Samuel Francis: A Reflection and a Reconsideration

Pedro Gonzalez introduced me to Samuel Francis, and from there I read his fantastic book Beautiful Losers.

Francis predicted what I have been witnessing for the last eight years, and what President Donald Trump busted up: “Conservatism” has been corrupted into a libertarian lightweight controlled opposition, abandoning the fundamentals of our nation’s identity, integrity, and idiosyncrasy.

Samuel Francis predicated the rise of “Middle American Radicals” and the populist, America-First pushback against managerial elites and globalist implications. Ron Paul fretted as far back as 2007 about the rising soft fascism in this country, in which conformity would be the rule, and non-government organizations would impose speech codes and other repressive measures against those who did not conform to the will and wishes of the elite. But Francis called out the corporate dominance long before that.

Francis’ most salient observations arise from his essay Beautiful Losers in the same-named book that he published in 1993. He called out the frequent failure of the Conservative movement to win the culture war. He pointed out how Conservatives had incorporated the Gestalt of Liberalism, in which individual liberty is the only salient feature, while culture and constitutional concerns were brushed aside. Francis correctly exposed the “neoconservatives” as the neo-liberals that they really were. Sure, they did not like the rising crime rates and plummeting test sores in the inner cities. Yet they still held onto the multicultural, affirmative-action dogma which created those problems in the first place.

To his incredible credit, Francis called out the tacit alliance of liberals and conservatives to focus on fighting communism and promote individual liberty, which in turn turned into a betrayal of true constitutionalism, Judeo-Christian conservatism, and America-First nationalism.

William F. Buckley articulated conservatism thus:

“A conservative is someone who stands athwart history, yelling ‘Stop!’, at a time when no one is inclined to do so, or to have much patience with those who so urge it.”

Samuel Francis pointed out who the Left and other liberal interests had conveniently found ways to get around the Conservative Crank shouting “Stop!”, all while praising Mr. Stop Sign’s political convictions. Even though conservatives opposed abortion, homosexual marriage, gun control, economic restrictionism, socialism, and Marxist groupthink in the colleges, all the major institutions in our culture, community, and country have given into these forces.

Yes, conservatives need to yell “Stop!” but they also have to actually stop the nefarious elements causing harm when they don’t stop. And Francis called them out on it.

Hence, the mess we find ourselves in today, a mess which President Trump, with his Francis-Buchanan populist instincts began taking the first steps to clean up.

Samuel Francis’ thinking is making a comeback and for good reason.

He also needs to make a comeback to remind us why he disappeared, and why it made sense at the time that he went away.

Samuel Francis predicted the populist backlash to the managerial elites ruining our country.

He was absolutely correct to call out America’s growing investment and involvement in foreign wars. He was critical of the First War in Iraq, and his criticism would have aptly applied to George W. Bush’s second invasion of Iraq in 2003, which he lived to see, but not end.

He was also right to question the cult-like adherence that had cropped up around Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement as a political hegemony. Civil rights has really turned into “civic privilege” handed out by government entities, and in too man cases undermines true natural rights.

But Samuel Francis would later write:

“What we as whites must do is reassert our identity and our solidarity, and we must do so in explicitly racial terms through the articulation of a racial consciousness as whites.”

I find this statement patently offensive. More importantly, though, it’s abject falsehood.

What is a “white racial consciousness”? Such a thing does not exist. Did the guy not study the Civil War? The United States was 90% white in 1861, and the country descended into a fractious, fearsome civil war, one which cost more American lives than all other American military involvements combined! White nationalists, or white racialists will argue: “That’s what happens when you have people of a different race in your country! It causes nothing but trouble!” However, most of these armchair (or should I say “Booster-Seat”) historians forget that blacks were voting citizens in some of the colonies and the states. They supported the ratification of the United States Constitution, as well.

Getting rid of all the black, Hispanic, and Asian people is not going to solve any problems. Human nature and its propensity to faction is deeply-rooted enough, that no matter how homogenous one makes a community, there can be still emerge bases for strife and conflict. The problem is not other people and their skin color.

I cannot offer a systematic explanation, but I will hazard one educated guess as to why there are these conflicting advocacies among nationalists and populists: the focus on Tradition as the catch-all answer to everything, rather than looking for truth to synthesize all the data before them on the historical record.

