Popcorn: Los Angeles County Democratic Party Still Leaderless

The Los Angeles County Republican Party Central Committee is corrupted and defunct.

But the Republican and conservative activists are rising up and taking back our party.

As for the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, they are falling apart from within.

They can't even get credible leadership at this time.

Darren Parker, the state assembly candidate who ran against Tom Lackey--and lost--was supposed to run for LACDP chair, now that Eric Bauman is the (embattled) chairman of the entire state Democratic Party.

But what is this?

He is dropping out!

Greetings LACDP Family,

My plan was to spend the next few weeks engaging in an exciting campaign to become your next LA County Chair. Unfortunately, as some of you have already learned, life sometimes has other plans. 

Is there a criminal investigation in the works? Did he do something wrong?

I would like to inform everyone that Parker was working for Speaker Anthony Rendon.

And nobody in the California Democratic Party grassroots likes Speaker Rendon. They see him as the very corporate shill which Bernie Sanders and all the other progressives have been fighting hard against.

Parker is part of the Democratic Party establishment, and the grassroots in the state of California are tired of getting kicked in the teeth by the party bosses who lined their pockets and solidify their power at the expense of working people.

After much discussion with my family, my committee, and numerous others. I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the future vacated position as LACDP Chair should it become available.

I am blessed to continue strengthening my region, my district, and most importantly, transforming the 25th Congressional District held by Steve Knight to BLUE.

The fight for Steve Knight's seat has gone from bad to worse for the Democratic Party.

As much as Republican grassroots have found Congressman Knight's dithering on key issues frustrating, he is still very popular with the widespread number of voters and constituents in the district.

The truth is that the Democratic Party candidates are too liberal and way too out of touch with the needs of the district. One of the Democratic Congressional candidates actually admitted that she could not openly support single-payer health care.

She refused, and even the Los Angeles Times had to report her double-dealing.

I can't express how humbling the overwhelming show of support from so many delegates, elected officials,organizations has been in supporting my candidacy for LACDP Chair. Thank you for that vote of confidence.

There was not enough support for him to win, though, especially with his connections to the corrupt Speaker Anthony Rendon!

Final Reflection

The Democratic Party is not the united front which the media and their establishment handlers claim them to be.

They have terrible infighting, which is now spilling out into the public. The press can no longer put a lid on stopping all the hate. The Kimberly Ellis-Eric Bauman debacle exposes how corrupt the fight has become. The Democratic Party grassroots are even leaving the party in large numbers, they are so fed up with being taken for a ride, then dumped after Election Day.

Torrance Democratic Club President Jimmy Gow Supports Criminal SJWs at Private Event

Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio visited Torrance California this past weekend.

The leadership of the new chartered Republican group, the California Impact Republicans, made quite an impact that day.

They were ready to host Sheriff Joe Arpaio at Aurelio Mattucci's real estate office.

Within a day or two, anti-Social Justice Warriors informed the South Bay Impact Republicans that they would protest, raise a fuss, and disrupt the entire meeting.

They worked hard to move the event to another place.

This Republican group wants to rally the troops, empower the conservative cause and get local Republicans kicking, fighting, and winning again.

Sheriff Joe met with a diverse group of conservatives.

Black, Hispanic, Jewish, male and female, and even people of American Indian descent!

And yet, these silly SJWs were screaming and yelling "Racist Go Home!" outside. How do they define "racist".

The anti-law and order Left are not interested in allowing for peace.

They want to disrupt and destroy. This is the Saul Alinksy playbook at its worst.

About twenty people, all dressed in red and shouting hateful epithets.

Within five minutes, one of the protesters stole the phone out of Johnnie Maul's hand.

Outrageous!

An altercation broke out. Maul tried to get his phone back.

The sheriff's deputies arrived to restore order. There was so few of those cowardly SJWs that they got quiet really quick.

We would search the parking lot in front of the building after our meeting with Sheriff Joe--we are still looking for Johnnie's phone!

Those protesters were apparently abusive operatives, paid protesters who just show up and shout, trying to intimidate people.

But their antics can't work on us!

They were crowding the sidewalk in front of the new meeting place, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall.

This double-standard of abuse and disrespect must cease. Leftists believe that they can behave above the law. All of that is outrageous and wrong.

What is he doing here? Doesn't he have any regard to the First Amendment rights of other people?

What is all this talk about white supremacy, anyway? After all, a white liberal Democrat was leading the charge at the event!

