SacBee Hack Cartoonist Plays Victim Instead of Respecting West Valley Trump Supporter

On Monday, July 2nd, I issued the following press release to combat the social media mob hatefest against LA County Trump supporter Roslyn La Liberte:

Torrance, CA--

LA County for Trump wishes to inform the public that Roslyn La Liberte has become the victim of a vicious, unsubstantiated set of media attacks because of false information released to the public.

Alan Vargas, an open-borders activist, sent out an inflammatory, false tweet attacking Trump Supporter Roslyn La Liberte, claiming that she had uttered racist epithets at a 14-year old named Joey Luevanos.

Even though both she and the boy have discredited those attacks in one report on Fox 11 News, media personalities such as Joy Reid, Ana Navarro, and Soledad O'Brien have continued to repost and retweet the libelous, misleading information at great length.

"This is absolutely terrible," said Arthur Schaper, member of LA County for Trump. "No one should be shamed or lose their business or livelihood because they want to speak out on issues which they care about, especially in public meetings--where everyone is allowed by law to attend and speak."

Mrs. La Liberte has suffered a substantial loss to her business. Clients have abandoned her because they wrongly believe she made unsolicited, racist verbal attacks at a city council meeting. This social media campaign of malicious hate is libelous and defamatory.

"We urge all major media outlets in the Southern California and National media markets to assist us in combatting the lies and help us correct the record and restore the reputation of our friend and fellow Trump supporter Roslyn La  Liberte," Schaper concluded.

For more information, please contact:

Arthur Schaper

I received the following response from Jack Ohman, the anti-Trump hack cartoonist from the Sacramento Bee:

Re: Media Advisory: Social Media Mob Defames Innocent Trump Supporter Roslyn La Libert Please Help Correct the Record

Mon 7/2, 1:20 PM
You replied on 7/2/2018 1:21 PM.

So, Ohman wants to play victim. "Poor me, poor us, poor left-wing press! We get dinged and mocked and shamed all the time by President Trump!"

Can you blame the President, though? 90% of what the mainstream media puts out there is flagrantly anti-Trump, even though the economy is roaring like crazy for all working people, including black and Hispanic Americans. Working people are finding jobs again. Illegal immigration is finally getting tackled. President Trump's "zero tolerance" policy has been effective at discouraging illegal aliens from entering the country, too. Energy independence is a growing reality for the United States. Our foreign allies respect the United States, and our enemies fear the United States. There is so much to celebrate.

Here's a sample of Ohman's twisted sense of humor (twisted because based on false info):

No mention of the corruption from the mayor of San Juan or the massive waste which defines the bloated, big government abuse in Puerto Rico.

How about this one?

Really? The whole Putin angle? Still?! This is sad!

What a crock.

Remember, Ohman is a cartoon hack, or a cartoonish hack.

It gets better. He wanted to cry about how unfairly the President attacks the press:

Here's a link you may find of interest. President Trump routinely publicly shames and threatens the working press.

Have a nice day.

Cordially,
Jack

P.S. I met Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the Gridiron Dinner. I shook her hand and complimented her on her dress.

I then responded:

There's one difference.

Roslyn is being lied about.

The "Fake News" press routinely lies about others.

Please send me those emails.

Ohman then ignored the unfair smear of Roslyn and continued to play victim:

OK...

Send me three lies that are verifiable.

Then I will be more than happy to oblige you, assuming you don't then dox me.

I gave him a good number of examples:

"Fake News" press, like:

Brian Ross:

www.breitbart.com
Brian Ross is leaving ABC News after his erroneous report on former national security advisor Michael Flynn.

Dan Rather:

www.washingtonpost.com
Dan Rather said yesterday that he will end his nearly 24-year reign as CBS News anchor early next year, setting the terms of his departure instead of waiting for an investigative report on his rushed and admittedly flawed story on President Bush's National Guard service. In saying he will step down ...

How about this guy:

www.nytimes.com
A Massachusetts newspaper reporter has resigned after falsely suggesting the perpetrator of the deadly shooting at a Maryland newspaper was wearing a President Donald Trump-inspired "Make America Great Again" hat.

How about the LA Times freelancer who threaten Mike Cernovich?

Are you going to do a cartoon about how your colleagues can't seem to tell the truth?