Human thought tends to aggregate a set of propositions under one label, then wants to answer all the other policy, personnel, and fundamental questions under the same label. If you see yourself as a nationalist and a populist, then you have to support welfare for American citizens only, for example. Yet government subsidy of any kind harms the very people it claims to help (read Charles Murray’s On Losing Ground for more information).

Some nationalist-populist types are pushing for minimum wage increases, government-run healthcare (Medicaid expansions or even single-payer programs) because they want the government to “serve the people.” However, making the people dependent on the government only serves … the government, or the people who are running the government. The lack of thinking on these matters is really disturbing!

This same kind of sloppy thinking induces nationalists and populists to look at old traditions, the “Southern Way of Life” and decide: “Why can’t we go back to the way things used to be? Why can’t we go back to being a majority white country?”

 

Francis seemed to think that going back to a time when the nation was “majority white” would be better for the country, since there were fewer problems. He confuses skin color for culture, and he misplaces physical identity for the common cohesion needed to hold a country together. This kind of thinking is sloppy, mistaken, and just plain wrong.

Sam Francis was right about the abandonment of the real culture war, and he deftly explained why the Right is getting it wrong. But the answer is not “White Power” or “White Nationalism.” We need to focus on and restore the United States of America’s fundamental, credal heritage: our Anglo-Saxon legal tradition, the Judeo-Christian heritage, and our unique Constitutional Republicanism. These American verities are not “white values,” and an American Renaissance is not an invitation to go backwards, but rather to move forwards and restore that the credal promises of America can incorporate anyone who is willing to submit and accept them.

Populism, Tucker Carlson, and the Student Loan Debt Crisis

About Student Loan Debt:

Populism is certainly quite popular, but sometimes the best policies remain--and often will always be--unpopular. It's important to bear this in mind.

Tucker Carlson has been talking about the student debt/student loan crisis for a number of years. Granted, I think it's welcome that more pundits are calling out the crass, corrupt political class on both sides of the aisle which has enriched itself at the expense of all of us, making themselves God while dismissing our natural rights and constitutional authorities as citizens.

However, there are some failings, some crises which are of our own making, so to speak. Individual student debtors cannot lay all the blame on Washington DC or even private universities for taking on massive student loan debt.

Debt is debt, and it is neither just nor fair to make the government defray the student loans for every college student.

1. First of all, it would not be a populist move at all, since the majority, if not vast majority of student loan debtors, are upper middle class, privileged people. This is not a move that helps the poor or working classes, since many of them could not have afforded to take on any form of debt at the outset.

2. Second, how is there any restoration or respect for the power of the people if the people at large are forced to pay off the debts of others? How does that restore natural right?

3. Pundits like Tucker Carlson need to recognize that any government-subsidized bailout of student loan debt will only enable more moral hazard, i.e. more prospective college students will take on massive student loan debt, and more universities will drive up tuition and housing costs.

4. Here's an idea: pay off your student loan debt yourself! The economy is roaring like never before. Everyone who wants a job, can get a job.

5. God is very much in the miracles business when it comes to debt. Instead of looking to the government, how about resting in the grace of God Almighty? Consider the account in 2 Kings 4:1-7.

The woman and her sons faced a debt so crushing, that her creditors were about to sell her sons into slavery to pay off the debt. The prophet Elisha, a picture of our Savior Jesus Christ, told the woman to collect as many empty vessels as she could from her neighbors, then start filling the vessels with the little bit of oil she had left. She ended up filling everyone of the vessels with oil, and then she sold the oil to pay off the debt AND live off the rest!

God is in the debt-defraying business, and He does a better job than the government can ever do! I know -- because He did it for me!

Schadenfreude: Ben Shapiro on Trump's Take-Down on Steve Bannon

                     

Ben Shapiro goes off on Steve Bannon.

He also goes off on Breitbart, and still has strong, unsound reservations about President Trump.

Oh well ...

Still, these damning revelations about Steve Bannon are disturbing and unfortunate.

Speaker Paul Ryan: You’re Fired

The AHCA was DOA on the First Day.

Why? It wasn’t repeal—and then the bill was pushed on a premise of “replace.”

Obamacare does not need to be replaced, either. Government intervention is not needed. If I go to the doctor, I do not want Big Mamma Government telling me to turn my head and cough.

This whole “AHCA Y—M-C-A!” (with apologies to the Village People!” has been an overwrought snake oil scam. This Obamacare debacle is already dead, from the moment that the Democratic hordes forced it onto us, and Grandma Pelosi announcing: “We had to pass the bill so that you can see what’s it in.”

