Matthew Vitale is the famous college student from UC Riverside whose MAGA hat was stolen by a La Raza hater.
The lady who stole his hat walked all the way to the student affairs office on campus. She could not stop ranting and raving about how the hat was a symbol of genocide, white supremacy, etc.
Lo and Behold, he was a featured guest at the Riverside Republican Assembly meeting which I attended on Thursday.
He gave me some time so that I could interview him!
With so much going on over the past two months, I didn't have the time that I had hoped for to cover other fun events I had participated in.

Philippe is a rising star in the California Republican Party.
He has a strong libertarian streak, and wants to see the CAGOP reach out and connect with everyone, especially disaffected Democrats.
On immigration, left and right, Republican and Democrat, Americans are fed up with illegal immigration. This issue is not as contentious as it was thought to be 8 years ago, or even 16 years ago.
After the debate, I confronted the College Democrats. I simply asked this question:
"What would you like to tell the parents of Kate Steinle?"
They didn't have an answer. No surprise there.
Final Reflection
I wish that more people had attended the UCI debate.
The forum was lightly attended, and there were more liberal members than conservative. Some of the most outspoken were the DACA students!
I couldn't believe it.
One thing that I learned from this forum: conservatives need to start showing up to these events.
We need to understand that debates are not just about an exchange of ideas. Democrats use these events to promote themselves and demote Republicans. They recognize that these events are spectacles.
Republicans need to step up their game. Demonstrate their superior knowledge, then take down the opposition like a boss!
Who is this instructor at Orange Coast College, who was using classroom time, instruction time during her course on human sexuality to rail against President-Elect Trump and criticize him with false attacks and libelous attacks?

felt like High School Sex Ed class. She does all the talking.
An easy A, but boring, a lot like high school. A number of the comments read like this.

How do students excel in her class?
Genuinely nice person and pretty funny. No homework, no
tests, all quizzes are online and open book. 2 one page papers over the
semester. Attendance will help keep your grade up and if you keep good
attendance a decent amount of extra credit is available at the end of the
semester. Textbook is necessary to do the quizzes.
Open book and open note? What kind of an education is that?!
Then the comments took a very negative turn, and that was before the election:
AVOID IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT HUMAN
SEXUALITY. Just awful. Yes this class is an easy A, but if You would learn
absolutely nothing about sexuality. This class was all about politics, society,
advertising adult films, clubs, products, etc. and a little bit of simple sex
ed that everyone learned in middle school!
What?!
Notice that a particular "political" and agenda bent stands out. The above comment was published on October 12, 2016.
Then the criticism got worse. Five comments were published today with the following bent:
Prof. Olga tends to stray off topic a lot, especially since
the election. She has very disparaging comments about President Elect Trump and
VP elect Mike Pence and the Republican Party in general. I felt censored and
bullied if I did not agree with her opinions. Would not recommend class for
anyone that does not think along the socialist ideologies.
Ouch! Whatever happened to freedom of thought and incuiry? Now students are getting bullied into accomodating non-stop socialist thought? By the way, the connection between unfettered sexuality and socialism/government intervention is well-researched.
I am beginning to believe that the break down of the family and normal sexual relations is connected with the anti-liberty, pro-globalist agenda (but let's leave geopolitical opinions for discussion on another day.)
Reminder: Dr. (Un)Stable-Cox used class time to spout off her offensive, incendiary remarks about Donald Trump, and insulted the voters across the country who supported him for President.
The key remarks for which she should be held accountable include:

that is one of the most anti-gay humans in this country. And so we are in for a
difficult time but again I do believe that we can get past that. Our nation is
divided, we have been assaulted, it’s an act of terrorism.

