This is the latest load of garbage that the pro-family movement is facing. There is such a desperation on the part of some conservatives, that they are willing to form the strangest of bed-fellows in their vain attempts to push their own grift, all while claiming that they care about kids and want to stop abuse.
All of this LGBT "activism" on behalf of "the kids" is really LGBT militants wanting to justify themselves and normalize their perversion. They want to make themselves virtuous in the eyes of the public, and in the end groom the general public to accept their fallen, broken lifestyles and lies.
We have to say NO to all of this. Time to stop the grooming of adults AND children!
Tracy Shannon married a man and divorced a “woman.”
She had no early indication that her husband and high school sweetheart had a desire to become a woman and the clues were slow in becoming apparent.
He started shaving his legs, saying that his physically demanding job made his jeans pull his leg hair out, she said. But at first, she didn’t think it was more than a personal quirk.
“I just thought that was so ridiculous because I’ve never heard of any guy’s jeans pulling their hair out on their legs,” she said.
Then she found out he secretly painted his nails through the sharp scent of acetone in the bathroom.
Shannon said she realized he had a problem.
But when she visited a counselor with him, the doctor told her she was crazy to oppose his desires.

“The lady told me that I’m very closed-minded because I’m not down with the cross-dressing,” Shannon said. “She suggested that he could go and do this on weekends with a bunch of guys, and I would never have to see it.”
Shannon’s husband’s choice to indulge his fantasies of being a woman “shattered” his family and left his three children vulnerable, she said.
Today, she runs the Texas chapter of Mass Resistance.
Mass Resistance was founded in 1994 to “confront assaults on the traditional family, school children, and the moral foundation of society,” according to its website. Today, the group has chapters in more than 16 states.
Unlike many people who criticize the transgender movement, she doesn’t speak from anonymity. The stakes are too high, she said.
“There’s nothing more precious in our children that we could lose. A job is replaceable,” she said.
The Epoch Times attempted to contact Shannon’s husband, but was unable to find him.
Steeped in Manipulation
Shannon’s experience with transgenderism began in 1998 before the movement went mainstream, she said.
“They didn’t even use the word transgender back then,” she said.
But it was a foretaste of what many Americans would soon experience.
Shannon describes herself as a “trans widow.” Her husband chose to change himself so much that it was effectively like death.
Although society rarely sympathizes with men who break marriage vows to go after younger women, people often sympathize with men who break marriage vows to be “happy” as a transgender “woman,” Shannon said.
Often, strangers ask her if her husband is happy now.
“If my ex had simply just left for a younger, hotter edition, nobody would say something that cold to me. But I get that all the time,” she said.
“I think that is the most insulting thing because a commitment to marriage should mean something,” Shannon said. “Children mean something.”
Shannon isn’t the only trans widow. An increasing number of women have seen husbands vanish in quests to become “women.”
According to Shannon, her husband’s pursuit of “happiness” was steeped in manipulation from the beginning.
He only told her he liked to cross-dress after the birth of their first child, she said. But he added that he had known this fact from the beginning of their relationship.
He said he had considered telling her on previous occasions, but chose not to.
“I didn’t want to tell you, because I didn’t think you would marry me,” she recalled her husband saying.
For Shannon’s husband, the idea of becoming feminine was linked to sexual pleasure, she said.
One day, she found him sexually excited while shaving his legs in the bathroom, she recalled.
“Why do you get such a kick out of shaving your legs?” she recalls wondering.
On other occasions, he asked her if he could pretend to be a lesbian during sex, she said.
Later, Shannon learned her husband had autogynephilia, a form of sexual response in men characterized by sexual arousal over the idea of being or becoming female.
“In my gut, I knew it was a form of infidelity, like an elusive ‘other woman’… but until I learned what an autogynephile was, I had no word or explanation for what I witnessed,” Shannon said.
Counseling a Trap
When her husband admitted to these desires, Shannon agreed with him to visit a counselor, she said.
But it was a trap, she said. The counselor had already been meeting with her husband and supported him.
“I went there the first time, not knowing she was an LGBT counselor, and she was someone that they recommended to the community of crossdressers,” she said.
Moreover, the counselor suggested that Shannon was a lesbian, she added. If Shannon was attracted to a man who wanted to be a woman, it meant she wanted a romantic relationship with a woman.
“We have to take everybody else’s word for what they are,” Shannon said. “But if you say you’re straight and you know it, there’s ‘something wrong with you.’”
Instead of helping her husband to change his behavior, the counselor suggested that her husband keep secrets better, Shannon said.
If he bought his women’s underwear, took her underwear, shaved his legs, put on makeup, and went out to bars with other transgender people without Shannon’s knowledge, it would be fine.
“No, I don’t want my spouse to have a separate life from me. That sounds crazy,” Shannon recalls replying.
Finally, the counselor said her husband didn’t know if he was a man or a woman, she recalled. Shannon said she reacted by telling the counselor that if that was true, she needed a divorce.
Her husband responded to that by saying he didn’t actually want to be a woman, Shannon said. But behind her back, he took female hormones.
Hormone Therapy
In 1998, the therapist Shannon saw with her husband gave him a letter to let him begin gender transition, she said.
Shannon said she never got notified of this development throughout her husband’s 11 years of hormone use.
In the meantime, her husband lied about the symptoms of his hormone use, she said.