Worse has transpired. We have experienced what it’s done to the economy, the insurance industry, and our health care systems.

·         Businesses cut hours, laid off workers, or never expanded.

·         Medical staffers (from doctors down to the nurses’ aides) are fleeing the profession.

·         Hospitals are closing.

·         Local clinics are shutting down, not because of the lack of patient demand, but because the number of qualified professionals has plummeted.

The paperwork, the bureaucratese, the lack of reimbursements, the stellar invasion of Washington DC into rural and Main Street doctors’ offices have turned the health care profession into a nightmare.

Oh, and waiting times have increased by at least 30%, per the latest study.

No Obamacare replacement was ever needed. A full repeal is just what the doctor ordered. Were Republicans trying too hard or going to fast? No. The same corporate interests which have pulled strings, written checks, and cornered elected officials were back in business.

This time, though, the cherished Corporate-Corruption Care that they hoped for did not happen.

God bless the Freedom Caucus, I say!

Yet California Republicans, from regional Vice-Chair Sue Caro to Impact Republicans leader Aaron Park are cursing the winning freedom fighters. They have lived in the Blue State Bubble too long, while forgetting that Trump triumphed, turning three long-standing blue states red last year. Note to Californians who want to make California Great Again: “compromise” is not the answer in Washington DC. General George Washington didn’t settle for letting the British take their arms and tax them to death. English citizens enjoyed generations of salutary neglect, and a sudden rush of taxes from the Crown without any impute about those taxes—was just intolerable.

With right and wrong, there is no room for compromise. Do I want a little poison in my cereal, as opposed to a lot? Whether a little or a lot, it will kill me. No compromises, no half-way consequences.

Now, who is to blame for the non-passage of the non-repeal of Obamacare?

Failure, thy name is (Former?) Speaker Paul Ryan.

I am tired of this guy. I am tired of these old-school, make-nice lawmakers who won’t go all the way and kill Obamacare. What more do these losers need to see in order to know that doubling down and going the distance can and does work? Ask Phyllis Schlafly (Well, no one can ask now, since she’s dead). She fought with truth and facts against the “Equal Rights Amendment” even though Democrats and Establishment Republicans (including Presidents Nixon and Ford) wanted it.

She lamented the non-action from Republicans in the past, whether to stop Social Security (which is no longer financially insecure) or Medicare and Medicaid (which are not providing care or aid as cost overruns eat up every other line of the federal budget). She doubled down and demanded its death. “Equal rights” sounded nice, but she could see the destructive effects, including forced diminution of men, as well as the depletion of liberties and demise of key institutions like the family. Her efforts were non-stop, confrontational, and every effective. ERA went DOA.

I am not going to accept Ronald Reagan’s adage anymore: that the closest thing to eternal life on earth is a government program—and that certainly holds for Obamacare. Look over the Congressional Record, Speaker Ryan. The budget reconciliation of 2016 got rid of everything that could be removed with a simple majority in both houses.

Yet Ryan refused. Yes, he refused. He should now be treated as refuse (trash).

It’s time for Trump to stop acting like “The Apprentice” and take charge like the boss he is. He needs to walk into the Speaker’s office and say to Speaker Paul Ryan: “You’re Fired.”

OK, that scenario is a facetious hope, of course. Congress is an independent branch of government, after all. Trump’s Twitter feed and Facebook account have more effectively rallied support from the widespread supporters who brought him into office. Watch the phone calls pour in from all over the country. “Fire Ryan, or we will fire you in 2018!”

Yes, the Wisconsin Veep on the Romney ticket will take the next train to Oshkosh, and Paul Nehlen will be the next representative for Wisconsin District One. And we will get another speaker. The powerbrokers on K Street don’t want to learn their lesson, folks. They lost Election 2016. But like crusty barnacles on the leaking ship of state, they are not budging—at least not without furious scrubbing.

The Speaker of the House must speak for what is best for the people, and most importantly for the Constitution. Our work has only just begun. RyanCare was pulled. Now let’s show them we really care and have Paul Ryan pulled from the Speakership.

Obamacare still needs to be repealed: not appealed, not depleted, not fixed, nor given another shade of lipstick.  The silver lining is already shining--this failure has completely thrown shade on the last vestiges of Paul Ryan as an effective or worthwhile Speaker.