Ohman wasn't interested in answering directly the concerns about Roslyn La Liberte.

The liberal, corporate, legacy media doesn't like being confronted on their crap.

They have gotten used to their narrative dominating the political discussion in this country for decades. Now that digital  media in general, and social media in particular, have allowed individual citizens to report  news before the liberal media can take it and distort it.

The left-wing press needs to be held accountable for not reporting the truth, and for pretending that they are objective when they are not just partisan, but petty in their partisanship.

Jack Ohman, TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) Hack

Once again, I think it's unfortunate that these embittered hacks, both in print and picture, would rather denigrate President Trump without any regard for truth, facts, or reality. It's no surprise to me that Ohman gets lots of "hate" mail from Trump supporters. The anti-Trump animus is just sickening, arrogant, and ultimately doomed to fail.

The Decline and Fall of the Daily Breeze

The Daily Breeze has become more left-leaning and less relevant in the expanding news culture. Everyone of us can be journalists, with our phones, our I-pads, our laptops.

There is no longer any reason why any of us have to tolerate the Fake News drivel which assaults us on the local and even the regional newspapers. The Los Angeles Times has become particularly odious, since they have embraced Trump derangement syndrome on an unprecedented level. Their editorial serious "Our Dishonest President" really exposed how dishonest the liberal media have become.

Rob Kuznia, the last great report
at the Daily Breeze

Now, what about the Daily Breeze? They have a Pulitzer Prize-winning reported named Rob Kuznia, He even celebrated the award one year after breaking the landmark corruption scandal of fired Centinela Valley Union High School District Superintendent Jose Fernandez.

He also celebrated with the remaining Daily Breeze staff after he had quit. Yes, he left the Daily Breeze even though he had reached the summit with the newspaper. What happened?

He shared with NPR:

The Daily Breeze won a Pulitzer Prize this week. Reporters Rob Kuznia and Rebecca Kimitch and Frank Suraci, an editor on the small-circulation Los Angeles County newspaper, won the local reporting Pulitzer for a series of stories they did about corruption in a local school district. By the time they received the award, one of the reporters was no longer in journalism - he couldn't afford it. Rob Kuznia now works in publicity at the University of Southern California, where the pay is better. He joins us from our studios in Culver City, Calif.

Ouch! That's terrible. The pay is that bad, that even the most qualified journalists like Rob would rather do something else for a living. That ceratinly says something about the remaining funds which keep hack journalists like Nick Green afloat. Does he even make money as one of the few remaining reporters for that newspaper?

Check out this exchange:

SIMON: Could you - I know you've been over this - could you tell us why you felt you had to leave journalism?

KUZNIA: Yes. I think there were two main reasons. First, I - you know, I could pay the rent. So it's not that I couldn't pay the rent, it's just that there wasn't much left after that. And my girlfriend and I were sort of just living paycheck-to-paycheck and doing just fine, you know. We weren't destitute, but we were saving nothing. And so yes, pay was definitely a big factor. And I think the other one, the other major factor, was more of a state-of-the-industry consideration interrelated with the pay issue. Print journalism, especially at the local level, is a scary place to be right now. And it felt like now that I'm pushing 40, it might be a good time to try something new and to obtain a new skill set.

The paper is going down the tubes, and they weren't making good money.

I say "Good riddance" to the liberal press, although I am sad that Kuznia is no longer reporting. He actually did a pretty decent job as a writer and reporter. One thing also to keep in mind is that the rents have soared in Southern California. The liberal agenda which many of these media corporations have been pushing is now pushing out their workforce.

Now this was an interesting comment:

SIMON: Jobs are disappearing in orthodox journalism.

"Orthodox" journalism? What is that supposed to mean? I would submit, however, that this elitist attitude is one of the reasons why the liberal media is closing up shop. They act as though their profession has a hallowed aura around it, as though journalists and their filters are above criticism.

They have biases, just as everyone else. They will report certain stories with key edges to them, or they will ignore other stories altogether. The media has become more democratized, from the early days of the Drudge Report to the present day. It is now to easy for casual readers to compare different stories, and also find different slants--liberal and conservative, establishment and populist--for the journalism world to hide the fact that the mainstream press has embraced a liberal mindset and slanted the news accordingly.