One of the most frightening things for me and most people in
my life is that the people creating the assault are among us.
OK ... so Trump supporters are terrorists. Why?
What else has this professor gotten away with? What other harmful and abusive statements has she made? In spite of the past comments which rated her as open-minded and fun, she took a hard turn to the right and began shaming and belittling those who do not agree with her.
Oh, and by the way, she is raking in a six-figure salary and benefits for the distinct yet disgusting privilege of demeaning conservatives, Republicans, Trump supporters, or just anyone how has a difference of opinion.
Last year alone, she received:
$100,583.00 in base pay
$32,726.00 in overtime!
$28,853.00 in benefits
$162,162.00 total for 2015
And We the People are paying for it!
Contact her office, and demand that she apologize or resign!!
Anteaters. They are furry creatures, a derivative of the bear. They have big claws and long tongues. Yes, they eat ants, but are generally an amiable species.
The anteater is the mascot for my alma mater, UC Irvine.
I reached out the College Republicans earlier this year, excited at the prospect of engaging young conservatives to support my assemblyman in the South Bay as well as rally for my preferred Presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
Canada Free Press printed my reflections on meeting the CR's from UC Irvine--along with other College Republican groups throughout the state of California.
I have had high hopes for the younger generation, in spite of the eight deplorable years of President Barack Obama and his full-front assault on individual liberty.
And yet, I also had to tangle with some disturbing underpinnings within the College Republicans at UC Irvine.
One of their members, who served as a campus state senator for Associated Students of UC Irvine, faced immense pressure to resign for a tasteless joke about Islam posted on Facebook (read more about it here).
Granted, George's jokes about Islam were tasteless (so were the other comments which followed from other participants). Even though the settings on social media intended a private audience, the comments went public.
But are we going to hang people in effigy for off-color comments? Are we going to damage people's careers well into the future for voicing opinions which other people find offensive?
That is the essence of tyranny, and it must not go any futher.
And yet, at UC Irvine, a college Republican was held out to dry, and kicked out by ... his own fellow Republicans.

College Republicans (CR) are alleging that the club’s leaders have disregarded
their own principles in an effort to distance themselves from controversial
comments made by a former member.
“I think they have no values, and they bring discredit to
the name ‘Republican,’” CR member Marshall Roe, who attends a nearby community
college, told Campus Reform. “It’s people like this who are the reason the
Party is falling apart … it’s about titles for them, not values.”
Campus Reform had also reported how the triggered Muslim Student Union wanted George Novshadyan removed from elected office, and granted George's supports very little time to organize and defend their man.

I spoke with George, other members of the club, and a third party involved in the matter. The club wanted to settle the matter privately, and had encouraged George to lay low, not go to the press about what happened. Instead, he spoke out against this fascist coup against him.
He was right to do that.
But let's put this all in perspective ...
A College Republican club s tried to suppress the outcry against political correctness from one of its members.
Eventually, a recall was launched, and he was thrown out. Even though student elections at UC Irvine have some of the most abysmal turnouts--even when bribing voters with a piece of pizza--enough enraged Social Justice snowflakes voted to remove him from office
Be afraid, people. This is serious. The undergraduates of today will be undermining all our core civil institutions tomorrow if they respond to "offensive" ideas or speech in like manner.
The club also removed George from office, illegally based on the club's by-laws, and they even endorsed a socialist for the ASUCI Board!

