The Controversies at LifeSiteNews

John Henry-Westen, the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of LifeSiteNews, was recently removed from his position by the LifeSiteNews board. Then he got reinstated.

These moves caught much of the pro-life, pro-family, religious conservative world off guard. That’s saying a great deal, considering that pro-life and pro-family conservatives have seen all kinds of moral decline and degradation becoming the norm throughout the West. Pro-family fighters have witnessed same-sex “marriage,” rising defenses for pedophilia, and the increased push for assisted suicide. So little shocks us now.

What’s going on here? Should we be concerned? Why is one of the flagship pro-family (and anti-LGBT) news sites facing such leadership turmoil?

First, let’s talk about LifeSiteNews.

This Catholic-based news site has rigorously and accurately documented the downfall and decline of a De-Christianized West. For years, their commentary and confrontation on these matters commanded respect. They even republished the activist reporting from the organization I work for—MassResistance—because of our unwavering commitment against the LGBT agenda in all of its perverse forms.

LifeSiteNews did not back away from calling out moral corruption. To their credit, they were not only unafraid to call out the wrongs and evils of homosexuality and transgenderism. They were a welcome voice for social conservatives like me because they unflinchingly criticized the Republican Party, including President Trump, as they cozied up to so-called LGBT “conservatives” infiltrating the larger conservative movement. Their countercultural attack on mainstream conservatism gave me hope in spite of the growing fecklessness or cowardice of conservative leadership to oppose same-sex “marriage”, adoption, and the like.

So, what’s going on at LifeSiteNews? Is the leadership getting soft, embracing pro-“gay” messaging? Not a chance.

Rather, the news site has taken a dark turn on another set of issues.

For the last two years, I noticed the site’s publishing an increasing number of anti-Israel, anti-Zionist articles on many policy fronts. They were cataloguing the so-called war crimes of the IDF and blasting American politicians and foreign policy makers as puppets of Israel.

Here’s a sample:

Orthodox rabbi: Zionism a ‘cardinal sin’ for Jews, creation of Israel is ‘satanic’

Zionism: Rebellion against God?! | Rabbi speaks out

Why is a Catholic-oriented news site interviewing a Rabbi? And why are they going off on Israel and Zionism?

Oh, and it gets better (or rather, worse). They talk about the horrendous “Israel Lobby” that supposedly controls Washington:

GOP Congressman Thomas Massie exposes Zionist lobby’s power over Congress

Leaked audio exposes Israel lobby’s enormous power over the Trump administration

WATCH: Candace Owens exposes the Israel lobby’s stranglehold on America

For what it’s worth, Candace Owens has been exposed as an intellectual lightweight with a shaky grasp of the facts. She celebrated Andrew Tate, a serial pornographer under indictment for sex trafficking, while denouncing pornography. She also claimed that Hitler was not that bad.

Regarding the purported power of AIPAC, most of their funding goes to Democrats, and the Democratic Party has become increasingly hostile to Israel. As for Congressman  Massie, his performance theater against big spending is starting to wear thin. He never called out the big spending from his fellow US Senators, and he voted for liberal Republican Tom Emmer to be the next Speaker of the House this year. The focus and subject matter of these reports leave much to be desired.

And sadly, LifeSiteNews has thrown itself into the USS Liberty conspiracy. (I refute those talking points here.)

In 2023, Patrick Delaney, one of the editors at LifeSiteNews, wrote, “Orthodox patriarchate condemns ‘Israeli radicals’ for attacking bishop, priest at Church of Gethsemane.”

Yes, there are Jewish radicals, as there are radicals in other religions. What is conspicuously missing from this coverage, however, is the widespread denunciation from other Jews against such abuses. In contrast, Islamic militants have committed all sorts of crimes and terrorism against innocents—Christian, Jew, Muslim—and there is no condemnation from residents in Gaza or Judea and Samaria of their hostilities.

For the record, the Israeli government has cracked down on hyper-orthodox adherents harassing Christians, and local Rabbis raised funds to help repair a Catholic church attacked by Jewish radicals, too.