Final Reflection

I think it's time for us to continue calling out the biased, slanted reporting of all media, and not hold back our derision. For decades, the large, corporate press held all the cards, and they determined which stories were heard, which stories were suppressed, and they decided which narratives they wanted to push.

Looking back at how destructive and distorted the mainstream media has been all these decades, I'm not surprised that President Richard Nixon had an Enemies List. A lot of the people in the press are deliberately misleading and untruthful.

Now they are reaping what they have sewn.

Decline and Fall of Tribune Media Company

The Tribune Company has bought out more newspapers throughout the country. They now own the Los Angeles Times, as well as the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Baltimore Sun, among other newspapers.

They are so desperate for subscribers, and they are apparently running out of money fast at the same time, that they are advertising subscriptions with three months free, and all while using basically the same template to advertise this deal for the different newspapers.

Here's the desperate offer from the San Diego Union-Tribune:

From the Baltimore Sun:

And finally from the Los Angeles Times:

Why are they so desperate for subscribers now? They want to give away three months of content free?

It must not be worth much to begin with--how true that is!

The liberal, corporate media have refused to learn their lessons. They don't realize that the reading public refuses to be lied to on a repeated basis. They elected Donald Trump because he paid attention to the issues exciting the most frustration and outrage from the national electorate. In disturbing contrast, the press could not care less about the concerns of the widespread masses, the "uneducated little people."

Yet Middle America has its fingers on the pulse far better than the over-certified, under-educated media leaders who think they no better because their college professors told them so.

Not any more. The Tribune company is heading into bankruptcy, no doubt. Who will continue to read newspapers which spend more time repeated old talking points about left-wing narratives and agendas? They don't even hire proof-readers and editors anymore!

Why the Popular Uprising Against America's Elites is Happening Now

Ben Shapiro writes that people look up to the cultural elites in our country, and therefore they get away with more abusive behavior and rampant misconduct. He argues that wealth, money, power, influence--all of these things define our modern elite. For a long time, then, we gave them a pass on their egregious sexual and financial misconduct. The long chain of abuses—both criminal and ethical—is finally coming to an end. Americans are declaring “Enough!”.
Shapiro asks toward the end of his article: “So, what's changed now? It's tempting to say that we've woken up -- that we're unwilling to allow fame and money and power to excuse abuse, and we're not going to go back to the old way anymore. But that would be too sanguine.”
Point of fact, we can answer this question.
Contrary to Shapiro’s assertions, the American people have indeed woken up. The sheep are no longer asleep. Voters have not only seen their livelihood, but their lives put at risk because of the destructive policies pushed by arrogant, distant, out-of-touch elites. The biggest issue in this regard was illegal immigration. By and large Americans across this country, even in California, don't support sanctuary cities, and they don't like that illegal aliens violate our national sovereignty while taking benefits at the expense (literally and figuratively) of American citizens. The elites in Congress and in state legislatures, especially in blue states, haven’t been listening. Fed up with their wanton disregard, the American people sent a very loud, vocal message on Election Day 2016 with Donald Trump’s win. This populist victory has galvanized individual voters to fight back for more victories against other arrogant politicians. We the People have no problem ow going after cultural, political, and even pre-supposing moral elites. Now that we got Trump elected, we can begin taking back control of our country.