He developed breast buds. He told Shannon that it was a side effect of the obsessive-compulsive disorder meds he took to manage his cross-dressing desires.
“When I learned he did this on purpose I felt violated by him and the doctors involved. I did not consent to this fantasy of ‘being lesbians.’ It is violating, unethical and cruel,” she said.
She said she found out he had been on hormones for a decade when she read chat messages between him and his lover.
“I still cannot believe a therapist or doctor will do this without a spouse knowing,” Shannon said.
One of her pregnancies during this time ended in miscarriage, and another of her children had a birth defect that would have been fatal without correction, said Shannon. She said she wonders if the hormone therapy was a factor.
In 2009, her husband took a woman’s name and started wearing women’s clothing, she said.
When Shannon divorced her husband, he had completely transitioned.
“When we went to court to divorce, I was divorcing a ‘woman’ with a name that was not even on my marriage license. It was all very bizarre,” Shannon said.
Children Involved
After about 12 years of attempting to deal with her husband’s transgenderism, Shannon divorced him, she said.
But her struggle had just begun. Some of the time, her husband had custody of their three children, she said.
He soon cohabited with his lover, a woman who wanted to be a man, Shannon said.
This woman was dangerous, she added. At times, the woman threatened to kill her husband and her children.
“She was abusive towards my kids,” Shannon said.

Furthermore, her husband and his lover tried to involve her children in celebrating sexually different behaviors, she added.
The pair tried to put Shannon’s children on a pro-BDSM gay pride parade float, she said. Her husband’s female lover walked around shirtless to display the scars that replaced her removed breasts.
They also made their home inappropriate for children, Shannon said. They left sex toys out, along with sexually explicit books.
“I always was prayerful for their protection, and I trusted God to bring them through it,” Shannon said. “They’re moving on from all that trauma, one step at a time.”
Today, Shannon’s children don’t see their dad, she said. But that doesn’t mean they don’t feel his loss. Since her divorce, Shannon has remarried.
“They just wanted their dad,” she said of her children.
Without their father, Shannon’s children have faced intense mental suffering, she added.
“Between three kids, there’s been six suicide attempts on different levels of how serious they were,” she said.
When a father decides to become a woman, children don’t understand, she said. Kids need a man in their life, and a “woman” doesn’t fill that need.
“Nature matters. And it matters to children. And they know when they’re missing out,” she said.

Parents and citizens are facing off against wealthy corporations and radical LGBT militants in the battle to stop gruesome “sex-change” procedures (including castration and genital mutilation) being performed on children.
As we’ve reported, our Texas MassResistance chapter has been relentlessly lobbying at the Texas State Capitol and across the state to get this ban passed in the current session. People everywhere are outraged that children are being disfigured for life and sterilized to please a radical ideology.

The legislative session at the Texas State Capitol finishes at the end of May. There are currently two bills in play (dubbed the “Save James” bills):
SB 1646 (Senate) is a very strong bill. It amends the criminal code definition of “child abuse” to include administering or supplying of puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones to a child, or performing surgery on a child, for the purpose of gender transitioning or gender reassignment.
HB 1399 (House) is also important. It would prohibit professional liability insurance from covering medical procedures and treatments for gender transitioning or gender reassignment for children.
On April 28, SB 1646 passed the Texas Senate by a party-line vote, and has been sent to the House, where it must pass before the end of the month. That will probably be the big battle.
The immediate problem is HB 1399. It needs to pass the House this week to be able to go forward to the Senate. But it’s been purposefully stalled in the “Calendar Committee” from coming to a vote. The fight to move it forward has gotten nasty!
This past week: Fighting to keep HB 1399 alive
This past week, Texas MassResistance brought together several other pro-family groups in Texas and organized a full-court press in the State Capitol. Texas MassResistance Director Tracy Shannon, Asst. Director Kevin, and others have been going door to door in the Legislature. Other parents have been holding demonstrations in the hallways to make sure this is on everyone’s mind.
Rally and press conference. On Tuesday, Tracy and Kevin organized a rally and press conference outside the front of the State Capitol, along with other groups. Several prominent statewide elected officials came and spoke at the rally, demanding that HB 1399 be passed!

