"Occupy Movement Matures" -- A Mature Response

Contrary to the headlined assertion of Random Lengths News, the Occupy Everywhere Movement is hardly "maturing", for it was never mature to begin with!

Angry people shouting in the public square, disrupting public commerce, blaming the wrong people for their poverty and privation -- it's as nauseating as a teenager crapping in his pants, then crying for mommy and daddy to clean up the mess.

If anyone needs to be blamed, it's not the bankers, not the Wall Street executives, not the corporations -- it's Big Government! From Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with its foolish promises of universal homeownership to the outrageous bailouts that propped up failed governmental institutions, Big Government is the Big Cause for what ails the United States of America.

I am tired of watching and hearing a bunch of uninformed fops and fools bemoaning their one hampered status in this country and around the world.

I am one of so-called "99%", but so are many of the millionaires whom the massive rabble of miscreants want to tax. The same people with wealth who invest and create jobs are the same people that over-blown talking heads like Roseanne Barr want to execute by guillotine! This is madness, pure and simple.

And to top it off, these loud crowds that cause public leaders to cower in political paralysis are driving their own out of business! Downtown LA suffered a huge backlash when the weekly Downtown Farmer's Market had to move permanently. The same small businesses struggling to get by have lost at least 50% of their business clientele to these angry, heedless hordes.

Mature protest does not indict the wrong people for the problems facing this country. Mature protesters do not encroach upon the rights of others. A mature media would recognize the difference and stop romanticizing this floundering movement of adult-children who refuse to grow up, get dressed, and get out there and make the most of a tough world without a handout from the state.