What else has helped to bring down the media academic and government elites besides the election of Donald Trump? Today, you and I can be our own press agents and our own media. We can be our own journalists, flex our own media prowess. It has gotten easier for every person to expose at length the corruption and abuse of elected officials and cultural icons, whether in the movie industry, the music industry, or in the halls of Congress. Anyone of us can record abusive people doing abusive things. From Alec Baldwin to Hillary, liberal snobs have seen their cultural influence plummet because ordinary Americans took out their phones and recording them live, then uploaded their videos. Even the major media networks can't ignore this brazen evidence as it goes viral on social media.
This communications revolution has made it easier to hack into private servers (Hello, Crooked Hillary!), and expose a lot of the deep, dark secrets that our elected officials as well as the media were keeping from us. Not just Wikileaks, but undercover agents like Project Veritas are now investigating and exposing media giants for their rampant, orchestrated biases against the president. The same exposure has ruined academic careers and empowered conservatives to fight back against left-wing academics.
Another thing that has made and led to the downfall of Hollywood and the corrupt crooked evil producers actors etc. is that actors and actresses no longer see a purpose to pandering and playing along with these big Hollywood executives. Hollywood was already having a very bad year in terms of declining box office receipts. Actors are starting to recognize that giving into the producers’ couch no longer guarantees a job or an opportunity to thrive in Hollywood. They see that the whole entertainment industry is crumbling financially, so there was nothing that would stop them from exposing the abuse, perversion, and misconduct of these media, academic, and government elites.
Once Harvey Weinstein's corruption and perversion were exposed, followed by a widespread ongoing backlash against other perverts in Hollywood, more women in other institutions felt free to speak out. It has gotten easier for the common man to fight back against the self-protection machine in other institutions. Indeed, you and I can fight city hall, or the movie house, or the halls of academia. It's gotten easier for conservatives to organize, and easier for us to communicate and outflank the entrenched left-wing opposition.
There is another movement that is going on beneath the surface that even conservative media pundits have ignored: the restoration of the Gospel of Grace (Galatians 1:6). Men and women are relearning their blessed Divine status in Christ and the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17) which overcomes the Left’s dual tactics of shame and condemnation (Isaiah 54:17). The gift of righteousness is giving more believers the power to speak out against abuse, hatred and wrongdoing without feeling condemned or afraid of being condemned. Because the press doesn't have the power that used to have to shame people into silence, more people are condemning the evil behavior of the culture, moral, and political leaders in our country.

Regarding the press, this development brings up another reason why we're seeing major perversions finally exposed in all these institutions. President Donald Trump beat down the liberal media, the same media that was covering up all this misconduct, whether in statehouses, in universities, or in press radio and entertainment. Today, we see that these perverse Emperors have no clothes, but worse they have been fornicating in front of us and getting away with it. Not anymore.

The cultural elites in our midst have nothing to offer us that we cannot achieve on our own. The social media revolution has enabled us to take on the crime and corruption of our “betters” and show off how much worse they really are. The liberal mainstream media has cashed out whatever political capital and integrity they held, and no one believes them when they cover for liberal politicians and their enablers. They have gotten away with crimes and misdemeanors long enough, and the threats to our safety and security proved too much for us to endure any further.

The Queen of People’s Hearts: Why We Still Miss Princess Di

Twenty years have passed since Lady Diana Spencer, or rather Princess Di’s tragic passing. The car accident was brutal and unnerving. I still remember how shaken I was to learn about it. I was only 17 years old at the time, and I was not really fascinated with “The Royals”. I was so busy studying for the SAT tests, figuring out which college I was going to attend. But her sudden death was Breaking News then, and even I paid attention. I remember telling my mother that “Diana had passed away”, and my mother cried. She thought I was talking about someone at our church. When I mentioned “Princess” Diana to clarify, she sighed with relief, but only briefly, only to sob again.

The epic car accident along the Paris, France tunnel was just stunning for how arbitrary it was. It also showcased the bitter irony of the unsatisfied media which had embossed and promoted Diana’s beauty as well as her controversy. As a result of their relentless pursuit to photograph the princess, they would in turn hound her to her death—literally. What a crime that the photographers, known at that time as paparazzi, had done to our beloved Princess Di!

Twenty years later, the world still misses her. I still remember the lady in a grey sweater, crouched on her knees before the well-guarded Buckingham palace, sobbing uncontrollably in grief. The fields of flowers outside the palace and ribbons of mourning around London, the country—and even the world—are unforgettable, too.

What was it about Princess Diana’s tragic death on August 31, 1997 that gripped the world so strongly, and that still holds us to this day? She had indeed captivated the world, but with a warmth that was glorious, astounding, and irreplaceable. She was a darling person. Everyone wanted to see her, to know her. She was glamorous, but also so available, approachable. She cared about others, and she applied her grace and charisma to causes which others would have shunned. Diana would make them important and mainstream.

She brought two beautiful children into the world, particularly Prince William, who carries himself with a particular honor and daring reminiscent of his long-departed mother. She cared for her children in public, but not with a severe concern for public opinion. Who else could love their children with such glowing abandon?

