Rejection of and Resignation from the LAGOP Central Committee

Dear "Chairman" Janice and AD 66 GOP Central Committee members:

When I first put my name on the ballot to run for Central Committee, I was hoping to work with a new team of leaders and activists who wanted to make a difference, who wanted to turn the tide in Los Angeles County and the state, to improve the status of the Republican Party.

I was initially disappointed to see that almost the entire slate of people who had served last time -- or rather, who had failed to serve -- was re-elected, aside from myself. I was hoping that things could have changed following my installation as a member.

Sadly, in the last three weeks, I have seen that the AD 66 GOP Central Committee and the LA County GOP leadership still as a whole represent a continuation of the same old failures, followed by corrupt actions and practices. It is astounding to me that Richard Sherman can pat himself on the back with a couple of his previous leaders to take credit for Mike Garcia's and Young Kim's victories, when it has become increasingly clear that these candidates won back losses which happened under Sherman's "leadership" two years prior, and only because of grassroots activism and candidate determination did those seats come back into the GOP fold.

The State of the LAGOP Central Committee Today

Mark Tsuneishi was rightly elected interim Chairman of the AD 66 GOP Central Committee in January 2019, I believe, because the organization meeting the previous month had violated the county by-laws and committee member Rick Marshall challenged those results, and correctly so. Then the county leaders violated more by-laws and pushed aside those lawfully obtained results, and reinstalled Janice without any consent of the governed in that particular central committee.

The AD 66 GOP Central Committee violated by-laws in the past, when they changed the location of the meeting at the last minute on ex-officio members Omar Navarro and Rick Marshall in last 2016. They violated by-laws again when they kept Rick Marshall out of the county central committee meeting a few years later, when he had the votes to oust the corrupt chairman. That is beyond inexcusable.

And who can forget the fact that in 2016 the current, unlawfully installed chair Janice Webb called my work, tried to pressure my boss to pressure me to cancel a meeting that hosted Latinos for Trump. Such practices are unethical and illegal. And the fact that the new crop of Central Committee members wanted to reward the same bad actor--bad actors--is just astounding.

The Central Committee also violated by-laws when they revoked the charter of the Beach Cities Republicans without cause, not having the courage to admit to their members or to the public that it was simply because they did not like my activism or the decision of the members to re-elect me President of that club in 2016. Leadership had pledged to other Republicans in the county that they would have restored the charter once I moved on from the club, but even then they did not keep their word.

And now, Janice has the perverse audacity to get upset with me because I am informing other Republicans in the district--her constituents--that her failed leadership continues on the AD66 Central Committee and throughout the county.

I am beyond disgusted with all of this. It is crystal clear to me what other Republicans in the district have already told me: "The AD 66 Central Committee is a waste of time."

It's with great reluctance and great anguish that I make this decision, but I hereby resign from the LA COUNTY GOP Central Committee. I am just beyond disgusted with the hypocrisy, with the lack of real effort, and with the fact that bad leadership by Janice Webb has actually been REWARDED with another term. I cannot serve with such hypocrisy, dysfunction, and corruption.

Sincerely,

Arthur Christopher Schaper

BREAKING: New Leadership Takes Over AD-66 (New Permanent Minority Puppets Thrown Out)

Well, it finally happened.

From the looks of things, the by-law breaking and capricious leadership of the AD-66 Central Committee finally is coming to an end.
coerr
Speaking with various sources within the Central Committee and outside of the Central Committee, I discovered that the following has occured:

The previous Central Committee leadership, with Janice Webb as AD-66 Chair, had violated number of County Central Committee by-laws. Of course, the LA County GOP Central Committee has a long history of violating by-laws, including the abrupt, unjust, and illegal revocation of the charters for two volunteer organizations: The Mountain View Republicans and the Beach Cities Republicans.

The current members had an election in November 2018, including members who were no longer eligible to vote.