Rep Bryan Slaton, who is championing these bills and doing a lot of work to get them passed, was the first to speak.
It seems that whenever there's a conservative gathering, a lot of State Police cars show up.

What’s going on behind the scenes
On paper, all this should not be difficult to get passed. The Texas Legislature has a reputation for being one of the most conservative in the country, and the ban is supported by citizens overwhelmingly, especially in conservative districts.
But these ghoulish “sex-change” procedures generate big money for hospitals and “gender clinics.” And the problem is growing. There are now 17 “gender clinics” for children in Texas. There were only 2 or 3 just a few years ago.
The concept of “transitioning” kids is also supported by big corporations like Amazon, HP, and others that have been moving into Texas – as well as the LGBT movement that continues to be obsessed with children. These groups are also very involved in the fight in Texas.
According to reports, many corporations have been threatening their donations to the GOP leadership and are putting other pressure on them. As a result, the Governor, Lt. Governor, and House Speaker have been have in turn been pressuring other GOP legislative leaders (especially in the House) to make sure the bills don’t pass.
Thus, many key “conservative” Texas Republican legislators are playing “kabuki theater” with their constituents. They publicly support these bills. Many have even co-sponsored them. But in the background they are slow-walking them in the “Calendar Committee” and other venues so they’ll never come up for a House vote. That way they can tell their constituents, “I advocated for these bills,” and at the same time keep the business interests happy. It’s a disgusting sham, but not uncommon in politics.
But our Texas MassResistance parents and activists are on to this fraud. They have been directly confronting the key “conservative” legislators and demanding that they stand up for the people, not the evil corporations. They’ve even been threatening to “primary” them in the next election – with real conservatives. Needless to say, the politicians don’t like that. But that’s what often gets results.
Final thoughts
Words cannot describe how disgusting it is that corporations would put so much effort into continuing these hideous treatments on children – and that so-called “conservative” legislators would cave in. But our Texas MassResistance parents and citizens are not standing for this. They’re taking off the gloves and giving the legislators treatment they aren’t used to from their constituents.
There are two more weeks to go. We’ll keep up the fight!

The LGBT movement’s dark obsession with children has rarely been so blatant. Few pro-family groups are willing to openly confront that – but MassResistance is an exception!
As we’ve recently reported, Texas MassResistance has been lobbying hard for three important bills moving forward in the Texas Legislature (dubbed the “Save James” bills). These would stop “sex-change” procedures on children. People are outraged that children are being disfigured for life and sterilized to please a radical ideology.
The bills have been aggressively opposed by the LGBT movement as well as big business. Children’s “sex-change” treatments are a huge money-maker for big pharma and “gender clinics.”
One of the opposition’s more distasteful strategies has been to harass and intimidate legislators supporting these bills with loud “protests” by hideous transgender activists at the doors of their home-town local offices.
One target, Rep. Lynn Stuckey (R-District 64), has been a consistent conservative on pro-family issues. But when lobbyists noticed that he was starting to waver over pressure on these bills, they saw him as an easy target. So on April 21, a horde of transgender activists descended on his local office in Denton, TX (a northern suburb of Dallas/Ft. Worth), hoping he’d cave.

The usual LGBT dishonesty. In fact, the best way to protect "trans lives" and "trans youth" is to give them the psychological help they need, not cruelly mutilate their bodies.
Not surprisingly, they twist and distort the Bible. Her sign says: "Jesus Loves Trans Kids. Be like Jesus." (If you love trans kids, don't mutilate their bodies!)
But it didn’t quite work out the way they planned. Kevin Whitt, our Texas MassResistance Assistant Director, had caught wind of the demonstration and quickly organized a robust counter-protest just several yards away. The LGBT crowd was clearly rattled. Telling the truth about what they’re doing to children tends to have that effect on them, and our people were not afraid to do it!
Our group was fairly close to them, and definitely raining on their parade!
At one point, one of them came over to “dialogue” with our people. That is a common LGBT tactic when their opposition is resolute; they try to defuse our arguments and energy. But that didn’t work this time, either!

