... I was Haidar's speech coach when he ran for Hawthorne City Council in 2015!

Here's the proof:

Five years ago, I was working as a tutor for Tutor Doctor, based in Redondo Beach. Initially, I worked as a math tutor for Haidar's younger brother Hamza.

Then the company asked me to help Haidar himself with his speaking skills, since he was interested in running for city council in the city of Hawthorne!

And help him, I did!

And you know what the biggest irony of all is?

Haidar's parents are both immigrants! They both hired me to serve as tutor for their two sons. They both said that I did good work, too!

So, I am anti-immigrant, but I was hired by two immigrants. Really.

The most vindicating outcome from all of this, however, is that Mayor Alex is still mayor Alex. He won big time! And he deserved it. The city of Good Neighbors remains in good hands.

Haidar lost big time, and he deserved it. He spent big money, too, and STILL LOST! He smeared someone who had helped him get elected to city council--and he got what he deserved--HE LOST!

All of this brings to mind one of my favorite verses:

Calling Out Amnesty Pandering at the Beach Cities Republicans (Endorsements for AD-66 Central Committee)

It was really good--and invigorating--to speak out at the Beach Cities Republicans meeting last night.

I liked meeting with many familiar faces, and there were some other people whom I did not recognize, or whom I had not seen for at least two years.

The first guest speaker talked about Lyin' Ted Lieu and his

One of the guest speakers, William Valladares, was talking about immigration. He was playing up the fact that he is a "minority Latino GOP" whatever. Aren't we at a point in this country where we stopped judging people by the color of their skin, but started looking at the content of their character?

He then started talking about the "Dreamers", the so-called "Dreamers." He said that he supports giving them amnesty. He also said that some of them love this country more than other Americans. I was really offended by these liberal talking points.

Illegal immigration is illegal immigration. Illegal is illegal. Just because your parents broke the law and brought you into the country does not mean that we should ignore the integrity of a nation's borders and the sanctity of the rule of law. Children often have to deal with the consequences of their parents' crimes. There should be no exceptions made in the case of illegal immigration.

I spoke out at length about this, and I refused to relent. One person told me to let him finish. I responded that I had a right to counter him on that point. Allan Ku (whom I enthusiastically endorse for Central Committee), also known as Allan Wright, was sitting next to me. He's an immigrant, and he came legally. He completely agreed with my decision to speak out. I then left the meeting because I was tired, because I had had a long day.

Two minutes later, I received a phone call. A friend of mine, Marlene Silva (whom I also enthusiastically endorse for Central Committee!). She applauded me for speaking out against the speaker who wanted to give amnesty to illegal aliens.

THEN, THEN she told me that six other people also walked out of the meeting because they were so disgusted with the comments from the speaker.

This is the movement that we are starting. This is how we start making a difference. It's time to stop being civil and play defense in the face of wrong ideas and wrong-doing!

Let's speak out and win!

The Significance of Hadley's Exit from CAGOP Race

I voted for David Hadley four times.

I vote for in both the primary and the general election in 2014 and 2016. He was the best choice for office in those contests. Even after he voted to permit illegal aliens to purchase health insurance on the Obamacare state insurance exchanges, even though he supported allowing illegal aliens to have drivers licenses, and even though he voted for assisted suicide, he was better than allowing Al Muratsuchi to continue representing the South Bay in Sacramento.

When he launched his bid for governor, my immediate reaction was a resounding NO! He was too liberal, unwilling to fight for conservative principles, too invested in seeking "balance" rather than righting the ship of state.

We don't need balance, we don't need compromise when the other side wants to steal your property in the name of "social justice", or when the other side wants to silence you, to kill you because they don't agree with your political views. The Regressive Left is also the Aggressive Left, and there is no making nice, making compromise, or finding common ground with another side that has no interest in respecting the natural rights of fellow citizens.

David Hadley wanted to be the professional nice guy, the one who would be welcomed at any table, well, actually the so-called "Cool Kids' Table." The party brass, the big money establishment wanted him to be the next chairman. He was connected with the New Permanent Minority money, for example. Andy Gimme-Candy and Howard Fakes, along with the rest of the sluggish RINO-PLAC crowd were simply not interested in making a difference, just interested in making it seem like they were getting by.