In 2024, Delaney wrote a particularly egregious article, claiming that Israel was conducting a “genocide” against the residents of Gaza following the October 7th, 2023 terrorist attack from Hamas:

Israeli soldiers celebrate the ‘torturing, humiliating, and mocking’ of Palestinians on social media

I refused to remain quiet in the face of these blatant lies. I wrote an extensive response email (republished here), refuting the libelous claims about Israel and American foreign policy vis-à-vis the Jewish State. I focused on the redefinition of “genocide.” I also pointed out that his using “Al-Jazeera” as a legitimate news source is suspect.

Delaney responded, and he provided a broad mixture of half-truths and misdefinitions to justify his dishonest arguments.

LifeSiteNews eventually printed my letter, along with Delaney’s response (InfoWars republished the article, too!), but referred to me as “William” and called me a “Christian Zionist journalist,” presumably as a smear. I wear such terms as a badge of honor. The most damning aspect of Delaney’s defense of calling Israel’s attacks on Hamas “genocide” rested on his contortion of the term to include any form of fighting in a combat zone!

With all of this information in the background, let’s get to the firing and rehiring (?) of John Henry-Westen.

LifeSiteNews Co-Founder and Managing Editor Steve Jalsevac released a statement regarding Westen’s departure:

While legal constraints prevent us from delving into extensive detail, I can share that the decision was influenced by several factors, including a 72% drop in readership from 2021 to 2024 during John-Henry’s tenure as CEO, a decline in monthly and new donors, and other business challenges. Additionally, an internal survey revealed significant concerns regarding staff sentiment and safety scores, which further informed the board’s considerations.

Nonprofits have to keep the money flowing, but should stick to their principles. A steep drop-off of nearly three-quarters of your readership is troubling.

I can guess why LifeSiteNews is losing readers and donors:

The Pro-Hamas, Anti-Israel Propaganda!

Truth matters in the fight against moral and sexual degradation. When a Catholic-based news site insists on pushing pro-terrorist propaganda, venturing into foreign policy conspiracy theories, they are embracing lies, one can expect that their once-faithful readership will be repulsed.

And now, we receive word that John Henry-Westen has been reinstated.

Surprisingly, the site issued a very short reinstatement statement:

The LifeSiteNews Board of Directors voted today to restore John-Henry Westen to his former position.

“John-Henry Westen has been recognized by the board as the President and CEO of lifesitenews.com Inc. subject to administrative review and investigation.”

C.J. Doyle of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts issued the following analysis:

"This is likely the only time in the history of corporate governance that a statement restoring a CEO showed even less cordiality than the statement which announced his firing.

The brevity, timing and language of the announcement all suggest a profound reluctance, or even resentment, on the part of those who issued it.

It was released at 5:47 EDT on a Friday afternoon, a time best suited to minimize publicity on a story that a corporation or a government agency wishes to bury.

The use of the word 'recognized', rather than the more usual 're-appointed' is curious. It might suggest that the previous vote was somehow improper or legally defective.

The inclusion of the phrase 'subject to administrative review and investigation' suggests continued hostility towards Westen by the Board of Directors.

There is also a striking omission. There is no mention of Westen being restored as Editor-in-Chief of LifeSiteNews, a position specifically referenced in his termination announcement.”

LifeSiteNews is losing readers, then they bungled the removal of the CEO. C.J. Doyle’s analysis makes sense. Potential litigation often scares organizations into a quick, unexplained course correction.

But did the board fire Westen because of the website’s increasing embrace of anti-Zionist propaganda? One of the frequent commentators on the site, Peter LaBarbera, shared with me that Westen was not removed because of the anti-Zionist turn in reporting: “It wasn’t about the Israel bashers. They’re still there!” He encouraged me to reach out to one of their main contributors, who privately shared his criticism of the anti-Zionism turn in reporting, but that writer has not gotten back to me yet.

If the LifeSiteNews board of directors can’t see how their dishonest reporting on the Arab-Israeli conflict is affecting readers, then they should be fired!

If LifeSiteNews editors want to maintain life on their site to report the news, they need to get back to reporting … news! All the anti-Zionist propaganda, I submit, is the real turn-off, turning off the donations and views.

The larger question remains: why publish such anti-Israeli (and thus anti-Semitic) garbage? One suspects that the site, based in Canada, is trying to placate an increasing Muslim population. Perhaps they are buying into the engagement harvesting that comes with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Whatever the reason, they need a major course-correction if they want to survive.