The reorganization needed to take place in December, after new members were sworn into the Central Committee, including Frank Scotto, the recent candidate for AD-66 State Assembly. Scotto did not cast a vote for the new leadership. Furthermore, David Hadley, the former assemblyman, former candidate for governor, current and outgoing state vice-chair, had cast a vote when he was not eligible to do so.

In January this year, one member of the central committee, Rick Marshall, asked for a point of order to challenge the election from November last year. The chairwoman, Janice Webb, ruled against him, but the member challenged the ruling of the chair. Roberts Rules of Order allows an individual to challenge previous decisions and to tally a final vote to uphold the point of order.

The members of the central committee ruled with Rick Marshall, and the elections from November 2018.

A temporary chair was elected--Mark Tsuneishi--and a temporary secretary took over, Marlene Silva.

Two weeks later, a new election was held: February 11, 2019.

New members have joined the AD-66 Central Committee: Ken Wright, the Congressional candidate who ran against Ted Lieu, and the father of Joshua Scott, who ran for Congress against Grace Napolitano, but who is permitted to serve on his local central committee because he ran for partisan office.

The four previous leaders--Janice Webb, Patty LaGrelius, Jon Fleming, and Frank Scotto too--did not even show up for the meeting. They pretty much knew that the vote and the final votes were not going to go their way.

I would say that those four individuals were like sore losers. They realized that the original elected leaders were not going to win in the second vote at all.

As of yesterday, there is new leadership for the AD-66 Central Committee:

AD-66 Central Committee Chairman Rick Marshall

Chairman: Rick Marshall
Vice-Chair: Mark Tsuneishi
Secretary: Marlene Silva
Treasurer: Larry Scott

Congratulations!

What Does All of This Mean?

This is a victory I can relish and greatly appreciate.

Janice Webb was one of the most ineffective, corrupt, and dissolute leaders for any local or state-connected Republican organization in the state.

She had called my work to pressure my boss, Craig Huey, to make me cancel a meeting which would feature Latinos for Trump, including Marco Gutierrez. She tried to intimidate me to cancel the meeting, and I refused.

The County Central Committee leaders at the time, including Executive Director Jason "Spellcheck" Maruca, Howard Fakes, and Gary "SCAM"-inoff, along with previous empty chairman Mark "the Weasel" Vafiades, went to great lengths to lie about the Beach Cities Republicans. They basically threatened the membership of the club, that if they elected me as President again--which they did--that the club's charter would be revoked.

What a joke! The members of the club refused to be bullied or intimidated, and I released all the information about what the county executive committee was doing. They didn't like that, and I stood up to them.

Playing sour grapes, the executive committee from January 2017 revoked the Beach Cities Republicans charter for baseless reasons, they even lied to the public and to the press. It was pretty sad.

I was really unhappy with how corrupt, how unjust the whole affair had become. I continued to serve as President of the Beach Cities Republicans for one more term. Janice, sadly, continued to serve as chair, and the rest of the previous leadership, backed up by New Majority money and the pressure from Andy Gharakani, aka Andy Gimmecandy.

Gharakani has been a force of corruption and abuse in Los Angeles County. He and his cronies have been raking in consultant money and taking county donations which have gone to other county central committees. Republicans have raised little money and done even less for GOP candidates in Los Angeles County, and ther disastrous 2018 election results spelled out in full that something is rotten in the state of RPLAC.

It's been this way for a long, long time, and FINALLY someone has done something about it.

Rick Marshall called out the hastily-elected leadership from 2018 and demanded a revote, which RPLAC by-laws permitted him and others to do.

My understanding from AD-66 Central Committee members and others who have learned about what is going on is that there is a general frustration with the lawlessness and the rule-breaking that has been going on a long time, and all of it because of the New Majority, or better yet the New Permanent Minority, or should I wrote the New Permanent Superminority.