His heart does not beat for what is best for you and me. He wanted to put himself in the shoes of illegal immigrants. He wants to expand the foreign workforce. The Angel Moms visited his home (with its big beautiful wall and secure borders) received no reception from him.

Enough.

Trent Larson: Populism is Conservatism for the Living

Last week, I wrote that Populism is the New Conservatism.

Trent Larson of Hermosa Beach, a two-time Republican candidate for city council, offered the following opinion on this article:

Conservatism for the Living

Conservatism is migrating and evolving. Old faithful intellectual leaders like George Will witnessed the disheartening deflation of freedoms spirit and stagnation of economic growth. Heads in the unconnected cumulonimbus cloud NeverTrump GOP elite are blinded by self-inflicted intolerant philosophical altruism foisted upon themselves. 

Dedication to principle without something practical to demonstrate it--makes a conservative very ineffective.

Economic growth will roar back into life and soar when Americans--not foreign workers--start working again.

New populist conservative Donald Trump pumps supplemented oxygenated blood into our democracy by prescriptively advocating building and producing products and jobs for the betterment of American workers. Profound emphasis on executing deliverable priorities that are actionable, targeted & designed to produce immediate beneficial results. Turning inward to heal our divides through productive works is the new gold standard.

The American worker had long been neglected.

As long as corporate interests wanted cheap labor--at any costs-American workers and the populace as a whole would pay the cost.

That is wrong. Ronald Reagan did not have to deal with these challenges.

A global economy forces the United States to ensure that our free market principles are respected, and that our government looks out for the national interest of all Americans.

Made in America stickers stamped loud and proud on products is back in the saddle again. Rosie the Riveter made over for the workplace symbolizes reengineering and rebuilding of America both public and private. Proletariat individuals whose spirit filled pulsing hearts of passion and love are fueled by freedoms earthly rewards are blessed and guided by heavens angels. 

I am not to keen on the word "proletariat" -- to Communistic.

Men and women are not defined by how much they make or where they work. Our country should  not look down on men and women who engage in manual trades like plumbing and welding, as well as social media and intellectual property and technology.

An economy depends on much more than college training.

Objective in logic, offering workable solutions simultaneously shaking off the stigmatized labels falsely sprayed. Skunky duplicitous images and viral verbiage smeared shamefully at cognitive mapping need not apply. Like Taylor Swift says “Shake it Off”. Trump wants his brand to live forever. His path to victory lies in the success of his policies and his ability to lead. My hope is that we surpass expectations and win again as one Nation united for the improvement of the living and future generations.

The Desperate Media's Russian Obsession: Why?

I used to love watching the Sunday Morning Talk Shows.

This Week with George Step-on-all-of-us.

Meet the Press (Greet the Dems).

In Los Angeles, I could watch News Conference with Conan Nolan (who played nice with everyone, especially the Democrats who dominate our tarnished Golden State).

Fox News Sunday was particularly worth the wait (and the watch). Chris Wallace is pretty fair and balanced, I think. I also trusted George Will to ask all the hard questions and not worry about making Republicans—as well as Democrats—really angry.

This past weekend, I remember why I have boycotted them.

All I heard about was “Russia, Russia, Russia.” UGH!

Of course, this batty insanity is not a new thing.

Trump Derangement had already ruined the Sunday Morning Circus …. I mean circuit.

These guys were obsessed with every thought word, deed, finger-wag of the Donald.

Even before I was a full-throated endorser of Trump (and not just because He was Not-Hillary), it really disturbed me how  focused, entrenched, enchanted the media had become with Trump.

Sure, they need the ratings, and he brings in the viewers like no one else. The general election debates deserved the high ratings they pulled in. After all, who doesn’t want to see Crooked Hillary getting called out on her crap?

Yet the fixation on Trump took another dark turn throughout the general election season. From pundit to talking head, the tongues were wagging about Russia’s inordinate influence in our election.

The media loved to draw a love-fest parallel between Trump and Putin, as though they were two autocrats who would hold hands and bulldoze the world, civil rights and old.

Some of Trump’s campaign team dropped out because of supposed ties to Russia.

Granted, there are plenty of reasons to fear Russia. Their aggressive “President” Vladimir Putin invaded Crimea, invested in Iran, and intervened in the Middle East.

But have we forgotten that this country has the GDP of Los Angeles County? How many Russians can rub two rubles together to get through the week? And to top things off, the Russian government has censored religious groups, and outlawed evangelism in the country—all in the name of counter-terrorism.