Pastor Scott Lively Explains: "Replacement Theology is a Fraud"

 A CAUTION TO THORN KICKERS

The most famous Jew of the Bible, after the Judean Jesus, was Paul, the self-described “Pharisee of Pharisees.” That chief persecutor of Christians, who was known first by his Hebrew name Saul, adopted the Latinized version “Paul” after being famously, uniquely saved and anointed for service by the ascended Christ Himself on the road to Damascus in Acts 22. When giving that testimony to King Agrippa in Acts 26:14, Paul reported that Jesus had said “in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”

To kick against pricks (thorns) has ever since been a metaphor for foolishly harming oneself by persisting in futile acts against God’s will. Significantly, the thorns in question were almost certainly from the same plant of which Jesus’ Crown of Thorns was made: “Euphorbia Milii,” known commonly today as “Christ thorn.” That crown was the first element of the Romans' mocking tribute to "The King of the Jews" in John 19.

Paul believed he was serving God by opposing the Christians but was only hurting himself because he didn’t understand God’s plan for the church until his spiritual eyes were opened -- by being (temporarily) physically struck blind.

Likewise, many Christians in today’s “anti-Zionist” camp don’t understand God’s plan for the Jews and are thus “kicking against the pricks” by denying their right to the Holy Land.

As God’s post-conversion Apostle to the Gentiles, the Jews’-Jew-become-Christian Paul was uniquely qualified for his special mission as God’s messenger to non-Jews and his letters provide us most of the reasoned systematic theology that defines Christianity. God’s perspective about the Jews and Judaism is scattered throughout Paul’s letters, but is most complete in his Letter to the Romans, including the critical question of how Gentiles are to treat Jews in the Gentile age, filling the entire 11th chapter, key excerpts of which follow:

I [Paul] ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew....What Israel [as a whole] was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect [those few Jews who accepted Christ] did. The others were hardened...I ask then, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous...For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?...Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

“You will say then, ‘Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.’ That is correct: ... And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved [at the Second Coming, when]...The Deliverer will come from Zion...For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.

Romans 11 is an unequivocal proof-text against “supercessionism” (replacement theology) which holds that the church fully replaced the Hebrews as the beneficiary of His covenant. Supercessionism (and its pernicious cousin punative supercessionism) is the great error of Roman Catholicism (which was largely retained by Protestantism in the reformation), justifying the persecution of the Jews in many pogroms throughout history, and in turn causing Jews to create their own culture-shaping/controlling mechanisms in self-defense, as God gave them the power to do (Genesis 22:17c).

[My only goal in stating this observation is to seek the objective truth above that fray. I have come to believe that much, or perhaps most of world history in the Age of the Gentiles has been shaped by a largely behind-the-scenes war for world control between the institutions of Roman Catholicism and Talmudic Judaism. I have launched a new book research project on this hypothesis with the working title of "Judah Under the Gentiles."]

As much as I love both Roman Catholic and Talmudic Jewish friends whom I have known, both religious camps represent a departure from Scripture through the undue elevation of (sometimes but not always false) human-created doctrines and interpretations that came to define them. But just as Paul noted in Romans 11:2-5, there has always been a remnant of true believers in both Christianity and Judaism (which fact does not nullify John 14:6).

Rising Concerns About Anti-Semitism--and Facts to Rebut the Hatred

Hatred of Jews has been a sad phenomenon in the world for millennia.

From Ancient Rome to the present day, Jew-hatred has emerged like a quiet plague capturing entire countries along with intellects and ideological movements.

Its resurgence among so-called "conservatives" in general and the alt-right in particular is alarming. One month ago, in my own home town of Torrance, CA, I started talking with a guy right behind me, who liked my Make California Great Again hat.

Then he immediately veered into conspiracy theories about "The Jews" and their role in 9-11. Immediately, I asked him for proof of this conspiracy. He had absolutely nothing to offer, but began to rant and rave about them. It was a disturbing display of hatred, but sadly something that has become increasingly common.

What is this hatred? What is going on?

I submit that this is another demonic force in the world, but more secular reasons for rising Anti-Semitism include the growing influx of Islam and Muslim ideologies into the Western World. The growing secularism and progressive leftist dogma replacing actually thinking and discussions has indoctrinated students to hate Israel and see the Jewish state as a lawless pariah in the midst of victimized Arab nations.