These liberal, big money Republicans have been taking advantage of central committees, candidates, and grassroots volunteers for a long time. They are doing nothing to promote GOP values or to help candidates win. Instead of doing what is right for the party and thus for the state, they settled for controlled failure and diminished relevance, but as long as they get invited to all the parties and blame "inevitable demographics", then all is well for them.

Enough is enough.

I am so glad that creepy, corrupt Janice Webb has been deposed and that there is now new leadership at the AD-66th Central Committee!

God bless Donald Trump, and as for Janice Webb:

"I'M FIRED! OH NO!!"

YOU'RE FIRED!

The California Impact Republicans, And the Need to Sit at the Cool Kids' Table

September last year, I attended a meeting of the South Bay Impact Republicans. This group is an offshot of disgruntled members who left the California Republican Assembly.

Apparently, there were reports of fraud, corruption, fake memberships, blah, blah, blah.

It would be nice to see principled conservative leadership in the state of California, but the divisions have gone from bad to worse, especially as big money establishment people seem more invested in barely getting by as Republicans continue losing ground in the state of California.

I am not privy to all the problems that were eating away at the California Republican Assembly leadership way back in the day. I do know that Aaron Park was summarily banned for life from the CRA, which is really strange. That's a pretty heavy-handed punishment, and for what?

In February 2017, at the Winter CRP Convention, the California Impact Republicans sought a statewide charter. They got it, and I had no problem with that. Some people opposed this move, including the new leaders of the Calfornia Republican Assembly Thomas Hudson. The CRA President sought to table the move until a later time.

That motion failed. Other people spoke up at the microphone and asked for a "No" vote because of their dubious views of the Park brothers, the men and women behind the group. Other former CRA members have joined the Impact Republicans, including Todd Blair and William Briscoe, who had served as President of the CRA.

It seems like there's a lot of hurt and upset among the different members, and the whole purpose of starting the CIR was to get back at the leaders or the conflicted members in the CRA.

Just an observation.

At the October 2017 Convention, the CIR sent around a flyer endorsing John Cox for Governor. Cox, with his immense wealth, also put big money behind lanyards to hold up delegate and associate badges. It was a cheap move to get support, but Cox cannot buy love and support in that manner. They are backing Cox, the same guy who had voted for Gary Johnson, who has no discernible record of taking on illegal immigration, who has not even been elected to office.

Sorry, Johnny, but we the conservative voters of California are just not that into you. Your money can't buy our love. It's not working. From this connection between Cox and the California Impact Republicans, I have this sinking feeling that the only reason why the California Impact Republicans got behind John Cox is due to his money. This focus comes from  a consultant mentality, nothing more. Consultants matter, sure, since candidates running for office cannot rely on themselves to organize and coordinate key events.

But the consultant class in general is most interested in enriching itself. This is a big reason why big primary fights are breaking out in some states. It's more than conservative resurgence. It's also a clash of political campaign consultants and managers who want to make big money, and the primary and general election results be damned.

This is not good.

At any rate ....

California Impact Republicans invited me to meet Sheriff Joe Arpaio two months before the 2016 Election. That was nice. He was in the midst of his toughest re-election yet, and that time Arpaio lost, mostly because of a trumped-up contempt of court charge. President Trump pardoned him in spite of that. Now Sheriff Joe is running for US Senate. Wow, how times have changed.

At any rate, I could see that the California Impact Republicans, at least the leaders whom I have met and the meetings that I have attended, seemed more interested in working with the Central Committees, especially the corrupted leadership of RPLAC.

It was very disappointing when I look back at the September, 2017 meeting of the CIR in Torrance, CA.

Here are the videos I recorded of the meeting:

I look back at this meeting, and I must say that it was sad to see the South Bay Impact Republicans invite Janice Webb. She is corrupt, a terrible leader whom other members of the Central Committee have no respect for.

She called my work to pressure my boss and me to cancel a meeting. Shameful.