But hey, don’t blame me for noticing Vladimir Putin, who puts his money where he is mouth is (even if it’s someone else’s). Why did major magazines recognize him as an influential figure, more influential even than our current President?

His rhetorical strain of nationalism appealed to many in this country, who are hungry for America-loving leadership. Barack Obama has taken every opportunity to shame Americans and our down-to-earth values. Putin is proud to be a Russian. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a President who is proud to be an American? Nationalism is very much in vogue, especially when it determines the difference between a secure border and living citizenry vs. a globalist idealism which disdains the collateral damage, i.e. lost jobs, lost international prestige, and lost lives (here and abroad.)

Putin’s timely awareness about national identity and cultural integrity cannot be ignored, either. His speech to parliament featured this little treasure: “Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws.  Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges.”

Mainstream Media has turned into #FakeNews

Whether Putin actually delivered these remarks are not, they are attributed to him, and Americans by and large want their President to abide  by them.

But still, why does the press go nuts and draw up stark lines from Moscow to DC by way of Trump Tower? Oh, yeah,: Trump once said that he liked Vladimir Putin.

Yep. He’s a card carrying Communist!

Trump also donated to a lot of Democratic campaigns in the past. I could not care less at this point, since he beat down a corporately corrupt kleptocratic Clinton clan. His appointments indicate a clear desire to accomplish good and Make America Great Again.

No, little press agents. Trump is not a stooge of the Krelim.

So, who cares about Russia?

The media do, see above.

Once again, I had to watch this nonsense from one Sunday program to the next. They are fanatical about this. It’s unbelievable. But why? What is really going on?

They refuse to concede their candidate—and the leftist agenda pushing the national programming—tanked, and big time.

#FakeNews is definitely a thing, and signals the lasting, though weakening, gasps of the Democratic Party’s militantly media-industrial complex trying to shore up its influence and integrity.

And so the morning litany bellowed forth:

• It was the Russians who hacked the Democratic National Committee’s emails.
• It was the Russians who have been pulling strings to falsely induce the American voters to vote for Trump.
• It’s the Russians’ fault that Donald Trump has taken on the autocratic veneer of a euro-nationalist thug.

Actually … no.

Julian Assange drip, drip, dripped the Wikileaks. Yes, he hacked away at the Democratic Party’s servers. But honestly, if the Democratic Party had not been up to no good, they wouldn’t have had anything t hid in the first place?

The Wikileaks flooded the news cycle with truth like a wicked washing machine taking out the stains in the most soiled cloth one can imagine (and I am not talking about Monica’s blue dress from Bill Clinton’s Oval Office).

The Russian hysteria is Fake New on steroids, a stinging and laughable refrain that the media as we know it is dead, and that a new media, a consortium of average joes who can report the news bigger, faster, stronger and better have discredited and marginalized the press, radio, and TV which had lulled us into complacency.

This Russia Complex is just one more reason why We the People won with Donald Trump, and will be telling the Sunday Morning Madness “Dasvidaniya!”

Nigel Farage Announces the Death of the Mainstream Media

Nigel Farage explained to the media why they lost in the Year 2016.

They don't care about the "little people."

The media giants had served as a left-wing filter for a progressive agenda.

Their political biases and immoral correctness has hurt their image and credibility.

Farage listed the specific issues where the media have shown themselves out of touch with the broader, wiser public:

1. Immigration

2. Radical Islam

3. Climate Change

I would add ...

4. Transgenderism

5. Multiculturalism

The local press in California goes gaga all over the destruction of family and gender, plus the rejection of Judeo-Christian values and Western Civilization.

Throughout Election 2016, propagandists (they can't be called "journalists") were pumping up Hillary Clinton and the globalist agenda. Their bias was no longer hidden, even though for the three previous years they ignored scandal after scandal from the Obama Administration.

Over the past four years, though, the political class infiltrated more aspects of Main Street's daily lives. The people who don't vote started voting. These individuals hang up on press calls for polling, and they don't waste their time on Internet polls.

Throughout the general election, the press on both sides of the Atlantic misread--or rather ignored--the political populist currents rushing throughout the world. They never considered that people who never voted, would vote this time. Most people mind their own business and expect the political classes to make poor decisions which affect only them and the wealthy, well-connected peoples invested in politics.

The "little people" won, and the media class got tossed, along with the arrogant political class buoyed by them.