We weren't in to mood to "dialogue." Here is some of the interaction:
MassResistance: Why can’t you wait until these children are adults?
Trans activist: Because their emotional evolving is absolutely at stake.
MassResistance: No. Only an adult can make that choice. The ramifications are huge. It’s castration. It’s genital mutilation.
Trans activist: They’re not doing that surgery at the clinics in Texas.
MassResistance: Yes, they are doing surgeries on 14-year-olds. And that is a proven fact.
Trans activist: Top surgery?
MassResistance: Yes. In Austin. And other places.
Trans activist: OK. I care about it. Any surgery is significant. But I also believe that there are some things that are worth it.
MassResistance: There are people who suffer from identity disorders well into adulthood, and it’s not just a matter of surgery to fix that. Doing this to a child is nuts … Gender dysphoria is a real mental illness.
The police were standing nearby, but didn't need to get involved.
Our efforts were successful! We spoke with Rep. Stuckey’s office today. His staff told us that he is now solidly on board support all three “Save James” bills. We’re pleased that he got the message that the LGBT movement is the wrong group to listen to in Texas!
Final thoughts
Many pro-family people around the country believe that the transgender activists and their allies who fight against this kind of legislation are simply concerned, honest folks who have a misguided opinion on this issue. Our people often think that if we talk it through with them, they will see the truth.
Unfortunately, that is completely wrong. We’ve interacted with the other side many times over the years. They know full well what this does to children. They can see it themselves. And they certainly hear what we’ve been saying. But they don’t care. Their hatred of traditional values and their desire to be accepted by their friends is very powerful. They lie to themselves and to everyone else. And as we’ve all observed, many of the “activists” clearly have their own mental health problems that fuel that behavior. And they’re obsessed with “identity” and sexuality issues.
The only thing that’s effective is to stand up to them and never back down to their lies, anger, and hysteria.

MassResistance parents and activists across Texas are fighting hard to get their State Senators and Representatives to pass important legislation to protect children from bodily mutilation, sterilization, puberty blockers, and other experimental “sex-change” surgeries and procedures. Texas MassResistance, with help from some other groups, has taken the lead in tirelessly lobbying to get this legislation passed into law this year.
Dubbed the “Save James” legislation, six bills have been filed in the Texas House and Senate that would ban these gruesome procedures on minors. The bills are named for James Younger, a 10-year-old boy whom a judge has ordered to go through “sex-change” treatments against his father’s wishes, but with the blessing of his left-wing pro-LGBT mother. The father, Jeff Younger, has been very outspoken against what is happening to his son – and MassResistance supported him.
But our activists are up against a cabal of wealthy national corporations that are threatening Texas politicians – vowing to take action against the state if any of these bills pass. Performing these procedures on children has become a huge money-maker for hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry. And national corporations, whose leaders are pro-LGBT and have no morals regarding children, want to strongly signal how “enlightened” they are and thus aggressively support their allies in this radical agenda.

On March 10, Texas MassResistance kicked off the lobbying blitz with a press conference outside the Texas State Capitol. Jeff Younger gave a chilling speech about what the state has done to his son.

Protesting the Dallas “Gender Clinic”
Then on March 19, MassResistance activists converged outside of the notorious Dallas Children’s Hospital “Genecis Clinic” (which performs so-called "gender-affirming" care) to publicly protest the terrible quackery that this “medical facility” is performing on children.
To the consternation of hospital officials, they brought signs and a bullhorn.

Several police cars came to disperse the protesters, but the our people refused to leave and the police ultimately backed down and allowed them to stay until they were finished.
Police were called to break up the demonstration ...
... But when the protesters engaged with the police and reminded them that public money helped fund this hospital, they backed down and let the demonstration continue.
Intense lobbying at the Texas State Capitol
After that, our lobbying at the Texas State Capitol intensified. A number of legislators and their aides are now working with us directly. The word is getting out that the people of Texas strongly support these protections for children.

Corporations jumping into the battle – against parents and science
On Tuesday, April 6, the Arkansas legislature voted to override the RINO Governor’s veto of the Arkansas “Save Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act,” thereby becoming the first state to pass a law protecting children from being harmed for life by the LGBT movement. Immediately, the mainstream media began wailing about children being denied “gender-affirming care” – a monstrous corruption of the truth:
Two days later USA Today published an op-ed by a group of national corporate leaders announcing that they are organizing a corporate effort to target the Texas Legislature (and possibly other states) to stop the "Save James" legislation. Citing the recent Arkansas law, they intend to do whatever is necessary to stop similar bills from passing in any other state.
They plan to use not only threats of economic boycotts, but also absurd “studies” that “anti-LGBT” laws would have a negative impact on Texas’ economy totaling in the billions of dollars. And of course, they would bring in medical “experts” to support these lunatic procedures.
Parents fighting back as public hearings start next week
But our activists are pushing forward at full speed. We have just found out that two of the “Save James” bills will have public hearings next week in the Texas State Senate. (We don’t yet know when the other bills will be heard.)

We will have a team of true medical experts submit testimony to these hearings, as well as others who have personal experience with this horrible issue. Several will be there personally. We plan to be fully prepared to confront any and all misinformation and bullying that the other side uses.
Final thoughts
Corporate America is horrible enough. But it is truly frightening how thoroughly the medical establishment has bought into this destructive nonsense and complete medical quackery. Below is a letter that appeared in the left-wing Boston Globe on April 8. It’s an example of the toxic Orwellian drivel we get more and more of from the intellectual class. This “pediatrician” should have her medical license taken away.