What is going on here, though? It all comes down to this: this new volunteer group was interested in sitting at the Cool Kids's Table, even though the RINO leaders in the weak, useless central committees from the county leadership down to the different districts.

I chased away Janice Webb:

Again, what is the point of a volunteer club if they spend more time making nice with bad leaders? I noticed that some of the leaders in CIR did not say anything to me when I confronted the corrupt leaders and the progressive losers who sold out to sit at "The Cool Kids' table."

Here's the final problem: the Cool Kids' Table is not cool. I fear that some of these volunteer groups are more interested in being liked, and they are more interested in going with the establishment "winning" candidate, i.e. the guy who seems to have a better chance because he has lots of money.

That is wrong. Besides, the California Impact Republicans ... have not had much of an impact to begin with. Where is the leadership to make California Great Again? John Cox didn't even vote for Trump for President!

More RPLAC Fails: 66th-AD Central Committee Cannot Replace One Member

The Republican Party of Los Angeles is bumbling, bereft, and for all intents and purposes bankrupt.

Whatever fundraising done by RINO Chairman Richard Sherman, they have no money to show for their anti-conservative efforts.

The board members of the Beach Cities Republicans have no interest in regaining a charter from the Central Committee. They had every interest in persecuting me and others in the Beach Cities Republicans, but they had no interest in winning elections against corrupt, evil, baseless Democrats. In one case, it seems as though the self-enriching consultant class has been more interest in representing candidates and getting fees than winning back the state of California for all citizens. When does their loser-mentality failures end?

The 66th-AD Central Committee had an epic opportunity to carry on their victories. They witnessed the election for the former CAGOP Central Committee chairman David Hadley, who won the assembly seat, the first Republican to represent the South Bay in 22 years.

"I'm a loser!"
And what did Chairwoman Janice Webb and company do with this victory? They lost.

What were they thinking?

Now a steady exodus of members from this bereft, corrupted Central Committee has emerged, and even now they are missing a member.

Who would want to work with micromanaging loser Janice Webb, anyway?

What's the matter, RINOs?

No one wants to work with you?

What can I say? No one wants to be around a bunch of losers!

More RPLAC Fails: Done David, Cheating Chad, Howard Fakes, and Andy Gimme-Candy

In the above photo you will see the three biggest RINOs yet.

First, there's the corrupt and unpleasant Andy Gharakani, aka Gimme-Candy.

He basically helps fund the useless, feckless, and now morally bankrupt Republican Party of Los Angeles County Central Committee.

He was also part of the reason why the charter for the Beach Cities Republicans was taken away--for no reason at all.

Then there's Cheating Chad Mayes! He lost his wife, he lost whatever morals he claimed to possess, and now he's about to lose his leadership position as head of the dwindling minority caucus in Sacramento.

Then there's this other loser named Howard Hakes.

He is running for US Senate, and he's a proud member of the New Minority. They don't want to win. They want to define "majority" in terms of the least objectionable Democrat or squishy RINO.

The goal is to protect their pocketbooks, their business interests.

Oh brother.

But with the latest fallouts for the liberal lunacy claiming to be Republicans I can still claim that there is some winning.

The winning!

The winning is just too much.

I was so sad on Monday, when 8 Republican members of the state legislature caved on compromised on whatever principles they had.

At the same time, this fail had to happen.

We the People of the state of California  need to wake up.

The Deep State of Sacramento, the Swamp, the Third House, whatever you want to the collective of crony capitalists and special interests are running our government, not our elected officials, and therefore not us.

It's time for the grassroots to grow from the weeds to the trees.

It never said in the Constitution "We the Republicans" or "We the Democrats."

The preamble is very clear: "We the People".

Why don't we visit the Declaration of Independence, too?

So, what is there to celebrate, of a sort?

1. David Hadley drops out of the Governor's race.

This is great news on so many levels.