Although born into minor aristocracy, she was not born a royal. She became one, and she continued to live like one, even after the bitter divorce from Prince Charles. Diana represented the Cinderella fantasy, which later became reality, and sparked a sense of honor for those who honored her. “I may not have the same distinction as she, but it could happen”, some women would ponder. More importantly, though, she treated us common people with great dignity, as if we were peers in her kingdom. There is no greater honor than to receive glory from one who is already glorious.  Like the other royals—to the extent that the public was informed—she did carry on an affair just as her husband had done, but she avoided the perverse philandering of her peers and in-laws. She was not bawdy or brutal, and she spent more time granting attention to others rather than to herself.

Twenty years later, we are still talking about Diana. Yet for all the charm she carried, it still doesn’t make sense why the press is so pressed to impress the world about her. One article even outlines for the Millennial generation what they need to know about her, who would have never known about her if not for the relentless press coverage she still receives. Why such lavish attention paid to a former princess who passed away two decades ago?

Like former President Barack Obama, Diana Spencer was a media creation, too—something she clearly disliked throughout her life, especially into her later years following the very public divorce with Prince Charles. In fact, the ravenous paparazzi who had pursued her, captured her likeness, and elicited her ire—would induce her sad demise. That abusive arrangement had started out well between the press and her highness. Her marriage to Prince Charles in 1981, who was then 33 while she was only 19, turned into a world-wide spectacle as 750 million people watched the event. Even Americans watched the pageantry, staying up into the wee hours of the morning since the ceremony was held 9 hours ahead. Throughout her private as well as public career, the photographers stalked her and displayed her for the public. The media’s obsession certainly frustrated her loving heart. Once, she vigorously confronted a cameraman to leave her alone—for the sake of her children. Such forceful grace made her all the more captivating to us.

Unlike Obama, however, she had a story, a life worth following, worth telling, and worthy of retelling. What kind of woman was Diana, that commanded such attention, which brought such admiration? She was indeed very beautiful. Her calm gaze, her whimsy engaged people. She was down-to-earth as a noblewoman, and then as a monarch-in-waiting. Isn’t that what so many people want in their leaders? She cared about common people. She reached out to them without a sense of burdened condescension. This time, though, the fairy tale of a kind princess who steals the hearts of all was true, only made more poignant by her tragic, unnecessary death. In a cynical sense, the press resurrects her memory because they profit from her death as they had done while she lived. Nevertheless, we are blessed to remember her.

Diana was fun, a real life to behold, not afraid to face challenges publicly, and to do so in such a royal fashion. Her classy disdain of pomp and circumstance following her divorce confirmed that her heart had always been in the right place: for the people. And for that, she did indeed deserve to be the Queen of People’s Hearts. Good night, sweet princess. Rest in Peace.

Major Civil Rights Violation at Civilian Commission: Arrested for The First Amendment

Last Thursday, I attended the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Civilian Commission.

The board is staffed with appointees by individual members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, along with appointments by the board as a whole or from other agencies, including the Sheriff's department.

The Commission is not used to American citizens showing up.

They are not used to patriots, Pro-Trump conservatives putting pressure on the commission.

And we gave them more than they had bargained for.

Check out the outrageous behavior from the staffers and police at the front of the courthouse:

Gary is arrested for filming in the building?

The Civilian Commission meeting is under the Brown Act, which permits recording!

Unbelievable!

The LA Times reported this disregard for the First Amendment:

L.A. County Sheriff oversight board holds public forum in federal courthouse, where cameras aren't allowed

Sometimes people yell at the monthly turnout of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission, but on Thursday the fireworks started before some attendees could get inside.

Yes, and much of this conflict began and ended because of the Civilian Commission's perverse move to have the meeting in a court house instead of in the Water District office along Alameda Blvd.

A man attempting to bring a camera to the public forum, held at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, was handcuffed and ultimately ejected after he began filming a dispute with security guards over whether he could bring recording devices into the federal courthouse.

The Brown Act permits men and women to bring in cameras and to record the meeting.

After being detained about an hour, Gary Gileno, a freelance journalist and a member of We The People Rising, a group opposed to illegal immigration, was issued a $280 citation for failing to comply with court security officers’ directions.

He will contest this ticket no doubt. The charges should be dropped. The actions of the security personnel or inexcusable.

Gileno, who said he has filmed a public gathering inside that courthouse before, said he’s well-versed about his rights at open meetings and that what happened to him was “outrageous.”