I also schooled her about human genetics. Every human being has color in their skin--and it was a black and Chinese American who taught me that.

This crazy black protester called me a Dummy, and even claimed that she had a right to be prejudiced and hateful.

You know that she's getting paid to do this--and whoever paid her should ask for the money back!

The President of the Torrance Democrat Club has First Amendment rights, just like everyone else.

One would think that he would set a better example of how to exercise one's rights, and actually make a successful point.

The same older lady in the white shirt claimed that Sheriff Joe was running concentration camps. She actually compared the wicked genocide against the Jewish people to prisoners?!

These people are mixed up and messed up all at once.

And throughout these confrontations, the President of the Torrance Democratic Club stood by and gave his silent consent to these abusive behaviors.

Final Reflection:

This kind of racist conduct has been getting a free pass for decades.

The President of the Santa Monica Progressive Democrats labeled Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel a "Holocaust Whore".

They demean people who have lighter skin than they as "privileged" and elitist, without any proof or knowledge about their background.

Jimmy Gow and his Democratic followers have engaged in this race-baiting BS for a long time, along with two Democratic operatives who disturbed another private meeting of Republicans earlier this year (2016)

Very sad.

This kind of double-standard must cease!

Miscarriage of Justice Continues: the Corrupt John Noguez Still Walks Free

Is there no justice left in Los Angeles County?

It has been four years -- four long years! -- and John Noguez still walks free.

He has been charged, and yet the case has not even had a preliminary hearing yet!

Four years!

What is this madness?

Sources in the community have told me that Noguez is connected to so  many elected officials.

His downfall would lead to the downfall of many other politically connected officialss throughout Los Angeles County.

How many elected officials pulled his ear to get a mark-down on their properties for lower taxes?

How many have been wheeling and dealing with Noguez to keep their own political power in check?

Let's state some very obvious elements about Los Angeles politics.

The county government is too big, and way too intrusive.

Let's just establish that right now. The more government programs and interventions, the more influence peddling and corruption will flourish.

Reformers in Los Angeles County were discussing how to remedy the corruption concerns connected with the County Assessor's office.

Here's an idea: do we have to have an assessor in the first place?

How about setting a flat rate for property taxes? Two bedroom homes receive one type of assessment.

Another property will receive another assessment, and so one.

Property taxes should not be based on how much a home is worth based on fair-market value. The market value of a property can fluctuate so much, and homeowners should not be punished because the value of their homes have increased.

But back to No No Noguez ...

How is it possible that this Corruptito is still walking around free?

The Los Angeles Times offered a sound assessment, with as much information as made available would allow:

John Noguez, then Los Angeles County assessor, was walked out of his Huntington Park home in handcuffs one October day in 2012, accused of taking $185,000 in bribes from a tax consultant in exchange for orchestrating decreased property valuations that would mean lower tax bills for the consultant’s clients.

Oh happy day. The residents in Huntington Park despised this man, and they knew that he was up to no good.

The tax agent, Ramin Salari, was also arrested and charged, along with Mark McNeil, an executive in the assessor’s office. It was one of the highest-profile public corruption cases in recent county history.

High profile, and now low profile. What gives? What is taking so long?!

Nearly four years later, the case has not made it to trial, or even to a preliminary hearing that would determine whether it goes to trial. The preliminary hearing has been postponed more than a dozen times and is now set for October.

WHAT?! A preliminary hearing is essential. Whatever happened to the Sixth Amendment, and a citizen's right to a speedy and public trial?

The lengthy delay has left some puzzled and others speculating that the case is going nowhere.

“I think the decision has been made that they’re just going to let him go,” said John Wong, a former member of the county’s assessment appeals board who ran against Noguez in 2010 and ran unsuccessfully to replace him in 2014. “I don’t see him being prosecuted at all. It’s just the way politics go in this county.”

No wonder more people are moving out of California, particularly Los Angeles County. Who wants to put up with outlandish corruption?

L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, who was the most vocal critic of Noguez in the months leading up to his arrest, blamed a “bogged-down” court system for the delays.

“It’s a miscarriage of justice,” he said in an emailed statement.

Yet it is. An outrageous miscarriage of justice, in that the men and women of this county, who pay their taxes and follow the rules, watch one of the most corrupt and vile elected officials walk away with big payouts.

Officials with the district attorney’s office said they are committed to prosecuting the case and blamed the delays on the massive amount of evidence that had to be turned over to defense attorneys to review, and on the fact that both Noguez and Salari switched lawyers midway through the proceedings. That meant the new attorneys had to start over in reviewing the evidence.