Israel stands as a constant reminder to the world that there is a God, and the keenest intellects and strongest powers cannot compare. There are Orthodox Jews for a marginal variety who are anti-Zionists, too, but their fundamental misunderstand of God's Word and ways explains this misplaced thinking.

Most people are jealous of Jews, many of who excel in different fields of learning, research,
entrepreneurship, finance, and other professions. The answer should not be hatred, but a willingness to see what values these communities have embraced. There is a strong, fervent love of education, for example, plus an extended commitment to family and voluntary community organizations. They fall back on a solid sense of identity, too, regardless of political views.

Who can dismiss the blessings of Abraham, which are available to all who believe on Him, not just to the Jews but the Gentiles, too.

Other misunderstandings about Judaism feed this fear and ultimately dislike of Jews.

Consider this tweet sent to me by a good friend in Orange County:

First of all, I know many Jews who do not hate Christians at all, even if they do not believe in Jesus Christ.

Second of all, more Jews DO believe that Jesus is the Messiah. The numbers are growing daily, and Jewish Christians proclaim their faith not just in the United States, but even in Israel.

Third, the Talmud is not considered inspired Scripture. Whatever comments one finds in these writings is suspect at best.

Other arguments focus predominantly on Israel, that the Jewish state is illegitimate because the nation exists in Occupied territory. However, anti-Israel sentiment has merely turned into an easy, more politically correct form of anti-Semitism, since the critics can simply argue "I am criticizing the nation, not the people."

However, in one video/interview on the Red Elephants, Vincent James was interviewing a survivor of one of the worst fog of war tragedies in modern history: the friendly fire and bombing of the USS Liberty by Israel forces in the Mediterranean Sea.

Six separate standing committees investigated this tragedy and concluded that this event was a tragic accident, not some kind of deliberate attack from Israel to bring the United States into the Six Day War. The Israeli government didn't even need the United States to step in, since the Israeli army, despite its small size, routed the surrounding hostile nations.

But for one of the survivors of the USS Liberty who was commenting on James' show, his hatred of Israel went from the false flag attack to an outright end to the "Occupation of Palestine." He would delegitimize the entire state of Israel because of one military attack committed by the army under one Israeli government? Really?! It seems to me that anti-Semites merely look for some kind of legitimate reason to attack Israel and then justify their rounded hatred for the nation.

There have been paramilitary missions by Zionist terrorists--but those actions have been widely condemned by the current Israel government and political leaders in the country.

Israel is the closest thing to a liberal, Western democratic government where men and women of all ethnic backgrounds can live and thrive. In fact, the United States and Israel share a number of common ideological interests: free speech, freedom of the press, strategic interest in the spread of Western values in the backward Arab world.

They also have a common enemy in Iran. When President Trump withdrew from the Iran deal, they didn't burn Israeli flags, but American ones. The Islamic regime has viewed the United States as the greater enemy for decades, but in part because of our alliance with Israel.

Is Israel the truly bellicose power in the region? Did Israel "steal land" from the Arabs?

No.

The idea of allowing Jews to immigrate to what was termed Palestine occurred as far back as the late 1870s. Jews found their state increasingly precarious due to revivals of anti-Semitism--again--throughout Western Europe. The Dreyfus affair proved to many Jews that they needed to have their own homeland.

By the way, the historical and archaeological record bear out that the region between Egypt and Syria along the Mediterranean has been in Jewish/Israeli hands for centuries. Following the conquest of the region by the Ottoman Empire in 1517, the region still had Jewish settlements, many of which grew slowly over time. Salutory neglect set into the region during the 19th centuries, and more Jewish settlers arrived in a region which had lain dormant and neglected for nearly two centuries.

Jews purchased the land for exorbitant prices, driven up by greedy Muslim leaders who had taken advantage of the Arab populations and pressured them to sell their land at a lower price. The cultivated and developed the territory into a restored paradise. So much so, that the King of Jordan, no friend of the Jews, could not help but marvel at the beauty and prosperity restored to the region.

From the Late 1920s until the founding of the Jewish State in 1948, a number of successive commissions and resolutions affirmed an established legal process for the creation of Israel. The government did not drive out Arabs in the region but welcomed them to stay. Most of the "Palestinian refugees" left the region at the urging of hostile Arab leaders in the area who were committed to pushing the Jews into the sea and taking back the territory.