U.S. Marshals had been telling those entering the building that no electronics were allowed, even if people were headed to the public forum. The agents eventually let most people bring their phones and cameras inside, although they did not allow people to hold up signs in the meeting.

They "eventually" let people bring in their equipment. So why this selective enforcement?

Mike MacBean, acting supervisor for the U.S. Marshals Service for California’s central district, said officers who detained Gileno were simply enforcing rules barring recording devices of any type inside federal courthouses.

But the ordeal highlighted an awkward situation for the oversight commission, which is bound by the state open meetings law that says anyone at official public meetings has a right take pictures, video or audio of the proceedings, unless doing so creates a persistent disturbance.

The Civilian Commission are required to allow open access, signs, and electronic recording devices. It is beyond outrageous that the security and the court staff behaved the way they did.

Unreal.

Commissioners have frequently said they want to foster a welcoming atmosphere for anyone to come and speak about their experiences with the Sheriff’s Department.

That whole movement went down in flames that day. I was so furious with the outrageous limitations on our life and liberty within the chambers. It was inexcusable that signs and cameras were forbidden.

“I felt a little humiliated having to take off my shoes and stuff,” said Commissioner Heather Miller, a rabbi, noting the airport-like security measures at the federal courthouse. “You talk about law enforcement triggering things for people.”

"Triggering" is a good word.

Robert C. Bonner, a former federal judge who serves as chair of the civilian oversight panel, said he recommended that the federal courthouse be used for the meeting. The commission has been trying out different locations in search of a more permanent home.

Of course he did!

“The cameras are not allowed in a federal courthouse, that’s all I can tell you. These aren’t my rules,” he said.

Bonner said he was not familiar with certain provisions of California’s open meetings law, known as the Ralph M. Brown Act, and that he relies on county counsel for advice on the legalities.

What?!

This man is a former federal judge, and he has no knowledge of the Ralph M. Brown Act?!

Wow!

“Why is it that people would have to have their own separate audio recording when we have an audio recording that picks up everything that’s said?” Bonner asked.

The commission posts audio files of its meetings online, but there is typically a lag time of a few weeks.

The lag time is certainly convenient.

Brian Williams, the commission’s executive director who approved the location, said he wasn’t aware that cameras were not allowed inside federal courthouses. He said he would keep that in mind when deciding on future sites for the monthly meeting, which has recently been held at the Metropolitan Water District building next to Union Station.

Wow! Pretty incompetent, I must say.

“I want to make sure the public has unfettered access,” Williams said.

Peter Bibring, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, said the oversight commission has an obligation to follow state law and should not hold meetings in places where people aren’t allowed to bring cameras or other recording devices.

This is the second time in two weeks that I have applauded a decision by the ACLU. They are actually defending the First Amendment rights of conservatives and patriots of all backgrounds!

Also on Thursday, the commission approved a resolution opposing President Trump’s statement last month to a crowd of law enforcement officers in which he told them, “Please don’t be too nice,” when arresting people.

I say that we condemn the antics and bigotry of the Civilian Commission.

Their disregard for our First Amendment rights and the violations of the Brown Act were insufferable.

The president was “appearing to encourage and condone out of policy and inappropriate use of force against suspects,” the commission’s resolution said.

How about the use of force against me, when I was speaking at the podium? The Vice-Chair asked for me to be removed from the room, but he did not have the right to do that. No one in that room had the right to have me removed or to tell me to sit down and say nothing.

In fact, the three officers on duty ended up backing away from the podium, but one of the officers told me to "be civil."

What?! Shame on them!

Commissioners and members of the public also discussed the Sheriff’s Department’s mental evaluation teams, which pair deputies with mental health clinicians to respond to calls requiring special handling of mentally ill people.

The whole Civilian Commission needs a mental evaluation. That should not be too complicated.

Final Reflection

Gary Gileno, the man who was arrested and cited just for having a camera and exercising his First Amendment rights, put together a great video of what happened to me in the meeting.

In fact, the video has gotten incredible traffic, despite YouTube's intense efforts to siphon off or squeeze the viewership for Gileno's videos:

Los Angeles Eastside Sun Fail: Pity for Illegals, Nothing for Americans

Then check out the article headline in the bottom right corner:

This narrative about the poor illegal alien families "This Father's Day: Orphans A Crule Trump Legacy"

What about Angie Morfin?