On top of all these issues, Hadley was a NeverTrumper. He wrote the stunningly bad op-ed for the Daily Breeze in which he had announced that he was not voting for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. The thinking behind all of this was really bad. Rather than opening up Democrats and liberal independents to vote for him, the op-end turned off a whole lot of Republicans. The Palos Verdes Republican Women federated refused to help his 2016 re-election bid. No matter how much Hadley's ardent supporters condemned this investment for the Presidential Election (Donald Trump was not going to win California anyway, so who cares?), the conservative activists throughout the South Bay did not want to help Hadley.

The same corrupted liberal cohorts that have ruined RPLAC also undermined the Beach Cities Republicans. Many of them refused to do anything for Trump or for Republicans in general election in 2016. When the Beach Cities Republicans hosted Marco Gutierrez in 2016, the South Bay Central Committee undercut us and told me to cancel the meeting. It was pretty shocking what happened. I refused to be pushed around. I was re-elected to be President of the Beach Cities Republicans. Rather than accepting this victory, the RPLAC Executive Committee violated their own by-laws and revoked the club's charter. When I sought David Hadley's help, or at least his understanding on this matter, this was the answer I basically received from him:

For my part and to this day, I still have found him to be still so off-putting, arrogant, disrespectful. He is a snob, someone who picks and chooses the people he wants to "be seen with." Who wants to put up with this?! Do we really want someone like that running the state party?

In spite of these problems, the California Republican Party executive board got behind him for Vice Chair, voting him in unanimously. They really believed that they were going to short-circuit the Convention election and force a hand-picked successor on the delegates.

But that did not happen.

I was surprised to receive his latest eblast that it would be his final eblast.

The public and the legacy media didn't even report on it until five days later as an afterthought. Hadley was such a non-entity in his bid for Chairman.

But the biggest victory is that the delegates, the base sent the message loud and clear: We will elected our representative chairman, not you!

This is huge! Let's keep building on this momentum!

Yes on Prop 6, Repeal the Gas Tax Meeting, Torrance (Photos and Video)

Former San Diego City Councilman and Congressional candidate came up to Torrance, CA to help rally the troops for the repeal of the hateful, dreaded gas tax, the car tax, and the passage of a constitutional amendment to ensure that the state could never raise the gas tax again without vote consent first.

The room was filled up with no chairs to spare, and yet people continued to attend.

Keep in mind that this meeting took place on Monday afternoon. It is very difficult to get people to do anything political on a Monday mid-morning or afternoon.

But there we were.

There is a lot of momentum to repeal the gas tax.

The Reform California movement got rid of State Senator Josh Newman.

Now we need to repeal this dreaded gas tax.

Then we will start knocking out all the other state senators who plowed the average California worker with higher taxes and fees.

Beach Cities Republicans: Keith Hardine and Gregory Brittain, Redlands Tea Party

                   


Here was last meeting at the Beach Cities Republicans.

I had two years running this club, in the face of Establishment frauds and failures, as well as punishing attacks against men and women on the Left who wanted to stomp out any kind of conservative movement and energy in the South Bay.

Yet in spite of all the difficulties, the club actually accomplished a great deal:

1. We grew our numbers, and brought in people from throughout Los Angeles County to join, not just in the South Bay.
2. We made ourselves noticed and influential in the local and national press, at least as far as the Los Angeles Times is concerned.
3. The Beach Cities Republicans hosted a US Senate candidates' debate early on in 2016. I was able to get Duf Sundheim to attend, for example.
4. Men and women in the Southeastern LA County regions were able to connect with the conservative message and learn that there are indeed Republicans of diverse backgrounds who want to help all sections of Los Angeles County.
5. BCR Board members and general members stood up to the bullying, corrupt LA GOP Central Committee and embarrassed them with impunity.
6. One of the reasons I got involved as President was to stop the advance of liberal GOP-ism, aka Log Cabin Republicans, etc, which has nothing to do with the party's platform, and in fact surrenders the culture to the Left. I could not tolerate that happening. We won.
7. Members of the club informed me that they were glad for me standing my ground on key issues and ensuring a club that was conservative, rather than accommodating.
8. Our club made appearances at local city council meetings to challenge the status quo in many places.
9. We had incredible guests speak to the club over the two years that I was President, including Kurt Schlicther of Townhall.com, Eric Golub the comedian, and Michael Ramirez, the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist.
10. I am also really proud of the fact that we turned the tide against the liberal trolls John Paul Tabakian and his petty cabal of left-leaning frauds. We even shut down their attempted power grab with the corrupt WestCal Academy into the Torrance City Council.
11. I believe that BCR has more money in its own bank the Central Committee.
12. In spite of competition and intrigue from Aurelio Mattucci and others on the Central Committee, the Beach Cities Republicans retain and grew in numbers, and I won re-election.

This was my last meeting as President, and for the foreseeable future I will not be attending future meetings unless time permits.

The great privilege for me in this last meeting was to invite Keith Hardine, a constitutionalist and activist for the truth of our country and our nation's founding values. He is an incredible speaker, and he taught me much of what I use to this day on college campuses.

Then I invited Gregory Brittain of the Redlands Tea Party and United IE to speak to our club.

He even drove all the way to the South Bay to do this engagement. I was so pleased. His points about the direction of the state and the country, the steps which we Americans need to take to hold onto our country, were all well-taken. They have forged an incredible coalition out there, and they are in everyone's face who needs to be confronted!

At the end of the meeting, I was able to share my final good-byes with key members of the club as well as new faces whom I had not seen before.

I look back at the two years that I was President, and here are the key moments which come to mind:

1. Hosting Latinos for Trump to speak to the club, specially in opposition to the cowardly hatred of the LAGOP Central Committee and leadership.

2. The Breakfast Buffet Celebration for our President Donald Trump!

3. Winning the first term as President on November 19, 2015. That day was the culmination of many incredible activities, including my visit to the FBI to report on Huntington Park, CA, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, then delivering key documents to Congressman Ted Lieu's district office, and finally dropping off formal complaints at the US Attorney's office in Downtown LA.

I barely made it to the meeting on time, but I made it, and on top of that I won!

The next election was spectacular, since I defeated a second person running for the top spot, and the corrupt central committee worked with him to make him the next President, and we shut that down.

It was amazing to me how much I had to learn, that the Republicans in central committees and in state leadership are not committed to winning. They want to lose and blame everything but themselves for their never-ending failures. What a shame all around. I am interested in winning, or at least having fun while watching the government institutions in California collapse, so that we can start over and build from the bottom up.

I hope and intend to see the Beach Cities Republicans continue to grow as an active club, and that more people will see the group and its membership as an opportunity to make a difference, not just kill time. For me, the experience of being President was well worth many of the efforts. I was a trusted source of knowledge and insight into key conflicts in the party and around the state.

It was especially funny when KCAL 9 asked me for a statement about Presidents' Day and Republican victories in connection with President Trump, all while the local paper had reported on the corrupt Central Committee's decision to revoke our charter for false reasons.

Robin Hvidston of We the People Rising and The Remembrance Project provided an excellent meeting, too, in May 2017, which informed so many people about the dire consequences of illegal immigration. It was great fun to have successful activism ventures reported to the group, and to see more of them getting involved, too!

For now, I leave you with the video of the last meeting and the people who spoke in it, and I look forward to more victories and opportunities in the future for the state and our movement to succeed.

Dept. of Health and Human Services: Fire Mark Vafiades, Too!

The Department of Health and Human Services no longer has a secretary.

Tom Priced liked traveling, but he did not like working.

He was not focused on the needs of the American people.

Trump gave Price a clear job--repeal Obamacare--and nothing happened.

He needed to go.

There is one staffer in the HHS who also needs to go.

His name is Mark Vafiades.

On his LinkedIn, he lists himself as the Director of Communications for the HHS.

Really.