In 1948, 1967, and 1973, the Jewish population survived one violent war after another, yet survived and willingly traded land for peace again and again.

Still no end to the Jew-hatred.

It's time for the world, and some of these would-be "Conservatives" to stop blaming Israel for the woes of the Arab World or the wars erupting in the Middle East. It's time for the Arabs to stop looking at themselves as victims, to give up their cult-like attachment to Islam, and embrace the Judeo-Christian ethic of Western Civilization.

LA Free Speech Rally in Santa Monica: Confronting Anti-Semitic Brainwashing

The LA Free Speech Rally was a huge success.

There was only one contentious set of moments for me, and it had nothing to do with anti-Trump sentiment or angry liberals threatening us--although that happened twice.

One young man, who went by the name of "Michael", announced to everyone that he had driven all the way from Temecula to meet with fellow Trump supporters and rally for Free Speech.

Then I listened to some of the views he had to share.

I have never been so shocked and disturbed.

Following a brief poll of hands raised whether anyone did not support the state of Israel, this young man raised his hand.

And the reasons why were even more disturbing, in part because they were hard to follow.

I am a hard-core Zionist and I do not apologize for it.

I do not hide my love for the state of Israel, nor does my respect for the state of Israel mean that I support every decision of the Israel government.

I do not support going back to the types and shadows of the Torah. There are more Jews who believe in Jesus, based on the Hebrew Scriptures, tat he

Here is the final segment of the video that I uploaded following the Facebook Live feed I recorded at Santa Monica's Palisades Park:

Michael advertised himself as a conservative, and a Trump supporter.

He also called himself a conservative and a Christian.

"I do not support Zionism. I do not support the state of Israel."

When he signaled to the group that he was not a support of Israel, I had to follow up on this.

How can he claim to be a Christian and not support the Jewish State?

The existence of Israel falls in line with Biblical prophecy, an essential party of God's final will for the last days.

I gave him two scriptures (even though there are more):

"Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." (Isaiah 66:8)

and

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." (Zechariah 12:2)

I could have also mentioned:

"For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation." (Psalm 132: 13)

Or how about the outlines of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants:

"18In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:19The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,21And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites." (Genesis 15: 18-21)

At first, he was willing to talk to me. He admitted that his views were controversial. Certainly, because it does not line up with a welcome embrace of Judeo-Christian values.

Then he shared his concerns about Zionism--which he refused to define for me.

I offered him my definition as a departure point: "Support for the Jewish State and support for Jewish people all over the world to make aliyah, or to relocate to their homeland."

A more historical answer stems from the movement by Theodor Herschel to grant Jewish people in Europe a homeland where they would be safe from the latent and rising anti-Semitism in Europe.

The he uttered of the most alarming statements I have heard in a long:

"We have seene global Jewry."

WHAT?!

The argument beneath this phrase suggests that Jewish people are colluding together to take over the world. Such rhetoric hearkens back to the anti-Semitism of the late 1800s--which precipitated Zionism as well as the Nazi and Stalinist regimes during and after World War II.

Then he shared the following:

"One problem I have with Zionism is the complete Jewish control of the media,"

Alarm bells went off in my head when I heard this.

Such nonsense is a lie propagated by the Czarist forgery "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", specifically Protocol XII:

PROTOCOL No. 12

1. The word "freedom," which can be interpreted in various ways, is defined by us as follows -
2. Freedom is the right to do what which the law allows. This interpretation of the word will at the proper time be of service to us, because all freedom will thus be in our hands, since the laws will abolish or create only that which is desirable for us according to the aforesaid program.
3. We shall deal with the press in the following way: what is the part played by the press to-day? It serves to excite and inflame those passions which are needed for our purpose or else it serves selfish ends of parties ... I BEG YOU TO NOTE THAT AMONG THOSE MAKING ATTACKS UPON US WILL ALSO BE ORGANS ESTABLISHED BY US, BUT THEY WILL ATTACK EXCLUSIVELY POINTS THAT WE HAVE PRE-DETERMINED TO ALTER.

WE CONTROL THE PRESS

The Protocol text pushed this brazen lie. "We control the press."

No, "The Jews" do not control "the press" -- and I apologize for using so many scare quotes, but it's pretty scary how young minds like Michael and perhaps other alt-right white nationalists are falling in

The Russian secret police concocted then spread the falsehoods of Jews collaborating to overrun democratic institutions, including the press, media, and corporations.