What about Kate Steinle's parents?

What about Don Rosenberg?

What about them? They are parents bereaved for their children?

What about the children of Sandra Duran?

She was killed by an illegal alien in the North Hills section of Los Angeles?

Her children have no mother.

What about them?

Where is the pity for Americans?

LA Free Speech Rally in Santa Monica: Confronting Anti-Semitic Brainwashing

The LA Free Speech Rally was a huge success.

There was only one contentious set of moments for me, and it had nothing to do with anti-Trump sentiment or angry liberals threatening us--although that happened twice.

One young man, who went by the name of "Michael", announced to everyone that he had driven all the way from Temecula to meet with fellow Trump supporters and rally for Free Speech.

Then I listened to some of the views he had to share.

I have never been so shocked and disturbed.

Following a brief poll of hands raised whether anyone did not support the state of Israel, this young man raised his hand.

And the reasons why were even more disturbing, in part because they were hard to follow.

I am a hard-core Zionist and I do not apologize for it.

I do not hide my love for the state of Israel, nor does my respect for the state of Israel mean that I support every decision of the Israel government.

I do not support going back to the types and shadows of the Torah. There are more Jews who believe in Jesus, based on the Hebrew Scriptures, tat he

Here is the final segment of the video that I uploaded following the Facebook Live feed I recorded at Santa Monica's Palisades Park:

Michael advertised himself as a conservative, and a Trump supporter.

He also called himself a conservative and a Christian.

"I do not support Zionism. I do not support the state of Israel."

When he signaled to the group that he was not a support of Israel, I had to follow up on this.

How can he claim to be a Christian and not support the Jewish State?

The existence of Israel falls in line with Biblical prophecy, an essential party of God's final will for the last days.

I gave him two scriptures (even though there are more):

"Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." (Isaiah 66:8)

and

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." (Zechariah 12:2)

I could have also mentioned:

"For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation." (Psalm 132: 13)

Or how about the outlines of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants:

"18In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:19The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,21And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites." (Genesis 15: 18-21)

At first, he was willing to talk to me. He admitted that his views were controversial. Certainly, because it does not line up with a welcome embrace of Judeo-Christian values.

Then he shared his concerns about Zionism--which he refused to define for me.

I offered him my definition as a departure point: "Support for the Jewish State and support for Jewish people all over the world to make aliyah, or to relocate to their homeland."

A more historical answer stems from the movement by Theodor Herschel to grant Jewish people in Europe a homeland where they would be safe from the latent and rising anti-Semitism in Europe.

The he uttered of the most alarming statements I have heard in a long:

"We have seene global Jewry."

WHAT?!

The argument beneath this phrase suggests that Jewish people are colluding together to take over the world. Such rhetoric hearkens back to the anti-Semitism of the late 1800s--which precipitated Zionism as well as the Nazi and Stalinist regimes during and after World War II.

Then he shared the following:

"One problem I have with Zionism is the complete Jewish control of the media,"

Alarm bells went off in my head when I heard this.

Such nonsense is a lie propagated by the Czarist forgery "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", specifically Protocol XII:

PROTOCOL No. 12

1. The word "freedom," which can be interpreted in various ways, is defined by us as follows -
2. Freedom is the right to do what which the law allows. This interpretation of the word will at the proper time be of service to us, because all freedom will thus be in our hands, since the laws will abolish or create only that which is desirable for us according to the aforesaid program.
3. We shall deal with the press in the following way: what is the part played by the press to-day? It serves to excite and inflame those passions which are needed for our purpose or else it serves selfish ends of parties ... I BEG YOU TO NOTE THAT AMONG THOSE MAKING ATTACKS UPON US WILL ALSO BE ORGANS ESTABLISHED BY US, BUT THEY WILL ATTACK EXCLUSIVELY POINTS THAT WE HAVE PRE-DETERMINED TO ALTER.

WE CONTROL THE PRESS

The Protocol text pushed this brazen lie. "We control the press."

No, "The Jews" do not control "the press" -- and I apologize for using so many scare quotes, but it's pretty scary how young minds like Michael and perhaps other alt-right white nationalists are falling in

The Russian secret police concocted then spread the falsehoods of Jews collaborating to overrun democratic institutions, including the press, media, and corporations.