Should there be some kind of law to prevent these dilatory tactics?

Prosecutor Craig Hum said the district attorney’s office had turned over more than 45,000 pages of evidence to the defense attorneys, along with recordings of interviews and thousands of pages of testimony before an investigative grand jury.

How longs does it take someone, anyone to go through 45,000 pages of anything? If a private firm was working on this case, shouldn't they have finished everything by now?

If Noguez had to switch from private to public, perhaps that means he's running out of money.

Our money!

“We have been in court — we have been moving forward with the case,” he said. “It’s just taking a little longer than usual, even for these types of cases.”

Does it really? What is the standard for comparison? Just asking.

The charges against Noguez and the others have also been amended several times. Noguez initially faced 24 counts of accepting bribes, misappropriation of public funds, conspiracy and perjury. In later complaints, the number of charges against him swelled to 36, but in the most recent amended complaint, filed earlier this month, it was reduced to 25.

Hum said some of the charges were consolidated and others were dropped because, after interviewing witnesses in preparation for the preliminary hearing, prosecutors decided those charges might be more problematic to prove than they had originally thought.

As to the remaining counts, he said, “I think that the evidence is certainly more than sufficient, or we wouldn’t have filed the charges.”

Noguez’s attorney, Charles Frisco, who took over the case 10 months ago when Noguez requested to switch from a private attorney to court-appointed counsel, pointed to the four complaints and large amount of evidence turned over at the request of the defense.

“Based upon what I have reviewed, as well as our own investigation, Mr. Noguez will be cleared of any wrongdoing,” he said in an emailed statement.

Laurie Levenson, a Loyola Law School professor and former federal prosecutor, said the lengthy delays could affect the outcome of the case.

“If the case is made on paper, it may not make much of a difference at all,” she said. “It does become more difficult if you’re going to rely on witness memories.”

Hum said he does not believe the prosecution will be harmed by the amount of time that has lapsed.

“In a case like this, it’s really not eyewitnesses describing what corner someone was standing on or something,” he said. “It’s almost all the documents.”

After his arrest, Noguez — whose birth name is Juan Renaldo Rodriguez — spent several months in jail before he was able to post bail with the help of supporters.

I wish that he had stayed there. So, he obviously did not have the money. Who was paying for the private attorneys, then?

He remained on paid leave from the assessor’s office for two years, while the case was pending, until his term in office expired. In December 2014, he was replaced by the current assessor, Jeff Prang, a former West Hollywood city councilman who had worked as a special assistant in the assessor’s office.

Get this, people. Noguez was still drawing a salary! We the People of Los Angeles were still paying his bills!

County supervisors said at the time that they couldn’t cut off Noguez’s paycheck. Elected officials in California generally can’t be removed from office unless they are convicted of a job-related crime or voted out in a recall.

Another reason to have the County Assessor appointed or removed entirely.

Gregg Rademacher, chief executive of the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Assn., said Noguez has withdrawn the money he had contributed to the county retirement system,  meaning he will not be eligible to collect the money contributed by the county, but also will not be subject to forfeiture proceedings if convicted of a felony.

Well, well, well. He gets any with more money, then. Have the county authorities seized his passport yet?

If convicted of all the charges against him, Noguez faces a potential 30-year prison sentence.

Regardless of the eventual outcome of the case, Levenson said: “From the defendant’s perspective, every day you’re not convicted is a good day.”

And a bad day for the rest of us.

Final Reflection

When will the citizens of Los Angeles County see justice?

When will Noguez end up in jail?

Is this the new scam? Keep delaying the trial until the public stops paying attention, and then let him go?!

The people of Huntington Park had to deal with his corrupt leadership for years. And he is still running the show in HP, according to some reports.

It's time to expose this fraud. And it's time to hold the county of Los Angeles accountable of their deliberate delays on prosecuting him!

Los Angeles Democratic Club President Calls Elie Wiesel "Holocaust Whore"

I had heard some disparaging remarks from Democratic leaders.

But I had no idea the amount of venom that local Democratic leaders, here in Los Angeles County, would volley at a Holocaust survivor and political activist.

Elie Wiesel, born in Romania, one of the few remaining survivors (then and now) of Auschwitz, a writer, speaker, and tireless "remember-er", never stopped fighting against the humanistic lethargy which teaches men to forget the inherent wickedness of man, and the necessity to fight against evil, tryanny, and the encroachment of the state.