This man had served (?) as the chairman of the Republican Party of Los Angeles.

He sold out and went along with the establishment.

I had had a modicum of respect for this man. He had gotten RPLAC out of debt, right?

Now I realize that much of this had to do with Charles Munger's welfare money. What kind of leadership is that?!

Give me a break.

And then he was awarded Regional Vice Chair for Los Angeles County?

Really?

LOL! What kind of leadership did he have? He spent more time trying to tamper down and shut up conservatives than winning elections against Democrats. Unbelievable.

He needs to go, too, since he suddenly got some kind of plum job in the Trump Administration in the HHS. This guy is a social climber and an ambitious fraud. I cannot believe that some of these corrupt people get assignments like this. Does anyone in Washington DC ever pay attention?!

Who is RPLAC Chairman Richard Sherman? Another "Nice Guy" RINO

Richard Sherman was approved to be the next RPLAC Chairman.

Who is this guy?

I had never heard of him, but there is so much going in California politics that I am catching up on.

Sherman, according to a few sources, is a liberal, a professional nice guy, and a psychiatrist.

Here is his statement after becoming the RPLAC Chairman:

The New Republican Party of Los Angeles County welcomes you!

The Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC) is a volunteer organization, made up of engaged community members who care about bringing common-sense policies back to all levels of government, from Washington D.C. and Sacramento, to your local City Hall.

Not entirely volunteer. The party spent $60,000 for their useless executive director, money that could have been helping to elected candidates, register voters, etc.

Each day our members fight for issues voters care about most – creating good paying jobs that improve our economy, providing our children with the best education, making our neighborhoods safe, increasing opportunities for all, and strengthening our quality of living.

Uh, no they haven't.

We are fortunate to live in the most diverse region in the entire world. Our communities are rich with people from all over, with different cultures, traditions and heritages. That’s what makes Los Angeles County unique. We want the new Republican Party, our members and voters, to reflect this wonderful diversity.

WHAT? What does diversity have to do with anything? This is the same tired nonsense out of the overplayed, left-wing identity politics playbooks. Can't we do better than living in the 90s?

Members of RPLAC are elected every four years by the voters, and are tasked with representing all Republicans across the county and the values they care about.

"Elected"? That's rich. The powers that be behind the throne outlined the slate that they wanted in charge, and there was no one available with the votes to challenge this establishment status quo.

What a laugh!

We encourage all Republicans to get involved and participate in our activities, which include social and educational programs, recruiting candidates to run for public office, volunteering on various campaigns and becoming engaged in the issues that impact our local communities.

No they don't! They bankrupt Executive Committee revoked the charter for the Beach Cities Republicans and the Mountain View Republicans. They have deliberately quashed conservatives and distanced themselves from President Trump and his winning MAGA Agenda.

What can you say about party leaders when they join forces with Cheating Chad Mayes?!

The Permanent Minority Leader's Club

The mission of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County is simple:

-Create Better Jobs & Strengthen Our Economy

-Make Our Neighborhoods Safe

-Provide All Children A Quality Education

-Increase Opportunities For Everyone

How do they intend to do all of this when they play Democrat-lite? Anyone want to tell me?

They don't. Chuckles Munger Jr. is taking his money and going elsewhere. He sees that all the big spending has not paid off. He does not have all the power that he claimed to have. The power of the organized grassroots proved too much for the donor class in the state of California.

If you are interested in shaping the future of our region and making a difference, we want you to become a part of the new Republican Party of Los Angeles County.

That word "new" appears twice, as though there is anything different about the same, old-hat leaders who do nothing, accomplish nothing, and have nothing to show for their systemic failure at leading.

There was nothing sincere about Richard Sherman and Co. decision to attack conservatives and silence activists.

Nothing at all.

Sherman is a liberal.

Sherman is accommodating.

Sherman is going to have to pick up all the pieces as all the money leaves the building. The Executive Director has called it quits, as well, has no interest in running things, since they are not going to be paying him.

Perhaps Spell Check Maruca can look into remedial English to learn how to read and write--and make some sense when he sends out emails.