Farage's speech is worth listening to.

Media and reporting has become all too easy for "the common people."

We experience the hardships of arrogant, corporatist, anti-conservative policies.

Instead of begging the local or statewide newspaper to report the news, we can do it ourselves!

The "Mainstream Media" is no longer mainstream.

It is not even a stream, but a tiny trickle drying up.

The press, the media, the newscorps need to learn to tell the truth, or go the way of the dinosaur, the phonograph, and even the cassette tape.

Populism: Down-to-Earth Conservatism

George Will once argued that populism clashes with conservatism. The rancor of the people raging in the streets usually pushes the government to explode in size and scope.

Then again, with Trump's ascendancy to the Presidency, and his latest picks for the Executive cabinet, there is little to suggest that conservative principles are falling by the wayside.

We the People are angry at the government in Washington, because they continue ceding power to international interests, or they kowtow to corporations looking for cheap labor.

These priorities do not reflect the best interests of the American people.

Open borders are wiping out entire communities. Men and women of diverse backgrounds are struggling for work, or facing new threats to their safety and property.

The globalist dream of a borderless hemisphere is a total joke.

Trade deals which permit loopholes for well-lawyered corporations, and push out the down-on-his-luck small business: that is wrong.

The populist movement is inherently libertarian on political and economic matters.

Men and women would like to be left alone to live their lives, pursue their dreams, and not have to pester their representatives to back off.

Men and women just to see the government protect their rights and secure the border.

Basics, simple basics!

David Brat defeated Eric Cantor in the 2014 Virginia Primary because he was paying more attention to the needs of his big money donors rather than the concerns of "The Little People."

And that's the deep-rooted conflict that surrounds the immigration issues for many voters. It's  more than the depression of wages. It's the risk of life and limb which Main Street suffers so that L Street sponsors and lobbyists make big money.

Populism does not conflict with conservatism.

William F. Buckley wrote The National Review.

But just because the wide majority of Americans don't read intellectual periodicals does not mean that they don't have smarts, or do not deserve a say in statescraft.

Buckley reminded his readers that he could pick any name out of the telephone book and find better city leadership than the ambitious politicians who sought higher office.

That's the meeting point of populism and conservatism.

We don't need intellectuals who talk and get nothing done.

We need intellects who understand how things work, and how policies affect everyone else.

Conservatism has an academic feel to it, dry and staid. Populism has given the movement flesh and flair.

We should be grateful for Donald Trump's ascendancy--he made conservative principles accessible and engaging to the common man.

Pat Condell: Wise Words For America and to the Criminal Migrant

The Bible clearly states "The fool has said in his heart 'There is no God.'" (Psalm 14:1)

Pat Condell of Great Britian, a YouTube sensation who speaks truth to Progressive frauds, advertises himself as an atheist.

Yet he possesses an erudition and blunt courage with a decent level of wisdom.

Would that more elected officials listened to him, as he channels very effectively the outpouring outrage of Europe's masses.

He is not afraid to speak truth to Progressive power, seized in Europe Universities, Courts, and Parliaments.

This power has determined that equality and the well-being of criminal migrants infesting Europe is more important than the Western values which make civilization possible.

Condell has amazed millions around the world in his YouTube commentaries, millions woh are fed up with the stifling, fascist political correctness that silences reasoned dissent against mass migration, climate change, and crippling policies afflicting free markets and free people.

He loves to pillory the race card, and the real racists who employ the term to shame opponents of mass migration and progressive values (if they can be called such).

He routinely calls out the dedicated class of corporations, bureaucrats, and corrupt special interests , who have designs on Europe. They want a "common market" for their own vision of global peace and harmony, a technocracy of efficient governance unimpeded by individual prejudices. There is only problem with this globalist vision: it comes with a price--a boot in our faces forever, per George Orwell. Fascism is the end of this technocratic dream, which has become a bureaucratic nightmare for those who have to live under it and pay for it.

But this corrupt military-industrial complex is coming to an end, and Condell is happy to report the good news for us.

In Great Britian, the Brexit pushed aside the Europe Union's coven of cronies. 

In the Netherlands, more citizens are questioning the entire EU project.

In Italy, the political Establishment faces epic collapse over the Renzi government's failed referendum.

Corporate interests wanted to build a globalist society with themselves as a new aristocracy and everyone else reduced to second-class feudal status. The attempts by the political class to stifle this populist, back-to-basics uprising have failed.