One UCI student was a victim of the political correctness rampant on campus, UC Irvine, where anti-Semitic rants are common place, where Mulism students repeatedly interrupted the Israeli Ambassador to the United States during one of his campus speeches.
Indeed, freedom of speech is under attack at UC Irvine.
The College Republicans engaged in the same purge against one of their members.
And now they want to showcase a flamboyant flamer and First Amendment absolutist on their campus?
The irony, the hypocrisy was not lost on me.
There is a growing cohort of conservatives more invested in making headlines than making a difference, or titles, not values.
Indeed, it's fun to punk social justice warriors and mock their fascist stupidity. It's nice to get notoriety for your cause
But to what purpose? For what cause?
Liberty is not an end in itself, people! A life of endless rebellion is not life, either.
Furthermore, do these young Conservative anti-SJW's take their fight outside of the safe space of college campuses?
I faced the anti-free speech in Huntington Park, CA, when the mayor threw me out for asking a uestion, then threw out a senior citizen just for saying "Yes!" three times during my public comment. The District attorney got involved, and rebuked the rogue city council!
In Cudahy, California, residents worked together with our group to slam a corrupt city council, four of whom are immature Millennials. The DA Followed up on their suppression of public comment. Three months later, the Spanish local press exposed the Cudahy Corruptitos.
My fight for freedom of speech is getting results, not just giving me fifteen minutes of fame in the local papers.
It's about a petition for redress of grievances, not just making fun of the university grievance industry.
I wonder if Milo knew about this hypocrisy. I wonder if he would have cared ...
And a year where California politics will influence the national discussion and dynamic.
For the first time in decades, California will play a significant role in who will be the nominee for hte major parties. Republicans in this blue state (actually, a red state dominated by two liberal urban areas in Los Angeles and the Bay Area) are gearing up for a much higher than expected turnout.
This rise in the final balloting may help California Republican candidates. More Democrats and Decline to State voters are joining the Republican Party so that they can vote for ... Donald Trump.
Whatever one may think of his policies or rhetoric, his celebrity stronghold over the media can give Republicans an edge in a stater where the Democratic Party has edged them out deliberately--and definitively--for the past twenty years.
And in the state of California, and for the country, there is one section, one assembly seat where the fate of the Golden State rests precariously.
The South Bay, Los Angeles County Assembly District.
The 66th Assembly District is Ground Zero for the state of California, and for the California Republican Party in particular.
We win this seat a second time, the South Bay will be a safe haven once again for the Republican Party.
Not an outpost of isolated conservative courage, but a beach head where young guns will fight for life, liberty, and opportunity to take back Los Angeles County and California for We the People.
The Rebel Alliance is strong, ready to fight to the end.
The Democrats, in full connection with Big Labor, Big Business, and ever self-serving special interest, will pour in every resource available to take over and take the reins of power once again.
In 2014, the California Democratic dominance facade began to crack
David Hadley (with a lot of moral support but not a lot of party funding until the end) defeated a smug, entitled Democratic incumbent in 2014.
And yet the margin of victory was less than 1%.
How many votes? 706!
And the turnout was lower than expected. It was the sixth-year itch, and many Democrats had not turned out to vote.
Will a similar disillusionment draw down the liberal turnout in 2016? Perhaps.
Regardless of the top of the ticket on the Democratic side, Election 2016 will have a bigger turnout with bigger money from the left-wing Democratic Machine.
But ...
David Hadley has a bigger community of support, with the South Bay 300.
He will also have a bigger base of volunteers.
We have not even entered the final month before the primary, and College Republicans are pouring in to help David hold his seat and help California Republicans bring balance back to the Golden State.
Students from Chapman University, USC, UC Irvine (Go Anteaters!), and Cal State University Channel Islands showed up and showed their support.
It's a Saturday, people. Shouldn't these kids be taking a break from their studies? Or shouldn't they be cramming for their next exam?
These young Republicans can take on the heavy load of course work and political canvassing.
The Secretary for the California College Republicans came down and helped, too!
Special thanks to these young conservatives for stepping up, so soon and so early.
As we approach the June 7th primary it is vital that every stakeholder in the state steps up and rallies the South Bay for David Hadley.
Young conservatives have heeded the call and are stepping up for the win.
This fight is for everyone. If your assembly seat or Congressional district is safe (or impossible), mobilize your forces down to the South Bay and help the Rebel Alliance beat back the Democratic Empire!

group Fun.
The music video doesn’t quite match the band’s name.
With a seedy bar as background, the band hits their chorus,
all hell breaks loose. Patrons smash peers with beer bottles and chairs. The
fear and booze spills all over in a swirling chaos. Even though the lead singer
promises to take his girlfriend home, a brawler dashes out and crashes a stool
on an unwitting passerby. The chorus hammers: “We are young! So let’s set the
world on fire. We can burn brighter than the sun!”
A bitter frustration underscores the melody. In a similar
way, a sorrow seems to grips the younger generation. Robots are taking over
entry level jobs. The world is a lot less safe, as Islamic terrorists
annihilate their global “opponents”, unchecked by the feckless Barack Obama. At
home, the adults have neglected their progeny, opting for champagne socialism
and borrowing from the future. They declined their role as authority figures,
nurturers—basically, parents. It seems like the college generation will be
defined by safe speech zones and “microaggressions”.
In spite of these dire outcomes, young conservatives are rising
up in our midst, even here in California, and their future can be bright. Fire
can destroy, but heat produces light, energy, and power—like the sun.
George Yang, candidate for US Senate
All of this segues to my fun weekend in San Diego, where the
California College Republicans (CACR) hosted their annual convention. A good friend of mine, George Yang of Menlo
Park (who had run for Lieutenant Governor in 2014 and won a number of
surprisingly liberal districts in the Bay Area), invited me down. Even though I
am not exactly college age, I was not the only post graduate, but found I had a
lot to learn. Besides, I wanted to coordinate with college groups, turn up
youth outreach and turn out the vote for Election 2016.