And yet, a leader from the Los Angeles County Democratic Party fired off an insensitive, even bitter email disparaging Wiesel.

The Anti-Defamation League of Los Angeles is speaking out about an email sent by a local Democratic Party leader criticizing Elie Wiesel, the Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize winner, who died on July 2.

I have great respect for the Anti-Defamation league. They expose anti-Israel, anti-Semitic agendas throughout Los Angeles County. Once, I attended a teaching seminar on Middle Eastern cultures. The program was highly biased: anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Jew.

I repeatedly interrupted the whitewashing of Islamic culture and the destructive history of Islam. The slant against the Jewish State, making the United States and Israel out to be unjust aggressors, was too much for me. When I called out the presentations as "propaganda", one of the members of the ADL shook my hand. informing me that they watch over those programs, paid for with taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate LAUSD teachers and then students

Dorothy Reik, president of the Progressive Democrats of the Santa Monica Mountains and a delegate-elect for the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, angered some groups over her email, in which she made disparaging comments about Wiesel after his death.

What she wrote, the Daily News tried to avoid sharing.

“I had met people who made their living from the Holocaust but never to the extent that Wiesel did,” Reik wrote. She also retold an incident in which another individual called Wiesel a “Holocaust w----” in the email.

Frankly, I see nothing wrong with a Holocaust survivor telling the story of what six million Jews, and five to seven million other targeted groups enduring under Nazi Germany.

If he raises money to help fight anti-Semitism, no one should complain.

Democrats take money from the most illicit, anti-community sources out there!

The infamy of such state-sponsored evil cannot be ignored.

Reik, who is Jewish, wrote in the email that her opinion did not reflect the views of the Progressive Democrats of the Santa Monica Mountains and acknowledged that most of her friends and associates would disagree with her.

The Daily News sanitized the comments. Reik wrote "Holocaust WHORE."

The ADL’s Pacific Southwest Regional Director Amanda Susskind posted Reik’s email on ADL-LA’s website. “While the entire world is mourning the death of Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel — often called the conscience of the world — it is particularly disturbing that this Democratic Party official would share these vicious words, even expressed as her personal opinion,” Susskind wrote.

They are vicious!

Mrs. Reik is not telling the truth. That makes her comments very offensive.

Wiesel, author of “Night,” died in New York at age 87. His death prompted an outpouring from world leaders and local politicians including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Journalist Max Blumenthal wrote a piece Monday for Alternet criticizing Wiesel for accepting high-paying speaking gigs from controversial figures and failing to stand up for oppressed groups. Reik included a link to the story in her email.

Reached at her home Wednesday, Reik said, “I apologize if I offended anyone.”

Her comments were offensive because they are false.

To depict a man of such magnanimity as a "whore" betrays a lacking moral compass.

The Democratic Party is embracing this destructive, nihilistic relativism on a grand scale.

This is wrong. When will more people start calling out the Democratic Party for their immoral--no, amoral--stances?

Eric Bauman, chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party and vice-chair of the California Democratic Party, said Reik was quoting a term used by another person and expressing a personal opinion.

She was expressing an opinion. Yet this opinion betrays the moral rot at the core of the California and even National Democratic Party.

“However I believe it reflects poorly on a leader of the Democratic Party to make a statement such as this,” Bauman said in an interview Wednesday. “It doesn’t appear that we have the authority to take any kind of action as it was done in her personal capacity.”

True. Freedom of speech is still freedom of speech. Of course, the Democratic Party is wallowing in its double-standard all over again.

Estee Chandler, chair of the Los Angeles chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, called Wiesel a “complicated” man. He was a “prophetic moral witness who implored the world not to remain silent in the face of oppression,” Chandler said.

But he also “failed to speak out equally on behalf of Palestinians’ rights and against anti-Muslim rhetoric and Islamophobia,” she said.

"Palestinian" is a non-entity politically. As part of the LAUSD class I took (mentioned above), we learned more distorted historical propaganda. Sorry, but there is no such thing as "Palestinian." No culture, no ethnic status, 

Chandler declined to comment on Reik’s email.

The double-standard rears its ugly head again.

What is going on here?

Why do Democrats engage in such invidious discrimination? Why this lethal hostility to Israel and a telling attempt to downplay the wickedness of the Holocaust?

The Left-wing agitators routinely deny evil. They are not committed to any clear moral code, but only toward ever-broadening equality or inequality.