This is scary stuff, people. The "Protocols" have been thoroughly debunked for at least a century ...

Yet this young man was spouting of the items in those false reports as though they were fact.

Now, this event was a free speech rally, and instead of labeling him brainwashed or an anti-Semite, I asked him to prove his point.

He crumbled immediately. I asked him for proof that every major media owner was Jewish.

Then I pointed out that just because certain high-profile media moguls are Jews does not mean that they are all united in some corrupt scheme to lie to everyone and take over the world.

For the record, News Corps. is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who not only is NOT Jewish, but faced some heated criticism for talking about a "Jewish-owned press":
The owners of the Washington Post and its parent company are not Jews, either.

Back to Michael ...

The more that I pressed on Michael to explain his criticism of Zionism, the more he refused to explain his views on Jewish people or the Jewish state.

He then crossed over into his vocal opposition to Communism and multiculturalism.

OK--I disagree with those movements, too, absolutely.

Then he wanted to claim that 80% of the Communist Revolution in the Soviet Union were Bolsheviks, which means "Jewish".

HUH?

I looked up this connection, too, regarding the militant wing of the Russia Communists which later overthrew the Czarist regime.

First, from Wikipedia:

Jewish Bolshevism, also known as Judeo-Bolshevism, is an antisemitic and anti-communist canard which alleges that the Jews were at the origin of the Russian Revolution and held the primary power among Bolsheviks. Similarly, the Jewish Communism theory implies that Jews have been dominating the Communist movements in the world. It is similar to the ZOG conspiracy theory, which asserts that Jews control world politics.[1] The expressions have been used as a catchword for the assertion that Communism is a Jewish conspiracy.

In fact, many of the criminal, megalomaniacal movers and shakers in global communism have NOT been Jews!

Pol Pot
Vladmir Lenin
Joseph Stalin
Mao Ze Dong
Che Guevara

Yes, Leon Trotsky was a Communist, and Jewish--but he opposed Zionism! The notion of a Jewish State was foolish to him!

The notion that Zionism is a backdoor entry for Communism is total folly--and note that this link has nothing to do with Michael's unjustified argument that the Jews control the media.

Because they don't. Even if there are individual Jewish people who head media corporations, that does not indicate a Jewish cabal trying to brainwash people and take over the world.

How did Jewish people fare under the Soviet Union? Ask freedom fighter Natan Sharansky, who was jailed as a prisoner of conscience, living in constant fear throughout his childhood and formative years. Throughout the Soviet regime, Anti-Semitism was official condemned, but the religious ideology was rigidly atheistic.

Add to that the political conflicts fomented by rival factions within the Soviet Union, which many times scapegoated Jews--including Trotsky.

Not only that, but if "The Jews" are really trying to take over the world, why are they the #1 victims of hate crimes?

Jewish people. Check out the FBI crime statistics from 2012 here.

In Toronto, Jews are the most targeted for hate crimes. Check here.

So ... again, back to Michael.

Notice that I did not shut him down immediately when he claimed that the Jews control the press.

I asked him for proof, which he claimed that he could not find (poor Internet connection? Not true. I was recording him on Facebook live with no problems). He even claimed that all the major reporters have some kind of Jewish last name, too!

Incredible. He got jittered, then he got angry. He told me twice that he wanted to end the discussion. I would not let him get away with ending our conversation.

"Uh, I do support Israel, but I am not a Zionist!"
Confused?!

Then my camera's battery ran out.

Afterwards, he insisted on attacking me (without identifying me by name)--but he refused to explain what we were talking about. On Harim's livefeed, viewers rebutted Michael's arguments, because I did indeed allow him to speak, and I asked him repeatedly to define his terms.

But slowly yet surely, it was clear that Michael has been brainwashed with some serious anti-Semitic hatred. He also tried to double-talk his way out of his previous assertions. "I have no problem with the state of Israel" Huh? He had started out stating his opposition to the state of Israel.

"I am not a conservative." Then he claimed that he was a traditionalist, which is essential conservatism.

Individuals of this stripe are lurking and making a stance on their views. It's very important for all of us to confront these false ideas as strongly as possible without attacking individual citizens. White nationalism, white supremacy, or these other alt-right movements are all wrong.

God bless the great state of Israel!

And God Bless America!