This is scary stuff, people. The "Protocols" have been thoroughly debunked for at least a century ...

Yet this young man was spouting of the items in those false reports as though they were fact.

Now, this event was a free speech rally, and instead of labeling him brainwashed or an anti-Semite, I asked him to prove his point.

He crumbled immediately. I asked him for proof that every major media owner was Jewish.

Then I pointed out that just because certain high-profile media moguls are Jews does not mean that they are all united in some corrupt scheme to lie to everyone and take over the world.

For the record, News Corps. is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who not only is NOT Jewish, but faced some heated criticism for talking about a "Jewish-owned press":
The owners of the Washington Post and its parent company are not Jews, either.

Back to Michael ...

The more that I pressed on Michael to explain his criticism of Zionism, the more he refused to explain his views on Jewish people or the Jewish state.

He then crossed over into his vocal opposition to Communism and multiculturalism.

OK--I disagree with those movements, too, absolutely.

Then he wanted to claim that 80% of the Communist Revolution in the Soviet Union were Bolsheviks, which means "Jewish".

HUH?

I looked up this connection, too, regarding the militant wing of the Russia Communists which later overthrew the Czarist regime.

First, from Wikipedia:

Jewish Bolshevism, also known as Judeo-Bolshevism, is an antisemitic and anti-communist canard which alleges that the Jews were at the origin of the Russian Revolution and held the primary power among Bolsheviks. Similarly, the Jewish Communism theory implies that Jews have been dominating the Communist movements in the world. It is similar to the ZOG conspiracy theory, which asserts that Jews control world politics.[1] The expressions have been used as a catchword for the assertion that Communism is a Jewish conspiracy.

In fact, many of the criminal, megalomaniacal movers and shakers in global communism have NOT been Jews!

Pol Pot
Vladmir Lenin
Joseph Stalin
Mao Ze Dong
Che Guevara

Yes, Leon Trotsky was a Communist, and Jewish--but he opposed Zionism! The notion of a Jewish State was foolish to him!

The notion that Zionism is a backdoor entry for Communism is total folly--and note that this link has nothing to do with Michael's unjustified argument that the Jews control the media.

Because they don't. Even if there are individual Jewish people who head media corporations, that does not indicate a Jewish cabal trying to brainwash people and take over the world.

How did Jewish people fare under the Soviet Union? Ask freedom fighter Natan Sharansky, who was jailed as a prisoner of conscience, living in constant fear throughout his childhood and formative years. Throughout the Soviet regime, Anti-Semitism was official condemned, but the religious ideology was rigidly atheistic.

Add to that the political conflicts fomented by rival factions within the Soviet Union, which many times scapegoated Jews--including Trotsky.

Not only that, but if "The Jews" are really trying to take over the world, why are they the #1 victims of hate crimes?

Jewish people. Check out the FBI crime statistics from 2012 here.

In Toronto, Jews are the most targeted for hate crimes. Check here.

So ... again, back to Michael.

Notice that I did not shut him down immediately when he claimed that the Jews control the press.

I asked him for proof, which he claimed that he could not find (poor Internet connection? Not true. I was recording him on Facebook live with no problems). He even claimed that all the major reporters have some kind of Jewish last name, too!

Incredible. He got jittered, then he got angry. He told me twice that he wanted to end the discussion. I would not let him get away with ending our conversation.

"Uh, I do support Israel, but I am not a Zionist!"
Confused?!

Then my camera's battery ran out.

Afterwards, he insisted on attacking me (without identifying me by name)--but he refused to explain what we were talking about. On Harim's livefeed, viewers rebutted Michael's arguments, because I did indeed allow him to speak, and I asked him repeatedly to define his terms.

But slowly yet surely, it was clear that Michael has been brainwashed with some serious anti-Semitic hatred. He also tried to double-talk his way out of his previous assertions. "I have no problem with the state of Israel" Huh? He had started out stating his opposition to the state of Israel.

"I am not a conservative." Then he claimed that he was a traditionalist, which is essential conservatism.

Individuals of this stripe are lurking and making a stance on their views. It's very important for all of us to confront these false ideas as strongly as possible without attacking individual citizens. White nationalism, white supremacy, or these other alt-right movements are all wrong.

God bless the great state of Israel!

And God Bless America!