The current CACR chairman, Jere Ford, opened up the convention
Friday night. Another US Senate candidate, Duf Sundheim, and California’s RNC
Committeeman Shawn Steel helped kick off the weekend. The next day, when I
showed up, Ford delivered good news: “This is the best attendance we have had
yet for this convention!”
UCI GOP! Go Anteaters!
Indeed, it was packed.
Young college Republicans from Humboldt to San Diego, including UC
Irvine, my alma mater (ZOT!) showed up to brandish their
conservative stripes and encourage one another for the wins to come. Most were
political science majors. They related the lamentable struggles they face from
peers and professors to be respected, even to be heard in their classes.
Professors tilt left (like a broken, arcane arcade machine) and take down
thousands of young minds, which no longer learn how to think. Why were they still
Republicans, then, in spite of the dire hostilities they daily face? Some come
from Republican families. Others went into college with fixed progressive
views, only to see them fail. Writers and volunteers, many of them show
interest in managing campaigns (or running for office themselves).
Pete Peterson, Dean of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy
Pete Peterson was the first guest speaker for Saturday
morning. As the 2014 Republican candidate for California’s Secretary of State,
he had gathered endorsements from major newspapers up and down the state.
Despite his disappointing loss, he reminded the audience that in the two
districts where his losses were by the widest margins, Los Angeles and Alameda
Counties, two Republicans were elected to the state assembly including my own
David Hadley. From those two beacons of light, Peterson (himself the dean for
the only center-right public policy institute in the state) exhorted his young
listeners: “California is a red state dominated by those two liberal areas. We
need to fix that.”
Two other speakers focused on new messaging. The GOP needs
to revamp its brand. The argument “Big vs. Limited Government” isn’t working.
Why? The Information Revolution grants huge resources and expansive influence. Saying
“No” to liberal lunacy isn’t enough, either. Focus on liberty, which is always
a new concept. Democrats push an old, industrial age ideology. What worked one
hundred years ago, a top-down assembly line structure giving everyone a car,
just won’t work in today’s open, organic, and lively society.
When I heard the word “open”, my mind opened. That’s the new
way today that we can sell conservative ideals. Focus on life, openness, and
opportunity. What do Democrats have? Old, failed, and stale. The Democrats are
the party of taxis. Republicans are the party of Uber: cheaper, faster, with more opportunity for everyone, not just
a fading Middle Class that needs a boost.
In a later event, the young charges heard from conservative
academics. They encouraged their audience to speak out and advocate for their
principles. More people would appreciate and follow their example. “Don’t read
what the instructor assigns on the syllabus,” one of them advised. “Read
conservative thinkers!”
San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer
The Keynote Speaker for the evening? San Diego’s Kevin
Faulconer, the only Republican mayor in the Top Ten cities. He emphasized
reform and results, and connections with communities long avoided by
conservatives. If you haven’t heard, the “Enron of the Pacific” has transformed
into a glowing success story, in large part because of the growing Republican
resurge, from mayor the city council.

At the end of the evening came the awards ceremonies. The UC
Santa Barbara Republicans won for most active group. Jacob Ellenhorn, USC’s College Republican President,
walked into a firestorm because he invited wildfire conservative journalist
Milo Yiannapoulos. The student council wanted to force Ellenhorn out over his
conservative views! After outside pressure, they relented (but took away his
stipend!). He later won the CACRA award for activist of the year. Well-deserved,
to say the least.

These young people are setting the world on fire, and making
sure that conservative ideals—and the Republican Party—shine brighter in the
days to come. We can rest assured that with their dedication to constitutional
rule and the rule of law, they will be able to take this country home.