That is all the care about. This forced movement for leveling every aspect of society is one of the most vile forces in our world today. Fascism, Communism, and the secular Elitism impoverishing the state of California all operate under the perverted banner of "Equality", i.e. equality of results.

That is injustice at its core.

No one can justify the false equivalence struck to try and compare the plight of Israel with the routine terrorism of West Bank rogues.

Israel gave up Gaza, and now it's turned into a war zone of unfathomable depravity. Ten years ago, it was a stellar, moving paradise.

Now, it's desecration at its core, a disturbing lesson in the final results of appeasement.

The world will miss Elie Wiesel.

One more survivor has perished, and thankfully after living a long, fulfilling life.

As for the Los Angeles County and state Democratic Party, they need to engage in some serious soul-searching, if the party apparatus has any left.

Reflection on Aunt Janice's Gun-Control Sit-In

Last week, I wrote the House Democrats: "Sit on it!"

They should have sat on their hands along with anything else to expose their utter uselessness.

Congresswoman Janice Hahn (D-San Pedro) decided to host another gun-control sit-in at Port of Los Angeles High School.

Give me a break!

Let's cut the crap, again.

Aunt Janice is running for Board of Supervisors. Her little community event to declare war on the Bill of Rights was a big show-but of a media stunt.

She had lots of adoring, liberal fans. 100 people showed up to cry, grieve, and deplore the sad state of affairs of gun violence.

All this talk, all the time. "We must stop the gun violence! End the violence now!"

I know San Pedro pretty well. I was really pleased to find parking so quickly. When it comes to parking, how can anyone forget that Aunt Janice once approved parking meters in San Pedro, which hurt local businesses without bringing in any real revenue. Then the meters were removed, causing the city to break even on the whole wasteful venture.

Heckuva job, there Aunt Janice!

So, she has leap-frogged from LA City council to Congress, and now she's running for LA BOS.

And she wants to replay the gun-control sit-in of her lazy, do-nothing colleagues from last week.

Before the meeting, I walked by a number of police officers, Port police as well as LAPD. She had at least twenty police officers in and around the area.

Before I entered the school building, I noticed Rep Hahn answering questions for Ed Levine. I wasn't going to let her get away with softballs. During the interview, I asked her very directly about this no-fly no-buy idea.

"What about Tom McClintock?"

 His name was on the no-fly list, and he had to fight to get the confusion cleared up. An Irish domestic terrorist had the same name.

Another woman had to fight for eight years to be removed from the no-fly list. The lack of due process should alarm anyone about using that measure to determine who may or may not purchase a firearm.

At first, I did not know why she was willing to pause and talk to me.

Now I know why. The Los Angeles Times had a camera on her!

But she had tried to get by and ignore me before. Check out this video here.

I spoke with one of the reporters, and told them that they needed to ask harder questions.

Then the meeting started to gather more people.

And then more people starting pouring in:

I am glad that I showed up early, in spite of everything that was going on.

You could tell that Aunt Janice was going to suck as much publicity as she could out of this event. Before she introduced colleagues and community leaders, she showed the wavering wanna-be gospel preaching of Rep. John Lewis on the House floor before the Democrats sat down for 25 hours.

You really have to feel for the family, friends, and neighbors, all of whom have lost loved ones to thugs, criminals, and the mentally ill. Notice that I did not write "gun violence", as though it is some kind of ephemeral evil.

Someone holds the gun, someone fires the gun, someone kills someone else. It's that simple.

Steve Bradford was also there. Hahn reminded everyone that he was a former assemblyman. Don't you think they ought to know that he is running for state senate?

He talked about all those gun-control bills he helped pass. Then he remarked that some days, he didn't remember if he was a Democrat, since legislators have to "work together" to stop gun violence.

Democrats in San Pedro love to talk about "bipartisanship", because for a Los Angeles-area Democrat, that basically means "We get our way, and Republicans go away."

A doctor from Harbor General Medical Center (located in LA County property, with a Torrance mailing address, and also residing in Janice Hahn/Isadore Hall/Steve Bradford territory) described the terrible gun violence he has to witness, treat, and overcome every at the hospital.

No question about it. There is too much gang violence in the Los Angeles Harbor-South LA region. The answer is not more gun-control. The doctor gave no solutions for stopping the gun violence, either. At the end of the sit-in, the doctor walked away from me rather than give more information about stopping gun violence in an effective manner.

Then the meeting was open to the public to comment.