The spark that set off the new populist podwerkeg?

Immigration, and the migrant crisis of abusive, perverse, destructive refugees overrunning and ruining Europe: women raped, children raped, men assaulted and killed.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, unprecedented after all the decades when the French Republic was touted as a haven of tolerance.

From the embittering arrogance of the political class, however, no compassion has been forthcoming, and no desire to safeguard these communities and the citizens of their countries. All of this has become not just intolerable, but has produced a screech of "Stop!" from the Europeans.

Condell announced to the criminal migrants despoiling Europe that "Their end is near."

I appreciate his cogent yet forceful disgust with these illegal aliens.

He is not afraid to call their "culture and values" barbaric.

He does not shy away from shaming the government institutions purportedly instituted to protect the rights of Europeans, but instead protect the terrorizing lawlessness of the migrants masquerading as refugees.

I particularly enjoyed his savage parody of the Left's buzzwords "tolerance" and "human rights," terms now laughably devoid of meaning. Activist judges use these terms to justify untold harms and abuses to Austrian, German, Swedish, British citizens, etc.

Multiculturalism takes a heavy hit, as well, since the term has become an excuse to drag Western Civilization into the backward, execrable Third World mire of misogyny, mutilation, rampant poverty, and corruption.

Were Condell not an atheist, his wisdom would be unassailable.

Despite his rejection of divine revelation, Condell is wiser than most in Europe, and he praised Americans for practicing their own wisdom by reject Crooked Dhimmi Hillary Clinton. 

Indeed, We the People of the United States dodged a bullet, rejecting European collectivism and one-sided multiculturalism.

Let's hope that in the months to come, the member states of Europe overthrow their would-be corporate-bureaucratic masters, secure their borders, and enforce the rights and privileges of their own people against the invading criminal migrants of the Middle East.

I Want a #TrumpSandersDebate

California is a battleground state once again. Normally, Golden State gawkers watch the presidential primaries rap up one month prior, while presumptive nominees work over Hollywood (Democrats) or Orange County (Republicans) for general election campaign cash.

At first, I was looking forward to Republicans battling it out for the remaining delegates. Cruz v. Trump, with a little Kasich on the side would have proved interesting.

From Indiana to now, though, Donald Trump has clinched the Republican nomination.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton is still sputtering along. Yes, she’ll win the nomination, but she just can’t clinch this deal. Untiring challenger Bernie Sanders is eating up all the scenery in the room, and he will be taking some of the furniture with him at the DNC Convention in Philadelphia. There will be no brotherly love for the frayed and frustrated Democratic Party, divided over purpose, process, and principles (if they have any left).

To make matters worsen, the socialist US Senator of Vermont wants another debate with the weak front-runner. He may not win the nomination, but his left-wing wrangling assures that Hillary Clinton, who has been running for President for the past two decades, still will never win.

The talking heads were convinced in 2008 that Hillary Clinton was finished. She refused to give up quietly. This time, she will make a lot of noise taking down the liberal-progressive phalanx. Not long ago, Clinton Democrats were Republicans with a light blue veneer. Today, Hillary leaves Democrats, so addled with corruption, unconvinced due to her stiffness, unreal and unbearable.

Hard-core Democrats in California and throughout the county have one word to describe her:  fake.

“She’s a liar.” One Millennial told me, without my asking.

“I don’t trust her,” another young person told me. He knows more about economics that almost every Democrat in Washington DC, and most politicians in Sacramento. A fast-food employee still looking for more work and better pay, a robot may boot him out of a job very soon.

Hillary Clinton has faced—engendered, more accurately--massive protests, including outright disgust from Hispanic communities in the Eastern Los Angeles region. One Hispanic is running for my state assembly district, and he is a big Sanders fan. Many of them confess in private their support for Trump.

Hillary will have one hell of a time trying to curry favor with an increasingly disenchanted electorate still yearning for hope and change after the California primary, even if she ekes out a victory.

This last week, Donald Trump has hosted thousands of supporters at his rallies. Clinton can barely generate a crowd of five hundred, and even then some of the audience members support Republicans. They just want to see the slow demise of the Democratic front-runner.

Bernie Sanders is firing up voters all over the Golden State. Unions love him. Hispanics trust him. Wealthy, elite Democrats, true believers in the Cause, want the democratic socialist who will redistribute everyone else’s wealth (except for theirs, since their tax shelters and iron-clad trusts will secure their inheritance from the most rapacious of government programs).