First, this ensures a narrower field of Republican contenders. Yes, it's still a long shot, but at least there are only two strong contenders for the nomination.

Second, this is a major blow the Munger's Millions. All the money in the world will not make voters excited about a candidate who is ... not exciting.

Not only that, but Hadley rejected Trump. This decision burned up the grassroots really badly. Republican groups in Palos Verdes refused to help him because of this decision. Other activists told me plainly how outraged they were by this decision. They had had enough.

I am beginning to think that maybe part of the reason Trump did so poorly in the 66th AD district was that Hadley had turned off voters and they decided not to vote at all. Maybe it was a causation thing.

If Hadley has been a proud or at least simply stated "I will vote for Trump", then get back to running his own race, all would have gone better.

Who knows?

So the Third reason this is big: NeverTrumps are now NeverWinners.

It's about time that they get called out on their lack of principle.

Consider how off-based and out-of-touch Hadley was on the Trump issue.

The Torrance-based Daily Breeze announced that Hadley voted for Libertarian in Name Only Gary Johnson. That is deeply troubling, too. Who wants a Republican governor who refused to support the President?

Not me. That's one reason why I am leaning toward Travis Allen, since he has not run away from his support for the President, before and after his election in 2016.

Now, who was putting big money and hopes into Hadley's gubernatorial bid?

The Republican Party of Los Angeles County Central Committee! And now their hopes are further dashed. What little pull and heft they claimed to possess, it has all fallen away!

Boohoo!

Janice Webb
Caught in her own devices

Fourth, the downfall of Hadley's bid for Governor and their happy photo-op with Chad Mayes exposes how corrupt the RINO LA County Central Committee has become.

Just look at the above photo, and you can see that these three losers were fraternizing together. Now RPLAC is well-known as the corrupt group that shuts down volunteer organizations and hob-knobs with cheaters and traitors.

What little credibility they had ... is now gone.

Fifth: Janice Webb, the puppet for Andy Gimme-Candy, Gary SCAM-inoff, and Mark "The Weasel" Vafiades has been thoroughly discredited, useless, and unimportant.

What a victory for the grassroots.

Now it's time for conservatives, for hard-core passionate Republicans in word and deed to take over these central committees and run for office!

UPDATE: 5:55pm

The corrupt central committee has even more egg on their face.

As very few people know, Hadley gave an hour long presentation at the last RPLAC central committee on July15, 2017.

He spoke for 40 minutes!

He was revved up, pumped up, ready to take on the race!

He even fielded questions for another 20 minutes. When it came to the question about "Who did you vote for?" Hadley gave a long, convoluted answer. Then admitted he had voted for Gary Johnson for President.

Unreal.

Shameful.

It is any surprise that he dropped out five days later? Who in the Republican Party of California would want to vote for this guy?

UPDATE: Who Else is Leaving the Corrupted AD-66 Republican Central Committee?

Wow.

Janice Webb, the corrupt, craven, micro-managing chairwoman of the 66th AD Central Committee just can't catch a break.

People thought I was a great leader ...

First, she threatens, alienates, and then ultimately pushes to remove the charter for one of the most successful Republican clubs in Los Angeles County.

Then she alienates and irritates members of the Central Committee which she chairs.

Isn't she supposed to help Republicans get elected?

What about raising money and registering voters?

NOPE. NOPE. NOPE.

Now, two members of the Central Committee have walked off, although their reasons have not been clearly announced (one can certainly guess, and none of it is good for the RINO-PLAC Executive leadership of Janice "Caught in a" Webb of Lies.

Then there's more.

Words in the background suggest that MORE MEMBERS are about to jump ship.

Who could they be?!

And why so many defections?

Why ride a corrupted, creaking central committee which spends more time undermining Republican activists and candidates instead of helping to build the team?

