Trump Supporters: Fighting for "The Movement" is Not Enough

Sharp divisions have emerged among some Trump supporters.

There were the men and women who fought at the Battle of Berkeley in Mid-April. Then there have emerged sharp disagreements regarding the value and fate of Israel. I am shocked at some of the hostility from certain people calling themselves conservatives, who believe that Israel should not exist.

There are some supposed conservatives who also believe that the Jews control the media. These are racist canards which have nothing to do with MAGA conservatism. Did anyone of these anti-Israel detractors notice that President Trump has formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish State?

Internicine fights have emerged between different Trump supporters not just over which candidates to support in state or local elections. Personal tiffs have emerged into the public, much of it because adults insist on airing the personal grievances with people on social media.

This kind of behavior is fully immature and must be confronted.

There are people like Gay Cuck Spartan who jumped onto the Trump Train because they believed they could get some money or celebrity mileage out of ostentatious display.

What is causing much of this heart-ache and division? AL Werewolf mentioned the pride which agitates different Trump supporters to fight, and that's accepting the premise that some purported Trump supporters really care about the pro-American, Make America Great Agenda.

Johnny Benitez has been outed as a media-hound leftist by OC Weekly. The OCGOP has distanced itself from him because of his alt-right, in reality left-wing views. Other sources have indicated that Benitez is throwing a fit and starting fights with people because his "leadership" is under attack from other activists like me, Kyle Chapman, or anyone else.

And now I come to the premise for these fights: all this talk about commitment to a "movement". That kind of talk means nothing. What is "the movement"? The phrase alone implies following or jumping into some kind of fad.

For the Trump agenda to succeed, people in the fight to outline the goals they want to accomplish.

Do you want to make colleges great again, i.e. getting college-age students to stop drinking in communism as the big win for all? Then that's the fight you want to fight. Are you interested in educating voters on who Trump really is, rather than what the corrupt media, entertainment, and academic industries claim that he is? Then fight that fight.

Are you upset with illegal immigration? The attacks on free speech? What about the Second Amedment? The destructive assault on Judeo-Christian values in our country? Find that issue and fight for it, focus on making that a salient concern and start shifting the culture where you are--local, county, and statewide--to make a difference on that issue.

All this talk about "The Movement" is not defining a clear set of goals and focused outcomes. When people focus on accomplishing goals, not seeking their own pre-eminence, there is less conflict and more cooperation. I think part of the reason there are fights is that people are looking for an easy, fun time to show up to public events and showcase their support. Then they deal with people they do not like on their side of the street as well as on the opposite side. People are also getting caught up in which group they belong to, rather than focusing on the concerns they want to fight for.

one issue: immigration

Get over the labels. Establish the goals or the ideas that you want to promote, and get out there and do it!

Public appearances are all about making sure that the "Trump" side of the debate is heard, not just the pro-illegals, the progressives, the media Left, etc. This is a big issue, especially since the corrupt, self-limiting media have not stopped shaming and slamming the conservative policies which are taking off in this country. Why else does the polling show dissatisfaction with the tax cuts?

This is about more than some amorphous movement. This is about fighting for everything that has made America great, and which needs to be promoted so that American can be great again!

Popcorn: Los Angeles County Democratic Party Still Leaderless

The Los Angeles County Republican Party Central Committee is corrupted and defunct.

But the Republican and conservative activists are rising up and taking back our party.

As for the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, they are falling apart from within.

They can't even get credible leadership at this time.

Darren Parker, the state assembly candidate who ran against Tom Lackey--and lost--was supposed to run for LACDP chair, now that Eric Bauman is the (embattled) chairman of the entire state Democratic Party.

But what is this?

He is dropping out!

My plan was to spend the next few weeks engaging in an exciting campaign to become your next LA County Chair. Unfortunately, as some of you have already learned, life sometimes has other plans. 

Is there a criminal investigation in the works? Did he do something wrong?

I would like to inform everyone that Parker was working for Speaker Anthony Rendon.

And nobody in the California Democratic Party grassroots likes Speaker Rendon. They see him as the very corporate shill which Bernie Sanders and all the other progressives have been fighting hard against.

Parker is part of the Democratic Party establishment, and the grassroots in the state of California are tired of getting kicked in the teeth by the party bosses who lined their pockets and solidify their power at the expense of working people.

After much discussion with my family, my committee, and numerous others. I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the future vacated position as LACDP Chair should it become available.

I am blessed to continue strengthening my region, my district, and most importantly, transforming the 25th Congressional District held by Steve Knight to BLUE.

The fight for Steve Knight's seat has gone from bad to worse for the Democratic Party.

As much as Republican grassroots have found Congressman Knight's dithering on key issues frustrating, he is still very popular with the widespread number of voters and constituents in the district.

The truth is that the Democratic Party candidates are too liberal and way too out of touch with the needs of the district. One of the Democratic Congressional candidates actually admitted that she could not openly support single-payer health care.

She refused, and even the Los Angeles Times had to report her double-dealing.

Ouch!

I can't express how humbling the overwhelming show of support from so many delegates, elected officials,organizations has been in supporting my candidacy for LACDP Chair. Thank you for that vote of confidence.

There was not enough support for him to win, though, especially with his connections to the corrupt Speaker Anthony Rendon!

Final Reflection

The Democratic Party is not the united front which the media and their establishment handlers claim them to be.

They have terrible infighting, which is now spilling out into the public. The press can no longer put a lid on stopping all the hate. The Kimberly Ellis-Eric Bauman debacle exposes how corrupt the fight has become. The Democratic Party grassroots are even leaving the party in large numbers, they are so fed up with being taken for a ride, then dumped after Election Day.

Darren Parker's downfall as LACDP is more proof of this fight.

The Democratic Party Bloodbath Begins

I love getting spam from MoveOn.org. They are livid and hemorrhaging about the Democratic Party caving to the Republicans and losing to Donald Trump in the general election. They are now realizing that the entire progressive agenda constructed by Barack Obama is about to fail and fall apart all around them, and there is nothing they can do about it.

They are even harassing and stepping on other Democratic US Senators and warning them that they will face primary challenges if they do not stay true to their far-left wing ideology.

This is going to be fun for Republicans to watch for the next four years!

P.S. Like you, I'm sure, I'm still buzzing from the absolute splendor of the Women's Marches and the passion of last weekend's airport actions. I've kept a list of my favorite signs, and I wanted to share one that made me think especially of MoveOn: "They tried to bury us, but they didn't realize that we were seeds." For me, that captures the sheer beauty of millions of MoveOn members joined together in the fight of our lives. Trump and the GOP are trying to bury us in a firestorm of outrageous and racist attacks on our democracy. But they haven't realized—yet—what we're capable of. Together. 

Thank you for keeping my hope alive. Thank you for helping power MoveOn, and for all you do.

Reflection

Barack Obama promised his progressive peers and the Democratic Party's base that he would be a hope and change President.

HA!

Now, the Democratic Party looks like a hopeless and increasingly irrelevant cause. In cities and states where Democrats dominate, the poverty rates are skryocketing, homeownership is plummeting, the infrastructure is crumbling, the cost of living is outrageous, the schools are indoctrinating children to be useless SJW victims.

It's terrible.

And the only opposition is becoming less vocal by the day in those states.

But throughout the rest of the country, red states are getting redder, and Republicans are putting up a fight for the long haul to govern in the best interests of their citizens rather than in the perverse interest of their Big Business donors.