So, the question on Trump’s lips and everyone else’s mind: what would a Trump v. Sanders debate look like?

I can imagine the Donald “You’re Fired!” Trump running rings around “Weekend at Bernie” Sanders. “Do you have a pulse, Burned-out Bernie?”

They would talk about the poverty gap, inequality, the troubles of the working man trying to get by. Sanders could tout his millions of speeches in which he repeats ad infinitum (and ad nauseam) how the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, etc. Trump is richer, has been bankrupt, lost businesses, grew businesses, helped millions of people get jobs. He knows how to game the system, knows who takes advantage of it. He talks about other people getting richer, and Making America Great Again.

Trump and Sanders both blasts big trade deals which hurt America at the expense of everyone else. Sanders wants taxes, Trump wants tariffs. At least we can keep more of our money with a Trump Presidency.

Are they going to talk abortion or gay marriage? Doubtful, since the economic populism of both campaigns has made them viable, long-lasting, and one of them the full-on nominee for his party—and both of them were late-comers to their respective parties, too!

Sanders will try to play the race card. Trump has photos, blogs, free press showcasing his outreach with minorities of all backgrounds. Sanders will say that the government belongs to We the People not the millionaires and billionaires. Donald Trump is a billionaire spending his immense riches on … what? Not his campaign, really. Trump has taken tough stances on immigration, and has lost business because of it, but he keeps plugging away, winning support, delegates, states, now the GOP nomination, and very likely the Presidency.

Will Sanders and Trump debate the Second Amendment? Trump should, and will, since he shoots his mouth off, and hits the target even when he misses. Sanders has tried to run away from his pro-gun record, and still can’t shake away his trigger-like support for the many gun owners of Vermont. Bang! You’re dead!

Trump and Sanders will definitely agree on one thing: a Hillary Clinton presidency would be a disaster for this country. An Obama third term, Clinton will open the borders for the illegal aliens, and she will open the taxpayer-funded coffers for Wall Street. With her hands open wide to every corrupt dictator in the Middle East, the Clinton Foundation cashing in on these rogue relationships, Clinton the first woman Presidential nominee will give women of high political profiles a bad name.

The real war on women? Hillary enabling her nymphomaniac husband, with a rap sheet of perversions and peccadilloes so rank and disgraceful, no one has to wonder why radical feminist Camille Paglia despises Her.

I want a Trump v. Sanders debate. It will be fun, informative (indirectly), and will further cap the Hillary Clinton campaign which never really could.

Donald Trump, We are Already Making America Great Again

Donald Trump is not going to make America great again.

He hasn't been reading the press, perhaps because he has been dominating so many of the headlines lately.

We the People make America Great, and we are already making America great again.

I remember the quote from the now deceased conservative reporter Robert Nowak:

"Always love your country. Never trust your government."

For too long, the problem has been that we have not properly distinguished the  two elements.

The country is not the government. Yet too many people have gotten comfortable with more government in our lives.

Then came Barack Obama.

He has deliberately and repeatedly shoved the state into our lives. From the stimulus to Cap and Trade, to Obamacare, to the rampant destruction of time-honored institutions in pursuit of the progressive, leftist agenda, Barack Obama has dusted away the United States Constitution in order to pursue his own illegitimate political ends.

MakING Americ Great Again

He is a national disgrace.

The Tea Party forces of 2010 helped awaken our outrage. They also forced us to confront our too-strong love affair with a closed system, an oppressive state which was taking money from the states, then picking winners and losers.

All of this wrong.

Donald Trump is the apeothesis of our country's disgust with politics as usual.

He says all the things that are true, even if he does not believe, and especially be causes the politically chatter-ati don't want to hear it.

He talks about immigration, and how the open borders policies of Big Government, Big Business, Big Labor, and Big Homo have hurt the average working man.

And "working man" has expanded with the rising number of working poor taking in two jobs, and still not uite making ends meet.

What is going on? A rigged political game.

And we have been paying for it.

The grassroots movements are rising up. They do not like paying for open borders, corporate bailouts, government pensions.

They have learned the need to participate, not just by voting.

They are voicing their strong opinions on key issues.

They are taking back their local governments.

They are focusing on their statehouses, too.

In East Los Angeles too, as well as the hearty Midwest and New England, Americans are already making America Great Again.

Donald Trump needs to catch up, and fix his cap!