It's time for more Republicans to follow the pattern of the Hawaiian Island Republican Assembly and demand the following:

1. Clean House

2. WIN!

3. Make California Great Again

With crappy, failing leaders like Janice Webb, Richard Sherman, and Mark Vafiades, leadership that continues to lose will be the norm rather than the slight exception!

Enough is enough!

.. But I'm really a useless micromanager ...
And that's why everyone's quitting  the Central Committee

Call Janice Webb, and demand that she step down from her corroded lack of leadership NOW!

BREAKING: Two Members of the Corrupted AD-66 Republican Central Committee Quit!

As if the residents--and particularly the Republicans--needed any more proof  that the RINO county central committee and their handi-picked chairwoman for AD-66 was not bad enough.

Two more members of the AD-66 Central Committee have resigned.

1. Vice-Chairman Ken Hartley

From Hermosa Beach, small business owner and 3-time Chamber of Commerce Chairman formally resigned from the Central Committee.

Here was the statement released to the members of the committee:

Subject: 66th Central Committee
I believe the time has come for me to move on from the 66th AD Central Committee.  Please accept this email as my resignation from the group.

I’m honored to have served on the Committee.

Regards,
Ken

Not much to report, apparently.

2. Gene Starr

He gave a more extended set of remarks regarding his decision to leave the AD-66 Central Committee:

Perhaps the sudden change of meeting times and places had something to do with the disaffection of these two members.

Everybody's quiting ! Why?!

Or maybe the fact that the Central Committee leadership, from the county headuarters down to Janice Webb has done a terrible job of raising money, registering voters, and vetting candidates to run for office?

Of course, let's not forget the perverse attacks she and the board launched against the Beach Cities Republicans!

AD-66 Chairwoman Janice Webb's reign of error is coming back to haunt her--more people do not want to work with the corrupt RINO Central Committee of Los Angeles County!

Serves them right!

March 7, 2017 RINO-PLAC Fails

The Republican Party lined up another string of major fails for Election Day, March 7 2017

First, there was Redondo Beach, CA.

Martha Barbee was already appointed to the Redondo Beach City Council.

That should have provided her an advantage, right?

She even visited the Beach Cities Republicans and spoke to our club.

And yet ...

Congratulations, RINOs!

I am so disappointed by this loss.

What does the AD-66th Central Committee have to say for itself?

This is just shameful! SHAMEFUL!

Then there is Doug Rodriguez.

He served on the planning commission in Redondo Beach.

He was planning on a bid for city council at least since 2014.

I offered to help him any way that I could. I even invited him to speak at our club.

He could not make it because he serves on the Planning Commissions.

And look how his race turned out:

Bravo, AD-66 RINOS!

And who leads the AD-66 Central Committee?!

That's right, her royal RINO-ness, Janice (Tangled in a) Webb!

I can't win elections for anyone,
But at least I got rid of Arthur and the largest
volunteer GOP organization in the South Bay!

Now, let's talk about the feckless County Central Committee, which has done more to silence conservatives than get good people elected to office ...

In another city in a region far, far away from the South Bay ..

Cudahy wars!

Jack Guerrero is the true conservative in a field of donkeys, Demo-rats, and full-on traitors (including former ally Chris Garcia and political opportunist Sandra Orozco).

Jack Guerrero

He is the only real Republican in the five major Southeastern Los Angeles region (Huntington Park, Bell, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, Maywood)

And what did RINO-PLAC do for him?

Jack squat  on a stick.

NOTHING!

Brave, RINOS!

But even though the "Republican" Party of Los Angeles County did nothing for Jack Guerrero, He won anyway!

Here is where we find new leadership--in the people who actually do the work and make things happen in their own communities!

Thanks for Revoking Beach Cities Republicans' Charter, RINO-PLAC!

The musings have become murmurings.

And the murmurings have become rumors.

And now today, the criticism from the enraged citizenry have come forward and called out the corruption and bad leadership of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County, aka RPLAC, now known as RINO-PLAC.

This is what
GOP activism
looks like!