People lined up right away.

Of the hundred plus attendees in the room, only two people spoke in support of the Second Amendment and opposed Hahn's proposed "No Fly, No Buy" legislation.

Matthew Bybee spoke before me. Here are his remarks.

Notice how rude the audience was. They would not allow him to speak without the chorus of boos and "you're lying" behind him, trying to drown him out. As everyone knows, leftists support freedom of speech ... as long as you agree with them.

A young man spoke ahead of me. He was reticent at first to speak out, and even considered going last. He has asked me what to do. I told him that everything was going to be fine, and just speak.

Not only did he make a statement, the news captured the sad story of his sister killed in a shooting.

I really feel for the friends and family of violent criminals.

For that reason, I spoke in favor of the Second Amendment, and expanding access to Concealed Carry Weapons permits.

Here are my comments.

Once again, you will notice that the audience was very rude and disruptive because they did not agree with me. One crazy lady kept shouting "You're lying! You're lying!" At the end of my comments, I asked the woman to explain: "Why am I lying? How am I lying!"

It was a good moment to confront some of the audience and play the "civil rights" card against their disruptions. I talked about the Islamic terrorism, too. It amazed me that everyone else in the audience would not face this simple fact. When Aunt Janice claimed that her suggested legislation would not infringe on Second Amendment rights, I told her that was not true. I also reminded her--a second time--that the no-fly list argument is flawed.

Then came James Preston Allen. He gave his Random Lengths spiel about progressives and the little homes for the homeless. He also shared with everyone about my freuent contributions to his newsletter, probably one of the good reasons for reading his progressive rag, if there are any left. He also enumerated some strange arguments about the Second Amendment, like the fact that it was of "secondary importance" to the First Amendment.

Does that mean the abolition of slavery, as outlined in the 13th Amendment, was a much-less significant amendment?

A few other strange, left-wing highlights from the crowd included:

1. A teacher who hoped to see a statue of liberty made from melted guns in the Los Angeles Harbor.

2. A photographer from Random Lengths News.

3. A young activist from Organizing for Action.

4. A lawyer who claimed that most serial murders are committed by white people (what's her point? Not sure ...)

At the end of the meeting, Aunt Janice reminded everyone of her long resume (not many accomplishments, though). Notice how she characterized the House majority as reckless gun fanatics. The fact is that Congress is not going to waste time taking away people's rights on the Second Amendment.

Aunt Janice had numerous chances to repeal Obamacare. She had a number of opportunities to secure our borders, to stop the insane spending, to ensure full empowerment of the Bill of Rights in citizens' lives.

But no, taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is more important, enough to violate due process for every other voter in this country. Sure.

She then told everyone to call Speaker Paul Ryan's office and demand a floor-vote. She relived the glory of sitting on the House floor.  Of course, she forgot to mention that this "sit-in" was catered, with lots of media attention. Whoopee!

Final Reflection

Gun-control is not the answer. Conservatives should take up this mantra, the same way the Left tries to shame critics into silence with "Hate is not the asnwer."

Los Angeles County in particular, and California in general have the toughest gun laws on record.

Lots of murders, lots of gun violence, lots of moments of silence still ensue.

How about Chicago, Illinois? The gangs don't care about the rule of law, or the rules on the books to restrict gun ownership. The Windy City is winding up as a massive, bullet-riddled graveyard.

Gun control doe not control guns. Read, review, repeat.

Janice Hahn enjoyed her little media stunt, but pro-Second Amendment supporters like Matthew and me enjoyed good press and media coverage, too, in order to inform the "Sit-in" and the viewers at large that this problem will not be solved with more "Kumbaya" followed by "GimmeYaGuns".

Eric Bauman: LA Democratic Grand Marshall of Corruption

California Republicans need to pay more attention to the Democratic Party apparatus.

Chances are that they would find incompetence, corruption, and malfeasance writ large.

Who is the current chairman of the Los Angeles County Republican Party?

Eric Bauman.

This man is a machine politician. He is Boss Tweed without the jewels.

And he is noticeably silent in the face of corruption.

Huntington Park, Cudahy, Torrance even.

What's going on?

Bauman is the Vice-Chairman of the California Democratic Party.

Does the Democratic Party want to turn the party gavel over to this guy?

Has this man ever worked for a living in the state of California?

LA Weekly called out the corruption in the West Hollywood region, where challengers to the status quo wanted to end the corruption.

The same establishment hacks won ... again.

This insanity must cease.