What is the point of a county central committee when they kick volunteers in the face? Why have a political party in the first place when a couple of wealthy insiders live by their own set of rules, then arbitrarily apply them to everyone else.

I am certain that Beach Cities Republicans Founders Harry Eicher and James Crean would have never seen this day. How shocked they would be to learn that RPLAC leadeship has become corrupted, with no real intention for meeting or even existing ... besides giving a couple of pre-eminent elitist a sense of relevance, plus a place to go on weekends to look like big shots.

What a sad disaster the county has become.

I reached out to former RPLAC leaders and activists. There was a time when a Republican Congressman, state senator, and state assemblyman represented the South Bay in Los Angeles County!

What happened?!

Now, the leaders are content to live off donation welfare and do nothing more than just get together once a month and contemplate their irrelevance.

Here is the current leadership:

Mark Vafiades

Gary Aminoff

Janice Webb

Gary SCAM-inoff has been involved with the Republican Party of Los Angeles County for ... decades.

What does he have to show for his lack of effort?

Would someone please tell me?

Vafiades pushes me out in a rush hearing based on corruption and flimsy charges.

Then there's Janice (caught in a) Webb (of deceit), who called me work trying to pressure me to cancel a meeting, and very likely released the private contacts of all the members of our club to help another candidate remove me as President of the Beach Cities Republicans.

And she was also behind the same corrupt attempt to get rid of me, when she was supposed to ... register voters, raise money, recruit and retain candidates and volunteers.

And speaking of volunteers ...

I just want to say "Thank you" to the RINO-PLAC leaders. This whole charter business has turned out to be a smokescreen for well-dressed irrelevance.

The Mountain View Republican Club faced abuse and bullying because they were activists. They took their show somewhere else and have continued to succeed.

The Beach Cities Republicans has gained more numbers, fame, and influence after losing the "revered" charter.

Anyone striving to get an RPLAC charter is setting themselves up for a liability.

RINO-PLAC: all dressed up and going nowhere fast!

Thank you for taking it away - we are true Republicans, and we want know part of RINO-PLAC!

November 21, 2016 AD-66 Central Committee Meeting Illegally Moved At Last Minute: What Happened?

At the January 19, 2017 Beach Cities Republicans meeting, First Vice-President Omar Navarro reminded the club that the Central Committee shut him out and changed locations of the meeting without telling him.

I can now tell him and everyone else what happened at the meeting that night.

November 21, 2016

I expected to attend a meeting of the AD-66 at David Hadley’s old campaign office.

I intended to come in late, because I was working on something else at the time.

I wanted to speak with the Chairwoman Janice Webb, because she had been undermining me and the efforts of the Beach Cities Republicans.

She tried to get one of our meetings canceled. She even called my work to pressure my boss to cancel the meeting.

Very bad, and illegal.

So, the meeting was set to start at 7:00pm

And yet … when two of the members of the Central Committee arrived, the meeting was not there.

It had been moved at the last minute.

Why?

I went to the building myself, and no one was there.

I have received information to confirm what was going on.

The Committee Chairwoman, Janice Webb, moved the meeting at the last minute—actually, about 45 minutes before the meeting was to begin.

They met at the Kiwanis Hall in Hermosa Beach.

Four other people were there:

Gary Aminoff

Maureen Johnson

Jason Maruca

Andy Gharakani

What was going on? Why were these individuals there?

Why were these RPLAC individuals holding a secret meeting, and withholding the location from other members of the Central Committee?

What were they talking about?

They violated RPLAC By-Laws.

Here are the specific by-laws which Webb had violated:

RPLAC By-Laws, Article XIV, Section 6. Meetings of District Committees.

a. The District Committee may be convened at any time upon the call of the Chairman
or upon the written call signed by not less than six (6) Regular Members and/or Ex-Officio
members or a majority, whichever is the lesser, of the Senatorial or Congressional District
Committee and not less than four (4) Regular Members and/or Ex-Officio Members of an
Assembly District Committee. It shall be the duty of the Chairman to preside at such meetings,
and he shall be entitled to vote on all business. Notice of meetings called by the Chairman shall
be given by the Secretary to each Regular Member, Alternate Member and Ex-Officio Member
of the Committee as provided for in this Section.

Janice Webb: Playing Hide-n-Seek
with her Central Committee Members?

When meetings are called by Regular Members and/or Ex-Officio Members of the
Committee, at least five (5) days notice in writing shall be given in advance of such meetings to
every Regular Member and Ex-Officio Member not joining in the call, and such notice shall likewise state the purpose for which the meeting is being called. Notices of time and place of all
meetings of the District Committee shall be sent to the Chairman and Secretary of the County
Committee. Minutes from all District Committee meetings shall be forwarded to the Secretary
of the County Committee within ten (10) days of such meeting. In the event the minutes are
amended or corrected at a subsequent meeting, such amended or corrected minutes should be
sent to the Secretary of the County Committee within ten (10) days of such correction or
amendment.

b. Frequency of meetings. The Assembly District Committees shall meet, preferably
monthly but at a minimum, quarterly, and such meetings shall be called by written notice as

specified in Section 6.a. of this Article.

They were doing things in secret.

They are preventing other members of the party from knowing what is going on.

Huh?

No wonder things are out of sorts in Los Angeles County.

What is going on with these people?

And why those individuals there?

I have been sending email after email to the leadership team.

No answers.

What were they discussing?

One source informs me that they were frustrated with the situation between the Central Committee and the Beach Cities Republicans.

Another source was pretty emphatic—they just complained about me and wanted to find some way to remove me. BUT WHY?

They were complaining about me.

Andy Gharakani, otherwise known as Mr. New Majority (HA!) called me and other conservatives "crazies."

This what is has been going with the Republican "leadership" in the Los Angeles County GOP Central Committee.

Mark Vafiades was the President of the California Congress of Republicans. They are a liberal group and want to remove key parts of the CA GOP platform.

Maureen Johnson holds liberal views. She had told me emphatically that she does not care if a man wants to marry a horse or another man. She bragged about all the "gay" friends she has, and she also believes that an abortion should be "between a woman and God."

Rudy Guiliani held those views in 2008--and he tanked in the primary. Pro-Choice is not really about choice, and pro-life forces are actually more vocal than ever--and effective.

Sorry, but the slow and steady abandonment of the Republican Party platform is teh problem, not the solultion for saving our state.

I was so disgusted to learn that they had conspired together to push me out of the Presidency by threatening to suspend the Beach Cities Republicans Charter.

Gary Aven was at the meeting, and even admitted to the group that he had decided not to attend the November meeting to vote for the next President. Why? Because he had known that Jason Maruca was going to send me an email to force me to step down by threatening the club members.

They were all aware of this?!

Why all this secrecy?

This is crazy!

This cloak-and-dagger garbage is a larger part of the reason why concerned conservatives in Los Angeles County have been turned off by all the nonsense consuming Republicans and sabotaging their chances.

This is worse than infighting. This is corruption.

Gary Aminoff remarked sadly that as much as they had tried to get rid of me, I had won 3/4 of the votes in the club. Our club is growing, actively and effectively.

We had a number of volunteers working on  local campaigns.

And this is the thanks that The Beach Cities Republicans was getting in return.

Shame on them!

Because of this by-laws violation, I filed a number of complaints - and nothing was done.

Now you can see why. Gary Aminoff was the By-Laws Committee Chairman at the time, and he was involved in the very violation that took place!

By-Laws Violation? What By-Laws Violation?

I cannot believe how much betrayal had taken place behind my back and against the Beach Cities Republicans!

All of this must stop!

RINO-PLAC leaders who aided and abetted this nonsense have to be held accountable!
